The Roborock Saros Z70 is a wonderful companion and a bit of a life saver. Maintaining a household with kids, pets, and husband who can¡¯t seem to figure out where to put his shoes can be crazy, but this But the Roborock Saros Z70 saves the day. The robot with makes it floors pristine, moves my husbands shoes to their proper place with its arm, and handles my dogs hair like a pro. The arm is an incredible feature I have been using it to create zones for shows and also testing it out collecting dog toys, socks, and tissues. Roborock says they are going to be adding more things the robot can interact with using the arm and I am greatly looking forward to that. The robots cleaning ability is truly spectacular. It has edge sweeping and mopping that makes reaching places that normal robotic vacuums struggle to get to a breeze. The vacuum gets under the edges of cabinets and tight corner spaces. The device has truly minimized my need for manual mopping and cleans up muddy paw prints and my husband¡¯s muddy foot prints with ease. The obstacle avoidance and detection are excellent its identifies moves, and avoids all the things it should. The Roborock Saros Z70¡¯s ability to lift its self over thresholds, and furniture with U shaped legs is awesome. It navigates extremely well. The all in one dock that removes the mop pads when they are being cleaned saves time and the robot does a great job just plain cleaning as it should. All fully customizable through the app. You can specify no go zones pet areas. On the note of pets, the vacuum will take cute snapshots of you pet as it sees them through the day and you can use the camera to look for them or check on the home throughout the day.Overall, the Roborock Saros Z70 is a great device and I would buy another in a heartbeat. The robot saves me so much time and the arm really is very helpful. This is the best robot I have ever used and I have had other Roborock vacuums which were also good in all fairness. It truly is a one stop cleaning solution with the self emptying dock, arm for organizing, and the mopping. If you are considering this robot, get it you will love it!

Roborock continues to innovate and impress.Coming from the S8 MaxV Ultra, I was worried that this wouldn¡¯t be worth the upgrade.I was pleasantly mistaken. It has over twice the suction power of the S8. A lower profile to get in and out of tight spaces and I do like the dual mop system. It is quieter than the S8, and completes the cleaning a little faster. The dock is a little more streamlined. And regarding the reason that I bought this. The arm.I could have gone with the Saros 10r, but I do like having that feature.Even though it won¡¯t get a lot of use. And you are also able to manually control it via the app.Which is a nice touch.Initial setup was a challenge. You have to make sure that your phone is on a 2.4ghz WiFi network. If your phone is on a 5ghz network, setup will fail.I am extremely satisfied with the initial performance.Looking forward to more items being added to the z70 arm¡¯s recognition.

This is an amazing product. I was shocked by the quality and the design of the product. First of all, it can complete the task perfectly, we did a test on a room with full of cat fur, and we haven¡¯t cleaned it for about a month. And after the cleaning, it was like, NEW! Secondly, it has a smart detector for stairs, we use it for the second floor and I don¡¯t need to worry about it falling off the stairs. And very cute that it has its own light to see clear underneath the bed. And I love the feature of camera view a lot! I have the feeling of living in the sci-fi for the first time ever! And the robot arm shocked me, it can pick the large garbage like the paper ball or chip bags.

I upgraded from the Roborock S7+ and wow¡ the Z70 is on another level. It doesn¡¯t just clean ¡ª it interacts with your space. The mechanical arm is legit. It doesn¡¯t just pop up with a camera (which is already cool), it can actually pick up small objects. I¡¯ve watched it grab trash and drop it into the bin, and even lift a shoe and place it neatly onto the shoe rack. Never thought I¡¯d see that from a home robot. It also automatically detaches the mop pads before going onto rugs, which means no more soaked carpets or mop-streaks in weird places. It handles everything on its own ¡ª mopping, drying the pads, emptying the bin. I used to have to wash the mop cloth on my S7+ every day, which got old fast. Now? I just come home and it¡¯s done. No more wet pads lying around, no more babysitting. The only thing I have to do is refill the water tank every now and then, and that¡¯s it. I¡¯m genuinely happy every time I walk into a clean house knowing I didn¡¯t lift a finger. It¡¯s the first time a robot vacuum has actually made me feel like I¡¯m living in the future.

