  1. NiceShine Customer

★★★★★ from NiceShine Customer on July 27, 2018Nifty, multi-use cleanerI bought this steam cleaner because I was looking for something to help clean carpet, but I didn’t want one more appliance taking up space in the closet. I was drawn to this Neat steamer because of its compact size and myriad uses.Pros:- It does a great job of spot-cleaning carpet stains (see before and after attached). Much faster and easier than spray cleaners or soap and water. The heat may be problematic for some kinds of carpet, but if you’re trying to fix a stain, then there’s not much to lose in the first place- I loved being able to go straight from carpet to laminate flooring with the flooring attachments, so fast and easy!- The accessories and attachments feel very solid and durable, a heavyweight plastic that seems like it will last a long time- The tank capacity is voluminous. I read other reviews that complained it was too small, but I spot-cleaned and steamed our dining room and kitchen floors, bathroom toilet and floor, bathroom grout lines (before/after attached) shower floor, 6 large windows (inside and outside), and my kitchen counter — about 2 hours of cleaning — and still had water left over.- The steam has amazing cleaning power. It dissolves sticky messes so easily and doesn’t leave a residue. It removed dirt and dust I didn’t even know were on my kitchen counter.Cons:- The unit handle and hose get very hot with prolonged use. Not hot enough to be painful, but enough to be disconcerting. Just something to be aware of.- The unit tends to drip a bit here and there, either from steam condensation or the ends of attachments. You definitely want to keep a microfiber towel on hand. The one included is wonderful, but to do more than one or two things at a time, I had to use more.Other notes on use:As the manufacturer notes, the steam is very hot. There is not really a trigger lock (just a button that keeps the trigger open), so you may need to exercise extra caution and vigilance when using it, especially if you have little, curious kids at home (like I do!)Overall the machine is very quiet, except if you use it with the trigger attachment in an enclosed space like a small shower. I would definitely recommend using ear protection in that situation.I would give this a B+ or A- for carpet cleaning. To be fair, the manufacturer does not advertise this as a carpet cleaner. It gets spots out very well, but mostly “refreshes” the main carpet if you use the floor attachment. The carpet is definitely cleaner and looks better, but doesn’t feel as clean as if you used a shampooing/wet machine. However, I feel like it is adequate for my needs, and is much easier to use than a shampooing machine. The price point for this machine is highly competitive. It is more affordable than similar machines, and feels like a good deal, given its apparent high quality and cleaning power. That being said, I feel like there is a missed opportunity for built-in storage for the hose and accessories. However, you can easily fix that with a simple storage bin. Overall, it’s a great product, and I’m happy to pay a lower cost on a minimalistic machine and add towels or storage options as I need them.

UPDATE I’ve been using the NEAT for some carpet cleaning jobs (quite a few actually) and it has been great so far.I’ve been able to clean two and three bedroom apartments, and small homes with one fill of the reservoir, and actually haven’t run into a situation where I’ve run out of steam and had to refill, so the runtimes ar actually really good. The amount of steam, and the dryness (?) has been fine for what I’ve used it for, and when you pause to allow it to reheat (which isn’t really necessary, I just do it when I move the unit) it generally is ready again in less than a minute.I’ve been using the floor cleaning pads to clean carpets by putting some elastic hair ties around to keep the pad from being able to move, and it glides smoothly over even thick carpets, and generates plenty of heat (remember that this is a contact steamer, so a few inches away from the nozzle the steam is actually cooled quite a bit, so it’s best to use attachments that keep you in direct contact to what you are cleaning). So below is my initial impression of the NEAT…I purchased this and it arrived in less than a week. It was in one well packed box, and the unboxing experience was fine.I noticed it had a swivelling floor nozzle, unlike the rigid one earlier reviewers had complained about, so it can easily maneuver to get behind and around toilets and other fixtures when cleaning. All of the individual accessories seem to be of high quality and fit well together and overall the NEAT has a nice modern appearance. The white color has a good durable look to it, and it will be easier to keep looking clean than some other brands in this price range with more contours and crevices that will trap grit and look shabby after a while (this is important for me as I use equipment in customers homes, and having your cleaning equipment looking shiny and new lends to your appearance, so hard to keep clean equipment makes more work for me to maintain it).It got to operating temperature in under 8 minutes, and even when used with the trigger lock on maintains adequate temperature and pressure and recovery time is fast enough for me.I used it for floors and carpets and it worked great. On carpets I found the floor pads work best as they simply glide over most carpet. Stubborn carpets where the pad doesn’t glide easily, I simply put velcro straps towards the end of the floor tool around the pad to hold it in place and that fixed the problem (you can easily find double sided velcro in cut to length strips and make the parts you need, as well as use the same velcro in longer lengths to wrap the cord and hose if you don’t want to use the cord wrap under the unit, which I don’t use).I have used it to clean other items, with some success on some, and on other items, I found that steamers aren’t the best option. An old microwave oven that no one had cleaned in about ten years (with old chili and spaghetti sauce etc that had been in place for years) was no match for the steam and everything came loose and could be easily wiped out. But a fiberglass shower that also hadn’t been cleaned in ten years, with a heavy buildup of thick soap scum, and hard water stains didn’t respond too much to steam (and had to be cleaned with hand scrapers). So some things can be cleaned with steam, and in fact are the only way you’d really want to clean them, while some things aren’t worth the time and mess that steamers create for the slow headway you’d make using one. They are good on carpets, and upholstery cleaning, but on hard floors you may want o have a microfiber mop or wet/dry vac because they can leave floors wet. Hot dry steam hitting cool hard floors will cause condensation, and this moisture has to be either accepted as a by product, and you allow the floors to air dry, or you need to deal with the moisture with a mop or some other means. No big deal once you understand how it works.I love the NEAT so far, and Dupray has been a pleasant company to buy from. I have contacted customer service a couple of times, and they were helpful. One call was to ask the PSI of the unit (50 psi), and another was to see if an extension cord could be used ( one rated for 1500 watts, and 12.5 amps @ 110v is acceptable). They respond to by the next day or better, and phone calls are usually immediate, or they will call back within a few hours.Overall I would give this product highest marks in all categories, and Dupray is a pleasant departure from the average to poor customer service that is normal for most outfits these days.If you are in the market for one, and can’t decide between this unit and a competitor, I recommend going with Dupray!

I’m ammending my original review after having done way too much research and experimenting with steamer cleaners.First, No matter which machine you but, they are mostly all made in one of two or three factories. This is made by Techno Vap in Italy. They also make Daimer units. The primary differences between units are pressure, tank size and number and temperature. The higher the pressure a unit produces, the hotter the water gets before it turns to steam. Once you know these facts, it’s really a question of what features you need in order to decide what product to buy. This unit will do everything the $1000+ units will do… It may just take you a bit longer.I bought this having never owned a steamer before and quickly decided I need this more than a vaccum I have a large home with almost 10,000sqft of travertine flooring, six baths and two kitchen areas. Realizing that this tank is very small for the whole house, I still like it for small jobs and I now use it in the guest house so I don’t need to drag the bigger unit over there. The tank on this holds about a half gallon if you bleed it out completely when you fill the tank. Unfortunately, there is no indicator of how much water remains in the tankat any point in time (which is true of most steamers although I don’t really understand the why). With no indication of how much water you have left in the steamer at any given point in time, If you’re doing a big cleaning job, plan to work for about an hour then break when the steam runs out to allow this machine to heat up a fresh tank. If you completely run the tank out before refilling you don’t have to wait for it to cool down before removing the cap… It took a while to figure this out and I’m glad I did! It saves a ton of time if you need to refill it.I know there are a lot of questions about using cleansers with or in these units. Dupray says certain liquids can be run through the machine, however, many professionals reccommend NOT running anything through the machine as it may affect the tank and shorten the life of hte heating element and thus the entire unit. Personally, having tried it both ways, I just don’t see the need. Even doing a commercial style kitchen with this unit, running anything through the machine didn’t make it clean any faster or any better than just water. If you really have something tough, like gum, then you may want to spray something on the area, but it’s really more about the accessory you’re cleaning with than the cleanser.THE IMPORTANCE OF THE ATTACHMENT! One thing I’ve really learned is that these aren’t designed to “mop” a floor clean if it has deep dirt. You’re going to want a brush or detail type attachment to get the dark spots off. Maybe if your grout is sealed you may be able to keep your floors cleaner than I can keep mine, but the floor head is only going to get up surface dirt. However, that doesn’t make this a bad idea at all. Even the small detail brush on this unit will go through grout lines in a snap. Even filthy grout (and mine gets gross fast!) goes much faster than I thought it would. Once I decided to try the brushes on the grout I was shocked by what I could get up. Even some of the excess mud that was used to fill the tumbled travertine and wasn’t removed properly when the house was built ten years ago came off easily! My floors didn’t look this clean when the house was built! We can actually walk around with socks and not get the feet black in an hour! That seriously never happened, even with the cleaners with truck mounted pressure washer units I used to hire every year.Yes, I still wish the cord was longer, but I’ll live with it for how easy this is to move around the room. Just know if you have a room that’s larger than about 12′ you’ll be moving outlets and yes, you need to unwind the entire cord and slide the machine around, but it’s not as big a deal as I thought it was after using it only a couple of times… After having tried many machines, this one REALLY stands out in value.Another consideration is the cost of replacing the brushes. Dupray is pretty reasonable at about $2.90 per head. Additional accessories are also available on their site if you want things like stainless steel brush etc you can also get them at Daimler to fit this model’s “steam lance” (The wand with the small hole at the end that the detail brushes fit over.)It’s size and price are terrific. It’s a plastic body… and I don’t know how long it will last. I’ve used it all day, every day for more than a month now – which in hours is probably more than most residential uses would use it in a year and it’s still working as well as the day I bought it. For the money, if mine past on tomorrow, I’d still be happy with it. Just keep in mind that some of the factors that determine pricing on steamers include the body- plastic on this, the heating element, which is not removable on this, and the tank, aluminum and not stainless on this. Even full, it’s light and it’s not hard to carry. By comparison to similarly priced units the attachments are AWESOME!!! This was a HUGE advantage for this machine! McCulloch makes a unit that costs almost twice as much but the attachments feel MUCH cheaper than this unit! It you use the right attachment, you don’t need to scrub, but steam is hot and the heavy material stays cooler. My granite kitchen island is 15’x22′ and I can put the squeegee on the extension wand and go from one side to the other without ANY difficulty- which for me almost justifies having this unit on hand in itself. PADS: Another thing I really love and can’t overstate the GENIUS of the clip that allows this unit to use almost any towel. I literally have seven different types of microfiber “mop covers” from assorted other failed attempts to find a compact floor cleaner. This is absolutely the best feature this machine offers! The first day I used the machine I went through every pad and towel I had and every one of them worked. The clips are solid, they will hold a towel that is a bit too large, even folded in quarters, and it doesn’t slip as you mop.BOTTOM LINE: You need to know how much you’re willing to spend. If your budget is X, and this fits, you’ll likely find this is the best unit in the price point. Dupray makes more expensive units, as does Daimer and several other companies and it’s really just a question of what features you need in a given price point to be happy with the product. This unit should be able to do anything most residential users could ever want. I would be glad to answer questions.

