The media could not be loaded. Full disclosure: we returned this item because it wasn¡¯t quite what we were looking for, but I wanted to do a review because it¡¯s an amazing product with a lot of great features. If you¡¯re like me and have a car that only displays kilometers, this is a great way to compensate. Driving in the USA means I need a way to clock MPH.Not only does this HUD do that, it also offers several other features like brightness adjustment, speed parameters and alarm that dings when you exceed them, a clock, and a fatigue reminder. It¡¯s easy to operate and understand, too.It comes with a dash mount and the in it is adjustable. Plus, the USB cord is long enough for you to position it wherever you want to in your car.Great device at a great price and packed with a lot of features!

A quick TLDR; here at the beggining, I love this device and would highly recommend it if your even considering trying it out. It's definitely worth it!Now to go into a little detail about it. At first I was worried that this would not show up/reflect well off of my windshield like I wanted to have it do. However, this package came with not only a grippy mat, but also a reflective sticker, more like a cling, to put on the windshield to enhance the reflection. This works really great and I added two pictures of what it looks like in the worst of times (direct sunlight) as well as the best of times (in shade). It looks great and is easily readable at both ends of that sunlight brightness spectrum. The reflective sticker is sort of closer to a cling, with one side sticking better that the other which made it easy to figure out which way to put it. Also, since it wasn't extremely sticky, I was able to replace it numerous times to get it in the exact spot I wanted. If I was going to nitpick something, I would've liked this sticker to be slightly bigger, but it does show the whole display when placed perfectly. The reflective sticker also does not allow anyone to view the display reflected on the windshield from the outside.Plugging this into the OBD2 port was pretty self explanatory. The cord is flat which makes it easier to route between plastic dash covers as well as push it down into the dash so it's pretty much not visible for me and looks like it's built in the way.The menu navigation was a little tricky to figure out while having it installed, so I would suggest getting all the settings done before you route your wire. Once you have it in though, I don't really see any reason to mess with it. It turns on extremely fast as well so there is no waiting for it to start up once you start the car. It's ready to go as soon as you are.The size of the unit is okay. It would be nicer if they could get it to be a little thinner, but ultimately it's completely fine as-is and is out of the way. As for durability, I have only had this unit for a couple of weeks but haven't had any issues. I will come back and update this review if it ever stops working. I have pretty high hopes for it though.Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I bought it to bring in a digital speedometer to my Ford F-150 as I got used to a digital display in one of my other cars. At this price point, it really does a great job!

I had a little bit different need from this device. The clock on my car radio is fast, adds about 10 minutes/month. The cheap stick-on battery clocks are also inaccurate. So I bought this with the intent to use it strictly as a clock in my car.For this use, it works. Others complained about slow locking time, but for me it takes 10 seconds after I turn the car on before the time is locked in, no problem. I also like the auto-dim feature.I took away a star for 2 reasons:1) The clock is always in 12-hour mode (good), but at 12AM or 12PM it shows "00" for the hours. The image included with this review was taken at 12:21PM and you can see it shows "0:21" - strange. I can't see how this "feature" would make sense - only in 24-hour mode (if there was one) should I see "00" for the hour.2) The device doesn't have any settings for whether to include the effects of DST. When DST changed, I had to manually switch the offset myself. But neither of these issues is a deal breaker, and overall I am satisfied.

When it arrived I was surprised how small it was but small is good so it doesn¡¯t take up much space. The size of the digits are easy to read. My speedometer on my vehicle is not accurate so I wanted this for a fast easy glac¨¦ to see the speed. Upon a cold start, it usually has to connect to enough satellites before it will work. I think it will grab the satellites much faster if your outside and not moving but even if your moving and it takes a mile or two, that¡¯s fine for what I paid. I really like it. One item that wasn¡¯t so great were the instructions for calibrating the speed for it to be accurate. Mine was off maybe 2 miles an hour and i basically had to go for a drive and keep tweaking the adjustment. I personally did not understand the amount to adjust each time so I just guessed and road tested and it took 4 or 5 adjustments before it was good. It¡¯s been fine since.

  1. It has a about a second or two delay compared to the digital displays in modern cars, but not really too big of a problem if you are maintaining speed. If I am driving city and need to be at 35, it does it’s job well enough.Sadly, you cannot see this when wearing sunglasses. The numbers just vanish from the windshield. It’s fine without sunglasses though, and looks great at night.Clean your dash as best as possible. The sticky pad will connect dirt and not stick any more. If this happens, wash it under the sink and let it fully dry.It comes with a USB cable and an ODB2 cable, so you can power it with either or.

  4. Works but is very inaccurate. Connected to the OBDII port it should display the exact same speed as the vehicle speedometer, but the faster you are traveling the more inaccurate it becomes. At 55mph it displays 72mph. At highway speed of 65 it displays 87 mph. What’s the problem with the programming in this device?

  5. I have this set towards the center of my dashboard so that when I check my rearview mirror I can see my speed without having to look down to the instrument cluster.
