Works well for text and line art in non-permanent things like tickets or event signage which I happen to print often enough. Since this printer uses thermal paper, I would not recommend it for long-term legal documents (Quick Guide states 7-10 year print viability if kept dry, at room temperature, and out of sunlight) but if you need a semi-permanent document, it completely fits the bill. There is no wasted space in the case and the entire printer feels sturdy if not a bit heavy (721g / ~1.6lbs). The hinge and hinge opening buttons, which allow for paper release or roller and thermal head cleaning, have a good feel without any play. The printer has two rubber feet which do a good job of preventing printer movement but they do little to address one of my few complaints about printing.Phomemo App (Android)I have used and generally like the Phomemo label printer Android Apps ‘Print Master’ and ‘Labelife’. The eponymously named ‘Phomemo’ App is no different. In app, it is easy to connect the printer with Bluetooth or the QR code on the printer’s top sticker, change settings (Auto Shutdown – I recommend setting to at least 30 mins.), and print all or individual pages from various sources of documents (browse the filesystem or Share to ‘Phomemo’ from an open document. There is even an available library of line art drawings over a range of categories for simple sign or coloring sheet printouts. The one thing that wasn’t entirely clear with the app was the best method for cancelling a multi-page print and what I found to work for me was powering off the printer and force stopping the app.Windows 10 DriverThe ‘Phomemo’ App, Quick Start Guides, and the printer’s top sticker all make it easy to locate the drivers form Windows and MacOS. I only have Windows machines and had no issues finding, downloading, and installing the M08F driver. Printing was as simple as connecting the printer to the computer with the USB-A to USB-C cable and choosing the printer by name in any print dialog.PrintingMy test prints were done from a 100-sheet pack of Phomemo branded letter thermal paper that was on-sale for $20.99 (21¢ per sheet, a 200-sheet pack is available for $29.99 for 15¢ per sheet). Inserting paper and getting it to be properly aligned in the printer can be tricky if done too slowly. Make sure the thermal paper is oriented with the correct side up (‘This side should face up.’ is labeled on one side) and insert it as straight and swift as you can until it butts up against the roller bar inside. An improperly aligned sheet will print but the page can be skewed and the page edges torn ragged (only 2 of 20 printed sheets). If a sheet is inserted incorrectly, it is possible to open the printer and re-insert the sheet again. I printed using both Medium and Heavy darkness settings and observed a minimal difference in quality for most documents. If you have very small details or text (8pt or less) the Heavy darkness setting will make those parts more legible. Be warned that 6pt or smaller font can be spotty or illegible. All linear bar, Data Matrix ,and QR codes on tickets that I printed scanned with ease using my cellphone. The average time for a full sheet print was ~25 seconds.Battery Usage and ChargingWhen unboxed, the printer had 97% charge. I printed 20 sheets, 18 at Heavy darkness, and that only took the charge to 84%. I cannot envision many scenarios that would have this printer use more than 25% charge. Charging back to 100% took about 30 minutes and, as stated in the text heavy Quick Start Guide, had to be done using the 5V 2A power which I had on my computer’s USB hub. Neither my Samsung Fast or Super Fast phone chargers nor my Anker 20W or 45W chargers would charge the printer.Recommendations to Phomemo to Improve the Printer• Adding pop-out or fold-out paper guides could ease proper paper alignment on insertion• Adding thicker or more dampening rubber cushions on the bottom of the printer could reduce the amount of resonant sound generated by the printer• Depending on the desired typical usage per charge, the battery size could be halved and still allow for 50+ pages per charge while likely taking the weight of the printer to less than a pound

I enjoyed using the printer but it has issues with staying connected to the PC via a USB cable which immediately deducted a star sadly, I think it would be great if wifi printing would be implemented for pc use instead of wired printing, and Phomemo’s app functionality while beautiful and well maintained is very limited for the letter-sized printer, I think it would benefit from the ability to create pages/notes like the smaller 4 inch, 2 inches and under printers by Phomemo which I have many of and recommend those for labelers and scrapbooking. The print quality on documents is wonderful, if that’s all you need then this is perfect but photos do not print that clearly without some filtering and tinkering in-app. I also found this printer would be amazing if Phomemo could provide letter-size thermal adhesive paper to make stickers it would be great for journaling and scrapbooking crafts and be even more indispensable. I tested this printer with tattoo thermal stencil paper and it works perfectly! Overall it is great for documents but the app needs improvement to allow more flexibility and the refill paper options need to expand to adhesive sheets and perhaps colored papers just like Phomemos smaller A6 printers and labelers, I look forward to any future updates to the printer unfortunately in its current state, it did not work for me as I needed it to for my everyday uses, but it will be perfect for the uses I stated for someone else.

