This product actually amazingly works! It took 20 minutes and two tries to map a 1000 sq ft floor plan with a kitchen, living room, 2 baths and 2 bedrooms. When the mapping did not work the first time, I was able to talk with a human being who connected in less than three minutes, was kind and clear about what to do, told me how to troubleshoot and hung out until I confirmed that it was working properly. Once done it vacuumed the entire space and mopped only the hard floors, somehow knowing to lift the mops for the carpeting. It completed the entire space in 80 minutes, while I was on an errand, leaving gleaming surfaces when I returned. A few stubborn spots remained, which took just a moment to scrub off. It cleaned its own mop and emptied its own dustbin and dried everything. The only effort is getting stuff off the floor and out of the way. I am thrilled because I was seriously skeptical to begin with. It has a one year limited warranty so I think this is an excellent product and worth the price. We got off to a very poor start however….Right out of the very heavy box the consumer pain points begin to accumulate. It was supposed to be a joy worth $900. There is a pamphlet in the box directing consumer to download the manual. NO setup instructions are included in the box! You have to uncrate to find a QR code which it says in the pamphlet contains the manual. The QR code leads to an app you have to download on your phone. The app forces the buyer through several legal windows of being made to agree to not sue the company for anything, but once done, there is still no manual for this new product. You have to page through dozens of other ecovacs products but alas, none for this one. And the product does not come with any starter supply for the liquid it claims in the very brief pamphlet in the box you must use to avoid clogging the washing mechanism. So they make setup basically impossible, and threaten you to order their washing liquid or maybe your warranty won’t hold, which delays set up also,Not a great way to start a relationship with a consumer who feels too busy to vacuum and mop their home and drops almost a thousand dollars for that purpose. So where is that manual to set this thing up? You have to go to the website and hunt around. The app is clunky and you have to go through a lot of moves to get what you need, but it does work.

I recently purchased the Ecovacs Deebot T30S, and it has quickly become an indispensable tool for maintaining cleanliness in my home. This robot vacuum and mop combo brings advanced technology and superior functionality to the realm of automated home cleaning, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a more efficient and hands-off approach to floor care.Firstly, the design of the Deebot T30S is sleek and modern, with a compact docking station that fits unobtrusively in my home. The black finish and smooth contours give it a sophisticated look that blends well with contemporary decor. The robot itself is robustly built, reflecting its high-quality engineering.Performance-wise, the Deebot T30S excels in both vacuuming and mopping. The vacuum function features strong suction power that effectively picks up dust, debris, and pet hair from both carpets and hard floors. It navigates seamlessly around furniture and obstacles, thanks to its advanced TrueMapping technology, which uses laser-based LiDAR navigation to create an accurate map of your home. This ensures that no area is left uncleaned, and the robot can efficiently plan its cleaning path. The mopping feature is equally impressive. The Deebot T30S comes with an OZMO™ Pro oscillating mopping system that scrubs the floor, ensuring even stubborn stains are removed. The water tank is sufficiently large to cover a significant area before needing a refill, and the robot automatically returns to the dock when it needs more water or when the battery is low.One of the standout features of the Deebot T30S is its self-cleaning capabilities. The docking station not only charges the robot but also cleans the mop pads, empties the dustbin, and refills the water tank. This means I don’t have to manually intervene as often, significantly reducing maintenance efforts. The dustbin capacity is ample, and the auto-empty function ensures that I only need to dispose of the collected debris every few weeks.Another noteworthy aspect is the integration of smart home technology. The Deebot T30S is compatible with both NiceShine Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for voice control. The Ecovacs app provides comprehensive control over the robot’s functions, including scheduling, cleaning modes, and real-time monitoring. The app interface is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to customize cleaning schedules to fit my lifestyle. In terms of noise levels, the Deebot T30S operates relatively quietly compared to other robotic vacuums I’ve used. It’s unobtrusive enough to run during the day without causing significant disturbance, even when I’m working from home or spending time with my family.Overall, the Ecovacs Deebot T30S has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Its powerful cleaning performance, combined with advanced navigation, self-maintenance features, and smart home integration, make it a top-tier choice for anyone looking to automate their home cleaning routine. While it is an investment, the time and effort saved, along with the impeccable cleanliness it provides, justify the cost. I highly recommend the Deebot T30S to anyone in search of a reliable and efficient robot vacuum and mop.

Overall, I’m incredibly impressed with the DEEBOT T30S COMBO. It’s a powerful all-in-one cleaning solution that tackles both my floors and furniture, saving me a significant amount of time and effort. Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons:Pros:Effortless Cleaning: Gone are the days of juggling multiple cleaning devices and constantly emptying dustbins. The DEEBOT T30S COMBO combines a robot vacuum for floors with a handheld vacuum for furniture and tight spaces, all in one convenient docking station. The auto-empty function is a game changer! The robot vacuum roams my house methodically, picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair with its strong suction. I can then seamlessly switch to the handheld vacuum for quick touch-ups on furniture, crumbs on the counter, or corners the robot might miss. No more switching machines or hunting for dustbins – it’s a cleaning dream come true.Cleans Every Nook and Cranny: The DEEBOT T30S COMBO offers a truly comprehensive cleaning solution. The robot vacuum effectively tackles both carpets and hard floors, with its powerful suction ensuring a deep clean. For hard floors, the mopping feature is a revelation. The robot efficiently mops, leaving my floors sparkling clean. What truly elevates the mopping experience is the self-cleaning docking station. It automatically washes the mop pads with hot water at 158℉, eliminating bacteria and ensuring a more hygienic clean than traditional mopping. The hot air drying function ensures the mop pads are fresh and ready for the next cleaning session. And to top it all off, the auto water refill function eliminates the need to manually refill the water tank, saving me even more time and effort.Focuses on What Matters Most: A Clean Home: The DEEBOT T30S COMBO boasts several features that free me up to focus on other things while it takes care of cleaning. The auto-empty function means I don’t have to worry about emptying the dustbin every cleaning session. The self-cleaning mop station washes and dries the mop pads, keeping them sanitary and ready to use. And the auto water refill function ensures the mop is always ready to go. All of these features mean I can spend less time maintaining the robot and more time enjoying a clean home.Cons:A Little Noisy: The docking station can generate some noise while emptying the dustbins and drying the mop pads. It’s not an ear-splitting roar, but it’s something to keep in mind, especially if you have noise sensitivities.Handheld Might Not Be for Everyone: While the handheld vacuum is a convenient addition, it doesn’t have the strongest suction. It’s great for quick pick-ups and light cleaning tasks, but for heavy-duty cleaning, the robot vacuum is the better choice.Overall, these are minor drawbacks for a powerful and convenient cleaning system. The DEEBOT T30S COMBO is a great investment for anyone who wants a clean home with minimal effort. It’s a lifesaver for busy households and anyone who values their time. I highly recommend it!

Changed to 1 Star: Comes with 1-bag and you can’t order new ones. Have ordered 4 separate dust bags on NiceShine, including the only one with the right picture, and the bags are all wrong size/dimension. These bags aren’t even on ecovacs website. Good luck when the maker doesn’t support the necessary accessories…I read some of these reviews and you can’t help but think it is marketing regurgitation from AI bots or maybe RoboVac owners new to the game. Here’s an honest review from somebody who has owned almost every RoboVac out there. Our Home => Golden Retriever, Brand New LVP.Verdict: Don’t buy this for the mopping but great as a vacuum & vacuum combo…Pros:1.App [Easy: A] – Easy to map the house, divide the rooms, draw zones etc. Would be nice to link to videos describing the feature toggles2. Vacuuming Suction [Great: A] – Other than wifting (see below) and high-battery consumption on max setting, it is better than any robovac I’ve owned. Zero-Tangle tech works pretty well / not perfect. Wish it had less collisions.3. Combo Vacuum [Great B+] – Wish NiceShine had the Sku with the Power Brush also included but needs to be purchased separately. Not nearly the power of a Dyson stick vacuum but very convenient & works great for simple messes. I don’t plan on using the combo vacuum as a whole house vacuum like you would a Dyson so / perfect for my needs3. Setup [A] – Out of box to vacuuming in a few minutes4. Shipping[A] – Fast + Nice Packaging.Cons:Mopping wrecks the experience incl. quality, battery life. We see ourselves going vacuum only, swifter mop.0. Vacuum + Hair [OK: C+] Only had for less than a week. I’m having to manually service hair that gets caught up in the front swivel wheel, side wheels, and in the roller brush (although better than most). See also#3 why hair gets in mop.1. Mopping Quality [Poor: D]: So new home, new LVP floors. I can take a Swifter Mop to any high traffic area the T30S has finished and it comes out dirty for even just a single, simple, 1 foot wipe. Vacuum is definitely better than mopping quality. See also Wetness Con which absolutely contributes to poor mopping quality.2. Mopping [Wetness Fades to Dry Mopping: D]: We excitedly follow it around but noticed in the mopping phase, it starts out with “some” wetness eventually becoming bone-dry for a long period of “mopping.” This is despite the wetness setting set to MAX. I believe this is why such poor mopping results.3. Mopping [Carpet Drag: D]: We have a nice semi-plush rug in Living room. The mopping pad lift isn’t high enough so the pads drag even after lift. We tried drawing an exclusion zone in the app for (no mopping) but the problem is the wet pads can still drag in the 1-pass mode. So we now trying the 2-pass mode (vac then mop). 2-pass obviously x2 the battery requirements. Vacuum is now going through multiple recharges throughout the day to finish the home BUT by the time we get to the mop portion it is many, many hours AFTER the vacuuming and the mops getting a bunch of pet hair/rotating on a tiny rock etc. that would not be present in the 1-pass mode (with the aforementioned undesirable dragging wet mop on carpet). Could be better if lift was higher allowing 1-pass cleaning…4. Collisions [C]: Even with the Setting “True Detect 3D Sensitivity” set to “High Sensitivity =>Avoid obstacles more sensitivity”, the front plate of my vacuum looks like it got into a bumper car fight with my furniture and i’ve only had it for a week. (See Pic). New home / don’t want this thing scratching up my house. if it keeps up, just going to make my own zones avoiding edges and furniture.5. Battery [Needs Fast Charge: C]: OK – got this for the 11k Pa suction. High Suction EATS the battery fast that then takes 5 hours to recharge. So with the combination of #3 (2-pass vac then mop setting) and #4 (high suction), it takes many passes and multiple charges to do the home in 24 hours with the aforementioned problem of by the time we get to mop, the vacuum stage of the room was many hours previous = pet hair etc. now stuck in mop. Would be nice if faster charge 4sure. Rated 3 because we can’t really use the 11Pa mode in our larger home6. Wifting (i.e. pushing away debris it needs to vacuum in its path prior to vacuuming): As the vacuum approaches, we notice the some pet hair etc. can be “wifted” out of the path of the vacuum prior to vacuum suction. Vacuum DOES get majority, but when it leaves pet hair for the mopping stage (which doesn’t wift) = mops end up pretty “hair gross” pretty fast.7. Feel [Construction: ] – main vacuum unit is kinda squeaky & front is marred after only a week. It doesn’t seem it will last the test of time. One of those, buy a new one in a year purchases methinks8. Initial Box Contents [Need more]: Mentioned a few times, but you don’t get any cleaning fluid in the box and only 1-vacuum bag. You’ll have to order as a side by side.

We already have several robot vacuums at our house, Xiaomi, Roborock and Narwal. Narwal is vacuum and mop that we bought earlier last year and all others are vacuums only. We recently bought this Ecovacs one for our second floor to replace the not-so-smart Xiaomi vacuum we bought years ago.First of all, I really like that it has a handheld vacuum, and the handheld vacuum can be emptied automatically into the same dust bag shared with the robot. Before I provide my opinions on the robot, let me just say how impressed I am with the handheld vacuum. I think it performs as well as, if not better than, our Dyson handheld. It even comes with multiple attachments neatly stored in the bottom compartment and you don’t have to hold the trigger like you do with the Dyson. Now let’s move on to the star of the show, the vacuum and mopping robot.Pros:The adaptive edge mopping is awesome! Edge cleaning has always been the biggest headache with all our other vacuums. I have to use a handheld vacuum with the crevice attachment after running the vacuum. With Ecovacs T30S, this is no longer an issue. As you can see in my video, the mopping pads extend a couple inches to get as close to the edges as possible and leave no blind spots.Fast mapping and precise navigation. The T30S mapped our entire second floor within just a few minutes which blew my mind. Our Narwal spent much longer time on mapping. On the app, you can select which room(s) you want to clean and the T30S will go straight there without fumbling around. The dual auto-empty feature is very well thought of. I’m all for time-saving and effort-saving. Kudos to whoever designed this product!Cons:The initial setup took me longer than expected. The docking position of the robot is opposite of all our other vacuums (with the big round part exposed on the outside as opposed to inside the docking station). Just look closely at the metal touchpoints on the robot that connect to charge and you’ll “get there” faster. The T30S gets tangled on cables and cords just like other vacuums do. I really hope their future product can conquer this common problem. As I mentioned we have a variety of top brands/models in our house and I don’t think any one product has fully solved this issue…it’s a common pain point across most/all robo vacs out there, but this is no worse than other top models we have, so it’s competitive on performance and don’t want to overly ding them on that given I’m doubtful that there’s a superior product out there at the moment. The station and the robot are not as quiet as I hoped. Not a deal breaker but rather a minor annoyance.

