I bought this scale as a replacement to one that I accidentally obliterated when I hit it on my bathroom sink. I knew I wanted a smart scale, or at least one that would give me more information than merely my weight, since menopause has changed the rules of everything. Of course this scale has an app, like most these days. I find that the UI is pretty straightforward and easy to use, and connecting the scale to my phone was incredibly simple. I was also able to connect the data from the scale to my Apple Health app, seamlessly, so I have the most current info available whenever I need to access it.In order to get the most information that the scale can provide, your feet need to be damp when you step on the silver contacts. And, speaking of information, this scale will give you all of it. It definitely provided more data about my body than I wanted to confront during that initial use, but once I got over the shock of realizing how decrepit I’ve become, the stat nerd in me was more than intrigued.As far as aesthetics go, the scale is super slim and fits easily into small spaces, so it works for small bathrooms or wherever you need it. I also love that “Charles” (I named my scale) plays music that either celebrates the loss or shames the gain. It’s best to have a good sense of humor, because, “waa, waa, waa, waaaah!” will humble you after a weekend of overindulgence.

I bought this for body fat % and it has a lot of other measurements that are interesting but I don’t get much value out of them. The VeSync app was easy to set up and it syncs Weight & Body Fat % with Google Health Connect on my phone which then syncs with the MacroFactor app. So that’s cool I don’t have to go manually enter it there. It does appear you have to open the VeSync app on your phone first before weighing yourself so it will connect and sync.I did already have an Etekcity digital scale previously and for the first week I weighed myself each morning on both and the older scale was consistently 0.2-0.6lbs higher in weight. Not sure how I feel about that. Technically, switching scales caused me to “lose some weight”.Also this scale allows you to set an “athlete mode” in your user profile and supposedly it changes the body fat calculation if you have higher than typical muscle mass. I am a weightlifter, but naturally thin, and I initially turned athlete mode on and I felt the body fat % was lower than what I expected to be at, but it kept reporting it consistently at least. I later turned athlete mode off and suddenly my body fat % went up about 5% higher. This felt a little higher than expected, I would have guessed I am in between the 2 calculations. Don’t know which to go with, the instructions and forums don’t provide any more detail on this.

First thing I would like to say, is I love love love the look of this scale. It’s so modern looking. My second love would be the app that comes along with the scale it is so helpful. It does not only help you keep track of your weight. It breaks it down for you in several different categories, from bone mass all the way to vascular fat and more. It also has a lot of different features in the app that will help you on a successful weight loss journey. Did I mention it’s also free and reliable no monthly payments. The scales, brightness and accuracy is top-notch. The reason why I say this is I was weighing myself in a T-shirt and shorts, and it felt like my weight wasn’t going anywhere. Though one day, I decided to weigh myself without anything on after bathing later on that day, and it was like I had lost a pound in a few points throughout the day. So when I say, accuracy is on point, I mean, it weighs everything. lol 😂🤦🏾♀️It stores easily because of its sleek and lightweight design (l store mine in between the toilet, and the sink which is a very narrow space.)Even though it’s glass, the glass is very durable. I think it’s some type of tempered glass. The reason I say this is because I have stone tiles in my bathroom and I dropped it when I first took it out the box and it did not have one scratch nor did it chip or break, so I would say all in all the durability is very reliable.

This is the best $20 I ever spent! I had an old scale from this brand that I paid the same amount for that I had for 8 years—so I knew I trusted the brand. My old scale still works, just wanted a smart scale. This thing was easy to connect and the app is amazing! I love this scale! It weighs everything, and because I am able to keep track it has inspired me to monitor my eating habits, and already lost 5 pounds shed by watching what I eat. Pretty accurate and extremely easy to use. I love the app system. My partner originally bought me the food scale and then I found out they had even more devices so I chose to go with this body scale to help track my efforts. It’s only about .5 lbs off from the doctors office which makes tracking my weight much easier because I was previously just weighing in at the doctors. You can also pair it with your smart watch and Alexa! I store it when not using it and it’s very slim. Absolutely love it. So far so good. The app wasn’t what i thought it was. I was hoping more of a dieter’s app with the scale. But you can’t complain. My iso ipad has to be next to it to input info on the app. You can set music tones when you gain, loose and stand still with weight. For some reason when i gain weight it will play the no change in weight tune. Maybe it’s just a fluke. Might need to change the tune then change back to see if it resets. My husband loves it. Our older scale would only stop weighing if you stood perfectly still. This one takes a couple secs for your results and if you have your app on it will sync to it. I wear a Fitbit that will sync to it as well. I have no qualms right now. Just trying to drop weight.

Using the app allows you to log weight, BMI, body fat, visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, metabolic age, body water, skeletal muscle, protein, fat free body weight, bone mass, muscle mass, and BMR. The app has a social media type feature that allows you to connect with, chat with, follow, and friend other users. It also has a way to track your food and water intake by scanning labels or manual input. To top it off it also has a nutrition area that helps you follow many different types of diets and recommends food to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on a diet or on how much weight you’d like to lose. If you don’t like one of the food items it picks for you, you can have it replace just that item. The app is truly remarkable.