I’m so glad I got this printer. I wanted something that was very portable as I planned on taking it with me when I travel for work. I also wanted one with thermal capabilities to cut down on moving parts and running out of ink at inconvenient times. After looking at a few different models, I gave this one a shot. There were a few tiny hiccups during setup, but it was a generally easy process. I was set up and ready to print my first document in minutes. It does come with a few sheets of paper, but you’ll definitely want to buy a pack at the time of purchase just to make sure you have paper handy. The paper is more expensive and can only be printed on one side, but I don’t print often and I when I do it’s often when I’m out and about or for something last minute, so having something I can bring along with me and something that will work with possible months of sitting idle without coming back to dry ink cartridges makes the price worth it. The compact size makes it easy to slip into the large pocket of my laptop bag and it’s light weight adds almost nothing to the overall weight of my luggage. I also got a travel scanner with a similar form factor so now I have a traveling office which is great because I no longer have to run around scrambling for a printer or scanner when I’m out of town. The extra cost is worth it if you’re looking for something compact or something that requires very little maintenance.

I received the Phomemo Portable Wireless Printer to review and here are my thoughts:1. The print quality is surprisingly good for a thermal printer. Better, sharper than the retail receipts I have received.2. It’s as small as can be and still print 8.5×11 paper. That’s impressive. (Note: I’m sure it prints other sizes, but this is what I was given to try out.)3. It prints easily via Bluetooth. While I did use their app to print, the app itself is lightweight and intuitive, and I was able to print from just about any document format. I use Google Drive for everything and it was able to print an exported PDF easily. No hoops to jump through, and no hiccups.4. It is completely wireless. After it’s charged, all you need is paper and a Bluetooth connection to print. There is an option for directly connecting to a laptop, but I didn’t test that option because I am rarely at my desk. The charge seems to hold — I’ve printed 6 sheets on a partial charge and it shows no signs of being out of juice anytime soon.Now for the cons, which are relatively picky and few (I am reviewing this for others, after all…).1. The paper has to be *thermal* paper. It’s do-able — they sell it on NiceShine, as well as at Staples, OfficeMax, and probably others. It’s not hard to find, however, if you’re geographically far from a thermal paper seller, and you run out, and you need it *now,* that could get tricky. BUT, that’s the same story as any thermal printer (retail receipts, etc.), and I would assume if you’re using this for business, you’ll be sure to stock up on thermal paper to avoid this.2. Thermal paper is more expensive than office paper. This may seem obvious. But here’s the thing: if you are geographically far from a conventional printer, this is one way to print anyway. You can balance out the cost of driving to and printing at a copy center or the office with the cost of having the paper on hand and ready to use immediately.3. The actual printing is a little noisy. Not loud, but noisy. So don’t print next to a light sleeper or in church.4. I’m not sure how to tell how much of a charge is left. Perhaps there is a way, but it’s not obvious to me.Overall, I’m impressed with this printer. It definitely worth considering if you’d like the option to print on the spot. This printer performed as expected. I bought this printer to print invoices on the go.I have attached pictures from this printer and a HP Color LaserJet printer for comparison. Text is legible but not as crisp as the LaserJet, but bold text looks good. The picture lost details but that is to be expected when converting from color to black and white.The thermal paper measures .0025″ while the regular printer paper measured .003″. Even though the papers do not seem to measure that much difference, they feel very different. This also might be in part to the “slickness” of the thermal paper. One limitation I also want to point out is that on the back of the paper in very light print it says “This side should face up.” While it is there to make sure you are printing on the right side be aware it is on the back. This also means you cannot print on the back side,.Even though I have pointed out negatives I want to reiterate that this printer has its place.1. It is very portable. I have not seen another printer this small. Its only slightly bigger then single page document scanners2. It is clean. There is not any toner or ink to spill out of it.3. It works.It is not perfect but it fills a hole in my bag without take a ton of space.

