The media could not be loaded. Well, the product itself is cute. The battery life is an issue It needs to be charged every single day. It does not maintain a charge more than eight hours.Water sensor notifications are lacking. It appears that you would have to buy into a phone plan in order to get notifications which is weird. I like it enough not to return it

I bought Ivy (another brand of the same item sold here) and I am not impressed. It does not grow plants well. It’s cool to have a couple of IOT sensors on the shelf to tell me how much light one shelf is getting, but the soil moisture sensor never works, the water level cannot be measured, the battery dies after 1 day so it must be constantly plugged in, the WiFi connection is easy but my lack of trust in these no name electronics makes me wonder how much it’s spying on my network. Also, the touch sensors are not sensitive to touch when the device is plugged in, so to do the cutesy touch gesture to make it smile, you need to unplug the USB, interact with the touch sensors, then plug it back in so it won’t die in the next 24 hrs. The ceramic beads included as top dressing are annoying and get all over the floor on stick to your feet. This thing really sucks all around.

This product looked like a perfect birthday give, it was perfect at the start but once it ran out of charge it was never able to charge again effectively making it worthless. Another issue was the sheer price 84 dollar is just too much for a plant pot. Over all the produce was bad.

I have a difficult time keeping my plants alive. I heard of this product and thought it was super cute. I figured, "Why not" try something that will allow me to finally keep my plant alive? I chose an easy succulent that was not toxic for my cats and could be kept in my office. This Smart Flowerpot is so cute with its facial expressions. The facial expressions will change according to the holidays. You can create your own expressions if you choose to (you need to use a computer and can't do it on the app). It comes with an app that keeps you informed on the health of the plant, including water level, light level, air temperature, and humidity.The face of the flowerpot can be changed to either the expressions or the date and time. There is even a Pomodoro Timer option to help your work productivity. It has touch "bars" on the sides that do different functions on the flowerpot.Overall, I can finally keep a plant alive with this flowerpot! The app tells me when to add more water as it "drinks" from the bottom.The only problem is that the pot for the plant is small, so I had to find a tiny succulent that would fit. I would really love it if they created a much larger smart flowerpot that I could place in another room and actually plant regular-sized flowers in.