Let¡¯s be real: you¡¯re reading this review to learn about the arm. Long story short, it works. It definitely has Doc Ock vibes where there¡¯s actually a camera at the end of the arm, and you can control the arm manually so you can make it do weird dances, but at the end of the day, does it pick things up? Yes. Can you make video calls with the arm? Also yes, but the camera quality on it is slightly iffy so you¡¯re trading off versatility of where the camera is for quality.?Regarding everything else? It¡¯s just more of the same but better. There¡¯s what looks to be some kind of ceiling pointed camera in addition to everything else (compared to the S8), so it should have less trouble forgetting where it is. Also the mop has changed from the vibration scrubber to rotating scrubbers.?I¡¯ve had a ton of robot vacuums prior to this one, and most of them have been Roborock. The reason why? The App. Almost every other robovac company out there has buggy apps that rotate your house map or accidently delete it¡Âall because you moved your dining table 3 inches to the left one day. Roborock¡¯s apps have consistently been excellent and unproblematic which is why I stick with the brand.?At the end of the day, the arm is a nice touch (honestly, I¡¯m not sure exactly how useful it will be day to day, but it is very cool!), but I stick with this brand because out of every other brand of robovacs I¡¯ve used, this is the only one that doesn¡¯t ever make me consider whipping out the old handheld vac instead.

We¡¯ve had the Roborock Z70 for just a couple of days, and I can already tell it¡¯s a game changer¡ªespecially compared to our Q Revo Pro upstairs, which we already loved. The Z70 is smarter, quieter, and packed with fun features that actually make cleaning a little exciting. We use it on our first floor, which is the messiest area thanks to a toddler, a cat, and lots of home cooking. Crumbs, fur, sticky food¡ªthis vacuum handles it all. The advanced mapping is incredibly accurate. After meals, I just tap the dining area on the app and it goes right there, no extra setup. That kind of precision is exactly what busy parents need.Compared to the Q Revo Pro, the Z70 is noticeably quieter¡ªwhether it’s vacuuming, emptying the dust bin, or drying the mop. That¡¯s a big plus when you¡¯ve got a baby napping or a pet skittish about loud machines. And then there are the fun extras: this thing comes with a built-in camera, so you can watch its cleaning path or even drive it manually from your phone. You can also control the robotic arm manually, and there¡¯s even a ¡°find pet¡± mode that locates your furry friend¡ªlike a pet tracking robot, but with cleaning power.I¡¯ve only scratched the surface with some of these features, but it¡¯s already a joy to use. If you¡¯ve got a hectic household and want a powerful cleaner that¡¯s also kind of entertaining, the Z70 is a fantastic pick.Another bonus: Roborock¡¯s app is excellent. It¡¯s intuitive, responsive, and switching between multiple robots (like our Z70 and Q Revo Pro) is seamless. Makes managing cleaning across different floors super easy.

I¡¯ve been using Roborock vacuums for years, and after upgrading from the S8 MaxV Ultra to the Saros Z70, I¡¯m seriously impressed. The Saros Z70 handles small items like socks effortlessly. This means I spend less time prepping rooms and more time enjoying clean floors. The cleaning power is noticeably better too. Plus, the dual mop pads leave my luxury vinyl planks shining and streak-free every time.Navigating around furniture and tight spaces is another area where the Saros Z70 shines. It moves smoothly and bumps into fewer obstacles than my old vacuum, making the cleaning process quieter and less intrusive.Using the app is straightforward and user-friendly. Scheduling cleaning sessions or setting up virtual barriers has never been simpler, helping me keep the vacuum working exactly where I need it.The silver color is nicer than the white color I had before. Looks like stainless steel appliance you¡¯d have in a kitchen.Overall, the Saros Z70 has made my life easier and my home cleaner. If you¡¯re on the fence about upgrading or buying your first robotic vacuum, I highly recommend giving this model a try! This is the robot of the future and can¡¯t wait for future iterations! Roborock has been delivering some awesome products for sure!

I¡¯ve been using the Saros Z70 for a couple of days now, and honestly, I¡¯m impressed. I own the Roborock S8, which I thought was already great in terms of cleaning and AI. Back then, I didn¡¯t think there was much left to improve until I saw the Z70.The robotic arm caught my eye right away. It looked so futuristic I just had to try it. After using it, I can say the arm is definitely cool to watch, especially when it moves things like slippers out of the way. It¡¯s not super fast yet and still limited in what it can recognize, but I¡¯m hoping future updates will improve that. What really surprised me, though, are the improvements beyond the arm. The new design is more compact, and now it can fit under my low sofa and cabinet, places my old s8 could not reach. It also climbs over my bathroom door threshold with no problem, so now the bathroom gets cleaned too. That alone is a big win.Obstacle avoidance also seems better. It hasn¡¯t gotten stuck on any cables so far, at least during the daytime. I haven¡¯t tested it in low light yet.Overall, I¡¯m really happy with it. Even without the arm, the upgrades are solid. And when you add the arm, it just feels like something from the future. Super fun to watch, even when it¡¯s just tidying up little things.