This little printer is super neat, easy to use, lightweight, easy to transport, doesn’t need ink and has an easy to use app. Those are the pros.The cons:- you have to use special thermal paper (regular printer paper is about $8 for 500 sheets while thermal paper is about $22 for 200 sheets)- you can only print black and white- the print is easy to read, but it’s not as “brilliant” as traditional ink or laser printers.Those are the main points. The cons, however, you should know going in and likely don’t intend to use it in such a manner, so the cons might not be cons at all for some.I doubt anyone would get this to replace a home printer or if you print a lot or if you need crisp, clean presentations. This would be much more suited for on the go, quick and easy print something in your car. Maybe even a college student that needs to print things from time to time and doesn’t want a monster printer clogging up their dorm.

Do you have a hard time printing simple pages? Printing can be such a hassle especially when you need to print something quickly between Connectivity issues, paper jams, having to worry about ink usage, etc. The mobile printer market has a few options to solve these problems.Unboxing experience: The printer is secured in the box with 2 foam squares on each end and you receive the printer a USB Type A to Type C cable, a flannel carrier bag, and a USB Type C charging cable. Everything came undamaged.Product Highlights: The 2 main highlight features to note are the printer’s portability and its Ink-free printing.It is extremely portable I personally throw it in my bookbag to take it to work just in case I need to print something off quickly. It is charged via a Type C cable. The printer can be used with Phones and computers via Bluetooth, and Type C cable.Inkless printing is possible because they have implemented thermal technology. It uses special thermal paper, so you don’t have to worry about buying or changing ink cartridges, but you must use special thermal paper.My Personal Experience: I have been using the M08F for about 2 weeks now and have printed numerous documents. The quality of the prints was decent, it was easy to line the paper up and the app for phone printing is relatively easy to use. It’s a tad bit noisy but nothing more than your average printer.Pros• Lightweight• Portable• Ink free• WirelessCons• Tad bit noisy• Must use thermal paper.• Prints in black and white only.Quality and Durability: The initial quality of the printer itself is good, it doesn’t feel cheap. And over the 2 weeks of throwing, it in my bookbag. It hasn’t been damaged or scratched but it is too early to speak on long-term durability.Value for Money: For $159 to 179$ it has an interesting value proposition if you are fine with printing black and white documents only and need a lightweight, portable, and inkless printer it is great value and will pay for itself within a few months of usage.Conclusion: I overall recommend the printer for printing documents on the fly or in a situation where a traditional printer is impractical, and you don’t require color printing. The Inkless printing is great long as you buy thermal paper that is needed so plan on purchasing that as well, I have seen 100-200 sheets for anywhere between $18-$30. Your mileage may vary.

First, anyone considering this purchase because some other brands of thermal printer for around the same cost or $20 +/-, but see that the others do not seem to have as many, or as high ratings, I can assure you, this product is one of the most disappointing I’ve ever had from NiceShine.com. I’ve given it a fair amount of time since my purchase and am just beating myself up that I spent nearly $140+ (price at the time of my purchase, with only a handful of other thermal printers for “standard” sized paper – as in not labels – out there then). At this point, if my review doesn’t trigger some unbeknownst to me “spend 30k in nearly 8 months using Prime, satisfaction on everything guaranteed!” refund policy, to which I would happily RETURN the perfect physical condition, working condition (just horrible junk) product to for even 1/2 my money back, I am going to try and recoup something on eBay. This is worth about as much as it costs (barring any unusual circumstances) in time and effort and money to read my review. I thought at first it would just be a matter of getting used to a thermal printer, but soon learned that quality like this printers (or, lack of) is definitely controllable. My main marker? Traditionally, thermal printers are for SHIPPING LABELS – you know, UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS – I mean, generally, they are built exactly FOR this purpose. Yet, UPS, FedEx, etc., cannot even scan the BARCODES I print out to send return labels from, or package insert labels, and 1/2 the time, I end up with a charge for something that was never received, thanks to a botched label from this printer. Yes, I have done troubleshooting, support, adjusted settings, computers, browsers, apps, methods of connection, shall I go on? Don’t get me wrong… If you need this to print from solely a large size, Helvetica, bolded, based font for every single thing – and with not just no images (that’s to be expected) but barely able to process punctuation and characters- spend away! Otherwise, there are several other options, particularly if you are able to use a ribbon – more for compact home printing vs. on-the-go, but even other brands without a ribbon, cheaper than this one that work 10x better. I’ll admit, I have heard that this company (Phomemo) has better support than some of the cheaper/much less advertised and reviewed brands, but what good is support when the simple problem is quality control and design of the product? I’ll take a so/so support team and a stellar product over a place with the best support in the world and a BAD product that costs WAY too much as opposed to its horrid performance. I certainly hope this stops someone from purchasing this and wasting their money. I only leave reviews on things that are life changing or so horrible, I actually feel guilty I don’t have a way to get my money back. Pick another thermal printer from your choices here – I won’t get specific but don’t know of one or two, in the same price range or lower, that would elicit at least 4 stars overall.

