Ok so, I don’t love that this smells like burnt hair when its on. I actually bought this to replace my old one thinking it was just because it was old, but it has the same smell. However, with that being said, these things are an absolute game changer!! I have ethnic hair even though I’m so pale i’m almost see-through like casper the ghost, and not only is it thick and coarse but its curly too. These things straighten it out so well and is SO much easier. there is maybe a slight learning curve when we’ve used the basic flat irons our whole lives, but to me this is so much faster!! and I have tried just the brush ones too but those did not work well in my hair. loved the idea but hated them. This one, def brush your hair our or else it will get caught, but otherwise its so dang fast and I really don’t ever wuna use anything else. Unless someone invents something I can just stick my whole head in and have it come out straight hahaha

Having used different hair straighteners over the years, including flat plate style both thick and thin as well as the types with plates that have teeth, I figured this style looked odd but was worth a shot. Very pleased with the straightening, and though I expected some tangling during use, I didn’t experience any. I appreciated that the cord swivels at the handle, but will point out that the plug end is not grounded (if that’s a concern for you). They include a heat-resistant glove which helps during use. One thing to watch for is that the temperature setting button can inadvertently get activated during use due to where it’s located. I I have 2B/C hair and got good results using the lowest heat setting.

My Tymo straightening brush just bit the dust, so this was great timing. The brush heats up quickly – within 30 seconds. Max heat is 410 degrees which is lower than I like when it’s humid. It’s not as heavy as the Tymo, but still sturdy. It does pull out hair, no matter how gently I run it through, so I’m taking off a star for that. I like the 60 minute auto shutoff- my old one was 30 minutes. Sometimes I let it heat up while I put on my makeup, so the 30 minutes is a little too short. This also came with a glove to protect your hand, which is nice.

I researched this brush after finding similar on TikTok. I wanted one that I didn¡¯t have to order from TikTok shop but was still a reasonable price. I tested this one out and it was simple to use and effective! The video attached is my initial reaction. I timed how long it took in total to straighten my hair and it was 10 minutes. I have very thick and very long hair. It did take me a couple passes through the back but overall I¡¯m impressed!

TLDR: I have a lot of hair tools, both to make my hair curly, and to make it straight. This one is my favorite because of how fast and easy it is.It comes in a super nice box, making it ultra giftable. Upon opening the box, I found the brush to be in a dust bag. I don’t usually use those, but it’s a nice touch. There’s a protective glove included as well. The brush it self is a nice wait and looks sleek and classy.It is pretty intuitive to use. Push and hold the power button to turn on, push the same button again to change the temp. My only complaint is that I did accidentally bump that button while using it, turning up the heat higher than I wanted (I have fine hair and use the lowest temp setting I can). It heat up fast. I didn’t time it, but it was 30 seconds or less.You can’t use it exactly like a brush – you do need to use both hands. One to hold the brush and the other to hold out a section of hair. But if you’re holding on to the section of hair, the brush grabs it easily and just runs right though your hair. I was able to go fairly quickly and still get nice straight hair in just one pass. You do want to get all the tangles out before using, but I didn’t get any while using this brush, and it didn’t catch or pull my hair at all.Maybe the only drawback was that I couldn’t get my hair to curl at the ends like I can with my flat iron and also my hot air round brush. Not sure if it’s just not possible, or if I just don’t know how? Anyway, like I said, this is my new favorite hair tool because it is so quick and easy and will allow quick touch ups in the morning!

I will admit that I was a little intimidated by the appearance of the comb at first. Using this hair straightener brush is so fast and easy! I just plugged it in and pushed the button. Repeatedly pressing the button cycles through 3 different temperatures. It only takes about a minute to reach full heat. The whole brush portion gets hot after a few minutes. I hold a section of hair with one hand and comb through it with the other. My hair is thick, so I had to comb the more unruly sections 2¨C3 times. Overall, it’s much faster than using a traditional straightener. It does take about an hour to completely cool down, though. This straightening brush was nicely packaged. It came in a magnetic box with a travel bag, heat glove, and instructions. It makes a fantastic gift.

It heats to 4 different temps: 290F, 330F, 370F, and 410F. It also has a swivel cord. This works so well and I love it. The price is low, but the quality is outstanding.

It’s called a “straightener” brush, and it definitely straightened my frizzy hair. It says it’s “fast heating,” and yup, the temperature got into the 300s in what seemed like no time. It claims to have an “anti-scald design,” and I didn’t even have to use the included protective glove (but please be careful, since you might need to wear it), The only negative — other than the “negative ions” which are a positive — is that, as with any heat appliance, I fear that it could dry out or damage my hair, so I plan to use this sparingly. It’s just nice to know that if we’re ever in another Covid lockdown — perish the thought!! — I won’t have to get through it with my hair looking like a Brillo pad.

I thought I’d try this brush because it sounded like an easy way to touch up my straightened hair.It works alright, not great. It wasn’t any faster than just using my flat iron and the results weren’t as good. Great simple hot brush to smooth out hair. This is used in place of flatirons. This hot brush heats up pretty quickly and does a nice job at smoothing out my fine hair in the morning. I prefer the brush over a flatiron because I have fine hair and flatirons don’t really catch my hair well, and I am sometimes left with a ridge where I applied the flatiron. With this hot brush, I can just hold the end of my hair and basically brush it down. Price is okay, not great but not too bad ($30 at the time of this review). Construction quality is like those tools at the big box stores, it’s not professional grade but it is fine for at home use.

