My child absolutely loves this drawing robot! It’s a great way to keep them entertained and engaged while learning some basic drawing skills. The concept is fun, and it’s easy for kids to use.However, there are some clear drawbacks. The instructions and some of the language on the device aren’t always in English, which can be confusing at times. It’s also obvious that the product is made in China, with some minor quality and translation issues. While it’s enjoyable for my kid, these details could definitely be improved.

I ordered this for my granddaughter who really enjoys drawing and is always looking up tutorials. The robot works as depicted and my granddaughter enjoys replicating the pictures. The only drawback is that the translation is not the greatest. However, it does provide hours of entertainment and my granddaughter has learned new drawing skills while using it.

Ok a great product for kids 4+ the only issue is that the cards sometimes don’t match the picture it draws. My daughter will say “mom, my octo-robot is confused again” every time it messes up. See pictures

If your little one loves coloring but doesn’t always like to make their own picture, this is a fantastic option! Not only will it show them how to draw but then they can also use what the robot drew to try out the brand new colored pencils and crayons they got for [insert holiday here]The cards do have a specific way they have to go in for the robot to function. It also plays music, which was not expected. There is likely a way to turn this off, but we didn’t look very deepHopefully this will bring a lot of entertainment in the future!

This drawing robot is pretty awesome! The voice is pleasant and there’s music as it draws, which can be turned off. It comes with a bunch of cards of different pictures it draws, though sometimes the card needs to be inserted a couple times for it to pick the right picture. The drawing quality is good, it looks like the picture on the card. It comes with four drawing markers for the robot and a pack of colorful markers to color the drawings in. It seems a bit expensive for what it is, but my kids are enjoying it.

Cute concept, fast and easy set up but “card reader” not always accurate. Possible user error (if card gets slightly bent or there is a pen mark or any blemish near the “code” at bottom) robot will draw something completely different than what is printed on card. Again, possible user error. Also many of the cards are of items – food, misc- that many children in the US are not familiar with like Asian products, food items, vegetation, and terms for different vehicle types, etc). NOT A BAD THING, just an observation. I like the step by step drawing process, as opposed to a digital type pixel/line by line printing process. Wish you could pause it between steps to allow child to draw right next to robot, step by step.

The concept of this game is great, and it can be a lot of fun, but my biggest frustration is that it doesn’t always draw what the card says it’s going to. For example, one card said “tractor,” but the game drew a bowl of noodles instead—definitely not what we were expecting! Sometimes the drawings are spot on, but other times they’re way off, making it confusing and frustrating. It takes away from the experience when you’re expecting one thing and getting something totally different. Still, it’s entertaining when it works correctly, so it’s not a total miss—just wish it were more consistent!

I ordered this for my 8-year-old. She loves to draw, and is fascinated by STEM toys. I figured that she would get a kick out of a drawing robot.I feel like this is more of a novelty. I’m not sure what it really teaches a child. The robot is supposed to draw whatever the programmed card has on it. We did find that this is not 100% accurate. Sometimes the robot would draw other random things, so clearly there was some programming issues. It’s neat to watch, but the appeal does wear out pretty quickly. It sort of reminds me of a simple Cricut machine for kids, which obviously draws instead of cuts.This is a fun concept, but the appeal wears off pretty fast. It definitely amused my daughter initially, but she hasn’t reached for it since. The program is also not perfect with it, and could use some help.

My 5 yo loves it!! Although it did draw the wrong thing a couple times,like when it was supposed to draw a dumpling but drew a bowl of noodles. Over all it’s entertaining and super cute.

Cards that came with machine are not coded correctly. An automobile card has the robot draw noodles. A noodle card has robot draw a palm tree. As a tool to help kids draw this item is disappointing.

This is such a cool toy! Every now and then it draws the wrong thing, but if you re-set it it works fine. You also have to be very careful not to bump it or the paper so that it draws the item correctly.

My son is on 4.5yo but I’ve seen he is inclined to arts, he is specifically into drawings, colorings. Im pretty sure this painting robot will help him step up. Very interesting and educational. Very cool. My son will learn techniques how to draw certain object/thing. This will serve as a guide or like a teacher. He can watch and follow. Got it on sale!

It works great! It has great pressure to draw on different types of paper, including sticker sheets. So nice that it comes with 4 black markers to interchange between drawings. The colored markers are wet, but dry quickly. The drawing instructions on the back of each card are easy to follow to replicate the pictures on your own. The sounds and songs are adorable, but so glad that it has a mute feature. We have enjoyed this little robot!

My daughter loves to do arts/crafts and color & this was the PERFECT Christmas gift. It comes with SO many cards/items for it to draw. I thought it had a glitch because sometimes it would redraw items after the card had been changed, but I realized we had been putting the cards in backwards. She is 4 and knows how to work it all by herself. My only complaint is that it does sing while drawing and there is no volume button to turn it down