I bought this mainly for the ability to clean tile grout and somewhat for the mopping function. I was a little disappointed to find out that the grout in my kitchen is actually a natural brown so using this did not really do anything except give me some peace of mind that it was clean.I then tried a few other areas- mainly utilizing the mopping function. Using it as a mop works well but my only issue so far is that with 5 dogs and a LOT of dirt, the pads get so dirty that 3 pads does not cut it even for a small area. Not the Manufacturer’s fault so much as it is mine that I did not think to buy more pads.I wouldn’t go so far as this does extraordinary cleaning for mopping but it does have a few important advantages. The first is that it it cleans without the use of chemicals. What I mean is that it does about the same level of cleaning without chemicals and delivers the same results. There is also a little piece of mind that just about nothing can survive being bombarded by the steam. With traditional mops, you are essentially relying on the chemicals to kill all germs. Do I have proof that it actually does the same level of cleaning? Nothing beyond visual observations and the general understanding is that most organisms cannot survive through a steam bath. Most people might not really care of this feature/advantage but it is actually one of my favorite- The drying time is like 1/4th of that of a traditional mop. I’ve even mopped in my socks before and they have only got a little damp from stepping on the ‘wet’ area whereas if I was doing regular mopping, I’d basically need to pull them off after a few steps and go barefoot the rest of the way.My only complaint is that there is no holder for the various tools and attachments. Might not seem like a big deal but there are a LOT of them and some of them are quite small and get lost easily. One of the most impressive bouts of cleaning I’ve seen with this is that it completely scoured my car’s armrest area near the window. I generally drive with my left arm/elbow braced against the door while holding the steering wheel. This showed on my old 2005 Mazda 3 after a few years and trying to remove the built up dirt/grim on the textured plastic was almost impossible by hand and even with regular tools. I spent about 5 minutes with this steam cleaner with the triangle brush attachment and the cloth over that to pick up the residue. I didn’t really check to see how well it took it off at first because I was skeptical as sometimes you have to wait for it to completely dry to see if it worked. A few days later, I noticed that my armrest area was still 100% clean even after driving it a few times.I wish I had a few days to use this unit on some more stubborn areas but this is all I have been able to use it for so far:Grout – 5/5 works pretty dang wellMopping – 5/5 It is a lot faster and easier than traditional mopsTextured Plastic Surface 5/5 Works really wellCloth Seat(in car) – 4/5 – Did a fairly good job but it would take a lot of work to get any real stains out. I’ve never tried a steam cleaner specific to cleaning cars so I don’t know how it comparesSliding glass door Track – 3/5 – I used it to see if it would more easily remove the grime and grease(lubricant) from the sliding door track but it was just messy. Might have worked better if I spent more time getting the bulk of the goop out first.Really Stubborn Stain on the Carpet – 4/5 – Worked pretty well but required a lot of work and steam. I think it would be best to run over it with a regular steam cleaner if you have one when you are done to pick up some of the residual dirt/grime that was pulled outThings I still want to try:Countertop to get thin layer of grease off the linoleumCleaning some of my (grime, maybe some rust too?)The squeegee attachment for windows

The bad reviews were true, I should of listened. This thing does spray too much water! I mainly bought this for mopping floors with the benefit of doing other things. My first time using this my floors were soaked and wouldn’t dry due to the water on the floor being super cold. The steam didn’t reach super high temperatures enough for the amount of water that it output leaving me to have to wipe the floors with a dry cloth to pick up all the water off the floor. I then proceeded to use the other attachments to spray steam directly since I was curious. I cleans the stove and the window with this attachment. It didn’t really do anything but what I did notice was it was spitting out water every 3rd or 5th time I used it. Then it all made sense on why my floors were super wet. This thing was spitting out water then steam, then eventually water. I then tested the temperature by putting my hands in front of the steamer and I was shocked to find it was not hot at all. It was slightly warm and I was about 6 inches away.I filed a return process and explained the reasoning with the 200 character limit inbox. I get a call the next day from Dupray. They seemed really nice and gave me some tips after explaining my situation. I told the guy I really wanted to like this product and was willing to give the tips he gave me a try.The tips were to not overfill the machine. The tank fits about 53 ounces of water and he said it was best to fill it up 5 ounce less then full so the tank has room.2nd tip he said was to pull the trigger and let the water come out first in a sink or on the floor, then wipe up the water with a dry cloth, then proceed to use.3rd tip was to wait longer for the steamer to heat up. It takes about 8 minutes to heat up the water then the green light will appear to show that it is ready to use. After the green light wait another 2-5 minutes because it can get hotter. Now I tried all these tricks and they did help but it is a big annoyance to do this every time. I only used it 1 more time since the first time with the new tricks but here is the annoyance.First fill up water to maybe 60% since I really don’t need that much water to do what I need it for. However I cant read the water level so I start at 100% then pour out the water. Then I wait for the green light to show up, then time it and wait another 5 minutes. Now it is ready to use, and ready for the most annoying part.Take out the mop attachment, go to the sink and spray out the water until I see steam. Attach the mop attachment back on and then clean the floors. Do this periodically. Now I wouldn’t be as upset as I am now about this product but here my issue. I paid full price for a product that suppose to work the way it is described. I didn’t get a discount for a faulty design. I did recontact Dupray customer service today and tried to work something out with them. I told them I was on the fence of returning the product and is willing to keep it if they were willing to do some type of credit or anything on their end. They said this is how the product works and the water thing is normal due to condensation. Honestly I don’t believe the machine should be spitting out 3-5 ounces of water every time before use.I’m super lazy so I think I’m going to keep it. It does do a fair enough job on cleaning the floors and I do like the design. There are some pros to the machine. However I would not buy this again or recommend this to anyone if I ever needed a steam cleaner. I’m just too lazy to deal with the return and too busy with work to get this all done within the time limit of 2 days. I also procrastinate as well. 150 isn’t a bit deal so for me it isn’t about the money. I wish I could spend a little more and get something of the same design that works that way it was meant too.Now I do want to list some pros so you guys can make your own decision whoever might be reading this. Before I do I just want to add that I haven’t tested the steam and how hot or not hot it gets after the tips, so hopefully that will be better.Pros:The good features are the design. It’s compact and has a very long cord that stores well on the underside. It’s also small so when you store this it fits well in spaces. The length of the mop handle is great. I’m 5”10 and it works good for my height.Pro/con it has a locking feature to keep the steam coming out without having to hold down the button. However the locking feature feels really cheap like it can easily break or get stuck and will be a hassle in the future to get it unstuck. It also outputs steam really really fast when the lock is in place making me have to move super fast to even out the steam so it wont get too wet on the floor. If there were different levels of the amount of steam, this would of been be perfect.I can’t speak on the other attachments due to the fact I rarely used the attachments or haven’t used it at all.All in all the steam cleaner was not too pricey for what it is. I really did like the design and felt like looking at different ones this was probably the best or better design out there. However too many flaws and or hassle to deal with. I would look elsewhere for another steam cleaner. After typing this I think I’m a stop being lazy and just return this tomorrow. I’ll pick up something more expensive.

After sitting in my house for 6 weeks staring at the walls and noticing every stain, smudge, and spill, in the house. I started noticing them everywhere! Because I was washing my hands every 3 minutes, I started thinking about all of the grime and germs that I couldn’t see. Ah! I was surrounded by a sea of filth! What do I do? I don’t have enough cleaner in the house, or enough energy to clean everything ceiling to floor. I guess this was it. I was a dead man. No more hope. Goodbye filthy world. But what is this? Dupray Neat steam cleaner? An answer to my “Duprayers”? I stabbed the order button as fast as I could and began counting down the time of its arrival. Alas, the greatly anticipated day came! I quickly unboxed the cleaner while the kids stood around half amazed at the glorious wonders I was pulling out of the shipping box, half confused about what I was making such commotion about. Also, during quarantine, it doesn’t take a lot to arouse the curiosity of anyone.I filled up the tank with water, plugged it in, and a few short minutes later after it heated up, I was in business. I holstered the nozzle like it was a revolver, stomped out a wide stance, and with a growly sneer said “OK filth. There’s a new sheriff in town and this house ain’t big enough for the both of us!” And with that, I quick-drew the nozzle and began steam blasting crud away. I started with the most egregious dirt, some carpet stains. With a few blasts of steam and they were gone. I moved to the walls. Almost effortlessly, they suddenly became pristine. My onslaught continued. I moved on to couches, windows, the floors, grout lines, the stove, the shower, countertops, window tracks, doorknobs, ceiling fans, light fixtures, door sills, toilets, faucets, sinks, BBQs, my kids started to look kinda nervous thinking that they might be next. Fortunately, I am not dumb enough to use it on anything living.I cleaned well into the night, got up the next day and continued my onslaught– my grime fighting, if you will, all through the next day. I’ve only owned my Dupray Neat for 3 days, and I’ve already logged about 20 hours of use with this thing.I literally started from one corner of my house and began working top to bottom until I got to the other side of the house. Everything is sparkling clean and smelling fresh as the day it was made. The steam cleaner took out everything I threw at it. There are a few minor exceptions. There were some scuffs on the walls that I took a Magic Eraser to and they came right out. There was also build-up on the shower door that I thought was scale and mold, but after cleaning it, I realized it was where the metal of the door frame was deteriorating. I also started out on the walls using the triangle-shaped tool with the bonnet over it. Just be careful with any painted or stained surfaces. If you stay in one spot too long, it will take paint and stain right off. Luckily, I realized what was happening before any damage was done. I switched to the floor cleaning tool and used that on the walls. THAT is the ticket. It’s fast. It’s easy. Oil and grease from handprints disappeared.I read a lot of product reviews of other brands of steam cleaners. They all complained that the nylon scrubbers that came with theirs melted or wore away quickly. The accessories that come with the Dupray Neat are surprisingly well made. I noticed that the bristles on the nylon scrubbers get soft and bendable after a bit of use and taking the brunt of most of the steam. However, they didn’t break or start to wear down. After they cooled down, they seem to always go back to their original shape. After 20 hours of cleaning, I know I would have usually used up a full bottle of toilet bowl cleaner, a bottle of surface cleaner, a bottle of window cleaner, a few cans of carpet and upholstery cleaner, a bottle of window cleaner, and at least a few cans of oven cleaner. I was able to clean everything for the cost of a few gallons of tap water–basically free. I’ve roughly saved $20-30 already in chemical expenses. Besides that, I DIDN’T USE ANY CHEMICALS! Way more environmentally friendly. No residues. No worry about allergic reactions. No worry about trying to store chemicals where my kids won’t get into them. And, the steam sterilizes everything I use it on. It kills viruses and saves money and the environment. I figure that I’m a patriot and a saint for using this. Thank you! Thank you very much! You are too kind! I’d like to thank the academy, my friends and family, and those that believed in me…So, what are you waiting for? Buy it! You can thank me later. Just buy it!

What I bought it for: I live in a small apartment building with small holes along the baseboards that allow light from my neighbor’s apartment to seep into my kids bedroom at night along the shared wall (and probably vice versa). Said apartment was treated for bedbugs and I didn’t want to take any chances with my children or our sanity so I researched for the best preventative treatments. Steam of over 189 degrees was one of the suggestions, along with traps and preventative sprays and demetrius earth. I bought the trap and preventative spray, used them and then, lined the baseboards and outlets with a preventative coating of the demetrius earth and then went looking for a steamer that would hit that temperature and produce something called dry steam. I found a lot of options. The problem was finding one that got that hot under two hundred dollars and that wasn’t ‘fussy’. Of the more inexpensive options, only this one was able to hit 250 degrees, give dry steam AND only need tap water and a vinegar run through every so often. Plus, we live in a small apartment, so storage ability was very high on my list of priorities. So I bought it and when it arrived…LET ME TELL YOU! It’s a game changer in my entire household cleaning routine!Pros: It comes with enough lengthening attachments that I don’t have to stretch or reach and aggravate my arthritis. The multiple head attachments include a floor steam mop head, a window head, four small round scrubbing bristle attachments and a wire scrubber. It comes with a thick microfiber towel, two steam pads for the mop head and a microfiber attachment that covers the triangle bristle brush attachment (which is what I used for the mattresses and bedframes). The owners manual was simple and the boiler heated up fully in ten minutes. The tank takes about a gallon of water but gives you forty five minutes of steam.Other things to note: I can’t speak about the bedbugs, as I’m not sure we were at risk for a major migration after the other apartment was treated or not. What I CAN speak about is how this thing freshened my kids’ mattresses, the untreated wood bedframe, (I’m going to get around to painting it as soon as I can), it brought my grandson’s car seat back to it’s original color, I deep cleaned and sanitized my sofas and rugs, but also, it made my floors (even the dingy linoleum I moved in here with) look brand new. The MOST important thing is this dang stove. I’ve spent hours trying to get it degreased from the previous tenants. Every spray, chemical “life hack” and I still had a stove that looked like hell. So I used the small head bristle brush and without even having to crawl on the floor or do any real labor, within FIFTEEN MINUTES the thing looked brand new! This machine is Well Worth the price! The Cons:There are a few things that make this machine a bit of a diva, so beware. I’m able to work around because I’ve discovered hacks to make it easier, but it’s a matter of what it’s worth to you.Con 1: The hose. As I stated, I live in an apartment and the design would have been majorly improved if the hose were retractable. The boiler itself is low profile and very cute to me, but the hose is long and a bit unwieldly to put back in it’s designated space in my closet.Con 2: Sometimes it has a dripping problem. After the initial power and warm up, sometimes when you pull the trigger, hot water will pour out before the steam does. I’ve combatted this by not leaving the head I’m intending to use attached if I’m using it with a cloth cover or mop, and pulling the trigger while holding it over my mop bucket. It only lasts a few minutes until the stream turns to steam and the water loss isn’t that big of a deal to me when compared to the great job it does in cleaning and disinfecting my home. That’s it. The only two cons I have for it. So if you want my advice, get this machine. It’s small and packs a great punch.