I¡¯ve really been enjoying the Saros Z70! I¡¯m coming from the QRevo Master which is also a great product but it¡¯s clear the Z70 is far ahead! Several of the positives I¡¯ve enjoyed so far include the robot arm! It is impressive how Roborock was able to package the robot arm into an already slim size vacuum. It¡¯s pretty effective at picking up socks/shoes etc. Lifting the mops 22mm when going over carpet. (The QRevo master is 10mm), 0mm edge cleaning. Another huge aspect is the Anti-Tangle system with the rollers. QRevo Master is effective but clearing out the rollers is a must after each cleaning. With the Z70 that¡¯s no longer necessary. It¡¯s also rather impressive how low the noise level is on the robot given a suction of 22,000 Pa. I appreciate the intelligence of the Z70 with Starsight 2.0 which makes the navigation very smooth. . Completely avoids wires entirely. If you haven¡¯t used the Roborock app, it¡¯s easy to use to define if you want to clean the entire house or specific to certain rooms or zones. Last thing I forgot to mention is the ability to automatically disengage the mop heads at the base and auto-leave them there should you wish to do a vacuum only. Overall I¡¯ve been very impressed with the Z70 so far and I can comfortably say it is definitely worth the investment.

Excellent robot vaccum. I have S7 max and i am replacing it with Saros Z70. I am impressed with in the first hour itself.Easy to setup and took me 30 minutes for complete setup. And enabled the magic robot arm. The standout feature is the OmniGrip mechanical arm. Its game changing. I have tried with a plastic bag came with vacuum and it moved it to the bin.I have also tried the remote control pick up and move it to the bin. Its super easy and i am impressed with the view from the mobile app.I was able to easily connect it to wifi and set it up. Overall all the functionalities are crazy.I loved the look and design of the new model. Nothing visible to the eye and has a clean glass front. And the noise is less compared to my s7 max. And loved the round mop spins compared to the s7 max mop.the Saros Z70 is a significant investment. While it offers a glimpse into the future of smart home cleaning, potential buyers should weigh its innovative features against its current practical limitations. It powerful 22,000Pa suction and dual spinning mop pads that can lift to avoid wetting carpets.Overall its an amazing product with great features. I am replacing my s7 max and keeping the saros Z70.

I recently got the Roborock Saros Z70. It¡¯s been a total game-changer in my daily routine. This little gadget isn’t just a vacuum; it’s like having a tiny helper zipping around, tidying up while I kick back. I’m sure it won’t be long before my favorite word becomes ¡°Hello Rocky¡±.One of the coolest features is the OmniGrip arm. It’s this nifty little appendage that picks up small stuff like socks or toys that usually get in the way. Sure, it’s not flawless¡ªsometimes it misses a thing or two¡ªbut it’s a step towards a truly hands-free cleaning experience. It is helpful for family with little kids and dogs. We got toys everywhere.Cleaning-wise, the Z70 is a beast. With its powerful suction and dual spinning mops, it handles everything from dust bunnies to pet hair without breaking a sweat. Plus, its slim design means it can sneak under furniture where dirt loves to hide. The docking station is another win¡ªit empties the dustbin, washes the mop, and even dries it with hot air. what a low maintenance! In short, the Roborock Saros Z70 has made my life a whole lot easier. It’s like having a diligent little helper that keeps my place clean, so I can focus on more important things. Not to mention there are a lot of languages choices, so I can talk to Rocky in the language that I am most comfortable with!

The Roborock Saros Z70 is hands down the smartest and most efficient cleaning robot I¡¯ve ever used. From the moment I unboxed it, everything felt premium and well-designed. The AI-powered customization is simply amazing ¡ª being able to label and define up to 50 new objects in the app gives me full control over how and where it cleans. It doesn¡¯t just clean ¡ª it learns and adapts to my preferences. The cleaning performance is outstanding. The Z70 easily navigates under furniture thanks to its ultra-slim 3.14″ design, and the suction power is more than enough to tackle dust, pet hair, and debris in one pass. Its multifunctional dock is a game changer ¡ª hot water mop washing and drying, automatic dust emptying, detergent dispensing ¡ª everything is hands-free and hygienic. I haven¡¯t touched the mop or dustbin in weeks! As a pet owner, I absolutely love the pet-friendly features. The robot recognizes my pets and avoids scaring them by pausing the main brush. It even boosts suction in pet zones and can take adorable pet photos. The video call and pet search functions are surprisingly useful and fun.The integration with the Roborock app is seamless. SmartPlan 2.0, multi-level mapping, and ¡°Hello Rocky¡± voice control make daily operation super easy. Even without Wi-Fi, I can give commands using the built-in voice assistant. I also appreciate the upcoming Matter support, which will make smart home integration even better.Overall, the Saros Z70 is a perfect combination of power, intelligence, and user-friendly design. It cleans better than any vacuum I¡¯ve used and makes my life easier every day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier robot vacuum ¡ª especially pet owners!