Normally I am tooooo lazy to write reviews but this made my life easier as I have gained perhaps an extra one hour on my daily schedule to do other things.I have had my dysons vacuum for many years. Never bothered to try something new as I believed there wouldn’t be anything better out there. But we were wrong….. we decided to give this a shot as our latest dyson was getting somewhat old and was time for a newer generation.Fast delivery with ups in the front door. First reaction was… wow this is heavy. So it took some effort to bring it up the stairs. Unboxing was pleasantly surprise by how neatly packed it was. My lovely pups were very intrigued by their new suppose “toy” .Yes I have 2 westies. They don’t shed like some other breeds out there but there is always a mess to be cleaned. Those who are pet owners can surely identify here.First time using this hidden gem reaction was that it is not as bulky as I expected, it can be put at any corner of the house. I have been eyeing one of all in one robot for a while and now this is the one. The app is very easy to use, however, it does take a little time and effort to set up. So far the mapping is very accurate and will auto avoid the object in the middle of the room. The power of the vacuum section is strong, if you are a pet owner, you will really notice. It mops very well and is spotless. Our new “housekeeper” will clean everything squeaky clean. The feeling of getting home and your house is already clean is a refreshing feeling, just how many people nowadays even have the time to vacuum and mops the floors every day…. I no longer need leave the cleaning and mopping till the weekends where I actually have time and worry about the accumulating dust that is harmful to my pups. Effortless timed cleaning Machine that clean better than myself, it self cleans the station, and it can auto empty, auto refill, clean the mop even drying the mop. Really, the only thing you need to do is change up the water. The only cons to this, here is most likely the price tag. But then again it is really a con? Everything out there with same function will have around the same price tag. And this one is fully automatic with a manual option attached. You get what you pay for and worth every single penny. Instead of spending, I think this is an investment piece.

This one is pricey but if you like a little bigger unit and faster cleaning for places with large or numerous windows then it’s appropriate. I cleaned 3 of my windows (just inside) and they were not opaque or cloudy but that picture is of what the robot cleaned in just 3 inside windows.I am no longer hesitant to open my blinds when I have company come over. I can show off my view of the lake without worry of guest seeing a dirty window. The battery life is a little short for a unit this big. Obviously if you buy this unit it’s because you have many windows and lots of area to clean. So it should be able to use battery and/or plug in power. It has enough power to clean one side of my east facing windows, but just be aware that it takes about 2 hours to charge from a full dead bot. So the first couple of times you clean your windows you will be charging often. But once your windows are clean you should be just fine with the battery life for routine maintenance cleaning. You don’t use cleaning fluid with this robot and my windows came clean without it. You just use tap water. I think every time you switch to a new window to clean, you should rinse off the pad. It is very easy to do and put back on and it comes clean.Always start a window cleaning with a wrung out damp pad. The spraying system loses it’s prime and will clean your windows about 3 swipes before water starts coming out. So if you start with a damp pad it doesn’t matter anyway. I would like a manual spray button on the remote to get it primed or to spray an area that needs a little attention when you manually drive the robot with the app. This little robot has made my home windows a showcase and my cleaning life so much easier. This one will not be going back!!! Welcome to the family little robot.

Let me set the stage on why a robot vacuum is an essential tool for me by introducing the members of my household, aka the source of the mess.**Subject 1 – My 3-year-old daughter:** Cute, adorable, sweet, a drama llama; she’s everything I could wish for. Despite my wife and I washing her hands 500 times a day, she manages to maintain a pair of sticky, oily hands with a hint of grape juice and cheddar cheese Goldfish.**Subject 2 – White senior rescued Standard Poodle:** The perfect partner in crime to my 3-year-old. While my daughter stamps her little oily hands on my wood floor, my poodle spreads that oil like you spread Miracle Whip on bread.**Subject 3 – Red senior rescued Doberman:** A literal walking pine tree. Oh, don’t be deceived by his thin layer of hair without an undercoat. He drops so many red “pine needles” that if he gets lost in my neighborhood, I could probably retrieve him by following his trail of hairs. The fact that he sheds so much yet hasn’t gone bald is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.I bought a T20 Omni(the previous generation to the T30S I am reviewing today) last year, used it; was somewhat satisfied with it, and now bought this new T30s so I can move my T20 to my second floor and have my T30s takes care of the 1st floor instead. The purchase has transformed my house chores in a way that I no longer need to vacuum and mop my floor; I can now finally provide undivided attention between listening to my wife and washing dishes. Here are a few points to note. Otherwise, I have no complaint with the T30sMapping:I can’t stress how important mapping is to any new robot vacuum, a good map dictates:a. the machine’s obstacle avoidance ability,b. the robot’s path algorithm, andc. room division and cleaningThe T30S consistently mapped my 1st floor about 2 to 3 times faster than my T20 Omni. Not only that, but I was able to create a fully functional map on the 2nd try. On my T20 Omni, I could get a not-so-perfect map maybe after 8 tries, if I was blessed by the Lord of Light.Mapping Confusion:Both the T30s and the T20 Omni have issues scanning my rear sliding door. The laser penetrates the glass and mistakes my outdoor patio floor for another room; because of this, it creates an open-ended space; this confuses the heck out of the app and makes in-app room division extremely annoying. Here’s my fix, I took my daughter’s roll of art paper, with the help of blue tape, (which can be purchased from, yours truly “NiceShine”) created a faux barrier at the laser’s height.Cabinet Toe Kick Issue:The T30s is about a quarter of an inch shorter than my T20 Omni. On spec, it doesn’t mean much, but in real life, this makes a world of difference. My T20 Omni’s laser just so happens to be high enough that the laser catches my kitchen’s lowest drawer and thinks it’s a wall; this causes the T20 to altogether skip the edge by the toe kick, which is usually the dirtiest place. The T30s scans the toe kick properly and cleans the floor right up to the toe kick.Edge Cleaning:I am pretty sure my T20 Omni was secretly an animal rights activist, especially toward the ant in my house; it never cleans the edge, and I mean any edge. There was always a 3-inch moat against my wall and furniture, to provide a bike lane for my resident house ants. The T30s, on the other hand, sends its little protruding arm and mops all the way to the edge.Map Lost Issue:In the first 2 months of my T20 Omni’s ownership, the app would lose either the robot’s last location or the entire map for the most ridiculous reasons. – My wifi router had a firmware update and restarted during the night? The map was gone – There was a power outage? The map was gone – My mother-in-law wasn’t having a good day? poof, the map was gone.I could sneeze at my T20 Omni and I bet ya the map would be gone.I give props to Ecovacs for listening to customers’ complaints. I am happy to say they have completely rectified the issue on the T30s. In the last 2 weeks that I have been using my T30s, I’ve had multiple occasions in which I thought it would fall into the map lost loop and thrash my saved map right out the window and it didn’t. It was able to immediately locate itself and get back to the base station. No more, “Houston, we’ve had a problem.” issue.Base Station Water Tank:This is probably the only gripe I have on the T30s; c’mon Ecovacs, how do you go backward on your water tank design? The T20 Omni was equipped with an extremely sturdy water tank with hard clear plastic and a springed lid latch that simply provided confidence. There is a sense of reassurance when the latch clinches to the tank with a mechanical thud, that I can hold the tank by the top handle and not worry about the lid swinging open and pouring the water down my floor. The T30s uses a much softer plastic and the latch is only tension-loaded by the strength of the plastic.Overall:I am extremely happy about the T30s. It strikes the perfect balance between function and price. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone considering a robot vacuum to take a serious look at the T30s.

The Ecovacs T30s is a top-tier robotic vacuum cleaner designed to revolutionize home cleaning with its advanced features and robust performance. One of its standout qualities is its powerful suction, which efficiently picks up dirt, dust, and debris from various surfaces, including both carpets and hard floors. The vacuum’s advanced mapping and navigation technology ensures thorough coverage of the cleaning area, effectively preventing missed spots and enhancing cleaning efficacy.A major advantage of the T30s is its smart features, which significantly boost user convenience. The accompanying Ecovacs app allows for seamless control and customization of cleaning schedules, enabling users to start, stop, and monitor cleaning sessions remotely. Additionally, the T30s is compatible with popular voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant, providing a hands-free control option that integrates smoothly into smart home ecosystems. I can also use my voice to interact with the robot without opening the App. It’s a huge plus.Versatility is another strong suit of the T30s. It offers multiple cleaning modes, such as auto, edge, and spot cleaning, catering to various cleaning needs and preferences. The self-emptying base station is a particularly notable feature, ensuring that the robot can continue cleaning without frequent manual intervention, thus maintaining a high level of convenience for the user. This makes it an excellent tool for families with pets, as it can handle the extra fur and dander without needing constant attention. The T30s also impresses with its long battery life, allowing it to clean for extended periods before needing a recharge, making it ideal for larger homes. Its slim profile enables it to navigate under furniture and reach tight spaces often missed by traditional vacuum cleaners. Additionally, maintenance is user-friendly, with easily removable dustbins and filters that contribute to its low-maintenance operation. However, the T30s is not without its drawbacks. It comes with a relatively high price tag, which might be a consideration for budget-conscious buyers. Some users have reported that the vacuum can be quite noisy, especially when operating at maximum suction power. Despite its advanced mapping system, the T30s may occasionally struggle with complex room layouts or get stuck on obstacles. There are also occasional connectivity issues with the app, causing delays or interruptions in controlling the vacuum remotely. Furthermore, the cost of replacement parts, such as filters and brushes, can add up over time, increasing the overall maintenance cost.In conclusion, the Ecovacs T30s is a feature-rich robotic vacuum cleaner that excels in cleaning performance and smart functionality. While it comes with a higher price tag and some minor drawbacks, its advanced features and convenience make it a worthy investment for those looking to upgrade their home cleaning routine. This makes it particularly beneficial for families with pets, as it effectively manages pet hair and dander, ensuring a cleaner home environment, especially when you have a fur friend and a toddler at the same time.I would recommend this product for ppl who would like to spend the dollar amount for quality machine.

We have owned several robot vacuums since they came out, from the not-so-smart older versions to the hands off versions today. The Ecovacs robot does the job of simplifying household chores, low maintenance, easy to use, and good looking.Let me list the pros and cons that I have experienced so far:Pros:1. Hands-Off Operation: One of the standout features of the Ecovacs robot vacuum/mop is its hands-off operation. It can automatically collect dust and clean the mop.2. Excellent Obstacle Avoidance: The robot’s sensors allow it to navigate around obstacles with precision. It can easily avoid soft sheets deliberately placed on the floor (see video) and gently maneuver around delicate items like piano pedals and legs, ensuring no damage to furniture or the robot itself.3. Very Quiet: compared to the other same level robot that I have, Roborock S8 pro, The Ecovacs robot operates with minimal noise. You can run it during the day or night without disturbing your household activities or sleep.4. Powerful Suction and mop lifting: It also features mop lifting technology, which raises the mop when it detects carpeted areas, ensuring a thorough clean without wetting the carpet.5. Good value: Compared to similar products on the market, the Ecovacs robot vacuum/mop offers the lowest cost. I purchased the Roborock s8 and this one both on discount, the Roborock is still $300 more, while they perform the tasks equally well.Cons:1. Cleaning Time: Like many robot vacuums, the Ecovacs model takes a considerable amount of time to clean. This can be a drawback if you need quick cleaning sessions.2. Confusion with Moving Obstacles: I tested the robot by moving large obstacles around while the robot is cleaning, it might get confused and take longer to complete the job. It’s best to keep the cleaning area as static for optimal performance.3. Battery Capacity: The battery capacity, while decent, may not be sufficient for larger areas. In testing, it took 40-50% power to clean two mid-sized bedrooms and a small corridor. For larger spaces, the robot might need to recharge mid-cleaning, which can prolong the overall cleaning time.To conclude, the Ecovacs model is a good choice if you would like to experience hands-off, omini station style robot vacuums. It is a very solid choice.

I think that this is a great little unit but there are a few quirks that pressed me to return it for credit; The unit was well packaged, and it worked flawlessly when I first turned it on. What I found though was that it WILL NOT work on operable windows (those are the kind you unlatch and then open them where they stay on an angle) because it needs the windows to be vertical or at least not more than a 30 degree angle. I was not able to figure out how to open the window, put the unit on the opened window, then close the door enough to be within the 30 degree angle, and then have it operate without catching the cord. So for ‘fold out’ windows, its not a good choice. Also, my balcony has glass screens which are just spaced about 1/2″ apart. But since they are not windows with edges, the robot freaks out when it gets to the edge and cannot do anything. So it does not work for glass railings. So even though it does a very good job on just plain vertical windows, its just not adaptable to my particular use.

Having two dogs makes owning a robot vacuum a necessity. For the past few years we’ve used an iRobot which has done great but doesn’t do anything about the dirty paw prints on my tile floors, though it does pick up hair and crumbs and such. Last fall we experienced a flood which required a full remodel of our downstairs, new carpet, new tile, new cabinets, the whole works. In updating our tile flooring we chose something very modern but mostly white. Did I say I have two big dogs???My husband stumbled upon the Deebot looking for a vacuum that could also mop. We have had no experience with dual robots in the past but I have friends who bought entry-level models and said they left a lot to be desired. However, the thought of waking up to squeaky clean tile and freshly vacuumed carpets was very intriguing to me, so I started reading reviews on the Deebot T30S.To be honest, the reviews felt like they were written by AI, all very similar, all touting the praises of this perfect robot cleaning companion. Could it be that good? Knowing NiceShine has a great return policy and having received a generous gift card recently, we decided to buy one during the Prime Days in July when it was steeply discounted.Having used the Deebot T30S for a little over 3 weeks now I can tell you that it is a game changer for our home! It vacuums much better than our iRobot and leaves the tiles squeaky clean. It senses when there’s extra dirt so sometimes the cycle takes a little longer than others, but that just means it’s doing its job. It is very quiet, much quieter than the iRobot. We have it start at 6:00 a.m. every day and sleep right through it. In fact, our son house sat for us for 5 days and hadn’t even realized it had been running every morning the entire time. The self-cleaning features of the mop pads works so well it’s insane! And with the large water and dirty water bins, you don’t have to refill or empty very often – depending on the size of your hard floors.Would I recommend this to others, ABSOLUTELY. Ecovacs knows what they’re doing in the world of robot cleaning machines. I also own the WINBOT W2 OMNI and am enamored by it as well,( although it does have a few minor issues that I will talk about in a review on it’s product page). If you’ve hesitated buying this because you’re unsure if it can really do as good a job as the reviews, I urge you to give it a try. It has made keeping my house clean with too big dogs so much easier and is such a time saver.