I’d like to address another popular review that I think missed a lot of points of this device – you shouldn’t take popular negative reviews at face value.”It puts out more water than steam”Yes, sometimes it sputters out some water. Usually this means you need to wait longer for steam to generate. The light on the main unit indicates if it’s ready for use. Sometimes it fluxuates during use, this is normal. After maybe 5-10 minutes of constant steaming it needs time to regenerate. I’d like to note that the water sputtering out is hardly an issue, you can simply wipe it up – no harm done.”It doesn’t put out enough pressure and steam to clean the floors.”The pressure can be pretty intense through the tight nozzles, but I think this is actually a valid criticism as far as floor cleaning is concerned. If you have deep stains, you’ll need to work on those areas for a bit.”The need to constantly hold a button to steam the floors is a hassle.”The handle comes with a button on top. While holding the trigger, you can press the top button in and it’ll lock the trigger, much like a gas nozzle at the gas station.”The length of the handle of the mop is not long enough. I am 5’2″ and I had to bend over constantly to use the steamer”This device comes with an extension piece that greatly increases the length. I’m 6’1″ and can comfortably clean our entire apartment. Granted, I do have to hunch over a bit to give those trouble spots some extra work, but I haven’t been bothered by it.”The pad area is not large enough to clean a large tiled area.”I don’t think this device is appropriate for large homes. The pad is relatively small, but it’s perfectly reasonable for most apartments and small homes in my experience.”With what little steam and heat it put out the clip on top warped and broke out of place within the 1st 5 minutes of use.”I didn’t experience this at all. I’ve used this thing to its limits, fully expending an entire tank in one use. The only damage I caused was my fault for blowing scalding hot steam on materials that weren’t designed to sustain the heat. This criticism strikes me more as a defect, and potentially a hazard if the steam can make its way through the hole where the button used to be.This is just my experience with the device. I have no regrets purchasing it, it does its job very well.I do, however, have some minor criticisms that you should consider before purchasing:1. The rags they provide can (and will) get very dirty, and won’t wash out easily. This isn’t really an issue because you can use any microfiber cloth in their place, but in practice it can be a hassle. Especially the scrunchie cloth that goes around the scrubber attachment. That is very much a custom-made piece, and anything like it is very expensive. If you buy generic microfiber cloths, you’ll need to fashion some way to keep it in place on whatever attachment you want to use.2. It can be a chore to set up. You have to measure out the water you want (ideally filtered, you don’t want any calcified buildup inside the device. That’ll be a whole different headache down the line.), pour it into the little hole without spilling, and then wait a non-negligible amount of time before you can start.3. It requires post-cleaning cleanup. The rags you used will be dirty. If you care about the stains, you’ll likely need to treat the cloths with some kind of cleaning substance. Otherwise, you’ll just need to run them through the laundry asap.4. This unit isn’t necessarily fit for deep cleaning the floors. As I, and the reviewer I quoted both mentioned, this unit doesn’t have the pressure or heat to really get tough stains out of hard surfaces. It is, however, perfectly suited for routine floor cleaning, or for handling spills shortly after they happen. As an anecdote, I found that our trash can had been leaking unknown sticky substances onto the floor behind it. This device was able to take care of 80% of the problem, but I still had to get on my knees and scrub the rest. I would have done that last part anyway, so I’m not too upset about it. It was definitely easier after using this device.5. It’s not very vocal about needing some more time to build steam. While cleaning, the indicator light will occasionally turn yellow, which, according to the manual, means you should take a pause while it generates more steam. In reality, you can continue steaming for some time after it turns yellow, but you’ll eventually outpace the steam production. This isn’t a huge issue, but you’ll need to keep an eye on the light soas not to be surprised. Stopping right as it turns yellow lets you take smaller pauses, if that’s preferable to you.Otherwise, you’ll note that I still gave this a 5 star rating. For the price, this is a fantastic product. I can use it for easily 90% of my regular household cleaning tasks, it’s very flexible.I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a relatively small space they intend to use this in (vehicles, specialty rooms, small homes, etc.).

I do not feel that it is as powerful as the videos showed; however, I still love it!I purchased this steam cleaner a few months ago looking for something that would help me deep clean the shower (we have hard water) and deep clean all the other areas the video showed. It showed stuck-on dirt and grime just melting right off… Not quite.1 – Floors: I love how this cleans my floors! I sweep and then steam mop. I run a remote vacuum throughout the week too, but my floors feel so clean after a quick mop. The little pads hold a ton of grime without smearing it across the floor. I don’t have to change pads at all, and I have 1500 square feet of floors to mop.2 – Kitchen: I use it on my counters; cabinets (super carefully and gently as I do not want to blast the finish off); sink; stainless steel Fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and importantly stove. I have a glass top stove, it completely removes most of the mess (oil and grease) with a quick blast and wipe with a towel. It also gets fingerprints and smudges off of all the stainless. Love it.3 – Bathrooms: It DOES work to help break up the buildup on grout. But it does NOT melt off as seen in the video. They had to have sprayed something on those tiles first. I do use it to get rid of the hard water buildup on the crome in the shower, but I spray some hard water cleaner on the chrome and glass first. It does blast built-up soap away without an issue. Not really good for cleaning toilets.4 – Laundry: When was the last time you cleaned your washer and dryer? My husband laughs at me, but I clean mine pretty regularly. They get a lot of dust on the outside, and a lot of buildup on the inside (especially if you have a glass top). The Windows get all the soap backsplash and pretty soon you can’t see through it… Use the steamer to clean the inside and outside of the window and POOF, like new.5 – Windows: only tried once, not too impressed, though it could be a user error. Will need to try again. I Will update if something changes :)6 – I only use about 1/4 – 1/2 a gallon of water depending on how much area I’m doing. It really goes a long way. It doesn’t take 20 min to heat up this way either. Also, you can still use the device unplugged while the pressure is built up. Which makes doing large floors easier.Cons:1 – I DO wish there was a way of seeing how much water was left in the tank.2 – I bought this because it said tap water was okay to use – it’s really not, use distilled. You can probably get away with tap if you have no minerals or if you’re just doing it once or twice, but make sure to clean it after. When I opened up the tank the next morning it had a bunch of minerals stuck to the plug and all around the inside of the tank. These things aren’t exactly cheap and I want to make sure it lasts so I bought distilled and haven’t had any issues since.3 – The cord is really long, which is great, but it attaches to the bottom of the unit and does tend to tangle up around the wheels. It’s easily fixed by lifting the unit (careful, the handle does get warm).Even with the Cons and the misleading video, I would still buy. I am really curious to see what it does to smoke stains… Which is a project coming up. I’ll update after.

I am a classic overthinker, so I’ve been researching a steam cleaner for a couple years now. I already had a steam mop that works great, but I wanted a steam cleaner that could be used for other areas. Real talk: I wanted it mainly for the bathroom. I live in a house full of boys. Very tall boys, aiming at a relatively small area far below. I don’t want to be indelicate—turn away now if you have a weak stomach!—but I need something to blast pee out of those toilet hinges. I clean the bathroom three times every week (like I said, boys, and I have just one bathroom), but the smell still lingered, and I was positive the problem was those hinges. Let me tell you, sister: as soon as I opened the box… well, I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start at the beginning. The Neat steamer is a small cube, very minimalist and, well, neat. The 16-foot-long cord (that’s long, you guys!) wraps around its holder hidden from view on the bottom of the unit. I worried that I would have to wait to wrap the cord and put the cleaner away until it cooled off and was emptied, but no, I have flipped the cube over while still hot and full with no problems. The carrying handle is recessed into the top of the cube, and yes, it’s light enough to actually carry around, but you likely won’t need to. It also has casters that roll very well on my hard floors and a berber carpet. And the accessories! My goodness, so many accessories. I thought I really only wanted and needed the nozzle to concentrate the steam, but I’m finding I’m using all of them. I love the nylon brushes for my grout. I also used them for my cabinet doors and the grubby corners a kid grabs to keep himself upright as he barrels around the house at breakneck speed. The window squeegee makes quick work of the gazillion dog-nose smudges (but put a towel down at the bottom to catch all the water that will drip down). If your windows are particularly tall, using one or both of the included extension wand sections really increase your reach. My couch cushions (again, look away, you with weak stomachs) were beginning to take on a slight boy-butt odor, with maybe a suggestion of boy feet, after several weekends-long marathon group gaming sessions… the corner tool with the included bonnet took care of that quickly. I *think* I could do it even faster using the floor tool and a cloth.Speaking of the floor tool, I thought I would not use it, since I have a perfectly wonderful steam mop already, but I was wrong. I love that I can use the included microfiber mop cloths or *any* cloth I want, simply by clipping it on. Perfect! And the steam from the Neat doesn’t reach the same temperature as my steam mop does, which sounds like a downside, but what I had not realized before I bought the steam mop was that the super-high-temp steam would ruin the finish on my vinyl flooring. Had I bought the Neat years ago, my vinyl would still be shiny, so let that be a cautionary tale for you.But back to the bathroom. I believe it would be worth the cost of the Neat steamer for the bathroom alone. Because of the timing of the delivery, I used it just *after* I’d cleaned the bathroom (and I should tell you, I am a very thorough cleaner). Yup, those toilet seat hinges were the problem. I used the nozzle to concentrate the steam, and it blew through those hinges and allowed me to wipe up the offending particles with a paper towel. While I was there, I went ahead and used one of the nylon brushes to clean the edges where the tub trim meets the floor and gave the tops of the baseboards a good wipe, too. I hadn’t thought of it until just that moment, but I steamed the inside of the wastebasket. It looked clean beforehand, but I like the idea that I killed any germs that may have been lingering. One thing in the bathroom that I always seem to forget is cleaning the lightbulbs. Dust and hair (how the heck does dog hair keep getting into a room the dogs are not allowed to enter??) and the steam that results from long showers combine to leave an almost concrete-like substance on baseboards, tops of medicine cabinets and window trim, etc., and on the lightbulbs. It was amazing how quickly the steam melted it right off those neglected bulbs.Maybe the best feature of all is the trigger lock. My hands would be stiff claws if I had to keep the trigger squeezed the entire time I was cleaning! For quick jobs, I just pull the trigger and let it go, but for longer tasks like mopping the floor, the trigger lock is invaluable.I have very few complaints, and they aren’t even really complaints. In my extensive research, I saw several people complain that some water shoots out before the steam begins. Yes, there will likely be some water in your hose or attachment that will come out ahead of the steam, but since you know it’ll happen, it’s a problem easily solved by starting with the nozzle pointed into the sink or even just at a cloth or towel. One valid point I’d seen made and have observed myself is that there is no water level indicator. When you’re out of water, the steam stops with no warning. It’s a slight annoyance to have to fill the reservoir and wait the 5 or 8 minutes for it to heat and pressure to build, but it’s not an insurmountable problem. I would have like to have an accessories storage included, but I just slide the cardboard box they came in into the closet beside the Neat unit (you can see in the picture how this fits even in my ancient house’s tiny linen closet). Which brings up my last “complaint”: the hose does not detach from the unit, and there is no “holster” for storing the hose. Again, not a deal breaker. I just coil the hose and hope for the best.In summary, I highly recommend the Dupray Neat steam cleaner.

