You don’t feel gross. they don’t make a mess or get soggy and dry fast. They aren’t brought or hurt in any way. they come with a rubber mat so it stays in place. in the video, I run my hand under water and cup some and as you can see in about 20 seconds the major puddles dry up. I definitely would recommend and will buy a set for my parents and sister as well.

I know these are for outside the shower. But I had a better ideal for them. I put one under the drying rack in the kitchen to catch the water so the water doesn’t seat on the counter when it falls off the side. The Diatomaceous Earth Shower Mat works perfect catches the water and dries up really fast leaving counter dry. The other use I bought it for is to put under the cats water dish. For some reason my cats like to put their paws in the water before they drink it leaving puddles of water on the floor. I have used the rubber mats before and the water stays on the mats too long making a mess. This Diatomaceous Earth Shower Mat works perfect. The mat is so big I put the water dish in the middle and cats are not afraid to step on it and make their mess. The mat catches everything and water disappears quickly.

It’s the size I need and does absorb water well BUT unlike some other brands that’s better made this one is dusty and the black powder keeps coming off. This will happen forever and doesn’t fully go away after washing and wiping. So will constantly be dealing with black powder flaking off and towels turning black when wiping as if I’m wiping charcoal. I’ve tried other brands that has better seal.

I’ve had many diatomaceous earth mats before and absolutely love how functional they are. The ones I had before were all light colored, and over time they got dirty and was hard to scrub out (who wants to be scrubbing them anyway). So I got a dark grey one this time thinking that it wouldn’t show the signs of heavy use.These mats are fairly slim and lightweight but sturdy also. It dries quickly, like in under a minute. They came with anti-slip mat that you put underneath to prevent sliding. That is absolutely necessary, especially if you have hard or uneven floors. So far these are everything I expected.When I first got these, the mats were dusty, so I hosed them down until water runs pretty clear. Then I took a rag and wiped them down, hosed them off, wiped them down again. I did several passes but still couldn’t get them completely clean. So now when I step on these with wet feet, my feet are dirty, and I have to wipe them clean again.I hope the dust would eventually come off completely, but I was somewhat disappointed. It could be better used for something else, if it doesn’t have to come in contact with your skin.Overall I would recommend getting a different brand, maybe with better quality.

These stone shower pads are of very inferior quality. When taken from the box they were covered in a film of grey dark chalk substance that stained our hands and everything else. But the worst part is after cleaning and placing on the floor outside the shower they fell apart after being stepped on the very first time we used them. So, in the trash, and the company statement is they are not returnable. Wasted money.