We have tried a few robot vacuums, both older models and more recent, and this is a solid entry with a real impressive feature set. It’s been set up for about two weeks in a house with 3 cats and 2 dogs and it is powerful enough to draw their hair out of the carpet. The mopping capabilities are also great – the arm that extends out to get to the wall edges is for sure more thorough than the types without. We have double doors we bring the dogs in through and when it rains, the edge right next to the doors is the area that gets the dirtiest which other mopping robots would miss because it simply couldn’t reach. This model is easily able to clean to the edge. The handheld vacuum works well but is really a bonus to us. The drawer conveniently stores the tools and I like how you only need to press the trigger once for it to activate. Its good for going and getting the corners, stairs, or cleaning couches etc.Pros:* Easy setup and mapping. App is pretty straightforward and its easy to set up no go zones etc.* The design fits in well with our house and sits out of the way for the most part. It effectively hides away the water tanks and tools for the handheld vacuum keeping it clean looking.* It’s powerful, but its not too loud. Since we have a lot of pets this really helps keep things tidy without much of a bother.* Mop with the extending arm is really practical and helps make sure the entire floor gets cleaned.* Bonus handheld vacuum.Cons:* Multi-floor cleaning works ok, but you need to move the device from floor to floor and return it to the base station when done. It is capable of storing multiple maps, but until we get a stair climbing robot this will have to do.* For large rooms it can take a while to clean, and might even need to go to the recharging base if you are using high power etc. I find it best to manually run it after doing a pass for things like dog toys that could get in the way to ensure it can operate largely without intervention for extended periods.Overall we think this vacuum is pretty great at home and it’s effectively kept up with our pets. I would recommend it for people who have areas of the house with mixed flooring (hard/carpeted surfaces) and pets since it has smartly handled all of those situations effectively in our day to day cleaning.

I’m genuinely impressed with its overall performance and extensive range of features. The robot’s advanced 3D mapping technology is particularly noteworthy—it navigates my home with exceptional precision, ensuring it covers every corner and crevice. This includes those hard-to-reach spots under furniture and along edges that are often neglected. Given that my home has a mix of hardwood, tile, and carpet, the T30S handles these diverse surfaces effortlessly, adapting its cleaning modes to deliver optimal results on each type. The powerful 3000Pa suction is another standout feature. It excels at picking up a wide range of debris, from fine dust to larger particles and pet hair. As a pet owner, this is crucial for maintaining a clean and allergen-free environment. The suction power ensures that every nook and cranny is thoroughly cleaned, which is a significant benefit in keeping my home in top condition. The multi-surface mopping feature further enhances the robot’s functionality. It provides an extra layer of cleanliness, particularly on my tile and hardwood floors. Although it doesn’t completely replace a traditional mop for deep cleaning purposes, it effectively keeps daily grime at bay and helps maintain a fresh appearance for my floors. One of the most convenient aspects of the T30S is its automatic dustbin emptying feature. After each cleaning session, the robot empties its dustbin into the base station, which has a large capacity that can hold up to 30 days’ worth of dust and debris. This feature significantly reduces the need for frequent maintenance and makes the T30S an excellent choice for busy households where convenience is a priority. The companion app that accompanies the T30S is intuitive and user-friendly. It allows me to set up cleaning schedules, customize specific cleaning zones, and even view real-time maps of my home’s layout. Additionally, the integration with Alexa and Google Assistant adds an extra layer of convenience. I can effortlessly start or stop cleaning with simple voice commands, which is particularly useful for managing my cleaning routine without having to manually operate the robot. While the T30S does come at a higher price point compared to some other models, and its mopping function might not fully address stubborn stains, these are relatively minor considerations in the grand scheme of its overall performance. Despite these small drawbacks, the DEEBOT T30S has significantly streamlined my cleaning routine, making it both easier and more efficient. I find it to be a valuable investment that has greatly enhanced the cleanliness and upkeep of my home.

As someone juggling a busy career and parenting, I’ve always been on the lookout for anything that can lighten my cleaning load. Enter the Ecovacs Deebot T30S Combo—it’s been a real game-changer for my household routine. After using it for a while, I’ve got some thoughts to share, including the good, the not-so-good, and whether I’d recommend it.What I LoveAwesome Cleaning Power: This little robot packs a serious punch when it comes to cleaning. It’s got powerful suction that handles everything from dust and pet hair to larger bits of debris on hardwood, carpets, and tiles. It doesn’t matter what kind of floor I’ve got—it does a great job across the board.Smart Navigation: One of the coolest things about the Deebot T30S is its smart navigation. It maps out my home really well and follows an efficient path, making sure it doesn’t miss a spot. Plus, if it needs to recharge, it remembers where it left off and picks up right where it started. No more worrying about half-done rooms!Versatile Cleaning Modes: Whether I need a deep clean for the high-traffic areas, a quick spot clean, or edge cleaning for those pesky corners, this robot has a mode for it. The app makes it super easy to switch between modes and set up a cleaning schedule, so I can have it do its thing while I’m out or even at night.Hands-Off Maintenance: I love that it pretty much takes care of itself. The auto-emptying dustbin and the self-cleaning mop station are lifesavers. The mop pads even get washed and dried automatically, so I’m not stuck dealing with dirty mop heads. Less hassle, more clean—just how I like it.Quiet Operation: Despite all that power, it’s surprisingly quiet. I can go about my day, work from home, or even have a conversation while it’s cleaning, and it doesn’t disturb me at all. It’s like it’s not even there. What Could Be BetterMopping is Just Okay: While the vacuuming is top-notch, the mopping function isn’t as impressive. After it mops, I often find myself having to go over the floors with a manual mop to get them really clean. The mop pads tend to dry out during use, which doesn’t help either.Hard-to-Find Accessories: One thing that bugs me is how difficult it is to find replacement parts, like dust bags. They’re not easily available online, and even the official site doesn’t always have them in stock. It’s a bit of a pain.Battery Life and Charging Time: If you like running it on max suction like I do, be prepared for the battery to drain pretty quickly. It takes a while to recharge, so it might need multiple sessions to clean a bigger space, which can be a drag.Collision Issues: Even though it’s supposed to avoid obstacles, I’ve noticed it still bumps into furniture a bit too often, leaving some scuffs. I’ve had to manually set up no-go zones in the app to keep my stuff safe.If you’re looking for a powerful vacuum that does a decent job at mopping too, and you don’t mind a few quirks, the Ecovacs Deebot T30S Combo is a solid pick. Its smart features and automation are huge time-savers, making it a great choice for busy households. However, if you’re really serious about mopping or if you need to easily find replacement parts, you might want to think twice. But overall, for what it offers in terms of vacuuming and convenience, I’d definitely recommend it—especially if you’re like me and just want a cleaner home without putting in too much effor

I recently upgraded to the DEEBOT T30S, and I am absolutely thrilled with its performance. This robot vacuum has taken my home cleaning to a whole new level, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!First off, the 11,000Pa suction power is nothing short of incredible. It effortlessly lifts dirt, dust, and debris from my carpets and hard floors, leaving them spotless. Even the deepest carpets in my home look like they’ve been professionally cleaned. One of the standout features is the TruEdge Adaptive Edge Mopping. The precision with which this robot cleans edges and corners is remarkable. I’ve always struggled with getting those hard-to-reach areas clean, but the DEEBOT T30S tackles them with ease, ensuring no spot is left untouched. The ZeroTangle Anti-Tangle Technology is a blessing, especially with pets at home. I no longer have to deal with tangled hair clogging up the brush. This not only saves time but also keeps the vacuum running smoothly and efficiently. The All-in-One OMNI Station is a powerhouse of convenience. From hot-water mop washing to self-emptying and hot-air drying, it takes care of everything. I love how it refills water and even cleans itself—truly hassle-free!The Advanced Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance system is another big win. The DEEBOT T30S never gets stuck, and its mapping technology is spot on, ensuring every inch of my home is covered without any bumps or missed areas.Controlling the DEEBOT is so simple with the voice commands and integration with my Apple Watch. It’s like having a personal assistant that keeps my home spotless without me lifting a finger. The Intelligent Deep Mopping feature is beyond impressive. It identifies heavily soiled areas and cleans them thoroughly, ensuring that even the toughest stains are removed. It runs for up to 180 minutes and charges super quickly, so it’s always ready to go.Overall, the DEEBOT T30S is a game-changer in home cleaning. It’s powerful, intelligent, and incredibly convenient. If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line robot vacuum, this is the one to get. Five stars all the way!

We bought T30S after watching several reviews and it seems like the best vacuum and mopping robot for the price. We bought it as a replacement for our Roborock Q7. We wanted something that had better mop functionality, and better carpet functionality.Out of the box, everything went well it mapped the whole house quickly and easily. We have a sliding door and windows that go to the floor, and it’s convinced there is a room out there. Other than that it did well. Defining on the map where the furniture and carpets are didn’t work intuitively in the app. I finally just skipped it. Labeling rooms is super easy, adjusting rooms with is not so good. They need to work on the app to be more competitive.Cleaning: Let me preface this with we have a Newfoundland Dog, Giant, Long hair sheads a regular dog a day. You can build a sand trap where he lays down to nap. Drooling, he can sink the Queen Mary, and it goes everywhere! We have to mop and vaccum every day, sometimes twice. It does a great job vaccuming, lots of suction, picked up the hair, sand, leaves, and small stuff. They have a system that is supposed to remove hair from the roller, Not. It is very easy to take the roller out and clean it. Much easier that the Roborock.Mopping it is super slick, it know to go back to the station and clean the mop heads and refill it’s water tank to keep it cleaning well and not just spearing mud around the room. It didn’t do well cleaning up dried on drool, until I told it to use double water and two passes. Bingo! The floors have never looked this good. Now if they just had a follow the Newfie around mode.Obstacle avoiding it also does a great job going around dog toys. It did get stuck on a long hair rug, and a sheepskin rug, I had to pick these up.One week in however it quit charging! Not good. Hoped it would last a little bit longer! Called the company and the sent me a free shipping label and said they will replace the unit. They seem to be very good about it. We’ll see, I’ll update this after we get the replacement unit and see if it lasts any longer.UPDATE: They did not have the T30S unit in stock to ship to me, so they upgraded us to the T30S Combo! THAT’S REALLY AWSOME SUPPPORT! The hand vac is very good, super porwefull, and best of all it empties itself when you put it away. How cool is that? I always hated emptying those little canister vacs, they are so messy. I couldn’t be happier with this company and especially their customer service. They did have a couple of good suggestions for work around for the Apps shortcomings. I’ll update this again when I see how they work.

TLDR: Great hardware hampered by a poor app.I come to this after owning three iRobot Roombas, the last being an i6+.Let’s start at the beginning, mapping the house. The floor I use it on is about 1600 sq ft. The robot completely mapped it in under 15 minutes. I was astounded by how fast, and accurate it was.Unfortunately, after mapping comes editing the map in the app. The app is not very intuitive. Map editing is challenging. My house has a somewhat open floorplan, and some rooms do not have physical dividers. If I split these rooms with the app, the robot cannot figure out how to get into them. I did not have this problem with the Roomba. This leaves me having to leave them combined which increased the cleaning time. There is also no way to specify by room what you want done. The app requires you to set a default mode (vacuum, mop, vacuum & mop, etc.) that is used for all scheduled tasks. So, for example, you may want to schedule your kitchen to get vacuumed daily and mopped twice a week. In the app you can’t just use a scheduled task to do this. You must use something they call a scenario and set it up that way. This seems fine until you realize that you can only do five scenarios. Scheduling of tasks, a prime function of a robot vacuum is extremely weak. This functionality is two stars, at best. It is so bad I am considering returning the robot. On to cleaning performance. Here the robot does very well. It has great suction and picks up all my dogs’ hair. The mopping works quite well, even using only water. Cleaning is 5 stars. The noise level is good. There is a range of suction levels available and at the highest, it is no louder than the Roomba. I use the standard level, and it is fairly quiet, even on hardwood floors.

Initial setup is heavily inclusive of the mobile software. I followed the steps in the app as well as the physical manual which were pretty simple but they offer almost no help or troubleshooting if something doesn’t go correctly. I had difficulty getting the vac to join my mesh wifi network and ended up doing a rename of my home SSID then joining the vac to my phone hotspot set up with my home network SSID and password, then turned the hotspot off and switching the home SSID back to normal. It took over 24hrs of leaving the vac on the base before set up was fully successful. I would get the vac registered in the app and it would show the vac online with 100% battery but would fail the rest of the setup. It turned out the vac really had like 0% battery and wouldn’t charge correctly or finish set up. I left the vac on the base overnight. I learned that it was the battery issue the next day when I tried setup and the app finally showed like 13% battery and charging. After all that, it is set up and everything now works beautifully. I was surprised at how quiet the suction is compared to the former iRobot j7. I didn’t really want the mopping feature but now I love it. The map of my house is fantastic with all of the controls I require to rename, combine, divide rooms as well as live track the location of the vac. I like the versatility of the job controls for mop/vac/water usage/suction power. We’re about 2 weeks into using it and going great; about to try setting up an auto schedule like we had with our former vac.