For FOREVER, I have had this little “tea-kettle” style steam cleaner and for its intended purpose, it’s a good little unit for specific applications like cleaning close, tight angles in the oven, or the sink…or, for removing persistent labels where WD40 wasn’t an option. The only issue is, the small cleaners take 15+ minutes to heat up and pressurize to give you about 15 minutes of cleaning and they lose pressure too rapidly. I’ve offhandedly wondered if there were something bigger and better, that wouldn’t break the bank…puzzled on it intermittently for years. However, since “I’m not a commercial cleaner”, I didn’t invest a tremendous amount of investigation into seeking a “retail-friendly solution”, thus I didn’t think I’d ever need one.Until I DID need one.Simply put, if someone gives you a gift that even HINTS at being a “re-gift” (something they may have had stored in-home for a period), or it might be a very gently used item, quarantine it and clean it before you put the item among your things. This simple act, discreetly applied, can save you weeks of paranoia and unhappiness. Not to mention the unpleasant stigma associated with the problems it wrought.Enter the discovery of the Dupray Neat steam machine. Happy days inbound! For the record, I consider myself a normally tidy person, but the Neat machine expounded on that in such a wonderful way. Note, please, that I refer to my Neat as a “steam machine”; because it’s more than just a simple “cleaner”, it’s a UNIT.It comes with a collection of accessories that make it nearly impossible for dirt to hide from its reach. From a triangular head with or without a bonnet, to a window cleaning adaptor, a group of these wonderfully firm tiny brushes (one of which is metal!) that affix to the nozzle tip, a long-reach wand extension that allows you to steam power-clean floors and a broad flat-surface cleaning head that (get this!) not only comes with some nice cleaning pads custom-fitted for that head, the head itself is equipped to hold onto any cloth (suitable for steam-cleaning) big enough to get under the clips on the sides of that head! Those clips are rat-trap strong so the cloth won’t slip away or buckle and clench up while cleaning. This doesn’t even cover all of the accessories. I guess the only gripe I might have is that the accessories don’t come with a caddy or some sort of bag to keep them neatly stored all together. Of course, for this product at this price point, I have no desire to kvetch about it…after all, how many of us have one of those re-useable grocery bags tucked away–you know the one–it’s the one in your cupboard (or under the passengers’ seat in your ride) that you resolve to take on your next grocery jaunt…and then you have to buy another one because you forgot to bring it.The next best part? The Tank VOLUME on this machine. No more one-cup-at-a-time for me! That’s a huge time saver! Yes, it takes about the same amount of time to heat up as that little kettle, but the Neat steam machine carries a LOT more water which in turn, grants you a great deal more time to invest in cleaning. So it’s not such an issue to wait for it to cool down so you can fill it again and get back to work after a pleasant respite. Afterward, you’re back to eradicating filth (–and molds, allergens and germs!–) at 275 degrees Fahrenheit and have 54 ounces of water in your aresnal. In no time, you might find yourself looking for things to clean…it’s addicting, sort of.Please Neat responsibly.Steam cleaning is environmentally friendly as opposed to using a chemical cleaner or heavy disinfectants, plus you save money by not having to use cleaning agents with as great a frequency. So if you’re not into it for the “green” aspect, consider it as an option to keep a little “green” in your pocket! You don’t have to be a ‘tree-hugger’ to appreciate green advantages!Neat also saves you money in detailing your vehicle interior, and can even be used on some of the parts when making repairs. In turn, using less water and nearly no solvents saves even more money. Seems like we have a theme, doesn’t it? Putting emphasis on the “eco” in both “Ecological” and “Economical”.A major point is that you can clean more than just your home’s interior. Additionally, you can buy even more accessories and have certain extras dedicated exclusively to specific tasks…after all, you don’t want to use the same steel brush that cleanerd auto parts the week before, on cleaning the crispy bits from your grill, would you? I suspect not…and the extras are readily available at a pretty fair cost. The ony thing hotter than the water temperature the Neat machine produces, is the wattage it offers to heat said water. This unit gets up to 1,500 Watts–which is higher than many home-use steamers at higher price-points. The name “Neat” isn’t accidental; it literally is everything one could want from a steam machine, all wrapped up in a Neat little package for a Neat little price. And what a package, too. You have this sublimely simple design and function: a small white cube with a singular glowing power button following you around, smoothly rolling around on the floors of your home. (It’s like being stalked by an Apple product.) Other than the gusty hiss when the trigger is depressed (it has a lock feature, by the way, so you don’t need to keep an iron grip on the handle to keep the steam going), the Neat is pretty much silent. So enjoy your jams or be able to hear the phone ring while cleaning…the world is your toaster. Or something like that. You can probably understand from the volume of this review, that I’m pretty happy with my purchase. That be the case, you’d be right on the money. I am happy…ecstatically happy, with my purchase. Just so you know, Dupray actually has some videos on YouTube featuring the Neat and other steam machines from their product line and I would recommend viewing them. They have informative subjects that were helpful in my decision to buy this machine, and there are dozens of rave reviews from other content creators on that platform, too. I did do my research before making my purchase and of course, encourage you to do the same. Personally, my research led me here to make this choice.Incidentally, YES, I would encourage others to buy, and I DO recommend this product. I still love my little kettle for fighting germs and dirt in small applications, or using as a “gateway” to loan to someone else to get them into steam cleaning (“if you liked the results you got from the tea kettle, you’re gonna flip when you see this!” *rolls out the Dupray Neat* “This machine is the quintessential game changer.” ). Yes, using the “street corner pharmacist” marketing methodology…it’s super effective!Quite possibly, one of the best purchases I’ve made to date.

SOOOOOOOO!!!!!!I’ve had this on my Wishlist FOREVER!I would put it in my cart, then change my mind, put it in the cart, change my…. You get it. Lol I am SO MAD at myself for NOT buying this sooner. I am a working mom and I have a baby boy. It’s soooo hard to come home and KNOW that “Man, I really need to clean” but you’re just so exhausted you don’t want to be on your hands and knees scrubbing the only 2 hours you have to yourself after a long day and putting baby to bed. I finally took the Leapt of faith, I read the reviews I convinced myself… “this is an investment”. Ngl I received in at the end of February and FINALLY used it now at the beginning of April. I HATE cleaning my bathroom. I’m the ONLY one who does it. I’ve bought automatic scrubbers, brushes… You name it.This little steamer IS SOOO EASY TO USE! Plug it in, add water, choose the attachment you need, wait for the light to turn green, and VIOLA MAGIC MIST OF STEAM OF THE LITERAL GODS. 🥺❤️ MY SHOWER IS LITERALLY SPOTLESS. (I used the recommended attachments the triangle brush and Terry cloth scrunchy thingy) oh man I didn’t even have to go over it more than 2x. You can SEE the dirt being burned away into oblivion. I literally was like “WOW WOW WOW WOW” THE WHOLE TIME. lol I did the entire stand up shower and EVEN the bathroom floor 😭❤️ I could NOT be more satisfied and pleased with this purchase. It’s one of my ABSOLUTE favorite things I’ve ever purchased off NiceShine. I even bought a Shark floor steamer, and I sooo love it, don’t get me wrong, but WHAT THE HECK THE DUPRAY DOES FLOORS TOO!?! Like what can’t it do honestly? It can probably do my taxes too! Lol jk but anyways! This little steamer is awesome, cleaning absolutely sucks and you literally just want to finish cleaning and be DONE with it…I was literally finished cleaning my bathroom, but I ENJOYED using it SO MUCH I went over everything 2x. That’s how great and easy this thing is!! It MAKES you enjoy cleaning! What witchcraft is this!?! LolMy new life philosophy :Steam is good…. Very good. 😎🤣Everything about this thing SO FAR has nothing but pros for me. I can’t wait to try the other attachments. Here is the only con I have for it:I wish it came with more scrunchy Terry cloth attachments. Because when the only one it comes with gets flithy, I’m like…. Ughhhhhh I wish I had 10 of these. So I’ma see if they sell them separately. But just stop convincing yourself you don’t need it. Everyone needs this thing. Just DO IT. lol Anyway I just had to drop a review. This thing is awesome, and you’ll feel awesome owning it lol

Have had maybe 3 Sharks before this one so Dupray is definitely a different animal. I only got the machine recently and have used it merely once so far so I cannot comment to its longevity.Initial impression is that it’s well made. The plastic parts are sturdy and the pieces snap together firmly yet are simple to separate as needed. The cube-shaped water reservoir rolls easily on its wheels and when all attachments are in place this kind of looks like a canister vacuum cleaner. There are a variety of nozzles & pads/cloths to cover all kinds of cleaning needs. Distilled water is recommended to extend the life of the product. The steamer is very easy to use. One button to press on/off, wait for light to turn green and go. Cannot select levels of steam but that is irrelevant for me. The cord is stored under the cube which is convenient but it’s better to let the unit cool down before rolling up the cord. The cord itself isn’t hugely long so I got an extension cord to make life easier because otherwise I would have had to plug/unplug in every room.As the instructions stated, it will take 8 or so minutes to heat up the steamer. Once you’re ready to roll you’ll be impressed by the copious amount of steam generated. Some other reviewers said that it leaves floors wet, but I didn’t notice that. To me it was pretty much like my old Shark. That being said, if you use one of the brush nozzles, you will get PLENTY of steam and since there isn’t a pad to soak up the moisture, your surface will be wet (once done I removed the brush, attached the pad and wiped off the excess water but a rag would suffice).I tested the brush nozzle on our bathroom and kitchen tile floors and must say that even rather minimal effort will show results. The photo is from our kitchen. The grout is medium dark when pristine and mere quick test steam brushing made a difference. The house has tile and cork flooring (and wood in the foyer) and all surfaces did well.As others have said, you have no way of knowing how much water is left in the reservoir and god forbid if you try to open the top to add more water before all has been consumed, you’ll face a geyser spewing out hot steam so be cautious. I cleaned maybe about 1500 sq ft and added a bit of water when I was about 3/4 done. I’d say that was reasonable.

I have currently owned my steamer for 11 months. I selected this model for the following reasons: recommendation from a friend; low price; size. I am giving this model 4.5 stars because it’s great. Is it the best on the market?? No. But for the price and size – it’s worthy of a 4.5 stars rating.I have used this to clean grout, my shower, countertops, floors, drapes, and for stain removal. The hand trigger does have a way to lock for continuous steam. However, when cleaning grout I find it best to squeeze the trigger, let steam build up, and then make another pass on the grout. I would love to try the professional model_ but I am not ready to spend the $$$$ right now. After 11 months this little guy has held up well! I know it’s best to use distilled water but I have not… and it still works great. If you are looking for a small steamer….i highly recommend you purchasing.UpDATE: I would like to mention – I DO NOT work for Dupray. I have NOT received anything for my honest review. That being said, I think Dupray should hire me to test their products. I have abused the heck out of my little neat steamer and it is still going strong. Currently, I have moved it to my garage to help me tackle a few jobs. The neat steamer was again a life saver. I have a large window in my garage and the neat tackled 15 years of dirt and build up with ease. Looking forward to cleaning additional windows around my house.New recommendations for Dupray: I would love to see an attachment for cleaning a shower. I would love to better design the attachment with bristles. My bristles are bent and are no longer as effective. Thank you Dupray for producing a great product.

I did a fair amount of research on cleaning steamers before selecting this unit. It arrived quickly, was very well packaged, and easy to use. I’d been cleaning my tile floors with a wet swiffer and/or the Boma floor manual floor cleaner and while those were fine for quick touchups, I never really felt like the tile floors were super clean. Note we have a dog who tracks in dirt on her paws (we don’t generally wear shoes in the house). This unit did a really nice job of steam cleaning the floors and I’m pleased with how well it cleaned. I also used it to clean the tile in my shower. So why only four stars? Well, if the manufacturer is listening, here is what would make it five stars!1) Add a window or indicator that lets you know how much water is in the unit, It says the unit takes a maximum of 40 ounces and yes, you can measure that out when you fill it, but then you have no idea how much water is left inside.2) Provide something to help fill the unit with water – like a measuring cup or funnel? It can be a little tricky adding water, without making a mess, if you don’t add water very slowly.3) Add something that can lock the trigger while using the steamer! You have to hold down the trigger in order for steam to emit. Your hand/fingers will get fatigued if you’re having to continually squeeze the trigger. All said, I’d highly recommend this unit for all sorts of cleaning. Now I just need to figure out a way to hold the trigger down (maybe with a ponytail holder)!.