I really liked this product! It comes with a bag for storing, velcro tie so you can bundle the cord, a glove so you won’t burn yourself. The cord easily rotates so you won’t get tangled up in it. The handle was a bit heavy, and the hand placement was a bit weird, so I had to get used to that so I wasn’t accidently pressing the heat button while using it. I have relaxed 4c hair, so this worked really well for me. I didn’t have to spend long applying heat to my head. It left my hair shiny and straight, without drying it out or burning it. I only turned it up to 370, and my advice is to start out on the lowest setting so you don’t apply too much head to start.It was easy to use and will pack away well into my things. My one concern was that I wish it cooled off faster or came with a cooling mat. Both the back and front were equally hot, so I was worried about storing this somewhere to cool when I unplugged it

I really like the concept of this straightener. I like that it doesn’t have a clamp and its essentially as easy as brushing your hair. I did feel it took a bit of volume out of my hair so I straightened from underneath instead of on top and that helped a little. It says you can curl your hair with this but I couldn’t figure out how to do so. Every time I tried to curl, my hair just creased. It has 4 temperature settings and came with a heat glove. After turning it off, it took a really long time to cool down in comparison to my regular straight iron. Overall, it works and is fairly quick but isn’t perfect.

I really like the way this straightener works. It’s really as simple as brushing your hair, and you only need to learn the angle of how to pull it through your hair to get the curve or look that you want. I like that this one is a little larger than the one I already have, so you can cover more territory quickly. Two things I did not like so much is that the temperature settings seem a little far apart for my hair, personally. 370 seemed like not quite enough and 410 seemed too hot, probably just the texture of my hair? The other thing is the power button, it’s way too easy to press it by accident while using and change the heat settings by mistake. You also have to unplug the unit to get it to completely power off (you can press the button to turn off, but it doesn’t go blank it just says off on the screen). All in all I would recommend, especially to someone who has never used this type of straightening brush.

I got this for my wife. She has short hair (doesn’t touch her shoulders) but she needs to flatten it otherwise it sticks out after she dries it. In her case, it didn’t work as well as her ceramic flat iron. With her hair being so short, she wasn’t able to grab it in the back and work it against the base of the comb. With her flat iron she can clamp the hair down so it’s not an issue. On the other parts it flattened well and it did leave her hair shiny so that’s good. It was difficult for her to grab hair with the gloves on, but again, that’s due to her short hair.

She usually uses a traditional straightener or curling iron to control frizz, and while this tool does work, it isn¡¯t as efficient as a regular straightener. This prizm hair straightener brush is super easy to use! I do like that this heats up quickly. I don’t think it’s fully hot in 20s like it claims, more like a minute, but it’s much faster than other straightening brushes that are on the market that I’ve used. This does work – to brush through your hair, but I feel like it takes me longer to straighten my hair, than if I use a plated straightener. That said, I like that I’m able to just brush and straighten all at once. I do see some flyaways using this – that I woudn’t get with plates. But this one seems to tame those better than other brands of brushes, so this one is better quality than most.

This is my favorite way to straighten my hair. It takes no time to achieve the look I want and I feel that my hair is healthier than using the flat iron. I usually use the highest setting on my flatiron but on this I don’t have to turn it up so high. I really gets my roots straight and I can get my hair done in about 25 minutes. My mom has really thick coarse greying hair. Most straighteners do not work well for her because it is so thick and stubborn. This actually worked pretty well for her hair!! Because it brushes through the hair while straightening, it gets to all the hairs in one swipe! My only complaint is that only gets to 410 or 420 I think which is probably hot enough for most everyone! And I know it is not good for your hair to go hotter than that, but my hair and her hair needs that really really hot temp. But her hair did stay straight most all day! Definitely recommend! Especially if typical straighteners do not work good with your hair!! It is easy to use and does great!!!

It’s much better than a flattening iron because you aren’t able to make really fine adjustments with a clamping iron, but you can with this brush type iron.There are multiple temperature settings and once you get the temp where you want it, you just have to extend a section of hair and brush through it.

This works pretty well. I wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, but it’s easy to use. It’s not really a brush, but works kind of like a round brush. One small section at a time. You can do some straightening and also curl just a little at the end depending how you angle it.My hair is not very textured or thick, and this worked quite easily. I tried on a friend’s hair that was much more thick with a lot of texture. It also worked well, but took a lot more time and patience.It heats up fast and comes with a travel bag, and heat resistant glove.

This hair straightener brush heats up quickly and slides through brushed hair pretty well. It gets the job done, but in my opinion it does not do as well as a standard straightener. Since you’re not clamping, it doesn’t hold really tight against the hair, so the ends don’t get as smooth straight as I would prefer. Also, if you have naturally very kinky or frizzy hair, it doesn’t slide through quite as easily. Honestly, I think it’s a go-to tool if you have hair that naturally is fairly straight, and you just want to brush through a quick smoothing. I’m so-so on this tool, but it may just not quite be for me personally.

I love the concept of this straightening brush. It’s beautiful emerald green and gold and it’s easy to use. It is slightly heavy but not too bad where it’s uncomfortable. I liked this product as it made my hair straight quickly but I feel it has chances to give burns if it directly touches the skin as the brush becomes hot.I loved the heat resistant glove for safety but I felt this might damage my hair if used frequently