I recently purchased T30S Combo Vacuum and I am totally impressed and in love with it. At first I was a little hesitant because I had a bad experience with self-washing and self-cleaning machine but I am glad I gave it a try.Pros:1) hands free self-washing and self-charging system saves me time I can spend on doing other tasks2)Works really well on different surfaces: I have different surfaces in our home both tiles and hardwood floors. It does a great job in its transition between different surfaces and effectively pick up dust, dirt and of course hairs.4)Can be controlled on your phone via the app5)powerful but quiet- this is a plus when you have young children at home (especially when they are napping) and is compatible with Alexa and Google6)battery life is solid it provides enough power to clean large spaces on a single charge. If the battery runs low during a cleaning session, it will automatically returns to its dock, recharges, and then resumes cleaning where it left off, ensuring your entire floor gets cleaned.7)Easy to used and switch between vacuuming and mopping with minimal effort. It also offer hot water mopping8)can seamlessly switch to the handheld vacuum for quick touch-ups on corners and furnitures. The handheld vacuum comes with different heads as well9)sleek design really an upgrades for my old vacuum at homeCons:1)Price Point: The T30S Combo Vacuum is on the higher end of the price spectrum. While it offers multiple features, it might be considered expensive.2)Water Tank can be bigger. Small water tank equals frequent refills3)occasional navigation issues. T30S generally performs well, but there is room for improvement in mapping in areas with complex layouts and cluttered spaces.Overall:While the machines does have some minimal drawbacks but it still a solid investment compared to other vacuum. At first I was debating whether I should or should not get the combo but I am glad I have made this choice. This also makes a great gift for close friends and family as a house warming

I recently purchased the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S Combo Robot Vacuum and Mop, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. With a household that includes two babies and two cats, keeping the floors clean is a constant challenge. This all-in-one cleaning hub has made my life much easier.Pros: • All-in-One Convenience: The DEEBOT T30S combines vacuuming and mopping, which is incredibly convenient. I love that it can handle both tasks simultaneously, saving me time and effort. • Mopping Feature: The mopping function is a standout for me. With little ones crawling around and pets that shed, it’s essential to have clean floors. The mopping feature does an excellent job, and I appreciate that it uses hot water for a more thorough clean. • Self-Cleaning: The self-cleaning feature is another major plus. The robot automatically empties its dustbin and washes the mop, reducing the need for frequent maintenance. It’s one less thing to worry about in my busy household. • User-Friendly App: The app is straightforward and easy to use, making it simple to schedule cleanings and monitor the robot’s progress. Even with my hectic schedule, I can quickly set it up for cleaning without any hassle.Cons: • Coverage: While it does an excellent job, it struggles to cover my entire house, which is around 3,200 square feet, on a single charge. This means I sometimes have to recharge it or run it twice to get the whole house cleaned. • Navigation Issues: Occasionally, the robot needs assistance if it gets stuck or goes off the floor. It’s not a frequent issue, but it’s something to keep in mind if you have uneven surfaces or thresholds in your home.Overall, this Combo Robot Vacuum and Mop is a fantastic addition to my home cleaning routine. It handles the daily messes from my kids and pets with ease, and the convenience of the all-in-one design makes it well worth the investment. While it has a few minor drawbacks, the benefits far outweigh them, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, efficient cleaning solution.

I have some very large windows in our great room that have tilt in function, but they are too heavy for me to manage. I paid over $1000 to have all our windows cleaned and was very disappointed in the job the cleaning crew did. So I thought I would take a chance on this expensive robot. I am pleasantly surprised at how well it works and it leaves the windows mostly streak-free in a very short time. A couple of minor criticisms: I can only use the deep clean mode. The others simply don’t get the job done. The device leaves a small wet area along the edges, maybe a 1/4 inch wet line. For the windows I can reach, I simply run a dry paper towel along them and it comes right off. For the taller windows that I can’t reach, well, no one should be looking that close anyway. Overall, this product is a win and I am so glad I bought it.

This is my new age Rosy very clever robot. This is a mop/vacuum. She’s quite heavy with base and vacuum is a little over 30 lbs, vacuum itself is an almost 8 lbs. Made a video including the diagram of contents. Very easy to set in, the QR code is under the lid. With step by step instructions on how to install. Inside the bast there are 2 buckets, 1 black (for dirty water, 2 clear is for clean water; it’s labeled. You won’t make mistakes if the buckets are mis matched because of the brackets underneath… it just won’t go into place. It’s quite easy to navigate looking at the different compartments, top lid are where you’ll see for mopping. The middle, the bag filter where the vacuum empties out the debris (there are 2 filters 1) on the machines 2) inside base. It’s louis when it empties, after wards it will pick up where it lefts off. There’s an app that needs to downloaded, register the product, there a user guide as well a store to purchase more accessories and how to use plus tops and trips. I am surprised it talks, tells you what’s it doing, whether starting, emptying, if you picked it up, Rosie will tell you to put her down, emptying the debris and parking to charge. The way it parked by backing up is much better than the way I park my vehicle. It’s quite loud when it empty. Its quite powerful and fast, gets to places u can’t, sick as under the bed. I’m glad I made this investment. Once less thing to worry about if your not home to clean. You can use your phone while away from home to get Rosie started. It’s a bit pricey, however I understand why it is. When I take off the mop pads, to just vacuum the carpet/hardware door. Rosie will tell me it’s the pads are removed. This chic is quite a character. I really enjoyed it. She’s a charming beauty

I am really pleased with this incredible floor cleaning robot. I have hardwood floors, including in the kitchen, with a few large rugs here and there. The master bath has white tile floors. I also have two cats that shed constantly. Before purchasing the Deebot, maintaining clean floors was a constant chore.Initial setup was hampered by the extremely limited manual that came with the robot. I didn’t understand why it began to seemingly aimlessly wander around the house without vacuuming or mopping. It turns out it was trying to map the floor plan, which it would have done quickly and well if I hadn’t interrupted it and forced it to return to the base station to charge. It refused to do any cleaning afterward, saying it couldn’t find the area to be cleaned. After a call to tech support (which was answered immediately!), I was assisted with deleting the floor plan it had saved and having it re-map the house. The robot has an ultrasound sensor mounted on the top that lets it map rooms very quickly and accurately — it did an entire floor in about 15 minutes.Subsequently, I can draw a zone to be cleaned on the map it created, and it wakes up, loads itself with cleaning fluid (tap water with a capful of floor cleaner concentrate), and off it goes. The vacuum cleaning section is at the front, and two spinning microfiber mops are at the rear. I select medium-high vacuum and low water delivery rate. It is incredible to see it moving about, thoroughly cleaning and picking up crumbs and car hair perfectly. There are no streaks anywhere- I could not believe this! Finally, it really does lift the mops when cleaning rugs, and vacuums these very well. This feature probably would not work well on shag or high-pile rugs. When the cleaning solution Rus low or (less frequently) if it needs to recharge, it returns to home base, where it is refilled and recharged as necessary. When the zone to be cleaned is finished, the robot returns to base, at which time the dust bin is emptied, then the mops are washed in hot cleaning solution and then dried with a gentle air flow for about 1/2 hour.I am completely thrilled with this robot. My floors are so clean and shiny- with no work on my part except to flip the dining room chairs onto the table before starting the robot.

I researched different vacuums before deciding on the one. Easy set up right out the box. It has been a game changer in my house. I have noticed lately that it has deleting my maps of my house when it resets but that’s not a big deal for me but i removed a star for the most honest review. It really cleans very effectively. When you have a toddler that’s prone to accidents and loves playing with her toys on the floor it has been amazing. The vacuum will alert you if anything is stopping is functionality. Something stuck in it’s brush which is very rare, you pick it up off the floor, if the dirty water bin is full, or clean water is empty for mopping. Once problem is fix it will immediately resume the task it was working on. Mop lifting is great for very flat carpets. My fluffy carpet, the mop definitely doesn’t lift high enough to not let the mop touch the rugs. However, the mop is not that wet to soak your rugs. You also have have the option to avoid carpets if that’s your preference. It also has options of how often to wash mop in-between cleans so you can make sure you are getting the best clean possible. Individual room settings etc. This robot has options to customize it to your home needs.

I’ve been using the DEEBOT T30S for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly made cleaning my home so much easier. The suction power is seriously impressive—it doesn’t mess around when it comes to carpets and picks up just about everything in its path. I don’t have to worry about missed spots in the corners either, since the edge-cleaning feature really gets in there. This is great because I don’t bother to go over with a broom afterward. What I appreciate the most is that I no longer need to constantly pull hair off the brush like I did with my handheld vacuum thanks to the anti-tangle technology. The noise level is also surprisingly low compared to what I’ve heard from my friends’ robot vacuums. It does a great job avoiding obstacles too, so I never have to rescue it from getting stuck. The app lets me customize my house layout with furniture mapping and set no-entry and no-mop zones, which makes it super convenient and flexible.Controlling it is a breeze as I’ve been using the app to get it going from anywhere, and it hasn’t given me any issues. The AI-integrated voice assistant makes it really feels like I’m living in a futuristic home. The base station is awesome because it empties itself when the bin is full, refills the water, and even washes the mop, so it’s always ready to go. Definitely cuts down on maintenance time. The only downside for me is the size of the base (toilet roll in the photos for scale). It’s bigger than I expected because of the water tanks, and it feels a bit bulky in my small living room. The price might seem steep at first but considering the great features and the fact that it can mop your floors with ease, I think it’s definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a high-end robot vacuum that will last.

I really want to love this thing and sometimes I do, but I get a lot of error messages starting from the second use and have to reset it often.Benefits:1. I love that it maps my house and I can send it to certain rooms.2. I love that it can vacuum and mop basically at the same time – I think it vacuums in the front and mops in the back. It’s actually pretty cool.3. It heats up the water.4. It self dumps the vacuum and dirty water5. Smart phone controls are easy to navigateCons:1. I have to pick up all the loose stuff like area rugs, kitchen chairs, coffee table, etc. Maybe not a huge con and that would be the case if I were vacuuming/mopping myself.2. It gets jammed with pet hair regularly (to be fair, I have two huskies and 4 cats).3. I get a ton of error messages and it stops working until I unplug it/problem solve.I don’t use it too often because it’s almost more trouble to get the house set up to use it and my husband says he doesn’t mind vacuuming. I regret spending $1000 on a machine that I don’t get much use out of.

I recently purchased the ECOVACS Winbot W2 Omni, and I can honestly say it has completely transformed my window cleaning routine. As someone who usually dreads the task of washing windows, this little robot has been a game-changer for me, making the process not just easier but actually enjoyable.First and foremost, the cleaning efficiency is impressive. The Winbot W2 Omni navigates both flat and curved glass surfaces with remarkable ease, leaving my windows streak-free and sparkling. I live in a high-rise apartment, and I often struggle with keeping the large windows clean. This robot handles even the trickiest spots without any hassle, and my view of the city has never looked clearer!Setting up the Winbot was a breeze. The initial setup took just a few minutes—filling the water tank, attaching the microfiber pads, and plugging it in was all it took. Once it was ready, operating it was intuitive thanks to the included remote control. I appreciate how user-friendly it is; I can simply start it and let it do its thing. One of my favorite features is its safety measures. The strong suction power and safety tether give me peace of mind when using it on higher windows, ensuring I don’t have to worry about it accidentally falling. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by how quietly it operates. I can run it while I’m home without feeling disrupted, which is perfect for my busy household.Maintenance is straightforward as well. The microfiber pads are easy to wash, and all I need is tap water for cleaning. ECOVACS even includes two pads in the box, which is a thoughtful touch. While the Winbot W2 Omni is definitely an investment, the time and effort it saves are well worth it. If you’re someone who has a lot of windows and values convenience and efficiency, I highly recommend this robot. It’s made my life significantly easier, and I can now enjoy my clean windows without the hassle of hiring professional cleaners. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

This is the second robot vacuum we’ve tried and returned. At this point I don’t think they are really all that useful for us. Perhaps if the products improve we’ll try again in a few years. Our biggest issue is that to use this robot effectively on two floors of our house we would have had to buy two of these robots. While there is support in the app for multiple floors, it really isn’t practical if your second floor is anything other than a postage stamp or you want to mop it. Without moving the base station to the second floor, the robot’s small on-board waste collector will fill quickly and the robot will be unable to empty it without your help. Mopping will be a complete no-go without a base station. So, unless you want to lug the 40 pound base station up and down the stairs each time you want to let the “automatic” vacuum do its thing, forget it. B.t.w., they don’t sell extra base station. This vacuum could not vacuum in the narrow areas between our area rugs and the walls (less than the width of the robot so the poor little guy lever could get itself leveled out). If you want it the vacuum where the dirt is (like around where you sit in your office chair ;-), be prepared to move that office chair before vacuuming. Likewise for the laptop charger cord, the slippers, whatever you might leave out. It does a pretty good job of avoiding these kinds of things, but then you just don’t get that part of the floor clean. Having to go around the house prepping for the robot vacuum seems counter productive to me. When I run a manual vacuum I just push the stuff aside as I encounter it if I need to.This robot also got stuck on a couple of surprising obstacles. First, there was the end table that has claw feet that the robot runs up onto like little ramps. Once its wheels come off the ground it’s stuck until you rescue it. We also have a foot stool with legs just the right distance apart to allow the robot to wedge itself between them and be unable to back out. I felt sorry for it on that one.The level of noise it makes isn’t horrible, but it is enough that you don’t really want to have to listen to it for more than an hour while it vacuums one floor (~1100 sq ft) of our house. If we were off to work all day and it was dependable enough to operate unattended, then this wouldn’t be an issue, but we aren’t and it isn’t.Most review sites (if they are honest) will warn you not to throw away your old vacuum because you are still going to need it. This is certainly true. This robot won’t vacuum the top of your baseboards, it won’t vacuum your upholstery, it won’t vacuum cobwebs in the corners or behind the couch, it won’t pick up dead flies in the window sills, or even do a particularly good job under the dining room table (all those chair legs!).In the final analysis, there was just too much this product (and really all robot vacuums I suspect) didn’t do to occupy a space in our house and demand the technical attention that it does.