Pros: The best part of this steamer is the strong, steady stream of steam no matter how short or long your wand is. The clips on the mop attachment allow you to use whatever rag or pad you want. Very minimum drip if any when cleaning walls or cabinets. Easy to switch between attachments while cleaning (hot but won’t burn). Hose and wheels allow for good reach and easy movement. The tank is huge compared the Shark steam or the Bissell pro steam. Good option for chord storage. Good attachment options.Cons: mop swivel is a limited range it’s meant to be used at a specific angle. Won’t fit around a tight toilet space. Cap to the water tank gets HOT. 8min heating time is accurate BUT it’s a big tank and only if you’re starting it completely cold. There is no way to cleanly or easily store the hose. If you overfill, it dumps the excess water on the floor.Improvement suggestions: a lock on the wheels. A 180° swivel. An indicator for how much water there is in the tank. Either a way for the hose to detach completely from the main housing or a way to secure the hose in storage. Flat scraper attachment.

I bought this in Nov of 2019. I didn’t take the time to review, but after using it today I felt guilty for not doing one because I depend on my Deepest Neat steam cleaner SO much. I love it. It truly is multi use! I am a gardener who has a foot ailment that doesn’t allow me to take off my shoes in the house. I have had 2 big dogs with huge paws at once, and I collect house plants. Get the picture?! Whether on my primary light colored tile floors or my vinyl, inside my shower or the inside of my flowerpots, this is my go to cleaner. So very easy to use, and super effective. Reading some of these reviews mentioning problems, I noticed that some of the people ought to have read the directions. The directions are clear and easy to understand, unlike some of my other electrical products! I have used distilled water in mine because I really wanted it to last, and I have had no problems with it during theselast 5 years. Do follow the directions to clean it once in awhile by letting a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water sit in the tank though. I didn’t want to pay this much, but I had tried other floor cleaners including an upright steamer and they didn’t get the job done, especially on my textured surface tile floors which is 50% of my house. This does it, and it is easy for someone with a crappy back to move around. It has been worth every penny I paid for it. If it eventually dies, I will buy this product again. And if you make rags from old clothes, just attack those to the floor cleaner part with sturdy rubber bands. Yup, I love this Dupray steam cleaner, and I think you will too.

I have a full house of hard floors and large breed dogs. I have tried many floor steamers in the past which end up in the back of the closet after one use and donated later. This one is here to stay and I’m now researching other products by this company. Please note that I am not a die hard chemical free sanitizer germ phobe person. Just a regular gal w/lots of pets who wanted to feel like I was doing something a little extra to get rid of smells and stuff my regular mopping wasn’t taking care of. I will now nix regular mopping all together and use this every time since its so easy and worked so well.PROS:*Price point. Although a bit higher than others, still very fair considering the actual product/capacity/performance.*Larger capacity water tank. No more constant re-filling after just barely half a room.*Doesn’t require manufacturer pads! All the left over pads from previous steam mop failures fit/worked as did a plain old rag/towel.*Attachments. I cleaned everything from floors, baseboards, walls, couch, sliders, etc. (I did mention I had large breed dogs).*Appearance. Simple, streamlined, no invasive colors. One could actually leave this out and not be visually offended which is good cause i used it over 2 separate days.CONS:*Cord. It winds around the bottom which is kind of a pain. If it retracted, I’d give this 5 stars.*Tool storage. I wish they were stored on board somehow because when you’re on a mission, you don’t want to stop to have to go across the house to get another tool. I don’t know whats with that? Even my very expensive “D” cordless vac doesn’t have on board tool storage? I’m thinking of using velcro tape to create this myself but don’t feel that I should have to. It’s a simple thing that anyone who cleans large spaces would know is important.

This is my 2nd steam cleaner. The last one lasted almost 20 years and was some off brand. It started having problems so I got rid of it. I searched for maybe a good year for a new one as I don’t use them very often, but when I use it, I just want it to work. So, I bought the Dupray Neat and it arrived two days ago. It was actually shipped faster than the original delivery day by a week, so I was pleasantly surprised.Yesterday, I decided to open it and give it a whirl. I only use distilled water. It holds up to 1000 ml of water but I didn’t know how long that would last as it was only a test run to see how long it produced steam. so I only put in 500 ml. I used it almost constantly for about 20 minutes before the steam ran out. So, a decent amount of time for only 500 ml of water. Longer than the previous no name steamer. Also, it’s super simple to use. Simply put in the water in the built in funnel (which works perfectly) and hit the big on/off button. I pressed the on/off button a few times before I turned it on to see how easy it was to press. It was super simple. But, that put it in the on position. No big deal. You have to turn it on anyway.Regardless, got it filled up and turned on. It only took about 15 minutes to heat up. So, about the same as my last cleaner. Now, here’s the good parts. The unit is made from very durable plastic. It’s very sturdy, the attachments attach with no problem at all, the handle is comfortable and has a lock to keep it on. I like that because your hand starts to get tired after holding this for 15 minutes or so.I started with the kitchen sink. We have super hard water and after 10 years the sink has accumulated a ton of calcium. The steam cleaner was not able to remove this. I assume I’ll need to use some chemicals to break up the calcium and then clean it with the steamer. It literally did nothing to the calcium. However, my cabinets, stainless steel stove, microwave, refrigerator, floors, stove top, and the walls worked like a charm. The calcium in the sink was just too much. Tbh, I didn’t expect it to work anyway.I used the mirror attachment as well and my mirror is spotless now. Looks better than it did new!Cons:Not powerful enough to remove deep fused calcium deposits in a sinkpros:LightweightWorksdurable feelingeasy to useeasy instructionseasy to filleasy to storeBasically, it works as advertised and IMO was a great investment. If you’re in the market for a steam cleaner, this is the one for you. Also, I never give a 5 star rating because you can always improve. However, IF I did give 5 star ratings, this would be one.Buy it!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this steam cleaner runs so long on 40 oz of water. I bought the unit for my tile (textured) floors (2600 sq feet). Where I used to spend probably 10 minutes on one tile (extremely dirty), I now spend MAYBE 5 at most after finishing my routine on a tile. My past go to was magic eraser sponges. And I still use those. I would have to scrub each tile with a lot of pressure over and over again to get the tiles actually clean with just the magic erasers. Now I use the steam lance and brush, go over a tile and it’s grout lines until I see the difference, grab a magic eraser, and wipe over the tile with both sides, paying special attention to the grout. I use the sponge edges for grout as often as possible. I steam the tile again and wipe with the a clean sponge to check. By this time the magic eraser is still pretty clean, and do another pass with a clean one or the white microfiber cloth to check whether there is still dirt (rarely). Every now and again, I haven’t gotten up all the dirt, but it’s rare. Remember my textured tiles have pits in them. I used to use 1 magic eraser for 2 tiles before it was falling apart. Now I keep grabbing a new one for each tile and throw them in a bucket to be rinsed out later.I only suggest this if you are anal retentive (me) and you invest in buying off brand magic erasers in BULK. I got mine for pennies each pre-covid from Sponge Outlet: $0.40 each/300. I think I paid something like $0.05 when I bought mine years ago.I find that the Neat used with it’s microfiber pad (or another brand) works charmingly for a quick mopping. They do not pick up all the dirt. Since I have quite the collection of microfiber mop heads (16″) I primarily use those. Those slop around if you don’t fit rubber bands to the clips designed to keep microfiber cloths in place. I slip the bands under the clips to hold them and simply sandwich the mop ends between the rubber band and top of the clip. When I HAVE used the clips they pop off.I have not used this on my shower, though I should do a test on the bathroom sink my husband uses. He NEVER wipes it up after using it so there are decades of hard water build up.

I bought this to replace a 10 year old steam cleaner. Wow, this has lots of steam! I gave this a 4 rating because1. I wish the electrical cord was longer.2. I wish it had a steam burst.3. i wish I could see the water level.4. I wish the extension tubes and floor tool could swivel up more. I’m 5’2″ and have to bend over to keep the floor tool flat on the floor.5. I wish the floor tool swivel more to reach tight areas.6. I wish the hose detached from the machine to easier storage.7. I wish the cord keeper on the bottom was easier to use. I’m using a velcro cord keeper.I tested it on some dirty grout and it does a great job. When I get time, I will clean more.I really like it so far; just have a wish list.

A dirt in the grout massacre occurred at our home. All tile was deep cleaned after God knows how many decades of build up and college boys and a previous family before that. I didn’t even know it was possible to be that clean! It’s hard to tell in the pics bc it was still drying but once dry it went from almost black to a light tan! One nozzle for the tip of the steamer was done for after use but it scrubbed an unreal amount of grout, several stuck on residue spots were from old thresholds, grease, gunk, and stickers from kids. And there are several more tips included in this package so it’s all good! I then changed the attachment to the mop one for the surfaces of all hardwoods and tile in our home and it worked like a charm on there too. Dried quickly and didn’t leave residue and left floors feeling so clean. Heats up quickly and easy to use. Works better when you don’t use the long arm extenders bc the steam is more from right out from the tank… but floor mop w extender worked fine just not quite as powerful. I agree it would be nice to be able to see in the tank to know how much is left but I used until it was empty to help me gauge it. I would fill 20oz at a time instead of the full 40 capacity bc the full capacity takes a long time and a lot of work to use up. It’s compact and clean looking. Make sure to use distilled water bc I did and I read that that really helps prolong its life. Otherwise, happy deep cleaning!!

I got the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner for 25% off, at about $150. Easily the best use of $150 in years. This steamer is as easy to use as a vacuum.Kitchen floor:My marmoleum (like linoleum) floor holds on to grime, especially in high traffic areas below the sink and food prep counter. Scrubbing with a conventional sponge mop with hot water and soap would not remove the worn-in grime. After the first pass with this steam cleaner most of the grime was gone. I figured I was passing over the floor too quickly. I let it dry and did a second passing back and forth over the floor slowly in the highly trafficked areas. When the water dried, it was clean. This is SO MUCH easier, no scrubbing and no bearing down hard on the mop handle trying to get the grime off.Next, I used the steamer’s handle and floor attachment, which has great clamps for using your own microfiber cloths, to apply two coats of liquid finish to the marmoleum. When I was done, I squeezed out the microfiber cloth and popped it in the washer load, and then rinsed any liquid finish off of the floor attachment with hot water.Stainless steel cook top:I had a baked-on oil spot on the edge of the cook top and I could not remove it regardless of scrubbing, hot water, or chemical cleaners. Using the nozzle attachment, I slowly passed over that area then rubbed it briskly with a nappy all-cotton rag, and it was gone. Then I went after those annoying baked on spots under the burners. See the photos.Ceramic tile bathroom floor:This was a breeze. I ran a vacuum over the floor to get up loose dirt and dust, them a single pass with the steam cleaner around the toilet, along the base of cabinets and shower, and then the rest of the floor. Once the floor dried, it was spotless, and no chemical smell.I attached the nozzle and did a quick pass under the inside rim of the toilet, then a light pass with the toilet brush in the bowl. Best part, nothing cast-ff from the brush while cleaning under the rim.In the walk-in shower:I used the nozzle to clean out the base, corners, and insides of the slider door track. I’d cleaned this regularly, the corners were always hard to get and it would get grimy and moldy fast. Now I know why. I hadn’t been able to clean deep enough in the groove and underneath parts of the track; this left grime/shower mold that re-populated quickly. The volume of grime I cleaned out was unreal, like how did it all fit in there. Now there’s nothing there to re-populate it, so it should stay much cleaner betweemn bi-weekly cleanings.I tried using the steamer and squeegee on the built-up mineral stains on my shower doors. Honestly, I hadn’t been cleaning it off the doors for about the last year because it’s a lot hard scrubbing with harsh chemicals and it would only remove most of the build-up; plus, I had to be inside the shower with the doors closed (without kids, no real incentive to deep clean). The steamer alone didn’t remove the heavy caked-on areas, but it did soften the build-up. It did remove lighter built-up residue, but left streaks. This is what I found worked: – In the lighter areas on the upper parts of the doors, I sprayed with low-chemical cleaner (I use Purcay, but I’m sure Method or Mrs. Meyers would work fine), let it sit a minute, passed over with the steam cleaner using the squeegee attachment, and the wiped lightly with a dry cotton rag to wipe of anything remaining. – On the heavy buildup areas, I passed over with the steamer and squeegee then immediately (while the residue was still soft) used Borax on a damp no-scratch dish scrubber with a light circular scrubbing pattern. I rinsed it off and the doors are clean. So much easier and a lot faster. Now the hard work is done, keeping it cleaned-off using just the steamer, or a light cleaning spray with the steamer should work.My next weekend project are the carpeted stairs. I’ll use the triangular brush attachment with the microfiber “bonnet” with the steamer to kill of carpet moths and their eggs without chemicals.