I use this to print receipts in the field. It perfect, space saving. Just make sure you load the paper right and shield it from the sun. Easy to use once I read all the scan me boxes. No ink needed. Functions as a simple printer black and white.

I need to print maybe six times in a year. Ink jets get clogged and dry and laser printers require toner and they all take up a lot of space. This printer sounded like just what I needed and I’m happy to say it’s going to work out just fine for me. No more tiny LCD screens that are so hard for me to see. This little device sits in its pouch on a shelf until I need it then I simply place it wherever is convenient and turn it on. The app was easy to use. The only thing I was unable to print was an iOS Notes document, that format was not recognized. But when I copied it and pasted it in a Pages new document then exported it to the printer app as a PDF file it was printed. Love it.

What is not to like this will change your life no bully printer no ink can connect to yr phone pc tablet I even connected to my smart web tv and the app is amazing has templates and everything it may only be in black and white but on the fly this is so amazing also you can print contracts on the fly if you do tattoo art you can use transfer paper and print your tattoos out to do you can do bill of sales if you do online selling or at a swap meet I had this a few days and it’s already paid for itself it’s light weight it comes with a carry case it’s only cloth but hey who cares when it weighs less then a value meal at McDonald’s 😂 the battery has a gd charge it comes packaged great it shipped next day from NiceShine customer support is amazing if needed I didn’t but I actually used it just to write the review only thing is you do need special paper due to it being a thermal printer but the company also sells it and sells the tattoo paper only thing is the paper is a tad big or maybe it was me but nothing a pair of scissors can’t fix for the mobility and the craftsmanship you can’t beat it don’t get fooled and buy on Temu or anywhere NiceShine is the way to go I was not paid to do this review I just love it I’m definitely trying out more products from this company 5 stars

If, like me, you have ever needed to print something but you weren’t at home, this printer might come in handy. I sometimes find myself at a friends, and they don’t have a printer, or perhaps they do, but it’s impossible to print to it from my iPhone. Well this printer can save you. It’s even small enough to take when you travel. It came with a very nice little travel pouch for easy storage, and with a quality USB-C to USB-C connector as well as a nice adapter connector to allow you to connect to USB-A if needed for charging. I was pleasantly surprised with the easy to follow quick start on the label right on the printer, although it has a more extensive paper guide as well. After downloading their app, it walks you through setup, which is a breeze. Then, I was pleasantly surprised that the app allows you access to graphics and things the ladies will love to make creative stuff. They thoughtfully include a bit of thermal paper to get you started. In addition to paper, you can order sticker paper to print graphics and make endless sitckers. A plus for the kids. On a printer like this, loading paper can be tricky, but it was surprisingly easy to get it to feed well. They do offer continuous paper to eliminate having to feed it sheet by sheet, if you do a lot of printing, or just have it a home. Definately built well, and will last. Might be handy for a student that needs to print out some notes too. If you are looking for a good thermal printer, where you don’t have to spend a fortune on ink (it requires none), I recommend this one.