Product worked well for a couple of weeks. We were impressed with in cleaning abilities, obstacle avoidance and extended mopping arm. It mapped the house extremely quickly. Initially, the one drawback I saw was in the edit map section. For some reason, adding dividers to rooms is needlessly difficult and so while it mapped the house quickly, I had to redo the mapping three different times. In some cases, it didn’t even even see the wall combined room where they shouldn’t be. After the initial frustrating set up, this thing was awesome and app worked well. Floors were looking great. Vacuum and mopping at same time until we asked it to mop a space one day…well unit came out from its space, made it to destination and then dumped a flood of water all over the floor. Since then, it cannot navigate at all. Not even just to do a regular vacuum. See video. Troubleshot it every which way. Videos online and even contacted the manufacturer. The person we spoke to did not seem surprised and immediately knew that the product was defective. Faced with two choices, return product to the manufacturer for replacement unit (which could take more than a month) Or return the product to the amazon. After additional research I found more users than I was comfortable with who had similar problems early into their purchases, and whom struggled with long delays from the manufacture. I’ve decided to return this product to NiceShine (under 30day window) and I plan to purchase an entirely different brand, once my refund is processed.PS I did a ton of pre-research on vacuums in this class before purchasing and thought this unit would be the best bang for the money. As many of its features are comparable to units that are at much higher price point. Coming from a 6 year old Roomba I7, I figured we wouldn’t notice any shortcomings but what I found is many review these products are within a couple of days of purchase (Including Content creators). They just don’t seem to test the units long enough for a true review, IMO. Really wanted to love this thing.

I recently purchased the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S Robot Vacuum and Mop, and I am thoroughly impressed! This vacuum is a game-changer for my home cleaning routine.Performance:The T30S offers fantastic suction power, picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair with ease. The transition from carpets to hardwood floors is seamless, and it doesn’t miss a beat. It also does an excellent job with the mopping function, leaving my floors looking spotless without leaving streaks. I love that I can control the suction power based on the type of flooring, which helps optimize battery life.Smart Features:The smart mapping and app functionality are amazing. The T30S creates a detailed map of my home and can divide the space into rooms. I can set cleaning schedules, define no-go zones, and even control the vacuum from my phone, which is perfect when I’m not home. The integration with voice assistants is a nice bonus too. You can even talk to it directly! It also has obstacle detection, which means no more getting stuck on furniture or cords.Battery Life:Battery life is solid. I can usually get through an entire cleaning session (mop and vacuum) on a single charge (around 2 hours), and if it runs low, it automatically heads back to the charging dock. The battery also recharges quickly, so it’s always ready to go.Noise Level:It’s quieter than I expected. While not completely silent, it’s much less disruptive compared to some other vacuums I’ve used, and it doesn’t wake up the kids or pets.Overall:This robot vacuum and mop has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend cleaning. It’s convenient, effective, and smart, making my home maintenance so much easier. I highly recommend the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30S to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient cleaning solution!

I’ve had the Deebot T30S for a week now, and honestly, it feels like a total upgrade to my life! I’ve had other robot vacuums before, but none have come close to what this one does. The first time I set it up, I expected the usual—slow mapping, missed areas, maybe a bit of fumbling around. But instead, this vacuum completely blew me away! It mapped my entire home so quickly and even identified all the rooms perfectly, so now I can just tell it to clean a specific room, and it knows exactly where to go. It’s wild how accurate it is!One of the best parts has to be the suction power. I have pets, and usually, I end up having to vacuum manually after my other robot vacuums because they just don’t pick up everything. But with the TS30, it gets everything. And with the wet mopping feature, my floors look amazing—like they’ve been professionally cleaned. I always thought the mopping function on robot vacuums was more of a gimmick, but this one actually works! No streaks, no leftover grime—just clean floors every time. What really stands out, though, is the self-emptying and self-cleaning system. I used to hate having to empty the vacuum every other day, but now, it’s like this thing takes care of itself. I’ve set up a cleaning schedule through the app, so it does its thing when I’m at work, and I come back to a fresh floor. It’s honestly freeing to not even have to think about vacuuming. And the app—wow, it’s so easy to use. I can customize almost everything: cleaning areas, suction power, no-go zones (essential around my dog’s bed), and even specific mopping intensities for the kitchen and living room. It makes the whole experience feel tailored to my home, which is something I’ve never felt with other robot vacuums.I honestly feel like I’ve hit the jackpot with this vacuum. It’s taken all the stress out of keeping the floors clean, which is huge, especially with pets and a busy schedule. If you’re considering it, I can’t recommend it enough. The Deebot T30S has been worth every penny, and I actually feel like my house is cleaner than ever without any effort on my part!

“Sallie Jo” started her position about a month ago. The interview process was several months of reviewing resumes of hundreds of robovacs. Day one, it took about 10 minutes to get her office set up and sign in to the communications center. I let her take a break and recharge for about three hours. I used that time to get acquainted with the app. It was relatively easy to understand and set up.The app will let you determine sequence of cleaning, such as vac only, vac/mop at once, or vac then mop, let you decide which rooms will get what when, and virtually tell Sallie Jo which areas to just stay away from-like the hearth- I don’t want her to roll up onto the brick because of the small stones, etc.Once she was fully charged, I asked her to make a map of the house. Within about 15 minutes she mapped out our entire downstairs (approx 1800 SqFt). It was amazing to see such detail! Unbelievable! It took me about 3 mins to name the rooms on the map. Before her first clean, I made sure all the dog toys, cords, small items and rugs were picked up because I wanted to do a full deep clean. I set her up to vacuum everywhere well with two passes and then to mop everywhere. You can select how strong the suction needs to be from room to room, how detailed you’d like her to be, etc. I asked her to be as detailed as possible. The process took her several hours to complete. She did an incredible job! The floors were clean, the area rugs were clean. The “dirty water” collection container water was dirty! 🤮. It used about 1/3 of the clean water. I used only water. She cleaned and dried the mop pads as requested. I knew ai had hired the right one for the job!Her weekly routine is to do a weekly deep clean (sweep and mop everywhere ), a daily high traffic sweep and a weekly mop in high traffic areas. She is always right on time and the daily week takes maybe 20 mins. That deep clean takes several hours because she goes back and forth to dump dust and then discard and refill water while mopping. Our house is 100 yrs old and the floors get pretty dusty. Top that off with two shedding dogs and it was a daily sweep down for me. We have a combination of hard wood, area rugs and tile. She recognizes the different surfaces and adjusts accordingly. One of the things I cringe about the most is being able to see the dust and such that is under furniture that I couldn’t get to with the broom-but was too lazy to get unless company was coming. I did notice she was not as efficient when she sweeps and mops at once, so I asked her to sweep and then come back to mop. This helped so much with the up and down of the mop pads, and the back and forth to and from her desk. The final result was the same. Just a preference thing. I have not added any cleaning product to the clean water basin, and really haven’t felt the need. I may at some point just because 🤷🏻‍♀️.Now, after about a month in, and Sallie Jo has gotten into such a good routine, I have a good feel of her work ethic. She follows instructions perfectly! She is never late and completes tasks. Occasionally she has gotten a little confused about where to go and decided the walk in shower needed love as well-but then stayed in there. It seems that she was just not able to get up enough speed from inside the shower to get herself over the little hump to come out. Maybe she was just thinking she’d like a shower and fell asleep waiting..the world will never know. But after telling her not to go back into the shower, she hasn’t again. Such restraint she has!!Despite the good bit of dust and dog hair that usually graces us on a daily basis, our floors are clean! So far, I haven’t needed to change the dust bag (but I do have to peep sometimes when I want to see just what all she got up). The small collection area with the filter has also stayed pretty darn free of stuff. One rock which is how I learned to keep her away from the brick fireplace hearth. Even with dog hair, my hair, and general whatever it is that just ends up on our floors, I’ve not had to clean the roller one time! The areas under the furniture that you see from several feet away when the light hits it just right? You know, that looks like it would spin into a dirt devil if the wind hit is just right? Sallie Jo took care of it. My sofa was an issue because it is 5” off the floor. Sallie couldn’t get under there because of the Navi that sits on top. I bought new feet and raised it up one inch (small price to pay for a clean floor) and now, she easily cleans under there as well! I do empty the dirty water after mopping just for the smell factor and spray some something in there to help keep it clean. I refill the clean water doo dad every week before deep mop day just to be sure she has what she needs. All in all, I can say Sallie Jo is well worth her wage. She asked for a bit more than I intended to pay, however it has worked out to be so worth it! I don’t do a lot of floor anything now! I just call Sallie Jo and get her on it. I can’t recommend her enough! You can’t have my Sallie Jo, but I encourage you to get your own!

After reading others reviews I decided to give this bot a shot. I have a couple vacuum bots and figured a window bot would be a good addition even though the later is not set it and forget type of bot. You have to place it on the windows and sort of pay attention to it more so than a floor robot. I’ve only had it for a little bit and still getting the hang of prepping the pad. I’ve had a few instances now where the bot says its slipping and it stops cleaning which I think is pad related leaving too much liquid on the window causing the treads to slip.PROS:- I like the base station. The previous version doesn’t have this and requires to plug in power but for me, I have windows with no outlets close by so moving the base station around works really well. Plus it has compartments for all the required items like water, pads, cabling.- Does a decent job at cleaning. A few of my exterior windows were pretty dirty since I have not cleaned them for a little while.- Really easy to use.- The remote control through the app works really well if you need it. I could imagine it being really helpful on a large window if the robot got stuck some how and the person couldn’t reach it.- No problems with the sprayers. They both work fine.CONS:- The app remote is only bluetooth (ding 1 star). I think this stinks. Sure use bluetooth to control the robot but it doesn’t have any notification capability. On my 3rd time using it I set up to clean a sliding glass door. At some point it got stuck on the handle. Luckily I happened to be walking by and noticed it not moving and then noticed the red light. If it was on wifi, it could have sent a notification ‘hey there’s a problem’.- Related to the above statement; if the app isn’t open there’s no communication. If the app isn’t open, I do not know if the bot is done, having a problem, low battery, etc…- It seems that the robot favors horizontal cleaning. I’ve seen at times when it is going sideways that its slipping and the robot sort of turns upward to compensate. That’s fine and all but if it did more vertical cleaning it wouldn’t have to worry as much. Maybe they tested and found it uses less battery going horizontal vs vertical.- After it is done, you will probably have to wipe a little here and there especially where the robot finally stops. Seems like every time I go get it, there’s a little print where the pad was and I have to wipe it down.Enhancement idea: The windows in your house are static objects. It would be nice if the robot remembered the window and maybe you even name it in the app. Then it could track when you last did the window etc.. Sure if you have windows the same size, how do you know if it’s doing window A/B/C. That could be handled in the app.

This machine is an amazing piece of hardware: great suction, great battery life, great auto-empty and auto-mop-clean-and-refill features. Pretty cool voice activation too. However, in order to take advantage of all these features, the Deebot depends solely on an accurately-drawn map of the floorplan, and the only way to provide this floorplan is via the mobile app, which attempts to infer it via its auto-map feature.Every time I try to auto-map my floor, the app misses a room or two, combines or divides rooms incorrectly, or just offsets everything by a few feet so the map is never accurate. I’ve tried tricks that I found searching online (manually blocking hallways while auto-mapping, shutting all windows to avoid reflections, moving the base to different locations, etc) and none of them have worked. I even contacted Ecovacs customer support, and while they were friendly and helpful, they acknowledged the limitations of the auto-mapping software. In comparison, I also own a Roborock Q Revo and a Shark Matrix Plus. Both of these have inferior hardware capabilities, but I never had a single problem with their mapping software. If rooms were not auto-detected correctly, the option to manually adjust them in the app was very simple and quick. The Ecovacs app provides similar options to manually combine and divide rooms, but I have not been able to successfully divide the rooms (it just says “failed” when I try to do it without an explanation).I’ve spent countless hours re-mapping and trying to get this to work — much more than it would take to simply vaccuum and mop my floor the old-fashioned way. One time it worked for about an hour, and then the map somehow got offset by about 4 feet. The Deebot is not capable of recalibrating once this happens, so the closest I got was having it vacuum only the left side of every room.Given that many others have been happy with this product, maybe I’m just unlucky. Or a better explanation is that most of the complaints are from people trying to use it on a large floorplan (more than 500 sq ft), so I’m guessing that the more area you need to cover, the worse it will perform. So if you have a small studio apartment, the Deebot might work great. If you have a large floorplan with 6 rooms, you will likely have a difficult time getting it to work as intended. My advice to prospective buyers: if you decide to buy this, set it up immediately and test it out frequently while the return window is still open. Specifically you should do this:1. Have it map your floor and verify that it captures all of your rooms correctly. Do this a few times to make sure it *consistently* maps your floor correctly. Take it everywhere you think you might use it (other floors, other homes, etc) and make sure it can consistently map those locations correctly as well. If you have any problems with the map accuracy, return the product.2. If you get an accurate map, then try a few runs of vaccuuming. See if the map changes or if the robot veers off track. If you can do 10 runs without any problems, then maybe you’re safe. Otherwise return it immediately. One positive note is that the Ecovacs customer support has always been available and have tried their best to help me in resolving the issues I’ve described. So I recommend trying it out, especially if you have a simple floorplan.