I’ve been battling a flea problem for months. Spent $300 on my own methods and $600 on a professional extermination. Maybe $200 more on other prevention items. The issue was so extreme that my home was unlivable and was told to find other (temporary) living options until this was resolved… For 3 months, my home had many extermination attempts and the fleas should be starved and eradicated due to no other living mammal being in the home. I’ve tried so many things, even freezing them out (a/c on high, open windows with freezing temps outside..) Not sure how this all happened in the first place considering my cat is regularly treated and mostly outdoors (yard treated as well). I’ve lived in my home for 3 years and never had an issue until months ago. The infestation seemed to be under control, but I still found fleas after everything. So far, my method below has been working well.Shipping took a while longer than expected, but when it arrived, I had some hope this would do the trick. I’ve done a lot of research on temperature killing points and the what might break the “glue” substance that binds bug eggs to surfaces. A lot of mixed information, I’d say it’s safe for anything above 250F. Dupray steamer gets to 275F and there’s another product they have that reaches 320F. Because of this, I gained some confidence that this is the one tool that would provide me with the upper hand at combating the fleas. While using this steamer, I noticed fleas jumping onto me (to try and survive?). Put me in a panic but reminded myself that this is doing its job. Using the white microfiber cloth provided was great because I could see how many fleas and other bugs this was killing. Even after killing my back and scrubbing the floors with PineSol, sweat, and tears, Dupray steam cleaner removed much more dirt.Being slightly physically disabled, deep cleaning is already a hassle, but this makes it so much easier with the extension arms. I do think a way to view water levels would be helpful and a temperature gauge would be a great feature on this product. Regardless the functions are durable. For anyone combating bugs (in this order): bag up all bedding and clothing to wash -dryer on high for about 10-20 minutes to kill any fleas. Wash everything- Premo brand laundry additive, soak clothing and bedding with this for about 15 minutes before washing and then wash with more of the additive. Helps keep the bugs away and off bedding and clothing. Vacuum everything -A good quality Shark vacuum (anything with a HEPA filter that intakes debris and doesn’t push it back out). Make sure to keep the vacuum running for about 10 minutes AFTER use to make sure the fleas or bug are really in the canister. Empty canister outside your home and tie the bag tightly after. Spray- Black Flag flea and tick spray. It’s potent so I recommend wearing a mask while spraying and leaving the home for a while. I sprayed literally everything. Wondercide has been recommended too for a less toxic and more everyday preventative, but I have not tried it yet. Vacuum again after about 24 hours of the spray odor has left the home. Just giving it enough time to set in.. STEAM -This Dupray steam cleaner, on everything. Use the white microfiber cloth provided so you could see what it’s all picking up or just anything white that will collect debris. Right after steaming sofas or other fabric types of furniture, use the Bisslle Hydrosteam upholstery cleaner while dirt is still “broken up” from the Dupray steamer. The Bissell does not at all have as hot of steam as the Dupray, but it’ll help get the furniture extra clean and pick up any dirt or bugs that the steamer could not (all about the suction on the Bissell). And DON’T get complacent. Depending on your level of infestation, repeat anywhere from daily to once a week until you feel you are completely bug/flea free.Pets: I was treating my cat with a super simple generic topical from the local feed store and Adam’s brand Flea shampoo. After finding out about this whole flea ordeal, I did more research and started to treat my cat with a combo of an oral and a topical -Capstar & Cheristin at the same time. But please speak to your vet first! My cat is a chonk (Maine Coon) and I wanted to tackle this from all angles, but safely. On top of all the bug issues this has helped with, it really does the deepest clean without any toxins or chemicals.

My old cheapy Swiffer/Bissell stream mop needed to be replaced, and this Neat steamer caught my eye. The concept of being multi purpose, and not needing disposable pads made it seem worth the extra cost if I could use it for floors, windows, tile, grout, oven, etc.But I find it to be lackluster in both functionality and usability. It’s minimalist design may look cute, but it’s awkward to use. Have to measure the water because there is no indication of how full or not it is. The hose is not detachable and it’s also the “handle” to pull it around, so it doesn’t roll smoothly nor store neatly. There is no easy way to hold and empty this smooth sided cube. And of course there is no where to place attachments, and the underside cord holder is not practical.Maybe those would be minor complaints if I found this to be the true, one tool to clean it all. But it didn’t clean my hardwood, tile, or vinyl floors better than (or equal to) a normal steam mop. It didn’t get soap scum off natural stone shower tile nor the glass doors. It cleaned grout pretty well, but took forever. (Would have been easier to just bleach it.) It cleaned the oven pretty well considering no harsh chemicals and the long wand made that easier than usual. The scrubbing pads and brushes don’t really hold up for multiple uses and they’re just too expensive to be single use. I didn’t find that the attachments worked well for cleaning other surfaces, like baseboards or toilet seats. The brushes are too harsh (damaged finishes) and the blue scrubber pads too thin to contour surfaces or soak up any residue. To me, it’s awkward design and poor usability, higher price point and mediocre results make it something I wouldn’t really recommend. I would stick to a standard, but quick to use and store, steam mop.—–4 month update: I really tried to love this, but instead chose to purchase a normal steam pocket mop for daily cleaning. And half the price. This Neat steamer is really only good for infrequent deep cleaning, like the oven and window tracks. (I havent found any other really good use for it.) Only the small nozzle is powerful enough, but cleaning with a 1 inch square is maddeningly tedious. Took 45 minutes to clean the shower, which could be done by hand in about 15. Still have to wipe everything down while steaming, so I don’t see the hype here. And since floors are the largest surface to clean, basic steam mops are far more convenient in terms of heat times, storage space, and effectiveness. If you clean often, this Neat product may not be for you.

So I bought this steam cleaner out of desperation. We bought house two years ago with tumbled travertine tile with light colored grout throughout the majority of the home. (Insert forehead smack here) I have struggled for two years to keep the floors clean, spending most of my efforts in our kitchen. I have been watching cleaning videos in my war against the grout and stumbled upon steam cleaners. Now, I noticed the most effective steam cleaners appeared to be those that require you spend a decent chunk of change- your $50 handheld isn’t going to do the job. Thus, I did some research and found the Neat. Straight outta the box my lift has changed! I used the grout brush first and followed behind the steam with a microfiber cloth (keep that nasty dirt from seeping back into the grout) and then I used the floor attachment to go over the tiles themselves. Something to note- there are some comments here about the machine not cleaning people’s grout as expected. No steam cleaner is going to magically lift stains from grout or ground in dirt- it takes patience and chemicals combined with steam. You also still need to scrub the tops of your tiles to lift the dirt. The steam cleaner should be your final cleaning step for floors. I also used this on my kitchen sink, oven and walls. All three are sparkling clean and haven’t looked this good since we moved in! Remember when cleaning your oven, it’s going to take a lot of time to lift grease that has burned onto the surfaces. It took me about 45 mins. Also, if you heavy grease splatter on your window- hit that with a degreaser before your steam. All in all- this machine is a BEAST and I would encourage anyone looking to do serious cleaning to snatch it up!

I am going give the most real review from someone who lived with years of depression and laziness. When I was 24, I moved back to my family’s home and lived in their garage apartment. At first I kept things clean but throughout the months I stopped cleaning, I stopped caring. Living with pets in the apartment I was the laziest person. When I hit a huge depressive state I really let things go down hill. The apartment is a huge mess and needs to redone. I was able to remove the carpet everywhere except my room. There are carpet stains that are 10 years old and a constant reminder of what I did. When I bought this machine I had no idea of the capabilities. I started with the living room and worked my way to the kitchen. 10 years worth of filth is gone. I made my way to the restroom and it looks so good. Finally, I made it to my bedroom. I didn’t know if this would work but I wanted to try. After about 2 hours mostly of solution soaking and me scrubbing. The machine was able to take out those stains. There is a faint outline and I wish I took a picture but I didn’t. Those stains are about 80% out. I have had to look at those stains to remind myself of the shame of ruining the apartment but here I am cleaning them out with this machine. This machine has changed the quality my pets and I live. Yes, I still have to remodel the apartment but it’s clean. Nothing has stopped this machine. This machine can handle 10 years of filth, it can handle any mess you have. Friends, if you are leaving in filth because of depression or whatever the situation, you are not alone. Things get better. Days get better and living situations get better. This machine has changed my life, I cannot thank the makers enough.

Wanted to love this product but ultimately ended up returning. I ordered this in hopes of keeping our house clean and sanitized with a newborn but the amount of time it takes to set up and cool down is too long for routine use with small children around. I thought having it would make cleaning everything easier and quicker but that was not the case, cleaning took twice as long using this compared to the various chemicals and machines I had been using. I think if I had older children (or no children) this product would have made more sense and I would have been more likely to find it useful.Pros:-heats up fast-machine is very durable and straight forward to use-replacement parts are not very expensive-long cord for easy maneuvering-comes with a variety of attachments to meet different cleaning needs-cleaned glass shower doors easily and effectively-cleaned the walls easily with the various attachmentsCons:-only ran for long enough to clean two rooms before needing to be refilled, however you have to wait for the whole machine to cool before you can refill which takes awhile (more than 30 minutes in my experience and if you do it too soon you risk hot steam spraying back at you)-attempted to clean grout tiles on floor and shower with little improvement even with the attachment tool meant specifically for it-you still need a vacuum or mop to get up dirt on the floor after the product steams and loosens it-hard to switch out attachments while using due to the heat of the steam

I’ve used many different types of steamers in my time. From cheap clothes steamers to industrial kerosene units. When this unit arrived I wasn’t sure what to expect. Upon opening the box and handling all the pieces, I was very surprised as to the quality of the steamer and all the accessories. They were all of the highest quality and design. The steamer itself produces much more steam and for a longer time than anything that I was expecting. All the attachments fit and work very well. Using it on my tile and grout for the first time, I was amazed at how well it worked. You must bare in mind that steam is steam. It’s more a matter of how it is delivered and what it is used on to determine just how well the machine works. Now I’m looking around the house to see what else I can steam clean as it works so well. The only negative I can give is that there is NO way to see how much water is still left inside the unit while you are working. I never ran out but I would refill it after every 300 sq ft of tile just to be safe. To sum it up, my wife is in love with the machine at this point verses her having her doubts when first ordered.