Okay, so is the robot arm a gimmick? Maybe a little at this point, as the items it can handle are limited…but this is such a cool leap forward in home automation technology, and I am sure they will improve it over time..I have owned several Roborock robot vacuums, as well as a wet/dry vacuum. Even if we ignore the super dope robot arm, this is still by far the best one I have owned. They have made a quantum leap forward in the suction department, but somehow it is quieter in every aspect than the S8 MaxV Ultra I owned previously. And the spinning mop pads do a WAY better job at cleaning my wood floors than the regular static mop pad. The fact that the vacuum can drop off and pick up the mop pads at the base station is incredible as well. The docking station is very similar to previous models: easy access clean and dirty water bins on top, with a front panel that removes to expose the dust bag and the detergent basin. From what I can tell so far, the docking station will be much easier to clean than previous models.All-in-all, the Saros Z70 is worth every dollar of the flagship price, for a piece of technology that feels like it’s from the future.

I¡¯ve heard so many great reviews about this vacuum cleaner, but every time I opened the product link and saw the price, I would quietly close the page in shock. Finally, now that we¡¯ve bought a new house, I decided to get it to go with our new home.It was delivered by two NiceShine delivery people because it¡¯s quite heavy. The setup was a bit more challenging than I expected, but it was manageable if you followed the instructions step by step. Once you get through the setup, everything else is a breeze! The suction power and cleaning performance are truly impressive. We have three young kids and two dogs, and it cleans so thoroughly that I never have to go over the same spot twice, even on carpet! Yes, the carpet comes out super clean thanks to the powerful suction. As for mopping, it automatically detects carpets and lifts the mop pads, so it won¡¯t mop over them or get them wet at all. Very smart!Lastly, for families with small children, this vacuum is an absolute lifesaver. It comes with a robotic arm that can pick up light items like socks and stuffed animals during cleaning, and then place them aside before finishing the job. Super helpful!