I’ve had this vacuum for months now and while I hoped my complaints would resolve, they haven’t.I previously had a Roborock brand vacuum that I loved, but grew tired of having to empty the dust bin after every room. My Belgian malinois sheds constantly, so there is always a lot of hair to contend with. I opted for this one because Vacuum Wars rated it so well, and I really wanted a self emptying one and to try out the mopping functionality. After having this one for several months, I’m always frustrated with it. Even on the most frequent emptying setting, it still is regularly clogged with fur, something that never happened to my Roborock. I have to pause its cleaning to unclog it, which almost always results in it deciding it’s lost and quitting its job to return home. Then I have to restart the job, losing time. I solved this annoyance by dividing my rooms into smaller rooms so I could clean out the clogs between “rooms” and not have to repeat areas, since it doesn’t ever tell me when it’s clogged, it just starts leaving little piles of hair and dust places.I tried to solve the clogging by switching from sweep/mop at once to sweep everything then mop, thinking keeping the hair dry would prevent clogs. It does lower the frequency of clogging by I’d guess 50%, but doesn’t solve it. And cleaning one rooms takes twice as much time because it still goes over all the rug areas with the mop lifted when mopping instead of avoiding them, despite adding accurate depictions of rug placement to the map on its own.It also won’t clean in the toe kick area under the kitchen cabinets despite having over an inch of clearance, so I have to get out the other vacuum after it’s finished with the room. The mopping functionality it pretty impressive. But if anything has moved in the room where its base lives it will get lost and abort the job. I had to remap my entire house a couple of times after a box or plant moved before realizing that if I have it always clean the room it lives in first, it seems to be able to get its bearings and go about the rest of the house afterwards. And it can’t climb over the same semi- shag rugs my Roborock could tackle without issue. All in all, I’m sad to report it is just not worth $800. Roborock was a better product.

Coming from a Roomba s9+, I knew that there had been a lot of innovations made in the robot vacuum space. That being said, the difference in technology and features between the s9+ and this vac/mop is similar to comparing a flip phone to today’s flagship smart phones. My Roomba feels prehistoric after using my new x5 Omni Pro for the last few days. Everything just WORKS and doesn’t cause me ongoing headaches from error messages, getting stuck, disconnecting from the WiFi, or just simply being so loud that the neighbors complain (true story btw).I have been biding my time over the last few years waiting until I found the perfect robot mop/vac combo that had all the features that were important to me for under $1000. Had the Eufy S1 Omni Pro been priced around this I would have gone that route, but the m5 Pro Omni was my 2nd choice but was priced right at the top of my budget so that’s how I got here. My first robot vac that I got in 2020 was an entry level Ecovacs Deebot and it was a solid product so I trusted the Ecovacs brand, and let me tell you that they DO NOT DISAPPOINT.The features on this thing are too many to count offhand but here are favorites of mine that stick out:1. Recordable video monitoring.-I found this while just messing around with it but it’s just a cool feature that I’ll probably never have practical uses for. See video for example.2. Seamless connection to 5 ghz wifi network.- It’s annoying how many smart devices in 2024 still only connect to 2.4 ghz. I know there are work around to circumvent this issue, but for once I just wanted to have a robot vac that just worked.3. An equal focus on mop functionality similar to the vacuum features.- A recurring issues I kept finding while researching for a new vac/mop was that even the ones that could automatically switch from vacuum to mopping, it always seemed like the mopping features always came secondarily. Seeing that I have all hardwood floors I wanted something that had equal focus on both or even greater focus on the mopping. The m5 Pro Omni mop function works incredibly well and handles my apartment with no issues. Even switching from flooring to my rugs, it handles it like a breeze. I also like that over the course of cleaning my entire 1100 sq ft apartment that it will return to the station to clean the mopping pads countless times to make sure the mop pads are always clean. The frequency that it does so is adjustable in the app.Overall I bought this for one simple reason, to make my life easier. My old Roomba seemed to create just as many problems as it did solutions. This Ecovacs on the otherhand just works with no issues at all. And as a tech enthusiast, experimenting with the different features this thing packs is just a delight. Is it a lot of money to spend? Yes. Is it bound to be cheaper on less than a year? Also yes. Ultimately these things are going to exponentially improve as the use of AI become standard, so here’s my recommendations.BUY THIS IF….- You have a Roomba s9+ (or other robots from before 2020)- Have a home that’s over 70% hard flooring- Love new technology and smart homes- Enjoy things that you can “set and forget”- Are certain you want a new robot but are unsure of which to buy.DO NOT BUY IF….- You already own a robot with auto mop/vac functionality.- Don’t really care about the bella and whistles of new technology.- Dont need a robot with a robust mop feature set.Hope you enjoy as much as I have if you ultimately decide to purchase this!

This is my 3rd robot vacuum in less than 6 months. Each has come from a different manufacturer. The first kept having problems that prevented it from completing it’s job. I would find it dead in various parts of the house. Factory support was poor and didn’t seem to care. The second would never connect to the app and as a result I was never able to use it. Factory support was worse than poor, slower than molasses, and could offer no reasonable solutions. This unit Is outstanding. It covers the area better and quieter, and removes more dirt and debris. I had 1 problem with the battery going dead before the unit could return to the dock, but factory support was outstanding and got me up and running quickly. Only one complaint; I asked for a comprehensive user manual (the provided manual and the downloadable manual are lacking in detail), I was given a link to a fairly large selection of video tutorials. After reviewing the tutorials, I would still prefer a comprehensive manual. The app works well but it’s not intuitive, and some of the settings leave you guessing as to what they might actually do. None of this is a big problem, more of an annoyance. If the documentation were better, I would have given this unit a 5 star rating.

I gave this four stars because It does do a stellar job at cleaning up messy floors caused by two high shedding dogs that bring a lot of dirt in through the dog door. My disappointment is with its ability to handle the fur. I did a lot of research and this was one of the higher rated units for handling dog hair. Plus side, the roller does not get clogged which has been a huge problem in the past. New challenge, something is too small for all of the fur to get sucked out by the base. The hair tends to get clogged up inside of the unit and I have to pull this out on a daily basis. What’s disappointing is I just want to let it go and then deal with this maybe once a week, but this is not happening. The unit has AI which is convenient and it is very good at avoiding obstacles. The base is huge compared to previous units I have owned. I highly recommend getting additional cleaning supplies, including the solution for the bladder. It does get quite rancid. They are pricey but they’re concentrated. The application has a link to purchasing these supplies or obviously you could get them through NiceShine.

I was excited when it showed up. I followed the quick step instructions & I plugged the unit in. I attempted to use the winbot 2 & it said fully charge before using. So I waited a couple of hours. All blue lights illuminated! The message repeated.. fully charge before using. I think you have to unplug the mother ship before it works. Crazy!!!! So, it is now cleaning away… it did get stuck saying it was stuck… it wasn’t. I canceled the job, it returned home and I did the job again. It worked to completion. I am on my second door (just doing the inside as it is too late and dark .. remember I had to wait for the charge?) I hope to be able to see how good a job it does during the daylight & do the outside. So, if you decide on the machine, DONT plug it in at first! Just rinse and squeeze out the pad, fill up the water (why is the water bottle kinda hidden…. I filled it up and THEN found the bottle.. hint: it is in the mother’s hip behind the winbot 2 ) apply to a window, hold the on button on for 2 seconds, and it will go. Don’t forget to download the app. When i finish cleaning the windows, I will update the rating. 5 will be equivalent of windex + paper towels.

The device works great (it’s biggest villain is anything on the ground though) anything like wires or kid’s toys will either jam the rollers or knock of the mop pads. The app is pretty much a beta of an alpha of a kid in a garage in palos verdes with big dreams of designing a workable app. Non of the functionality is properly executed, the communication between the device and the app is fine, the device listens to what app says. It’s what the app does is the problem, you’ll map your house, an two days later it’ll just delete rooms leading to you having to map the house again not a big deal but annoying. You’ll try to divide up rooms, to find it impossible to divide up rooms. And this is important, since sometimes it makes your living room and your kitchen one room, and in my case your kitchen needs way more attention than your living room. So most of the time you end up using the zone clean function, instead of setting up temporal parameters for just the kitchen, which in my case would be three times a day, where the living room would be once a day.

When I first got this machine I wasn’t overly thrilled..BUT…I realized most of my issues were used error.First, let me emphasize during the first couple of weeks, especially if you have pets, this vac will clean a lot of dirt from your home. DO the maintenance at least weekly for the first month. Physically pull out the mopping tray and clean it manually. I initially began having dull streaky floors and was not happy. I researched everything I could and decided to check the mopping tray. I realized it had picked up so much dirt it clogged it and couldn’t suck up the mud and dirt from the tray, leaving the mopping pads dirty. Once it was cleaned, it went back to mopping well.Next, there was an issue of it getting confused and continuously returning to an area that had a step. I watched several YouTube videos and found out how to set up a no go zone. Problem solved.Lastly, I couldn’t figure out how to do different functions on different days. Ie, vac and not mop my hardwood floors 4 days a week and mop and vac the hardwoods 3 days. I couldn’t find videos to explain how to do that. Now comes the best part. I called the number for help (found in the help section of the app) and to my great surprise, I got a live person to help me set up scenarios and schedule to accomplish what I wanted to do. This feature is what is going to make me keep this robovac. I had been contemplating sending it back. Having the luxury of speaking to a human is invaluable. I had another vac that had human customer service in the beginning then went strictly to chat and email. That’s why I didn’t buy theirs this time. Ecovacs won me over with their customer service. (Plus I bought the extended warranty….just saying)I think most of the poor reviews are due to user error and if they would take the time to research their issues, they would find themselves happy with this machine. CUSTOMER SERVICE wins!!!!!!

OK, I deleted my original review about the App and robot not communicating because I was able to resolve the issue. It took almost 2 months and a lot of communication with Ecovacs customer service. They did the best they could and even sent a replacement for free. But the issue continued. My home runs off of a router/extender because of the size of my home and where the master router is placed by the cable company. The repeater/extender is only 8 feet from where the Ecovacs Deebot base station is and in direct line of view. I’ve never had an issue with any devices using the repeater. However, as a last ditch, I’ve-done-absolutely-everything-that-I-can-think-of, effort I connected the robot to my main router. Once I did this, I’ve not dealt with any time out errors since. I’ve had perfect communication between the app and the robot for 3 days now. So…it seems that the robot does not like to continuously communicate with the extender/repeater. THAT seems to have been the problem. I’ve sent this information to Ecovacs as well as spoke with them in person. Now, to review the robot: I’m very pleased with it. It keeps the house clean and I love the ability to vacuum and mop at the same time. It is a bit noisy but the results are worth it. I love the mapping feature and the ability to adjust the map and name the rooms. If you make it a habit to add water to the clean water tank and clean the dirty water tank each day, you will never miss a cleaning while the robot is waiting to finish a job because the clean water is empty and you are away from home. Just a bit of advice.I definitely recomment this robot.

To the point of owning the YEEDI M12 Ultra Pro you will find this vacuum to relieve so much STRESS and back PAIN for those whom suffer from it, that this model simply put, is indeed, the “THOR,” of all robo vacs! I’ve owned this model since August 2024 and I have severe Asthma and allergic rhinitis. I’ve noticed since vacuuming and mopping every day and taking accurate and no nonsense maintenance and care on a consecutive and consistent schedule with my YEEDI. You will only experience one, CON, from this vacuum is that the lenses on the front, back, and bottom of the unit do become simply “CLOUDED,” or rather, dirty after every 12 to 15 days of everyday cleaning on my 1000sq ft home. HOWEVER, the app, compatibility, suction, mopping capability, suction, noise (for those who whine a lot), but for the hard working, successful, retired individuals and for those who have a good care for the world and of themselves! This vacuum is an ELITE robovac and the customer service is of the utmost Phenomenal professional people you’ve ever dealt with to include NiceShine’s customer service!!! This is a more pricier unit and this model does not deserve to be connected with the slogan “bang for your buck” attitude due to the fact I’ve nicknamed my YEEDI M12 Ultra Pro “THOR” for a very apparent reason! The quality and craftsmanship that this YEEDI model is engineered does not compare to any of the robovac model lines, that don’t even dare compare or even come close to the mechanical capability! The labor this robovac completes accurately is going to literally lift off your already HEAVY SHOULDERS!! The battery life is really good and to conclude I just hit the purchase button on the YEEDI M12 ULTRA PRO PLUS 11,800 pa (PASCALS), in white, model! Highly recommend as the YEEDI customer service line literally has your back on their products!!! This is a substantial valid purchase for me as I finally accepted the YEEDI M12 model line is where I’m starting and looking forward to their future engineered model line robovac! Hands down a valid handy robo vac that starts and completes the job assigned without any delays or discrepancies or increased aggressive stress! Greatly RECOMMEND!!!

This robot worked well on larger windows. If you can reach the outside of your window with your thumb on the button, it is great for cleaning windows on upper floors. It returns to approximately the spot you attach it, so if you can get it on, you should be able to reach to remove it. It cleaned surprisingly well, using just water. For me, this was of value for these high windows. Negatives: Even though it says bathroom glass, it did not work on my frameless shower enclosure. It got stuck on the brackets and started to loose its grip. It may work better if your glass is framed in; however, it also did not work well on windows that had a gradual frame, as it crept up and started to lose suction. It is surprisingly bad at smaller windows; it tries to turn around and gets stuck. It seems like it could have been programed to just go in a grid in a smaller space.

After 5 weeks of ownership, the good = great cleaner does what it is designed to do. It does a Nice job on edges and avoidances, both planned and unplanned. I would buy it again — solid 4 stars. 5 stars for cleaning.Ok this is what is needed to earn 5 stars. Better instructions” Need to advise the user that door walls need to be blocked (throw pillows or folded boxes ) on first mapping otherwise the T30s thinks there is another room outside the door wall and creates a ghost room that it tries to get to. – Very funny. Mirrored door walls same thing. Once the correct map is finished you can set up virtual walls and areas that the T30s will avoid without issues. VERY efficient and good battery optimizations. Fine-tuning the map, and the method and process of separating and joining rooms need improving. Sometimes, two separate rooms act as one and cannot be joined. Other rooms cannot be joined. Scheduled cleaning works fine, as does programmed cleaning.A better method of saving a map to a recoverable storage location by map name is needed. Hours can be spent fine-tuning the Maps without insurance that a saved map (or other versions) can be recovered. However, I have never “lost” a finished map. Creating a named backup to a secure location is not available.Needs a louder speaker. I cannot hear the T30s’ responses to commands or controls. I can’t hear you speak! NiceShine Echo skill does not understand custom room names.Buy it if you want clean floors (5 stars). Even when set for standard speed and mopping, I have not needed the extended cleaning options. It is very reliable once you have fine-tuned and edited the mapping. 5 stars for value! “Ecovac,” you only need to tweak your instructions and mapping software. For 5 stars! It would be a huge bonus to be able to program on Win 11.