I need to remember that this steam cleaner is meant to loosen and lift off dirt and grime, not necessarily pick it up. It does an admirable job of cleaning grout between tiles and cleaning soap and mineral residues on my shower head and hose. It likewise did a nice job loosening dirt and buildup on the floor. But in the end I still needed to use a regular mop to actually remove all the grime that the steamer loosened up. So its not a fault of the machine. It did what it is supposed to do and did it noticeably well. It just wasn’t the complete cleanup I was hoping for.It was amazing to see what it DID loosen though especially around the edges of the kitchen sink and the faucets! And the end result was a nearly new looking fixture!. In those jobs it was essential to use a rag in addition to the steamer (the one that you attach to do that job tended to reduce the effectiveness of the steam coming out of the nozzle. It did take a good while for the machine to build up the steam pressure to begin the cleaning. I just used that time to vacuum before I used the machine. Once it had generated the steam it seemed to keep shoot steam even when it needed to reheat the boiler. I did not see any appreciable difference in steam output when this took place.Having the cord storage under the machine made sense from a design standpoint Im sure but I keep forgetting to unwide the cord before I filled the unit with water. Not that a roughly half gallon of water made the machine all that much heavier to lift, it was just an inconvenience.Overall I think, so far, I’m pretty satisfied with this machine, but not as a replacement for my mop. It works in concert with the mop to produce a much cleaner and disinfected home.

This is a review on the Neat steam cleaner after using it for almost 2 years. This machine is now my go-to cleaner for everything I clean in the house from the kitchen stove top to bathroom tiles. It can also be used to steam up the fabric upholstery of my car and can remove the most stubborn stain when paired with a carpet cleaner. My dog once diarrhea-ed on my carpet and I was able to get it out completely using a combination of Neat and suction cleaner. It also comes with a lot of attachments making it easy to clean countertops, floor, kitchen appliances, etc. I mostly use the Neat cleaner as a mop.The only complaint I have about this product is the difficulty of emptying the steamer when there is still water inside. The product description says this is by design but still bothers me to hear the water moving around inside after I’m done emptying the cleaner.

I bought this in September 2024. It is now February 2025, and the part connecting the handle and tube came undone. I don’t pull by the handle, and thankfully the steam didn’t hit any part of my face or body when it happened. However, I expected it to last longer than less than half a year for a $150 product.***Update***Customer service was great. I contacted them through their website, and even though I placed the order through NiceShine, they covered the replacement under warranty. I contacted them on February 4, shipped it back with a free shipping label, and received a replacement on February 24.

I watched a lot of YouTube videos before buying the Neat Steam Cleaner, and I felt like this product was something I could work with. It rolls on wheels, has a long cord, heats up pretty quickly (basically a ‘boiler’ that needs to boil water to create steam), is easy to store, has lots of attachments, and does a pretty darn good job! You need to practice with steam cleaning. I started by using it to clean tile grout and dried paint in my basement. Then I started tackling carpet projects. First was a very nasty dried “slime” blob on my grand daughter’s playroom carpet. Using the spot cleaning attachment and an old washcloth wired-tied over the nozzle, it took almost a half-hour to loosen and break up the dried slime and remove it in small chunks until it was really gone! If you have a dirty rug/carpet, I would ventilate the room, pre-treat the entire carpet with a solution that may include a cleaner like Fabuloso and an agent like ammonia. Let that sit for a while. Spot spray with stain remover like Gonzo or Shout or Oxyclean. Steam clean the entire carpet with distilled water using a microfiber cloth wire-tied to the floor cleaning attachment (rather than the smooth floor pads), slowly (1/4 the speed of vacuuming) in one direction and then again at 90-degrees. It takes about ten minutes to steam clean an 8 x 10 rug. On a monthly basis, you can do a “maintenance” steam clean for high-traffic rugs/carpets. Everything I have tried so far has worked very well. Let the unit cool completely before trying to unscrew the cap. Empty the tank and let the unit air dry until next use.

I Bought a few cheap pressure steamers before realizing how great they are as a tool that does so much around the home .First One from another company the cheap hose blew out after about 2 1/2 hours of using it and had I not thought to wear long sleeve clothing would have had really nasty burns and it was only about 35$A second cheaper than the Dupree by 30$ lasted 6 hours then started to smell plastic /rubber burning smell and it quit. .From the minute you unpack this you feel the quality, then once using it there’s no going back, there will be before this steamer and after as this most likely will become something you are always trying to find a job for and there are many Tubs/ Grout / Stove Tops / Flooring / Ceiling Fans / Sinks / Counters / Automobile / Clothing Bathrooms / it runs about 40 minutes approximately havent actually used a stopwatch .this not only works fantastic makes life easier but is extremely fun to use as you effortlessly knock out the Toughest jobs with ease , so for peace of mind personal safety and something that will last you years if you use distilled water that will instantly become your favorite tool around the home look no further.

I highly recommend this product; my floors look great. It’s super easy to use: fill the tank, then get steaming. The product comes with a number of attachments. The only challenging part is that there isn’t a gauge to tell you how much water is in the tank to avoid overfilling.

I can’t believe ai found out about steam cleaning! At a detail shop I was getting my car interopiorbdone and asked the technician what the white plastic enclosure was. He said “ it’s nothing, you just need elbow grease. “ I realized at once it was a shop secret. Now this little baby does everything from grout to boat upholstery to stuff in between. It’s mindlessly easy to use and remarkably effective.

I ruined my life by buying this. Everything is so dirty! I’m going to spend DAYS deep cleaning everything in my home! Whatever was on the side of my fridge wouldn’t come off, until this thing! So simple! My only complaint is I can’t tell what the water level is and the hole to fill it is pretty small.I made the huge mistake of filling it all the way and telling myself I’d only clean until it ran out… a couple hours later and a big chunk of my “my gosh this needs cleaned!” list was knocked out, it finally stopped streaming! If you have nothing to do and need something to occupy your time – this will do it! I’d definitely buy it again! So satisfying to see everything getting so clean with such ease!

Dupray steam cleaner is made well, not round but square so it fits nicely in the closet. The steam is strong. The attachments are perfect for cleaning various areas and I like using the floor wand attachment that grips the floor pads which are included. My 10 yr old steamer’s tubing was destroyed from wear and was not functional anymore and I needed another that will not fall apart at the handle. I am pleased that my 5 parrots cages are cleaned and sterilized in a cinch! I always use distilled water so sediments from faucet water will not corrode the tank. This water tank is substantial in size too. Very good product imo. I like this !

LOVE this steamer. Easy to use. I purchased a steamer to clean my grout in the bathrooms. BAM – this one did the job great! Plus, with all the attachments I can do more than clean grout. I steam cleaned my floors from muddy/snowy paw prints, cleaned my baseboards, cleaned the kitchen cabinets and stainless steel appliances. I am waiting for winter weather to break so I can work on my windows. This steamer says it can do a car interior too, so I will try that out soon. No complaints here. Works great. I did use distilled water to fill the tank. It does take about 8 min +/- to heat up. I did purchase extra mop pads and rounded pads so I can do more work with the steamer. I did watch about 4-5 YouTube videos of people using it before I purchased this model. The YouTube videos I watched were accurate and helpful.

Full disclosure, I have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and an autistic teenager. This works very well. The nail polish streak marks on the shutters that I couldn’t scrub off manually, finally came off. The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t use tap water. Pain in the butt to have to keep mineralized water or distiller water on hand but the end result makes it worth it . I love how easily I can clean the walls, especially the in he rooms with ceilings my fans! Highly recommend.

As someone in their 5th month of pregnancy, I appreciate that I can sit in a chair and do the grout cleaning. Way better than scrubbing with baking soda and vinegar while sitting on floor (was doing this for 70% of the house). Laundry room was the worst (first two photos) and took longer since grout was initially just about black. I was able to do kitchen touch ups (had already done the big once over with a scrub drill brush before I purchased this), hallway, bathroom and laundry room with just one fill of the water. I did use a vacuum/mop combo alongside this since the grout attachment was on the machine and I read enough of the instructions to know I would scald my hand if switching the attachment mid clean (without turning off machine). Note in kitchen before pic has gunk by island in the grout.

Love this. I’ve had it a while and used it to deep clean our tile shower, my kid’s bathroom, and my gas range and it worked great each time. Pretty much melted the soap scum off the shower walls and the built-up grease on the marble backsplash behind the stove. I need to purchase more of the cloth covers so that I can tackle more in one go, especially the floors. It rolls easily and is not too heavy for me to carry inbetween rooms even when full, and I’m not exactly in great physical condition. The handle on top is very convenient. Appreciate the two extension poles. Everything clicks together easily and there is a button you can push to keep from having to continuously hold the steam trigger, which is nice since I have hand issues.

I love it! I am obsessed with it!If you need higher temperature, you should look for something else. For what I need it works perfectly and safe. I love cleaning my walls to remove any odors accumulated from cooking and kitchen cabinets for the same reason. I washed my carpet in the living room and at the end I steamed it to disinfect and make sure no odor is trapped inside. I used it for couple of days, so far no issues. You need to follow the instructions to make sure it works properly and also not get hurt. I gave 4 ⭐️ because it needs improvements: the hose should be attached to the top of the unit, same with the cord. It’s made out of cheap plastic, when you push the On button it bends the wall of the unit, but I like that the light weight. It needs a pole where to rest the hose while waiting, or even storing, same for the cord can be hung on it (get inspired from the profesional clothing steamers).

For the price, this is the best little steam cleaner out there. The steam lock feature saves my arthritic hands from fatigue and the constant steam output is steady and long lasting. The mopping attachment will take ANY cloth that you can fit on it, it’s much quieter than its predecessor and it’s cute as a button. The drawbacks are: power cord is a little short. It takes a long time to heat up. There is no where convenient to store the tools. Otherwise, it’s my favorite steam cleaner ever!

I only give this a 4 cause I though it would clean my couch where my dog sets to get rid of the doggie smell but it didn’t😩 it does however clean stainless steal great! It does walls great. I wanna try my shower floor but it’s clean right now. On shinny wall tile it does great, you just need to wipe it with a micro fiber cloth before it dries.

The steamer is fantastic. There are a few issues I cannot get over. 1. The cord gets tucked away under the machine. What a nightmare to wrap up when finished. You have to hold the machine up to wrap the cord! 2. No way to determine how much water is in the machine. You’ll be guessing the entire time. Very inconvenient when doing a big project, as it’s hard to plan. 3. The wheels seem like a great function, however, the only way to move the machine is to walk over to it and move it by the handle otherwise you are pulling it by the hose which may cause wear and tear quickly. Aside from these MAJOR caveats, the machine is a beast. Works great, just hate the inconveniences it come with.

This works excellently. I have three kids and two large dogs… it’s easy for our floors to get messy. I wish it warmed up a little faster so I didn’t have to wait – but that’s a me thing with patience. Excellent product, reading about the attachments is especially useful, we’ve utilized every single one. Bathroom tiles, kitchen floors, cleaning our walls even! Amazing product – highly recommend…. I’ve literally told multiple friends and family about this product. If you wish to have scent, mix water and your preference of essential oil in a spray bottle, spray on the surface as you steam after. My family enjoys peppermint (keeps spiders out), eucalyptus (for allergies), and tea tree.

Absolutely love this product. I’ve used it all over my house and it works great. I really loved using the function to steam fabric like my couch and dining room chairs. I was amazed to see what came off of them. It did take about 8 minutes to heat up for use which is as described in the manual. I love the wheels at the bottom which makes it easy to transfer from room to room. Very high quality product and durable.

Dupray just replaced my 3 year old machine that leaked and tripped my breaker when I plugged it in. It was an easy, pain-free warranty claim. I had to return old machine, they paid all shipping costs, and a new machine was shipped and received in 2 business days. One of the easiest transactions ever. I love having my machine back!

This is hands down the best cleaning purchase I’ve ever made. We have a very busy house with lots of pets and a couple kids and we’re a homeschool family which means a lot more traffic in the home than usual. We cook multiple times a day and we end up with grease on the ceiling over the oven in every house we live in. I’ve never had a great way to get it off. I tried it and it was the easiest it’s ever been. Just a few passes and I was done. I’ve used it for basic things like floors and walls and it works great but I’ve used it to clean an old mattress and crevices that I could never get clean like in the bathrooms and baseboards.I’m a little crazy about cleanliness and I’ve never had something that made it so easy. I’ve been able to get rid of smells that plagued our house.Highly recommend!

I bought this steam cleaner mainly for cleaning my birds’ cages, and it exceeded my expectations. It cleans off the dust, food crumbs, and occasional poop very well. The time it takes to heat up the water is shorter than I’d imagined; it only takes about 5 minutes, and a full tank lasts me a long time for the size of the cleaner.