This is a printer that I was asked to review. It was very simple to use to print from my iphone. There’s an app to download and the instructions are clear. It comes with a few sheets of paper. It would be a very nice size to travel with, and would be really handy for printing business documents on the go. The first print is a stock graphic and it printed very clearly. It’s very simple and straightforward to load the paper. There are also a number of other graphics that you can use on the app. The app has a subscription available at a reasonable cost, but I believe you can use the basic functions without the subscription.The printer does not weigh much at all and would be easy to but in a briefcase or bag. It charges quickly with the provided USB cable.I was unable to connect the printer to my particular computer, as I don’t have the proper outlet for the provided cable. There is a long power cable, and the short one to connect to a computer as shown in the photo. A printer driver is available on the phomeno website, and is easy to install.I recommend this printer, especially for travel purposes! Their customer service is top notch as well.

I honestly did not hold out much hope for this little printer…after all it is a thermal printer and the past has shown that the printing fades eventually. I’m not sure if that will happen or not has I’ve only had it a week or so. However I do have to say that overall the printer is very easy to use. It connected to the App for printing without any problem and you could even find items on the app to print and run tests. The printing for text and solid black if very crisp and clear. However, I will say that it’s not that great for printing photos.I defiantly plan on using this little printer on occasion. I can see where it will be very helpful when traveling, or working remotely from a coffee shop, etc.I am very curious to see how the printing on the thermal paper holds up.

Great for fast and easy printing. The Bluetooth connection was not difficult to set up. I had the app for another product so this printer popped up while connecting. I was able to test the printer with the sample sheets of paper included. There were no issues. The “not printing side” faces up as you feed the paper in. The quality of the the print is decent but not sharp for all of the text. The paper is also really thin.Definitely does not replace a full printer but works great for fast printing on the go!

It works, I really love this light weight printer,I had no issues hooking it right up to my andriod phone,I had my first print with in minutes this Is really a game changer I will be keeping this printer in the car as I bought it to print out receipts for my customers as I travel but I’ve thought of some many other uses – how great will it be to have a hotel print out to look at while in route? This is a great wireless printer if you’re on the go or just have a page to print when you’re in a hurry. The printer itself came with several sheets of paper, but this set I bought actually included a pack of US Letter-sized paper as well, making it a good value for the price.Because this isn’t the first printer I’ve purchased by this brand, I already had the app on my phone so setup was very easy–I just searched for the new printer once it was charged (which didn’t take very long).The only challenge I had was figuring out which way the paper goes in. The diagram on top of the printer says “This side should face up.” The paper says “This side is not printing side.” I didn’t understand that to mean that the thermal paper (which can only be printed on one side) needs to be fed into the printer face down, as it prints on the bottom side of the paper, so the words on the paper need to be facing up when you feed it into the printer.This printer even came with a storage bag with a drawstring to prevent it from getting dusty. However, I would love the option of having a hard case to buy or that comes with it so it can be protected while taking it on the go, since I definitely plan on taking this places with me.Overall, a great little printer at an affordable price.

Overall if you are looking for a simple thermal printer for travel I would recommend this product.This was my first time using a thermal printer like this and must say it is very compact and portable. It does need special thermal paper (will not work with standard copy paper) but I knew this and it was not an issue. I don’t think this would be a full printer replacement for me, needing special paper and needing to manually feed each piece of paper (no paper feeder tray) would make printing larger documents quite tedious. But given its compact size it would be a great printer to carry when traveling if you need the ability to print of a few pages now and then.It’s a simple black and white printing with decent resolution for documents, the shading for grays is acceptable but not photo quality (more or less what I expected for a thermal printer). The ability to print from my android phone is a great feature considering the portability of this printer. The app I needed to use was a little clunky but I was able to send the documents I wanted to print to the app and subsequently the printer without issues and it got the job done.Printing on my Windows PC was simple and easy, just connect the printer, turn it on and use it like I would any other printer. The appropriate drivers were automatically installed and I was up and ready to print in a minute or less.