Just got the t30s, not the pro. First two attempts to map the house failed. I had updated the software right out of the box and thought this was it (1.87 I think). The machine got lost in the middle of mapping and couldn’t find its way back. Then I got the notification there was 1.94 available. Tried mapping again and this time there was completion. However, I have glass windows from floor to ceiling in some areas and the machine assumed the space behind the glass was part of the room. Still trying to find out how to edit that space out. I also assumed the unit would update its map during an actual cleaning run or would allow to fine tune the mapping. The machine also did not venture into a room where the door was not completely open but at a 45 degree angle. The unit also decided one room into two or more rooms for some strange reasons as well as a hall way was split into two rooms. The space under a couch was ignored even so it was higher then the robot and should be easily run underneath it. Looks like some more software dev is needed. I like the phone app which lets me monitor progress. Will monitor how this goes. What I also like it is quiet enough and so far my dog is not barking at or attacking it yet. Low noise means it could be run at night if all the chairs are put up. Going thru the chair legs seems to be somewhat challenging. Why can’t the machine just push the chair out of the way 🙂

EDIT: Okay, well it doesn’t work anymore, stopped dispensing water, stopped mopping correctly, stopped drying correctly (makes the floors smell like mildew when it does manage to mop), its navigation has completely deteriorated (just slams its empty skull against the wall over and over and over until it speed slams itself into the wall and then bumbles off to another part of the house to terrorize). Honestly, I want to frisbee-sling this thing into a tree as hard as I can. I want to smash it into the ground over and over, it’s that annoying. And they’re charging $1,000 for it…. yeah. Scam.ORIGINAL: I really like this guy (T30S) compared to my old Shark robot vacuum, I have a golden retriever so I know there’s never going to be a robot vacuum that can pick up every piece of hair but I was hoping this one would be a bit better about not getting tangled. Not the case. While it still runs fine with hair wrapped around, it’s still annoying that after all of the innovations in tangleless brushes they’d have included this in a $1,000 machine. Or at least maybe offer an upgraded brush like the Dreame brand offers for their models. This machine is also very much not quiet if you’re expecting that, it’s not loud, just a very mechanical noise from it as it runs around the house, the vacuum portion is about as loud as the mechanical noises of the machine so it’s negligible but wild that the loudest noises from it are the machine itself. Compared to the Dreame comparable model that is much much, more quiet, where the loudest noise is from the vacuuming itself, and even then it could be mistaken for soft white noise on standard mode. This machine is able to detect things well in clear light, do not expect it to detect small items like animal items unless it’s EXTREMELY well lit and/or on light flooring, otherwise don’t even hope this will avoid something. The mapping is very well done, it can run around quickly and map well and distributes up the rooms well. The most frustrating thing about this product is the very aggressive side sweeper. It will absolutely mess any and all light carpeting and any corners it’s hitting, it will flip carpets up, run them upside down, move them, fray them, and god forbid a thread get wrapped around any part of it because youuuu bet this thing will pull and pull and pull that thread out till your carpet is unraveling. Lastly, this will ABSOLUTELY mop your carpets. If you have any white carpets you better make them and no go zone with a nice buffer, because this sucker will line up so perfectly with it to where the robot is just a little under halfway on the carpet but the majority of it will be on the hardwood that it thinks it needs to mop. so yes, one mop pad will mop your carpet, one mop pad will mop your floor, staining the carpet the entire time <3 Really aggravating. Oh, and the mop pads will often get stuck under the edges of carpets or other things since theyre just magnetically held on there. I do enjoy the hot air drying, the hot water cleaning, and the tap start functioning. It does a great job vacuuming and mopping, floor have never been so consistently clean (albeit my white carpet), and I love having my gym mopped daily, keeping the rubber, sweat and foot smell away. I think they have a detergent they want you to use but I just use pine sol cause I like the smell, which is nice, but I do also really like the automatic detergent addition offered by the Dreame, and their scent is also very nice.

I recently purchased the ECOVACS Robot Vacuum Cleaner DEEBOT X5 PRO Omni, and it has been an absolute game-changer for my cleaning routine. If you’re looking for an efficient, high-tech solution to help with both vacuuming and mopping, this is definitely worth considering.Efficiency: The DEEBOT X5 PRO Omni is incredibly efficient. It combines both a vacuum and mop in one device, and it does both jobs seamlessly. With its 12,800Pa suction power, it picks up dirt, debris, and pet hair effortlessly, even from carpets and hardwood floors. The added TruEdge Adaptive Edge Mopping feature is especially useful for reaching corners and edges where dust tends to accumulate, leaving my floors spotless.Tech-Savvy & App Control: What really stands out to me is how tech-savvy the DEEBOT X5 PRO is. You can control the robot through the ECOVACS app, which is user-friendly and intuitive. The app makes scheduling cleanings, adjusting suction power, and customizing your cleaning preferences so easy. It’s nice to be able to start a cleaning session or adjust settings from anywhere, whether I’m at home or on the go.Voice Control: A great feature is the ability to control the volume of the voice prompts coming from the robot. Whether you want a more discreet experience or to hear it more clearly, you have the flexibility to adjust it to your liking. This adds a level of customization that I really appreciate.Mopping & Vacuuming Performance: The mopping feature is fantastic. The DEEBOT X5 PRO Omni uses hot water (up to 150℉), which really helps in breaking down grime and stubborn stains. I’ve noticed that my floors look noticeably cleaner, and it’s even tackled spills I would usually scrub by hand. It’s also great for homes with pets, as the ZeroTangle technology prevents hair from wrapping around the brushes, making maintenance a breeze.Overall, the ECOVACS DEEBOT X5 PRO Omni is a powerhouse of a robot vacuum. It combines cutting-edge technology with impressive performance, all wrapped in a user-friendly package. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast or someone simply looking for a more efficient way to clean, this robot vacuum won’t disappoint.

Had her for 8 months now, she’s wonderful, but she does get stuck on cables and has lost her way to the docking station several times.I love this machine though! One of the best I’ve had, I’ve had a bunch of other roomba types and she’s the best on the market by far! I wish she did avoid obstacles the way they advertise, I frequently catch her sucking up cables. We have a large Europe main Coon, a shiloh Shepherd XXL bred dog, a corgi, and a tabby cat and you never see hair on our floor.I recommend highly getting her to focus on different sections or the house on certain days rather than all in one go, makes the battery last better!

I have to list few details about this vacuum1. Suction Power & Cleaning Efficiency• The 11,000Pa suction power is exceptionally high. This makes it highly effective at picking up pet hair, dust, and larger debris on carpets and hard floors.• ZeroTangle Technology helps prevent hair from clogging the brush, making it great for few females home or pets home.2. Mopping System• TruEdge Adaptive Edge Mopping ensures the mop reaches corners and edges effectively.• The hot water mop washing is a standout feature, providing deeper cleaning and preventing bacteria buildup on the mop pads. (which i personally really like, i think heat water can kill some germs as well)• Auto-mop lifting allows the vacuum to transition seamlessly between carpet and hard floors, avoiding unwanted wet patches on rugs. ( we do have combination wood floor and rugs)3. Smart Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance• The AI-powered obstacle avoidance works well in detecting and dodging objects such as furniture, cables, and pet bowls. (special when it reach to stairs)• It features LIDAR navigation, which maps out the home efficiently and ensures thorough, structured cleaning rather than random movements.4. Self-Emptying & Self-Refilling Dock• The docking station empties dust automatically, reducing manual intervention.• Self-refilling water system keeps the mop ready without the need for frequent refilling.5. Smart Controls & App Integration• The vacuum is compatible with smartphones and smartwatches, allowing for convenient scheduling and monitoring.• Integration with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant makes it easy to start and stop cleaning with voice commands.• The ECOVACS app provides real-time monitoring, customizable cleaning schedules, and mapping for no-go zones and specific area cleaning. ( I can control while i am not home)Pros & Cons✅ Pros:✔ Ultra-powerful suction – one of the highest-rated in the industry.✔ Self-emptying & self-refilling – reduces maintenance significantly.✔ Hot water mop cleaning – improves sanitation and mop longevity.✔ Smart navigation – accurate mapping and obstacle detection.✔ Auto-mop lifting – prevents wet carpets.✔ Voice assistant and app control – seamless smart home integration.❌ Cons:✖ High price point – might be too expensive for budget-conscious buyers.✖ Bulky docking station – requires sufficient space for placement. (it is big Giant at my house)✖ Limited color options – only available in black. ( i would it could have pink)✖ Water tank size – although self-refilling, the onboard tank could be bigger.

Honestly, who would ever have thought I needed what is essentially a Roomba for my windows? Well, first of all, I don’t do windows. Never have, probably never will. It’s just not in my DNA. A friend of mine got one of these, and I was intrigued, never even knew this type of thing existed. The more I thought about it, the more I knew I needed one. Total impulse purchase, but I jumped in and did it. Honest to God this is the most fun housekeeping toy I have ever had in my entire life! I feel like Joan Jetson, which will essentially tell you how old I am! 😂 This is the kind of thing you could sit in your living room while sipping on a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and watch and be totally entertained! I’m at the point where I’m looking for friends I can visit so I can pack up this nifty little gadget (she’s very portable… I know it’s a she because she honest to goodness talks to me, no joke!!) and laugh over a glass of wine while she cleans windows at their houses! My friend who shall remain nameless should be on commission with this company!

Does a great job on big windows – suction on the outside window is good. Reaches everywhere but had to run over my dirty windows 3X to get them clean (the first time). Requires more often cleaning than by hand, but requires 1/10th the effort.

We’ve had two other robot vacuums and this one blows them out of the water. The sensors are incredible, it never runs into a wall like so many of the others. It maps the space incredibly fast, then when it starts to clean it auto returns to home to empty its dustbin and clean its mop- AND THEN RESUMES at the exact spot it left off. It cleans thoroughly and efficiently! We have two active dogs and it’s mud season right now as the snow melts and this thing is doing a better job than even our human attempts, haha! It’s expensive but in this circumstance you actually get what you pay for. I might write this vacuum into my will at this point.

***Updated**** 20March25The company did honor their warranty and provided me with a new unit that works just as well as the first one did when brand new. This product does require some time to properly set up and get working the way you want it to. But once you get the house maped, rooms labeled and get the settings where you want them it’s fantastic and worth the time to set up. PRO TIP: Once you have your map set up and labeled BACK IT UP. If you leave a door closed for too long, move furniture around drastically it can cause you to have map issues and the robot will start creating a new map. Backing up your perfect map, will save you a lot of time and headache. They did make the warranty process as easy as possible. As soon as they received confirmation that I sent back the old unit, they shipped the replacement. I waited a few months before I updated the review. I will update again after I have used this one for 6 months.January 2025: Purchased this in July 2024 and end of November it started to have mapping issues. Reset to factory and remapped the house and then I started getting bumper stuck errors. I tried to fix this myself, used a can of air and a vacuum to try and blow any dust that might be in the sensor causing the sensor to malfunction but it didn’t fix it. I finally took the time to call the tech support. They were very helpful and didn’t make me do a bunch of stuff I already tried (which I appreciated). They sent me an email where I had to send proof of purchase, video of the error, and my information and after they review the information if they think it is a warranty issue they will send me a label to send it in to be fixed. This is my third and most expensive robot vacuum. The fist was a samsung that didn’t have an auto empty, it lasted three years and died when my daughter moved back home with a golden retrieve. The motor burned up from not emptying the bin. The second was a iRobot Roomba that had the auto empty it lasted two years and then had issues emptying, saying the bag was full when it wasn’t.When this came, I loved it, the technology was great when it worked. I loved that it mopped and vacuumed my floors. The hand held vacuum was handy and useful for quick clean ups or to clean the furniture. I purchased it from NiceShine because it was on sale and at the best price I could find at $900. I am disappointed that it only lasted 6 months and I am not very hopeful that it is going to last more than a year, once the warranty runs out I will have to purchase another one and I think I will go back to the iRobot. I also think it will be worth purchasing from a different retailer that has more than a 30 day return policy such as Costco.

I thought I’d treat myself to a new Ecovac, my old one had been so dependable and cleaned well. I was after the extra sucking power having a Golden Retriever. The new T30S I can NOT get to clean the entire house and have tried all the tricks the instruction manual suggested. The area it does clean it cleans well and I like the mopping feature. The instruction manual said to fill fluid to the fill line…there is no fill line on the liquid container and to add the appropriate amount of cleaner, which no where does it say what the appropriate amount of cleaner is. All in all, I should have just stayed with my old Ecovac and saved myself a lot of money.

It works great, at least cleaning-wise, yet I had an issue with the accessories tray that won’t open and had to return the whole behemoth for revision. They sent me the return label but yet, putting this thing back into the box is a chore. Now, the app is very complex and setting up the vacuum takes some time and a lot of patience. It has a logic, but you’ll have to find it: it is not a straightforward process if you want it to do specific things, like, vacuuming on Mondays and moping on Tuesday… You can alway let the AI to choose whatever it think it should do but I’d rather have the robot going around when I decide and not when it does. In shorter words: it is a project, you need to constantly take some level of care with it (it gets disoriented every once in a while, it decides not to mop, so I have had to send it back to the station and start over the process…) the hand held vacuum is powerful and easy to use, and the fact it will empty itself into the base station was the main reason for me to choose this particular model. So in resume, it is a complex not very dependable machine, but it does everything very well, when operating normally. I compare it to a nice old classic car: you take care of it and it may concede you a few weekends of fun. (not guaranteed, though). Buy at your own expense and enjoy the ride.