The heating mop is quite expensive. But their customer service has been doing great job by resolved my issues 2 times.1st was the mop head, maybe it was due to over heat. The clip keep fell off. Customer service send me a replacement. 2nd time, little bit more than 1 year use, boiler cap can’t tight up and hose is ripped. After contact for warranty, they provide a shipping label, send it back for replacement. Few days ago, I received my replacement.

I have had this unit for seven years. It is an excellent floor cleaner. I am 90 years old and have had eight different aids who have used this and Marvel at its ability to clean. One aid bought the unit for herself as well and was completely satisfied. However, her husband filled the tank with city water instead of distilled water and ruined the unit. You must use distilled water or filtered water rather than normal city water. Follow the directions and you will have a great experience with your Dupre steam cleaner.

fantastic, does a great job and provides lots of steam for cleaning. I filled it to clean a bathroom after a sick pet and ended up taking it around the whole house just to use up all the steam. the 8 mins to heat up seemed to take longer than that but idk, i wasn’t timing it and was probably just impatient. the accessories are helpful, i like the long hose and wheels on the bottom. i would remove half a star just for the cord wrap being on the underside because its a bit of a pain to get to but otherwise i’m happy with this purchase.

Was skeptical about performance of such a small steamer. Finally gave it a try. Cleaned about 1000 square feet of 3 year old light gray grout. Took me about total 4 hrs for the whole area. Used about 2 gallons of distilled water. Have to admit I did sprinkle some bartender helper powder on the tiles in some really tough areas. It did wonderful. I only used one extension and a small nylon brush (which changed its shape after first 30 mins of use) The grout is back to its original light gray color. Recommended it to my sister, their tiles are 15+ years old. Im happy with this purchase. Have not figured out how to empty the boiler if its not in use. I hope it lasts long enough.

Will update if anything goes wrong but as of right now I feel lucky to have this item.It does not, however, descale windows as I had hoped but it does clean them very well otherwise. Haven’t found anything else it “doesn’t ” do.*edit. 2 days later. Today I cleaned the main rug, and this little fella gave me 45 full throttle minutes of consistently hot steam! Pics. Right side was cleaned leaving the left dirty. Not a trick of light or editing, it really cleaned the rug!

This thing is AMAZING! It puts out a lot of steam, it’s easy to fill, easy to maneuver because it has wheels, and it has tons of accessories. This is going to help me clean areas of my home that have been difficult in the past, such as fabric furniture, the sliding door jamb, and the bathroom ceiling around the vent where mildew tends to accumulate. I’m also looking forward to cleaning my floors with it!That being said, I wish I had ordered the accessory bag because I can’t seem to fit everything back into the shipping box. I just finished using this machine to clean a horribly nasty Cuisinart toaster oven. I have owned this oven for two years. I have used oven cleaner baking soda to very disappointing results. Therefore, I have (because the fumes are horrific) not cleaned the oven for 1 year. Good machine! I’m used to getting pretty low-quality manufactured goods these days, but I was surprised by the overall quality of this steamer. It works great! The design is intelligent and efficient. It takes a few minutes to heat up, but that’s true of all steamers. Once it is up to steam, it keeps going without wimping out. The handles and extensions do not transmit too much heat to the user. The heat coming out of the end is excellent. It removed stains from my toilet that the chemical cleaners and a toilet brush wouldn’t touch. Very impressive. I won’t be buying chemical cleaners anymore! I steamed my shower after reading somebody had found that worked better than the chemicals, too. Yay! Less chemicals and better results. Worth the money and should last well. Holed 1.2 liters of distilled water. Runs about 40-50 minutes on one fill. And it gets rid of wrinkles in clothes, too. Bonus!

As a professional cleaner, I bought the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner in October 2024 hoping to tackle tough jobs with a little less elbow grease, and it has exceeded my expectations! I work at an old B&B with incredibly stubborn bathroom tubs that the new owners thought were beyond saving. Forget harsh chemicals and endless scrubbing – this steamer, paired with a Magic Eraser, made those tubs look brand new! Oven cleaning, another dreaded task, is now a breeze. But the real win? This has become my everyday go-to, both professionally and at home. I have a client with severe chemical sensitivities, and the Dupray leaves her house sparkling with just a fresh, clean scent. Inspired, I now use it exclusively in my own home with my pets and baby – quick sanitizing, sticky finger removal, and couch cleaning are now effortless thanks to the awesome attachments.Yes, the cube shape is a tad bulky (get a bag!), and the under-mounted cord can be annoying as it unwraps easily. Durability is impressive though – it survived a tumble down the stairs! I do wish it came with two of the scrubbing attachments as the bristles can bend. Thankfully, I haven’t had any water leakage, though it can sometimes spray hot water instead of steam if left sitting.**Update:** A couple of days ago, the extension arm broke (most likely my fault!), but the seller’s response was incredibly fast. They shipped a replacement to me, which I received within two days of contacting them! Their customer service is truly amazing. Overall, this steam cleaner is a powerhouse for any cleaning job, backed by fantastic support!”

At first I was a little skeptical and thought I’d fallen for the tik tok hype with steam cleaners, but then I used it to clean my bathroom and let me tell you… the hype is real! This thing is amazing and gets rid of all the dirt and grim in those hard to reach or hidden spaces. It comes with a bunch of helpful tools and a handle extender so you can use it as a mop or reach high places. It is on the bigger side but it’s super light weight and has wheels on the bottom so it just drags alongside you rather than you needing to carry it. It has made my house so clean and think it is 10000% worth the money. 1000/10 recommend.See pictures for the before and after using it under my washing machine.

This is a fantastic tool that is easy to use. It takes 8 minutes for the water to heat to the appropriate level. It is small and compact making it perfect for our RV. I love knowing things are very clean despite living with pets. It works well using our RV power system and I have no concerns about it leaking. The unit is so well sealed, I can tip it over and it does not leak. We did order the carrying bag which is very convenient and keeps things organized. The accessory kit is convenient though I do wish there was another metal scrub head included. The one that was included was consumed with my first big project, but I was cleaning commercial grout tile which had not been done for years. It did a great job cleaning it, though, so I will be buying a couple of replacement heads. I was also able to use this on my cabinets, the RV toilet, sinks, etc.. It did a fantastic job on the floors, too! I am thrilled with this and definitely would recommend it.

As mentioned in title, DO NOT BUY THE DUPRAY NEAT STEAM CLEANER – THE COMPANY MAKES IT AS HARD AS POSSIBLE FOR THE CUSTOMER, IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH IT! I only had the steam cleaner for less than a year, when it all of a sudden it didn’t work as well as it always had! I was told it was still under warranty, and not to worry! Which sounded wonderful, of course! I used it often, meaning as soon as it stopped producing the high heat, and only spit out luke warm vapor, it was obvious it had a problem and no longer was working correctly. So! I called the company, and told them about how while it was still shooting out the water vapor as usual (or how it should- as I know, because it was a tool I found to be very useful to have around the house, especially with stainless steel appliances, and all the little fingerprints that come with having those! I ended up using it way more than I thought I initially would! So yes, to having a good steam cleaner in the house! Just…not this brand, as I’ve learned customer service makes it as hard as they can for you to be able to get it fixed, especially if you are a little older and not of the generation that is a tech savvy!) That it although it IS producing the steam vapor, it ISN’T producing the heat anymore, and that is essential for a steam cleaner to work effectively! I discussed all of this over the phone with them… and I said, can I send you a video to your email, or send it through a text somehow to you? How about I make a video of it, and stick my hand right in front of where the boiling steam should be – I said, if it was working as it should, there would be no way for me to put my hand anywhere in front of it, without being hurt and it causing pain… I said that is the only way I can think of proving it to you that it isn’t working correctly, other than just boxing it up and shipping it to you for you to open it up and check to.find out that it’s not working, and what to do to fix it. Here’s where I got upset. As I’ve mentioned, I am not very techy. I can push a button to order something, but that’s about the extent of my abilities. Instead of making it simple where I could maybe figure out how to email it directly to them… they wanted me to go to a whole new program/system thing, and sign up to use something called Dropbox. I followed directions, and did just what they said. I spent time uploading my video, all for them to tell me nothing was sent… so I had my husband sit down and help me, and when I asked if they received it…still said no! I was like, okay…neither me or husband isn’t doing it right… let me ask my niece… she took over for me… said they still are getting a blank video. I asked my cousin when she came over if she could figure it out for me, and told her all that we did on our end, and she couldn’t figure it out either. By this time, the free trial of Dropbox had expired, and I was not going to pay for a new subscription, just for the Dupray company to MAYBE make things right. I figure, at this point I can just use the money for a Dropbox subscription that I obviously don’t even know how to use, and put that money instead toward a DIFFERENT brand of steam cleaner that I am obviously now going to have to buy. They said they were getting a notifications or whatever, but that no video was ever included…. at that point, I realized they were “never going to “receive” the video – wink, wink. Some good amount of time has passed now, and I am in need of purchasing a good steam cleaner, since after they figured out that sending me to a different place (Dropbox) in order to send them a video of it not working, wasn’t able to happen they should have made other suggestions…ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS… even telling me to ship it to them… even if it ended up not being able to be fixed, it would not have mattered if they didn’t want to ship it back to me, as it’s literally worthless, since it isn’t producing hot vapor! Instead, a few months has passed since all of this, and I am finding myself in the market to purchase a steam cleaner yet again. I will be looking in detail to buy one that has great customer service reviews, and that backs their product easily, without sending their customers on what felt like a wild goose chase! I will not be buying or supporting DUPRAY brand again after this, as they never wanted to make things right, even with it being under warranty! I will include one of the videos I made to send to them, that they supposedly never got. If this information was helpful at all, please give it a “like” at the bottom, so I know spending my time writing all this was worth it and hopefully helped somebody! Thanks!

This steamer is a life changer I purchase it a few month ago and I can definitely say that I regret that I didn’t purchase it earlier.

Get it! This machine is incredible! im absolutely shocked at how easy stains on doors I’ve had for years just melted off like butter.i tried different products but this did the job. Extremely happy with my purchase.if it ever breaks down I’ll purchase it again. Only thing I wish it had something to hold the steamer when not in use but it’s okay! 😊 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an EXCELLENT steamer. I had researched several other products prior and this was the winner. The steam is consistent and it runs super well. Highly recommend.

Do not waste your time trying to buy one of those <$100 stick steamers that you see on here. I purchased two different versions here on NiceShine and ended up breaking both as neither one could hold up to a rigorous cleaning.Frustrated, I decided to see what else the market offered and came across Dupray and Nest! Wow – I’m pretty much blown away at how amazing this steamer cleaner is and the clear evidence of thought and intentionality that went into its build. Has a hidden handle as well as keeps the retractable power cord hidden underneath. Also has zero-turn wheels. It comes with several cleaning attachments and due to its slim size, is easy to keep stored in my cabinet – which was the most important selling point for me. The attachments are also slim enough to store in my IKEA box. Because the steamer has a very clean, modern, and aesthetic look, I knew my search was over. Very, very pleased with this purchase!Because my condo is barely 650 sq ft, I opted to get the one without the storage case/additional attachments. Takes me roughly 10 minutes to fully clean and about 5 minutes to clean up and put away.

I like the steamer. I wish there were more attachments for additional length, my back hurts after steaming floors. Also there should be an on and off button for steamer instead of having to continuously press the button to keep steam going. My hand hurts from that and button needs pressure to hold down. Also the squeegee for mirrors and windows needs to be a little more flexible for easier cleaning. Way too stiff. The grout attachments didn’t work, one of them made the grout black from the metal coils or whatever it is.I love the design of the cube!

The one cleaning tool to end all other cleaning tools. The perfect cleaning companion that can tackle a surprisingly diverse array of needs. Works well to clean items that no other product has done before. Heats up in about 8 minutes, and has a very large water reservoir, so refills and downtime are sparse.Used for 45 minutes and never had to stop or refill. Just needed to swap out the attachments to tackle all the various appliances and surfaces are the house. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.