My desktop computer and printer is currently in storage, but sometimes I need to print out something that cant wait until I get into work… Is a thermal printer “practical”? Not really. But is it convenient? Absolutely. No, it’s not going to print out intricate documents meant for longevity. But for what I need, it works really well. I also work on the go sometimes and it is portable enough that it is easy to just throw in my computer bag. Since it is rechargeable, I don’t have to worry about schlepping cords around with me either. As you can tell from the video, it is not quiet and it does require special paper (which means an added expense and no double sided printing) BUT depending on what your expectations are, the pros outweight the cons.

I love anything that makes my life easier! These inkless printers are definitely one of those things, and this one that prints a full size sheet is perfect for quickly printing out one of my daughter’s worksheets that she can work on. It also will keep her busy in a pinch when I have a call or need to get something done; I can print out a design or coloring sheet and she’ll sit there doing art for quite some time! It also fits perfectly in my bag so I can bring it on the go, which means homeschooling doesn’t have to be done at home. I can print stuff at the park and not worry about remembering all of our work.

This printer is so convenient if you have printing needs especially when you are not stationary. It’s portable and comes with it’s very on soft velvety carrying case. It’s so useful for work, home, school, or fun activities and you can take it anywhere! This is absolutely my new favorite item! It’s very easy to load, I actually loaded the paper with one hand and it has a good print quality, it also prints your documents fast. I have bought so much ink for my printer and barely used it. I actually dreaded it every time I needed to print something. This printer is awesome! It prints anything! I either save my documents to my local files or my pictures. It’s compact and convenient and small enough to carry around. Now my husband and sons ask me to print for them all the time. You can print shipping labels, coloring pages for little ones, school work, anything that needs a signature, you name it. I’m glad someone came up with this idea!! I love it!!

This Phomemo printer is fantastic! My standalone LaserJet and thermal printers are normally upstairs in my office, and it’s a pain to have to keep running up and downstairs to get printed items. Problem now solved. I am especially limited in using stairs at the moment having recently had surgery, so it was awesome being able to quickly take this printer out of the box and immediately connect to it to print what I needed. The thermal printer came with everything one would need to use the printer— usb to UsbC charging cable, a PC adapter tool, a small sample pack of thermal printer paper, and a very sleek and stylish drawstring bag to keep your printer in when you’re not using so that it does not get scratched or damaged. This printer connects to the Phomemo app in the Apple Store. I use other Phomemo Label printers so I had the app ready to go. I was also able to go directly from the flyer. I wanted to print into the Phomemo app without having to import anything. Once in the app, and once I had, my printer turned on, I was able to connect by way of Bluetooth with no issues. Truthfully, the hardest part was just making sure that I put the printer paper on the right side up, but thankfully it comes with text on the wrong side so you know which side is which. This printer just might be my new favorite go to gift for students in my family that need to print something on the go. I am about to go purchase some more thermal paper and I’m curious to also look into the tattoo paper that you can also load into this product.Bravo Phomemo!

We do not have a computer setup or printer at home, we pretty much run our small business on our ipad and phone. If I needed something printed it was always a hassle to ask my husband to do it at his office which he sometimes forgot. I dont need things printed often, only once a month or so. Like something I needed my neighbour sign or some notes to take to a doctors appointment. Those are the two first things I used this printer for and it worked great! No ink required or any fancy setup, just sent it right from my phone. The one thing was that the side of the paper got crinkled a little bit, so make sure to feed the paper perfectly in the middle. Also the ink is a little spotty looking on the paper, so if you want a pristine document thats presentable to important people like a resume, this is probably not your product. But to get stuff on paper quick with convenience and without any hassle, I would definitely recommend this product.

This is great to keep in your vehicle if you have a profession that requires occasional or frequent printing. No ink, no big power cords, no hassle. It prints quickly and nicely and it’s rechargeable. The app to control it with your phone is super easy and walks you through loading the paper. It’s very intuitive. You can also connect it with a computer. This would be great for someone who loves to color. A busy mom who can easily and quickly print out extra coloring pages for their child(ren). It can even fit inside a large purse. The carrying case that it comes with is super soft and nice. After playing with the printing app more I wish I could rate this even higher. There are so many great options you can print, including useful things like anatomy, lists and more.