Pros:* The OmniGrip arm arm has a lot of potential and can be super helpful when it works. Roborock has a history of regular firmware updates, so this will get better with time.* This robot cleans very well. My carpets, hardwood floors, laminate, and tile floors have never looked better.* Between its ability to avoid carpets and rugs while mopping, leaving the mop heads behind while vacuuming, and raising the mop heads when going over carpets or rugs it cannot avoid, I’ve never had it get rugs or carpets wet, even some relatively high-pile carpets. I’ve never had a robot vacuum do so good a job at this.* There is a tank especially for mopping floor cleaning solution and you can use your own preferred cleaner.* At just over 3.1 inches tall, this can get under furniture my other robots vacs never could.* The vacuum is really good at handling changes (even major ones) in rooms without requiring you to retrain the map.* This feels like it is built to last. Everything is solid and well-designed.* AI object recognition works really well generally, though it could be improved through firmware even more. See cons below.* Finally, a dock that really fulfills the promise of letting you ignore your robot vacuum for an extended period of time if you need to.* As part of that, the dock does an excellent job of cleaning both itself and the vacuum and mop heads.* It can automatically heat water and air as needed, all you need to do is full the dock with clean water and occasionally empty the dirty water tank and replaceable dock dust bag.* There’s a version that can hook directly up to your plumbing, so you have even less to do, but I don’t have that version.* You can choose to let the vacuum figure out how to best clean your floors every time with no intervention or you can micromanage everything and fine-tune how every room gets cleaned individually.* You can add or remove cleaning areas on the fly without having to cancel the current cleaning plan.* There are some thoughtful security and privacy features.* The obstacle avoidance works really well and you can adjust it to make it even more careful.* The vacuum handles raised thresholds like a boss.* Finally! A robot vacuum with fully-functional Matter support. This means you can use it with ANY smart speaker that supports the Matter protocol. Apple, NiceShine, Google, etc. You can control your vacuum through any of them (even if you have all of them in your house at the same time).* There is an on-board voice assistant too. It does all of its voice recognition and processing locally, so nothing goes to Roborock. This does mean the onboard assistant isn’t as flexible as smart speakers tend to be, but you can tell the vacuum to do almost anything without having a smart speaker. You can even say stuff like “find me and clean this area” and it will do just that. Of course you need to be within vocal range of the vacuum for this to work, but it’s a nice feature.* Roborock’s app is really good with a ton of features but with most things well sorted so you’re no overwhelmed and don’t have to do a lot of hunting.* The vacuum cleans and mops for over 2 hours on a full charge.* There’s an optional pet sentry mode. You can have the vacuum explicitly go look for your pet and snap a picture of it and you can live view your pet and even talk to it through the vacuum remotely. The vacuum will also automatically take a picture of your pet if it encounters it during normal cleaning. If you have a cat that loves to hide under furniture in out-of-the-way areas, this feature can be really handy. Plus you can monitor your pet’s behavior away from home.* It fast charges to 80% in less than 2 hours and more slowly charges the rest of the way to help save the battery, with a total 0-100% charge in under 2.5 hours.* You can have the vacuum only charge during off-peak hours (if you live in a place where off-peak electricity is cheaper, this is super handy).* You can even hold off on the dock emptying or washing the vacuum to certain hours.* You can view everything the vacuum can see, both as still photos and as live video.* Sharing the vacuum gives the person on the receiving end access to all features, unlike many vacuums I’ve used.* Roborock support has been very responsive.Cons:* The OmniGrip arm isn’t as useful out of the box as it should be. This one should have stayed in the lab a bit longer before getting released.* This is an expensive vacuum and you are currently paying a premium for the arm.* The AI object recognition could work better because sometimes the vacuum sees an object, but doesn’t turn to take a full-on picture to give the AI recognition more to work with.* There’s no way to train a misidentified AI recognized object.* There is no way to _manually_ adjust how much mop floor cleaning solution gets mixed in with the mop water, though it is programmed to work very well with most mop floor cleaners on the market.* Not every feature is fully explained, sometimes you just have to play with a setting to see what it does.* Not every feature is available in every mode. For example, there are some custom mop water use options and super deep cleaning features that aren’t available if you use a combined mopping and vacuuming selection. You need to select separate vacuuming and mopping passes if you want every possible feature to be available.* The “AI Smart” cleaning function, just like everything AI, is a black box. It generally makes the good choices, but there’s no way to adjust this mode to nudge it towards cleaning more or less throughly.* The do-not-disturb feature does not stop the vacuum from audibly announcing things, though it can make it quieter. I wish I could just have it notify me in the app only during DnD.* The vacuum has a very small on-board dust bin. This isn’t much of a con because the vacuum automatically empties itself, but it does mean that cleaning of a large house could take just a bit longer.Because the Saros Z70 is differentiated by the fact that it has a robotic arm that can pick up and move or put away items, we’ll start with a discussion about that. This review is discussing how things stand with the initial firmware release. I’ll update this if a future release changes things in meaningful ways. The arm allows the vacuum to do two things: Pick up items and move them to allow the vacuum to clean that area and then put things back; and pick up some items and place them in one of two manually identified areas. There is also a manual mode that lets you personally control the vacuum to pick up and deliver items wherever you want. The arm has a weight limit of about 11 ounces (technically 300 grams), though I’ve found it does seem to be capable of manually picking up slightly heavier objects without straining, but don’t expect this to pick up anything weighing a pound. There are limits to how much an arm like this can manage.Roborock has built in a ton of sensors and a camera into the arm itself, so it won’t hurt anyone. It stops if it thinks it might be even a little too close to people, pets or other objects that might be an issue. While it is possible to manually override some of this, the vacuum won’t let you do obviously dangerous stuff. In addition, the arm is completely disabled for security when you get it. If you want to enable it, you have to press some buttons on the unit and some things in the app. Once done, the arm remains enabled until you manually disable it in the app.By default, with the arm’s features enabled, the vacuum with automatically identify items that it is capable of moving or storing and will either move them and store them in one of two manually identified areas after the rest of cleaning is done, or it will move the item, clean the area and then put it back (sometimes during initial cleaning and sometimes near the end of cleaning. Roborock says the reason it cleans first and sorts or moves later is to ensure that it saves the battery to clean (the thing you told it to do) as much as possible first and then go back and sort things if they’re still there. The first of two areas that the vacuum can put things is in a “storage container” section (you can use the included sorting bin for this). This area gets anything that isn’t identified as a shoe or slipper right now. So balled up pieces of paper, or tissues, socks, small towels or washcloths. So far those are the only items sorted into the container. You don’t have to use the included container. If you don’t, the vacuum will just place the items it finds in this area. The second area is only for shoes and slippers right now (though a future update might add other things as well). The vacuum will put shoes (mostly ones that lack a back, like sandals) or slippers (again, mostly those without a back) in this separate spot. The vacuum will take the shoes over, one at a time, to the shoe storage area and put them down somewhere within the area you specify. If you have a shoe tree, do not expect the vacuum to put the shoes into the tree. Right now it can only automatically put them down on the ground or on top of or inside a low-walled container or basket in that area.If you don’t need items sorted, then the vacuum seems to be able to pick up and move other stuff (though it still won’t pick up and move everything). With this, items will get identified as something the vacuum thinks it can safely move and then it will clean around the item, then move it, clean the area where the item was and then put the item back in roughly the same spot it was in initially.Only Roborock can issue firmware updates to allow the arm to handle other items. Roborock has said that more types of shoes and slippers and child and pet toys are a priority for future updates, but the vacuum cannot handle those items right now. Time will tell how useful the arm will become, but now it¡¯s a bit