Now, this is a fun toy! I bought a variety of Spiderman gifts for a 6 year old who had a birthday and is a huge Spiderman fan. The other toys I bought (different brands) were a bit disappointing and quite honestly, I was feeling a tad embarrassed but this toy saved the day! lol. A glove is included, a web shooter, string, wristband and 3 suction cup darts. A bit of assembly is required (tying string to the darts) but its otherwise easy to operate. The shooter actually launches the darts well. This is a fun , reasonably priced toy that works well. Perfect for Spidey fans.***I did check the recommended ages for this toy prior to ordering. The info above says its for ages 36 months -18 years. But the box the toy comes in says ’14+ages’. That’s quite a difference-one says 36 months, the other says 14 YEARS old. At any rate, I purchased this for a 6 year old and informed the parents about the age discrepancy. Something to keep in mind if you’re considering purchasing***

The Spider Web Shooters with Gloves, Superheroes Wrist Launcher Toy is fun.The glove is cute, I haven’t tried it on my grandson’s hand yet, but it is definitely made for a child’s hand. There’s a small amount of assembly required, and no directions whatsoever. Most of it was easy enough to figure out except the “spider silk”…There’s some string that apparently you tie to the web on one of the darts, but there is no explanation as to where you, attach the other end of the string. And there’s no obvious place to tie it. I’m a little confused. Also in the description, the band attaching the shooting mechanism to your gloved hand, is described as elastic, but it is 2 Velcro straps.I think it would’ve been better if it was elastic because little kids could slide it on and off their hand without assistance of an adult to help with the Velcro attachment. The launcher works pretty good and shoots pretty far.Overall, I think my grandson will have a lot of fun with it. I fear the darts will be lost in a hurry without the string to retrieve them. But with no explanation or directions, I’m at a loss as to how to attach them to the unit.A little more thought could’ve gone into presenting this. Directions are needed.

What I didnt like:No instructionsOpposing sides of the box shows different web shootersString was 1 long piece, felt it shouldve been 3 pre cut lengths with the max shooting distance in mindNo dedicated place to tie the string on either the dart or the shooterVelcro wrist straps couldve had more thought put into themWhat I liked:Firing mechanism is surprisingly strong, did have to show the kids how to fire it.Velcro didnt bug my kids wrists despite the odd design choiceMy kids had fun. They were running around the house, shooting things and then seeing if they could open/pull the object and to that end, it does work. The opened cabinets, pulled empty plastic bottles off the cabinet. It wasnt a 100% but it worked a fair amount of time and they were having fun which is really the most important thing.

At the time of this review, this product is about $10, and there is a 50% off code listed. For that price, this toy is awesome. I say this because my son earned money to buy a different version of this toy on NiceShine that was $40. Admittedly, that more expensive shooter had more features and a bit better design, but not enough to justify the price difference. My eight-year-old had just as much fun with this one as he did with his previous one which eventually couldn’t be fixed after the string was tangled and untangled too many times. It’s just a fun concept, and it will eventually break, but your kid will have a blast in the meantime.

This spider web shooter is something a child who loves super heroes would love. The quality is just plain. I like the idea of shooting a web which is why I ordered it. There are no instructions of where to tie the string. I tied one end of the string to the dart web. But, I have no idea where to tie the other end of the string to the launcher. The dart shoots out well so I would say the performance is good. The string part is just not working for me. It comes with 2 strips of Velcro to attach to your wrist, 3 darts, 1 glove, and some string.

I got this Spiderman web launcher for my toddler and they love it. The suction cups shoot a great distance and really stick to what they hit. My toddler loves it and they play with this glove for hours. The design fits perfectly on their little hand. The colors are bright and vibrant. The quality of this product is great. Great product.

When I first recieved this web shooter I was afraid it would be too cheesy to be a hit birthday gift for my son. All the pieces come loose in the box (that has pictures of two diffent web shooters on the outside) and you’re meant to put it all together. The overall presentation and perceived quality made me nervous, but my spidey loving son absolutely loves it! The suction cups are a huge hit, and as compared to the name brand with the darts, the functionality is spot on for him (as he is only 5yrs). His twin brother (the Iron Man fanatic) recieved the latter, and even he was waiting for a turn with the web shooter. The suction cups are a fun addition, and when shot at the windows, they actually stick. My boys are well under the recommended 14+ age limit for this type of shooting toy, but they are familiar with similar toys (older cousins and siblings) and the potential for boo-boos. I make my kiddos wear safety glasses when they are all playing together to minimize the risk (my husbanddoes not), but it’s definitely something to consider when ordering a toy like this for your kiddos. I will say this toy packs less of a punch than the dart name brand variety, but if the suction cups were to be removed the darts could be more of a hazard, for sure. I definitely prefer this shooter to the others we have, but I wish the wrist straps were more robust and fixed, as my kiddos (even the older ones) have issues getting the unit on. Also the cups come free from the darts, as I mentioned before, so you may want to consider gluing them on. I will be using some e6000 the minute I can get this shooter free from kids. They absolutely love it.

This glove is definitely sized for a child, but the button works hard even for an adult. It also has a cheap feel to it, like it probably won’t last. I tried it before giving it to my four year old and decided against giving it too him. I think it would just be too frustrating for him to release the shooter.

The string is impossible to attach so you just end up using the darts which are fun for a couple hours until the kids lose them.

There is nowhere for the string to go on the shooter, so if you want to use the string you have to have the entire length of it hanging out and getting tangled up. I’m not sure why they include the string at all, to be honest, since they clearly didn’t design a way to load it, wind it, or even a clear place to attach it. My son still likes it because it shoots darts, but overall it’s disappointing.

My son kept asking for web shooters. There are many out there but we needed a cheaper option. These were perfect and he hasn’t stopped playing with them. The only thing was the string that came with them. There wasn’t instructions for him and we aren’t sure how the string is supposed to used