Right out of the box, this great little printer exceeded my expectations.I had it up and running in less than 10 min, even though I didn’t realize I had to download a different app from the one I already have installed for my other Phomemo printers (duh) AND I kept loading the paper in upside down… Sheesh, for whatever reason, my brain just really wanted the paper to go in the other way, despite each page being printed with a ‘this side up’ message on it… Go ahead and roll your eyes, I earned it.So I first tried printing a color email newsletter I received, and it turned out quite good. Not as good as a desktop printer of course (which wouldn’t be a fair comparison) but actually better than I had expected. The slight pixelation seen is probably bcs the resolution of a color email is relatively low compared to a proper document or photo.Next I tried out the AI image generator function which is included in the app. I selected a cartoon cat, and added ‘Asian’ to see if it would spit out a Siamese cat or something similar. Well, the beautiful young girl you see in the attached was what the AI produced – really cool, not that it makes any sense, but maybe I wasn’t doing it right. Anyway, I attached a color screen-shot of the AI image and then what the printer produced when I sent it to print. I’m really impressed with the image print resolution here, so obviously the printer’s output will be a factor of the original image or document quality. Fair.While this printer will never replace your desktop printer, it is an excellent tool for anyone who needs to print documents on-the-fly, for business, school, or pleasure. Super easy to use, fast printing, and a cute carrying case.

I already had the Phomemo’s T02… my kids and I have used it to make stickers, labels, cards for friends, notes for school projects etc. We LOVE it!! So when I found myself without a home printer this year, I wondered about their standard paper size version. It’s been GREAT! The quality of printing reminds me of our laser printer. It connects easily with my phone. The set up was done in less than a minute (I already had the Phomemo app installed. I have always found the app easy to work with, which is a relief to this not-so-techie mom). I’m loving how small it is (a minimalist’s dream 😊 )AND how I don’t have to mess with ink! I bought the single sheets of printer paper BUT I’ll probably try the folded ones next time so I don’t have to feed in the paper one sheet at a time.

This is a great printer for those times you need a hard copy of a receipt or report and you don’t have access to a full-sized printer. Overall I would recommend this printer.I use a Phomemo label printer regularly and am just as pleased with this printer and the label printer. The printed output has good resolution for text documents; the shades of gray for images are reasonably acceptable buy not photo grade but that was not unexpected with this type of printer. If you’re only including a small graphic/log in your document, it will produce print out that meets the need.The quality of the printer is very good – a rugged little device. The opening buttons which allow paper release and head cleaning have a nice feels without any any is them.If the printer has any downside it’s that the thermal paper used is a little on the high side on a per print basis – somewhere in the 15 to 20 cent range depending on what brand you purchase and how many sheets per box. The printer comes with five sheets to get you started,Making the connection to you computer, laptop, or phone is easy and straightforward. The necessary cable are include for hard connection but you find the Bluetooth just as easy to use with your phone. The printing app is nicely designed and easy to use.Overall I give it 5 stars and recommend it if you need a quality, portable printer.

I got this for use with my business. I often go onsite to negotiate with my customers and make custom agreements, previously I would create a document on my laptop and email them to sign and return later o try and print there if possible. I got this because I like the idea of the portability and flexibility it offered. This is easy to carry in my bag with a tablet and I can create and print documents and get signed anywhere, really made my life so easy. The printer itself is very simple to use and after I installed the app on my tablet it recognized the printer right away. I easily setup a new standard paper template with all my standard agreement details. I can easily make a copy and modify as necessary and print. The printer is lightweight and prints quickly and quietly. Very versatile. I am pleased and would highly recommend it.

I am in love with this printer. It’s portable and comes with a protection sleeve to protect from dust/scratches. I also appreciated that it also came with some paper as well.I adore how easy it is to connect to the app and print, even with the files. It’s not a hassle at all to pull up any document to print. Instructions are very clear I believe, very thorough. Print quality is great for a portable Bluetooth printer of this size. I don’t have any complaints due to ease of connection and printing. Suits my needs for education and work tasks !