I have only had this for a short time but so far so good. The scale is easy enough to use. I added the app and with an easy bluetooth connection it automatically enters my weight. It also has a great feature with a “Food tracker”. The only drawback with the app is that it is a but cumbersome to enter information and especially edit mistakes. I ended up Googling for help a couple of times, but unfortunately the information online and in the manual does not match up with how you actually do it. Thanks to having decades of app and tech experience I managed to figure it out myself but it was a bit testing my mental capacity. Had the app been better, I’d given this a 5. But as long as the app is only partially for the scale and within that section as these kind of unfriendly user-input issues I will give it 4. It is a weak for but a 4.

I deducted a star because the app uses Bluetooth to talk to the scale and that doesn’t work most of the time. Also, I can’t figure out a way to add a second person with their own profile. My husband, Don, would like to know his weight and body fat percentage, but there is no way to let the scale know that he is not a woman with my birthdate.

The scale is smaller than what we expected since we have 2 other but it’s fine. Not sure how accurate it is as we compared it using 20 lb hand weights to our 2 other scales and when using less than 50 lbs, all 3 scales were within 2/10 of each other, but body weight, it’s at least 1/2 lb – 3/4 lb higher than the other scales and I only weigh 70 lbs. my husband weighs 185 so it was off by close to 1.5 lbs.I guess as long as only 1 scale is used you can gather consistent data. I like the app! No more manual entries to my Apple Watch and the scale captures body fat etc.

Cheap and does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and well at that.I was in a fitness contest and used two separate InBody scanners throughout the contest.I didn’t feel like they were accurate. I’m getting really fit and can see a lot of muscular definition as well as my upper abs, but the InBody showed that I was 12% body fat. Anybody who does fitness knows 12% your abs should have abs. My lower abs are not defined to what a 12% BF would expect. I figured I was between 18 to 20% Just knowing my body and build. This scale had me at around 19.7. As soon as the competition ended, did the scale composition and it had me at the mention 19.7% body fat with 150.7 pounds of lean muscle.Later, the same day I went in did a DEXA as they are generally considered much more accurate than either of the scanners I used, and I assumed than the scale.This little $20 scale was about 0.5% away from the accuracy of the DEXA on body fat percentage as well as the muscle mass being 150.9 on the DEXA and 150.7 on this scale. Much cheaper than a DEXA and almost spot on as compared to InBody scans.I was honestly shocked that that was the case, but it’s what it showed. Now, knowing the accuracy of this little scale when I truly doubted it until I did a DEXA, I’d certainly buy it again if needed.

Literally my best weight lost tool. Honestly seems obvious that having a scale would help you lose wight but this literally made me take my weight loss goals seriously. It connects seamlessly to your phone and the Vesync app (the app is free btw) which is extremely powerful. You can track all sorts of different health metrics in the app and see your progress overtime. It gives you all the tools to start losing weight and allows for creating good routines. Appearance wise the scale is small and sleek and looks good. Fits well in my fairly small bathroom and I use it every day. Would recommend if you have a basic scale right now or you just want a new scale.

This scale is quite possibly the best scale I ever used. It’s wide I have size 13 feet and both fit comfortably on the scale. It’s not thick to where it’s too bulky, but it’s thick enough that it feels like it can support the listed weight easily. The LEDs on the screen are bright you can read it clearly at any time of day. It looks sleek, and premium. And even though it’s made of glass, it just feels like a tank. It’s extremely durable. Like I said it’s the best one I’ve ever used. I just came back from the doctor’s office and it’s incredibly accurate with its readings, and it syncs flawlessly with my iPhone . This is by far the best one I’ve ever used and it’s rechargeable so no AAA batteries that can’t be overlooked.

I’ve only had it for almost a week so far, but it’s been really cool. It has a lot of features for a small price. I haven’t had any glitches or connectivity issues yet and the smart information has been as accurate as it can be which is cool to see such info on yourself. It’s extremely lightweight and for me, I prefer to keep it in the box when not in use, just to ensure it doesn’t get hit or damaged. The functionality is simple and easy to use/understand. I do have to remind myself to bring my phone and have my Bluetooth before I step to weigh (when I want my info documented in the app, since this is my first time using a smart scale. I ordered this to replace an old one. I had serious doubts about the quality because of the cheap price, boy was I wrong. This thing is top-notch works exceptionally well and the best part. It actually track your weight through an app on your cell phone. The readouts on the scale are vibrant and easy to read. This scale is wonderful! After a recent trip to the doctor’s office, I was pleased to find that the scale reading was exactly the same. It features a modern design and is sturdy enough to withstand frequent use. The non-slip surface is great for stepping on and off, and the display is easy to read even with my glasses off. One thing to note is that once you step on, you only have a brief moment to stabilize before it registers your weight, which then disappears for a second before reappearing once you step off.Because it is weighty, it seems built to endure over time, unlike many plastic scales on the market. I like this scale much more than my old one, which was less reliable and sensitive if I wasn’t perfectly balanced between both feet. It also cleans easily and doesn’t seem to collect dust like some scales do. Overall, it’s not a big deal to adjust to the reading process once you get used to it!