limited. If what I just described sounds useful to you as it is without any other features that may (or may not) come later, then it’s worth giving the Saros Z70 a shot. Otherwise consider the Saros 10R that has a similar feature set without the arm. Don’t buy this hoping some feature you want may get enabled later, because that stuff isn’t a guarantee, no matter what Roborock says. Now let’s move on to something else that is disabled initially, also for security reasons. The cameras. The Z70 does not have the “turret style” lidar navigation you may be used to seeing on other vacuums. It uses a system of cameras, and time-of-flight sensors among other things to precisely map out your house and identify objects (to avoid or pick up). This is called Star Sight 2.0. This system allows it to avoid a circular tower on top of the unit, keeping it very low profile allowing it to fit under a lot of furniture (with an opening at least 3.14 inches high and wide enough to allow the unit to fit side-to-side).Understandably, having anything with cameras inside your home is potentially concerning. This is why the cameras are also disabled until you enable them. With cameras disabled, no pictures are ever sent to Roborock. Everything is done on device for visual navigation. However, you also won’t be able to view the cameras nor will Pet Sentry mode work nor will any pictures if obstacles be taken. Once enabled, the cameras stay enabled unless you disable them again. Keep in mind that anyone with shared access to your vacuum will be able to view the cameras as well. But the vacuum automatically announces every 10 seconds if someone is remotely viewing the cameras so you cannot be spied on without your knowledge. There’s no way to stop these announcements, for security. It can kind of get annoying though, but I appreciate why it is this way and prefer it rather than risk someone spying on me without knowing. Roborock says that they do not keep any pictures, though for you to view them remotely, the data does have to flow through their servers. If this bothers you, keep the cameras disabled, or, better yet, buy an older vacuum without mapping capabilities or cameras. Now let’s move on to vacuuming. The Z70 has a single brush-style roller with built-in hair/long thread cutters that run the length of the brush roll that helps to keep the brush completely tangle free. In over a month and a half of constant service, the brush has never once gotten hair or threads caught in it. The brush roller looks as clean as the day I got it. I do have a pet and people with long hair in my house, so there definitely would be (and were on older vacuums I had) tangles in that amount of time with use every day.The vacuum does a good job of overlapping passes just enough that every inch of the floors get covered (except for the edges of rooms which get covered by the corner brush). When vacuuming there are up to four different options that govern how tightly the vacuum covers the room. There is a “fast” mode that doesn’t cover the corners of the room and just does wide (but manages to cover everything) in the center of the room or hallway where most people walk. This is designed for quick cleaning, when you don’t have much time but want your floors to look presentable. The next mode is Standard. This covers the entire room with enough overlap to make sure everything is well-covered.There is also the cleaning pass choice. This defaults to 1 pass per room, though you can also choose 2 passes. The second pass will always move with rows going at a 90 degree angle to the first pass, so on the map you will see it create a cross-hatch pattern. If you have the flooring direction set for the room, the first pass will always follow the lines of the flooring and the second pass will go across the lines of the flooring. Finally, you can select how powerful the suction is. Roborock rates the suction at the highest at an unheard-of 22,000 pascals, though I don’t think that’s the maximum force at floor level, I think it is the maximum force the vacuum motor is capable of producing. Although Roborock advertises the maximum force of the motor, it doesn’t say how much force each level listed in the app is capable of. The levels it lists for suction power on a vacuum-only run are Quiet, Standard, Turbo, Max, and Max+ (this last one the app says will use a lot of battery power). That last setting isn’t available in a mixed vacuuming and mopping run. When vacuuming, you can tell the vacuum in the general settings to use the side brush and extend it automatically under furniture it can not navigate under so it hopefully gets at least some dirt from under those items too. It’s also worth noting that the side brush isn’t used all of the time. It only gets activated when the vacuum thinks it is needed. It’s also worth noting that with the appropriate settings enabled, the Z70 will automatically re-vacuum or mop areas that are particularly dirty. Also, if a room appears to have changed when it comes in to clean, don’t be shocked if the Z70 spends some time wandering around the room and not cleaning. It’s just checking to see what changed in the room and if that might necessitate a change to the current cleaning plan. The vacuum will automatically go back to the dock as needed to empty the on-board dust bin or recharge the battery if needed while vacuuming. Also, in the general settings for the vacuum, you can have it drop the round spinning mop pads and leave them in the dock while vacuuming and then come back for them when it needs to start mopping. In mopping only mode you have a different set of options. You can select three pre-defined water levels, low, medium, and high. You can also choose custom which allows you to select from up to 30 different levels of water use. This setting controls how much water the vacuum uses from its on-board tank to keep the mop cloths wet and thus how wet the floor gets during mopping. In my house with a medium level of humidity, Low gets the floor wet, but it is dry seconds after the mop passes. Medium gets the floor more wet so a mopped spot stays wet for 15-20 seconds afterwards, and High keeps the floor wet for 40-45 seconds afterwards. Obviously your experience will vary depending on how humid or cold the air is in your house. As with vacuuming you can select the number of cleaning passes. The first pass will follow the direction of the flooring if it is set in the map. The second pass turns 90 degrees and goes across the first pass creating a cross-hatch pattern on the map. Finally, you can select route it takes (the tighter the route, the more each pass overlaps the one before). Fast only does the center parts of the floor with wide paths that barely overlap. Good for a quick cleaning before company comes over. Standard does the entire floor, including the corners with passes that overlap just enough to make sure that every spot gets covered. Then in mop-only mode there are two more route options. Next is Deep clean mode. This makes the rows it cleans in much tighter, with more overlap. The final mode is the Deep+ mode. This uses the tightest rows with much more overlap. Before mopping commences, the dock will spend a couple of minutes filling the onboard tank with water (and it will heat the water up if you chose to allow that in the general mopping settings). It will also completely wet the spinning mop heads so they are ready to clean immediately when the vacuum leaves the dock. There are two heat levels as well as a room-temp water option. The first heat level uses warm water, and the second setting uses very warm water. My experience is that the mop water isn’t hot enough to warp most flooring, but stick with the first setting or no heating if you are concerned. The warmer mop water really does help to get ground-in mud and dirt out of your flooring. It is especially nice that you can use your own floor cleaner if you want. It really does a great job mopping, leaving no dirt behind (except in the very corners of the room on occasion). The other nice thing this vacuum does is have one of the mop heads that can swing outwards from the body of the vacuum to get into corners and under furniture. You can also control how frequently the vacuum goes back to wash the mop pads during cleaning. What I really like is that it isn’t a hard cutoff. If the vacuum detects the mop heads are dirty, it will go back sooner and if it is nearly done with a room, it will finish first before going back to clean the mop heads (rather than wait several minutes for a single remaining pass or two). Not only can you set up a routine to vacuum and then mop the entire house, you can also save time and the Z70 can vacuum and mop AT THE SAME TIME. This works because the vacuum is in the front of the Z70 and the mop heads are on the back. The thing I love about the dock is that it uses about 176 degree Farenheit water to clean the dock and mop heads and then uses hot air to dry both as well. You can control how long the dryer runs for. 2-4 hours. The dock even has little squeegees that push dirt and water out of the bottom of the dock, so everything stays surprisingly clean unless the mop picks up something the dock knows it is unable to pull into the dirty water tank. In that case, items like that stay in the bottom of the dock. The entire bottom of the dock comes out very easily, so its not at all hard to clean or get to the filter. For those with hard water it’s worth noting that the dock ships with a small cage of material built into the bottom of the clean water tank that will soften your water automatically. The loudest aspect of the dock comes when it is automatically emptying the dock, but even that is not as loud as a typical vacuum. Still, you can control when and how often the vacuum itself gets emptied so it won’t wake anyone up.