This was much better than I was expecting the set up was super easy on both my phone and computer print quality is quite nice the I even called customer service a few times to get some clarification on things and they were great the only thing I think might be an issue going forward is you do have to manually insert each page and if you don’t get it perfectly straight one of the sides gets crumpled a little and your print is slanted an auto straiting feature would be a great inclusion

i really like this compact printer, it is awesome to have an option to print regular size documents on the go. the only cons for me are that it is a little on the loud side and i wish that it used regular paper instead of the thermal paper but obviously the technology does not lend itself to that option yet. overall, very happy with the product. it also connected to my computer and my phone very easily, very user friendly

I love that it’s small and portable, but getting it to connect and print is difficult. The printing is not very good quality when you can get it to print. What’s even worse is that you have to use the special paper (which is soooo flimsy) and not just regular copy paper. However, overall, for it’s travel convenience and price, it’s a keeper for business usage.

I didn’t have May but they just wanted to check in on how my product was doing. I used it the first day it came in, printed shipping labels and my daughter’s essay for school. This was a great purchase especially for a small home with little to no surface space. I have a printer without all the hassle and bulk.

I’m a Phomemo fan! I like the quick connectivity and the portability of this printer. I teach afterschool so this comes in handy when I need some extra copies for walk in students. It’s a little tricky to get the paper aligned just right so it doesn’t crumble. It prints clearly, my only wish is that the paper quality can match basic paper. The paper is so flimsy and while I know the print will last I’m saddened that it’s sooooo delicate.

The product looks/feels decent and seems to function fine. My two issues are1. The app is spammy. I was hoping for something clean but instead it’s cluttered with functionality some may enjoy playing around with but I think most people won’t use.2. The large sticker on the product does not come off cleanly. I spent 30 minutes trying to get it off and it looks terrible – nothing like what it looks in the photo. I wish products in general didn’t come with stickers pre-placed. They are almost always ugly and rarely come off cleanly.

Great little portable printer! I downloaded the app and was able to connect the printer and print files on my phone in 2 minutes. This would be great for someone preparing quotes on the go, receipts at a festival, or needing to print from the car. Print quality is good and pretty quick. Found a protective case on NiceShine for $10. Only drawback is that the thermal paper is kind of thin and more expensive than normal paper.

I tested the connection using the Phomemo app, and it worked smoothly without any issues. However, the box included sample thermal paper that was creased, and I noticed that the thermal “ink” tends to smear around those creased areas. Other than that, the quality of the print is pretty good. I wouldn’t create a whole painting on it due to the print only being semi-permanent. Over time the ink will fade due to UV, heat, or how it’s been stored.Since my box did not come with a USB, I had to go to their website to install the driver. It did take me awhile to realize that it doesn’t turn on automatically when plugged in. You do have to hold the power button to turn it on and it will connect via Computer. After it’s connected, it will read that you have an available printer to use. Printing works well on the computer and had no issues whatsoever.The box only came with 10pc of sample paper and you would need to invest in purchasing thermal paper, which is about $0.12/p if you purchase one from NiceShine. You can tell which side based on the material. The “Print” side feels more glossy and soft while the side facing up is more matte. If you rub the two sides together you can feel it.Overall, I feel like it is pretty useful if you are in a hurry and need to print something very quickly. I would say to not use it to store important information that needs to be printed. I would just a laser or inkjet. Just remember that thermal ink has a shelf life of about 3 years.

I do not write a lot of reviews on here, but I hope this will prevent someone else from experiencing why I did. I will be returning this printer. The thermal paper it came with was wrinkled and just shoved in the box. Now that could be totally not their fault and I ordered some other printer paper so it was okay.When it came time to use the printer I could not get it to consistently print normal pages. I got a lot of blanks and a lot of ripped up paper. You have to go onto their site if you want to get the printer to work with your computer and download the driver this website doesn’t work in all browsers and I had to figure that out for myself. I went through a lot of work to get mediocre results. The first 5 prints didn’t turn out well and somehow the words came out crooked on the one page that didn’t get crumpled. Very unsatisfying.

I bought this printer to have on the go and its easy to use and does a great job but there are a few things to know about it before you buy. The print speed is not turtle slow but its not rabbit fast either. Also you cannot use regular paper with it you must buy thermal paper. It prints perfectly but if you ever used thermal paper you know its thinner than regular printing paper. I think its a great item for the money and suits my needs fine. Its also pretty much plug and play.