I have been using this for over a year and half. Still going strong, just had to replace the batteries. There are recipes Right there for you already you can make your own meal plan and just a bunch of different things you can track and also you can sync it to your Samsung Health app as well and The two apps will transfer data to each other Giving you even more biometrics and tracking data. Have not had this scale for very long but it seems to be working good. The one negative thing, in order to use the app, you have to open the app and reconnect each time for the weight to be recorded/saved. Bonus is the app can be used as a fitness tracker, calorie tracker and even give you a meal suggestion plan with no additional cost.

No problems with shifting weight, if you weigh in step off and weigh in again, it will show the same weight. Didn’t know scales were so inexpensive now and was going to pay this much anyway so got this biometric deluxe model and it’s been working great and the black looks awesome never any problems with blue tooth. It will update and ask me if I want to or delay till next time. It recharges fast and no worries about buying batteries. No wet feet. It is slippery. But biometrics need bare feet.

Honestly, this is an outright shocking value. I purchased the white scale that shows the white digits. It’s clean and very light weight. The app that it comes with is truly remarkable. Not only does it show advanced body metrics, it also allows you to create goals and track your progress with line graphs. It lets you easily switch user profiles if you want to track multiple peoples progress in the household. You can also create meal plans and track food that you are eating. This is the only scale I’ve purchased in this price range, but I cannot imagine there being a better one for this price. Got this Etekcity scale almost 2 months ago and overall I’m happy with it. The app is easy to use and I like seeing all the extra stats like body fat and muscle mass. Looks nice in my living room too!Only weird thing is it consistently shows me about a pound heavier than my old digital scale. Not a huge deal but something to know if you’re counting every pound.The readings are at least consistent day to day so I can still track if I’m gaining or losing. For the price, it’s a solid buy, just mentally subtract a pound when you step on it lol. Would recommend if you want more than just weight measurements.

Very cool scale! I bought it because I wanted a scale that would sync to my Samsung Health app. Etekcity advertised that their scale would & as advertised, it works with my Samsung app like a charm. It’s easy to set up & syncs well with my Samsung Health app which makes it easy for me to keep track of my progress. The Bluetooth in the scale connects to the Vesync app very fast once you have the app open & you step on the scale. I also love how it has a feature to weigh my furbabies. Both my boys have their own profile in the app & I can keep track of them there when need be. All in all, l love my scale & happy to have made the purchase.

I bought the blue one (kind of a jeans blue) and it goes perfectly in my bathroom.I like seeing what I need to via the app rather than the scale. Really nice scale. I got the white one to match our bathroom and it looks so much nicer than our old one. It was sturdy on the tile floor and easy to use (just step on it!). Once I downloaded the free app to my phone, I received more info about my health than I thought was possible just by standing on a scale. (Why don’t doctor offices have scales like this?!?) i love how quick the scale is and if you’re buying this, you definitely should get the app. it measures everything! i really thought i was in shape and have little fat but it says i have 15% body fat which makes me feel disappointed because that means i need to work out harder. my goal is to hit 10 to 12 percent which means i have to work out harder and this scale will help me keep my goals because the app will help keep track for you. this scale measure your body by running a current into your body. the best time to measure is when you wake up in the morning after using the bathroom because then you’ll get rid of the water and poop from your system. what a great scale!

I was not expecting this scale to be as accurate because of the price, it was maybe an oz off after weighing many items. When we first saw it, we thought it might not even held up to our weight, but the durability is good. It looks nice and sleek and is the perfect size for our feet. If you are over size 11, you might want to look for a larger scale to get the most accurate weight. The app makes it super easy to use after you get setup and all you need to do is launch the app, make sure you are on your profile and it updates all of your info, weight, bmi, fat and muscles mass, etc. It has been nice to see the progress made each week on weigh-ins and really easy to see info from every time we have used the scale.

I have gone through many different scales on my weight loss journey, this is by far my favorite scale so far. I love the app, it is user friendly, quickly connects, and have not had any issues with it yet. The main screen of the app gives you a graph of your weight journey, while allowing for you to choose different graphs and set goals. It then goes further to show you your current weight vs what the last weight was, your BMI, body fat, fat-free body weight, subq fat, body water, skeletal muscles, muscle mass, BMR, visceral fat, bone mass, protein, and metabolic age. How accurate those figures are I have no idea and I really don’t know how to find out any other way to compare to this scale. The app also offers short reads on fitness, metabolic age, and other topics that change. Features that I haven’t taken advantage of yet include creating a meal plan and logging your diet – I have a separate app that I use for that. The size is much smaller than my other scales which I appreciate. The sleek black and chrome is appealing as well. The digital screen is a perfect size and easy to see. Overall this is an excellent scale/app combo for the price and I would definitely purchase again.