We are excited for this new technology product! We are excited for the arm this product has. It’s very clean and not loud. The dust box is easy to clean as well. The most important thing is when our socks or toys are in the way, it can grab them and put them in the bucket. When it grabs things, it will take some seconds. But it’s acceptable. We like this new toy that we don’t need to clean all the floors before starting vacuum.

I am thoroughly impressed with the Roborock Saros Z70 and confidently give it a 5-star review! What truly stands out for me is the exceptional app integration. The Roborock app is incredibly user-friendly and offers a wide range of features. I can easily schedule cleanings, set no-go zones, and customize cleaning modes for each room, all from my phone. The real-time mapping is especially impressive, allowing me to see exactly where the Z70 is cleaning and make adjustments as needed. Being able to monitor and control the robot remotely adds a whole new level of convenience to my cleaning routine.Another feature I love is the voice control capability. The Z70 works seamlessly with both Alexa and Google Assistant, so I can start, stop, or send the robot back to its dock using simple voice commands. This hands-free control is perfect for busy days when I want to keep my home clean without lifting a finger. In addition to its smart controls, the Roborock Saros Z70 is a powerful and intelligent cleaning device. It vacuums, mops, and even picks up small objects, all while navigating my home with impressive accuracy. The self-maintenance features, such as automatic dust bag emptying and mop cleaning, make upkeep effortless.Overall, the Roborock Saros Z70 has made maintaining a clean home easier and more efficient than ever. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart, reliable, and user-friendly robot vacuum!

