I got this for hurricane season in the tropics. Ernesto just passed and we haven't had power for days...and it's hot! I've used the fan on the lowest setting (no lights, no oscillation) for 2.5 nights. The low setting is very low but it's better than nothing by far. It finally died overnight on the third night. So I would definitely say the battery lasts. It is quiet...too quiet if you're used to having fans normally for white noise. My only complaint is the amount of time it takes to charge. But this is normally not a problem if you have power and a little bit of planning. Five stars

The media could not be loaded. The fan works great, recharges, and oscillates. I bought it for my desk at work but it's too loud in my little office.

   I bought two Edon fans of this exact same fan, and i love them. I recently needed to buy another for my husbands work desk and when I typed in Edon, this one came up. I purchased thinking it was the same. This fan is not the same. The buttons are different, it feels cheaper, and it is significantly louder. Hopefully it lasts but I don¡¯t have high hopes.

   We bought this for our cruise and it kept shutting off at different times. Sometimes it wouldn’t come on at all. We charged it and still nothing. We left it on the ship.

   This fan was perfect but stopped working after 5 months. It would turn on but then turn itself off after about 5 seconds and then wouldn¡¯t turn on at all.

   I originally bought this due to hurricane season and it runs without electricity and it did help out a lot when the lights went out but it will be put with hurricane supplies and only be used for that because it’s too noisy and fan is not strong enough to use on a regular basis.