We¡¯ve had the Roborock Saros Z70 for about a little over a week. Honestly¡ I don¡¯t know how we survived without it. With two dogs (one of which sheds like it¡¯s snowing), a toddler, and two full-time working adults, our floors are always feeling grimy and dusty. This little robot has seriously enhanced our quality of life. The vacuum is quiet but super powerful. It runs during nap time and it didn¡¯t wake the kiddo, which is basically a miracle. Has no issues with picking up dog fur, crumbs, and random dust bunnies. The mopping function is fantastic!!! it doesn¡¯t just drag a wet cloth around. It leaves everything looking and feeling clean. I also really like that there¡¯s a separate container for cleaning solution, so we can control how much is used. One of the fanciest features is the little arm that lifts objects. It gently moved my slipper out of the way, and I just stood there watching it like a proud parent. But seriously, it¡¯s a big deal when you have a toddler who leaves toys everywhere ¡ª no more worrying about things getting stuck or tangled. It mapped out our home super quickly, and the app was easy to set up. We created no-go zones and custom cleaning schedules in just a few taps. We¡¯re easily saving 4 hours a week not having to vacuum and mop ourselves, which feels amazing.A couple small wishlist items:We got the black version of the vacuum, but the bin that came with it was white. It looks a little mismatched in our space. Would¡¯ve been nice if they matched. Also, I¡¯d love to see Apple HomeKit integration in the future ¡ª we use it to control everything else in our home, and it¡¯d be super convenient to add this into that ecosystem.Overall, we¡¯re seriously impressed. It¡¯s smart, reliable, and honestly kinda fun to watch in action

I just got my Roborock Saros Z70 and can confidently say it’s one of the most impressive robotic vacuums I¡¯ve owned ¡ª from the setup, to the app, to the navigation and cleaning power. But, what sets this apart from the other robotic vacuums¡ the super cool robotic arm!Setup and Navigation:Initial setup was straightforward with the Roborock app, and the mapping process was fast and accurate. Within minutes, it had created a detailed floor plan of my home. (Don¡¯t look at map on my video¡ª that was before I mapped the house because I was excited to play around with the robotic arm!). The navigation is incredibly precise. It maneuvers around shoes, pet bowls, and even cluttered areas without getting stuck. I especially appreciate how it identifies common obstacles and doesn¡¯t just bump into them blindly like my older and far inferior robotic vacuums.Cleaning Power:The vacuuming performance is excellent. The suction is amazing. It easily picks up pet hair, crumbs, and whatever grass or leaves I dragged in on my feet from outside. The dual spinning mops with hot water cleaning really pick up dirt ¡ª our white socks never looked cleaner after walking around without shoes on. And with the mop auto-lifting feature, I don¡¯t worry about wet mopping on our area rugs. The Robotic Arm ¡ª Very cool, but has obviously has some limitations:The OmniGrip robotic arm is the headline feature of this vacuum. It¡¯s genuinely futuristic and works great picking up socks, a stray tissue, etc and move them aside before vacuuming. It even did ok with some of my dog¡¯s smaller toys, but obviously not the big or oddly-shaped ones. The robotic arm is a nice to have and not a need to have for me, but is pretty neat and fun to play with. My dog is still trying to figure out what this thing is!Dock and Maintenance:The multifunctional dock is a huge plus. It not only empties the dustbin and washes the mop with hot water to clean and disinfect for the next use, but it also dries the mop to prevent mildew smells. Maintenance is minimal ¡ª just refill the water, cleaning liquid, and empty the waste tank once a week.Final Thoughts:The Saros Z70 is a cleaning machine! It does the work, so I can focus on other things. It offers real value for busy households and/or those who want the latest in smart home tech. I am very impressed!

Such a cool piece of technology, i¡¯m amazed every time when I think all these tech are on this little vacuum. Although it¡¯s not perfect yet, but the robot arm really makes me think I¡¯m living the future, and I¡¯m excited to see how they improve overtime.Compared to my other roborock, there¡¯s not much difference in terms of their cleaning performance, but without the lidar sensor on the top, finally, I don¡¯t need to clean underneath some of my furnitures myself anymore. Everything else stays very roborock, nice, easy, and reliable. If you¡¯re not like me, I think the model without the robot arm will be a better buy, but the robot arm, trust me, really makes you think you have an actual robot in your home, not just a robot vacuum.