I recently purchased the DEEBOT T30S Combo complete , and I’m happy with its performance. It’s a significant improvement over the previous brand I tried and returned. However, I feel there are still a few areas where it could be even better1. Mop Washing – It would be helpful if the App had an option to dry the mop immediately, rather than just having preset drying times of 2, 3, or 4 hours. Since I have a small house, I shouldn’t be facing this issue.2. Dust Bin Emptying: I have three floors, and I’ve saved three different maps in the app. There should be more options for dust bin emptying times, such as 10, 15, 25, or 35 minutes, instead of just the AUTO setting. As you know, we cannot move the base unit to the basement or first floor.3. Handheld Vacuum Power: The handheld vacuum works well with the small extension, but when I use it with the power brush extension rod on the floor, the suction feels weaker, even after adjusting both suction modes.4. Inconsistent Cleaning: The robot sometimes misses spots and requires a second cleaning command or needs me to select a specific area for cleaning.

I have watched many videos and compared quite a few robot vacuums. I purchased for this was the first one I had received from different brands. My previous robot vacuum is about 15 years old.. my expectations were not even close to what I received. I read a ton of reviews, but wanted to see for myself. Be aware that most reviews did not match the actual product. This vacuum exceeded anything I expected. I am extremely happy with what I got. Hopefully it lasts as long as my previous robot vacuum. I expected the mop to carry around dirty water. And the vacuum to also be bumping into everything because that is what I’m used to. I would use the robot vacuum just to quickly clean, followed by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping manually. Let me tell you with this vacuum you will never have to sweep mop or vacuum by hand ever again. It maps at your house instantly. The battery lasts pretty well on lower settings, which is more than enough to do a good job cleaning. It gets every corner and the selling point was when I saw the baseboard. This vacuum gets every corner up to the wall. The brush extends which is hard to find in any other vacuum and washes the baseboard. Also, I turned it on at night and fall asleep while it’s cleaning. It is not loud at all. It does not bump into anything. The battery lasts enough to clean my one bedroom apartment. Also, it does not spread around dirty water in the cleaning process. It returns to a tub empties itself out and washes the mops with hot water. After the cleaning process, I flipped it over to see how dirty everything was, and the vacuum was as clean as like it never touched the floor. Very, very satisfied. The vacuums I compared to was the Roborok , shark, I Roomba. The shark and the Roomba never came out out of the box. I returned them right away because there was no point. I definitely recommend.

The Ecovacs Deebot T30s has decent suction at 11,000Pa and the ZeroTangle feature seems to help with pet hair. The edge mopping is okay for corners, and the OMNI station’s automation of dustbin emptying and mop washing is convenient. It’s a bit on the expensive side for what it offers in terms of overall cleaning performance.

My floors will forever remain clean! I’ve been a robot vacuum user for many years. I typically buy iRobot products but three years ago I tried the Eufy vacuum. I thought those were great products, until I received this. Gone are the non-logistic cleaning patterns that I’ve experienced using other robot vacuums. This machine methodically and intelligently cleans first cleaning the perimeter, then coming back around to clean from right to left, methodically going up and down, right next to the last path, to ensure that all of the flooring is cleaned. Not a speck of dirt is left after it’s done and the self clean function is a God send. All. I have to do is empty and refill the water and maintenance the machine every so often to clean the filters. Set up was a breeze and I’ve never had any issues with wi-fi connectivity. Lastly, the machine knows exactly where it left off when it has to stop to refill with water to dump debris. It can map three different floor plans, or three different floors; however, I plan to purchase another for upstairs so I have to lug it downstairs to empty and refill or lug the base upstairs. Last but not least, I receive compliments about how snazzy it looks quite often!

Be careful with windows that have a ramp at the edge. Most of my windows have this. The edge detectors of the winbot have trouble detecting the edge and even fell once from about 6 feet up. Nothing broke, but it was scratched. Otherwise it is a really nice machine and it’s really nice not having to clean the windows. A bottle of window cleaner is provided, but I couldn’t find any online. The instructions tell you to use water.

I’ve finally found the robotic vacuum that truly lives up to the hype: the Ecovacs DEEBOT X5 PRO. From the moment I set it up, I’ve been consistently impressed with its performance and reliability. This isn’t just a vacuum; it’s a partner in keeping my home spotless, and I can’t recommend it enough!First and foremost, the reliability of the X5 PRO is outstanding. It consistently completes its cleaning cycles without getting stuck or encountering major issues. This consistency is a huge relief, knowing I can trust it to do its job every single time. The app integration is absolutely seamless. I’ve used other smart home devices with clunky apps, but Ecovacs has nailed it. The app is intuitive, responsive, and packed with useful features. Scheduling cleanings, customizing cleaning modes, and monitoring the robot’s progress are all incredibly easy. And the results? Spotless floors, every time. Whether it’s hardwood, tile, or my area rugs, the X5 PRO leaves my rooms looking pristine. The powerful suction effortlessly picks up dust, debris, and even pet hair. One of my favorite features is the intelligent mop lifting system. This is a game-changer for homes with both hard floors and carpets. The X5 PRO seamlessly transitions between surfaces, lifting the mop when it detects carpet, ensuring no unwanted moisture. This thoughtful design shows that Ecovacs understands the needs of real homes. In short, the Ecovacs DEEBOT X5 PRO has exceeded all my expectations. It’s reliable, the app is fantastic, and the cleaning performance is exceptional. If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line robotic vacuum that you can trust to keep your home clean, look no further. This is a highly recommended investment for anyone seeking a truly effortless cleaning experience!

I was hesitant when I was buying this and I would say rightfully so because I had never seen a device like this. The first use, we attached to a tall but narrow window, thinking it would be a good test for navigation. The Winbot had no problems with navigation and turning in a tight space. I could not believe how clean the window was when it was finished and the best part is, it only uses water to clean. No chemicals, no soaps, no gimmicks. The battery life is pretty good too. My experience has shown the battery to last about 2 hours, which equates to about 6 – 7 large windows (6’x4′) Your mileage may vary. My only complaint is not being able to run this while plugged in, which I think would help with battery life. It has to be unplugged and running off battery to work, so it increases the time required to clean due to the recharging cycles.

The Five stars are for people who clearly doesn’t look at the three or four stars (My personal take is it a four stars for reasons below). The good: If feel very durable and heavy. It also has the nice functionality of mapping the house and saves me the time and it has nice features in the app where you can do other stuff.Personal rant here: Let me say NiceShine doesn’t let someone used a product for a full month to get a good review and I also brought this on a sale (Note: It goes on sale very often at 40% off never buy this product at original price). This also doesn’t come with the cleaning solution that you need so you have to buy that separately.Lets talk about the replacement parts never buy it from their site it a complete scam on NiceShine they have it here for cheaper.I brought this product on March 9, 2025 and I will do follow through and update after my experience within the next 30(60) days for a more complete usage of the product.

We have a small retail shop in a very dusty area with a lot of foot traffic. I saw this online and wanted to buy it. We spent what I felt was an inordinate amount of time at close and trying to get the fine dust up. My wife was opposed due to the price. It’s not cheap by any means. I bought it anyway. She is absolutely in love with it. The floors have never looked so good. We do have to pick up a few cords here and there because it will get stuck on thin electical cables. But wow! So nice. We put some pinesol in the water tank and the place smells great and look even better every morning!

What an amazing machine! Mapped perfectly the first time and did our entire house (2500 sf) in 45 minutes. Does a great job getting into corners. The mop will raise over carpet or you can set it to avoid the rug altogether. I have hard wood and ceramic tile and it does a great job taking care of the pet hair (2 dogs and 1 cat). Does a great job with the carpet once it’s on it but sometime making the transition, there may be a clump of dog hair that gets transferred to the carpet. Doesn’t happen a lot, but it has happened. Oh, and this is the quietest vacuum I’ve ever had. I’ve had the roomba, I’ve had the shark, and this is hands down the winner!

The Ecovac combo that I bought was one of the best investments for my home. The setup was super easy and straightforward. The packaging was top notch and reminded me of a certain high end phone company. There were no issues with the packaging and the product itself. The best part is that it maps out everything in your home and then you tell it what’s off limits. It vacuums everything up and I mean everything. I have THREE dogs that shed their body weight in fur each week so this has been an exceptional experience. Not only does it vacuum well it mops just as good. It self cleans the mop pads and the base is sleek and feels solid. It also holds all the hand held vacuum attachments and both vacuums too. It self empties BOTH vacuums and it is super quiet. None of my dogs even give it notice when it’s running because it’s so quiet. It DOESN’T bang into your furniture like those other robot vacuums. It has lidar so it can adjust if something is moved or moving in front of it.

We bought this last November because our son has one and he loves it. So far we are very happy with it. It’s pretty intuitive and works well cleaning our floors. We have wood flooring with rugs and carpet as well. It mops the floors without mopping the rugs or carpet. It even goes under our kitchen cabinets which is a HUGE plus! The maintenance is very easy. Overall we are very happy with this product.

I’ve used this robot on about 10 large windows in and outside. It works well and cleans in a logical pattern getting the whole window. It is not a heavy duty scubber but is better than me doing it but hand. Buy this if you don’t mind babysitting it but don’t want to fool with buckets and squeeges and water and whatnot. It clamps on firms, shakes to tell you to unhand it, and beeps when done. Simply press the button to detach, move it to the next , and press the button again and it will do it’s thing. Use the safety line when using it on a second or higher floor. I wish I had it when I lived in a highrise. It does need a slightly raised edge to tell where to stop – it can’t be used on things like glass balcony rails with no top edge.

This review is for the window cleaning robot. It appears that a number of the other reviews are for dry / wet cleaning robot. As for the window cleaning robot, spectacular, just awesome. We have a number of large windows, embarrassingly never cleaned, and this robot does a fantastic job. The price of the unit is less than a window cleaning service, and a lot less work setting up a ladder to reach higher windows. It comes with only two washable cleaning cloths, buying another set of ten would is very helpful. The cleaning clothes are reversible, so one cloth per window window (inside/outside). The cleaning cloth should be thoroughly cleaned after each use, otherwise it starts to smear. The robot struggles with the geometry of trapezoid windows but can be manually controlled (requires a bit of exercise).

*UPDATE:After several months of writing back and forth with the company and many unsuccessful attempts to find a vendor that could repair these units, the company’s customer service finally made better on these purchases. While they did not refund for the units, they sent us new units to replace the faulty original units. We’ve only had them working for the past few days, so we’ll hope that they last longer than the previous units did and will work for more than a few months. In the meantime, I appreciate that with enough persistence, there was some action taken by the company to try and make this a better experience for us. Hence why I changed my one-star review to a three-star review. I’ll upgrade the stars again if the vacuums remain working. *fingers crossed*—This was the second and different Ecovac I purchased after a different one completely failed. This upgrade was supposed to be a reliable cleaning solution, but it’s been nothing but issues since the day I set it up. Now I have two useless ecovacs with the same issues! Constant connection problems – fails to connect to the home station, and I’ve followed all troubleshooting steps to no avail. Doesn’t draw water consistently – Even though it’s supposed to mop, it doesn’t do its job. Frequent errors – The unit keeps showing connection errors and fails to clean effectively.Even worse, Ecovacs customer service has been terrible. After going through multiple troubleshooting steps twice (none of which worked), I was told that they could not process a refund due to the units being outside of their 30-day return window. This is despite the fact the product was defective right from the start.Ecovacs customer service then referred me to repair providers, but of the two they recommended one didn’t have parts for my model and doesn’t service the other one, and the other one has not responded to me at all. No return, no refund – Even though the product is defective, Ecovacs refuses to process a refund or take the unit back. Hours wasted on troubleshooting – Their customer service led to no solution at all. Unresponsive repair services – The recommended repair providers can’t help either. This product is an absolute ripoff. I’m out thousands of dollars and still have a defective vacuum/mop. I would highly advise against buying from Ecovacs. Their products fail, their customer service is a joke, and they refuse to stand behind their products. I’m also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and hope they take action.Do yourself a favor and save your money. Avoid Ecovacs at all costs.

The robot works great for windows, doors and mirrors! It cleans very well, saves a ton of time and effort. It programs well to clean the first time with spray, and dry clean the second round. My bathroom mirror doesn’t have frame, I was afraid it doesn’t detect the edges and falling off. To my surprise, it can detect the edges with only slight grout. I even tried it on my bathroom tiles, it cleaned well above my expectations. It’s a life changing for cleaning, I recommended it to all my friends!

I would love to give the vacuum a 5 but there is a couple things that unfortunately are not enough for us. Overall i dont regret buying it. It has definitely done it’s job with proper cleaning. Im sure this vacuum is fantastic if youre a household with not as many pets as mine. It can’t keep up with the pet hair and gets clogged up very easily.I do have to vacuum first with our regular shark to get rid of the thick dog hair laying around before I can start the deebot. But once that thick hair is gone, it works wonders. The mopping feature is definitely the best part of this vacuum, my floors are cleaner than before so that’s nice

The W2 WINBOT is quick and efficient and usually only takes a few minutes to finish on a window. I have used it on both bigger slider doors and smaller windows and it was able to maneuver around tight corners by sliding in a zig-zag manner without getting stuck.Despite the conflicting language in the manual, cleaning does work better if you add cleaning solution in the container rather than tap water. While tap water also works to clean the windows, dirt that has been stuck to the window is more easily cleaned off with the cleaning solution (or alternatively, you can configure multiple passes on the window). While the charging cord is a bit short and doesn’t reach any available nearby outlet while I am outside, the battery capacity is quite good and I can finish the perimeter of the house by just burning around 25% of the battery as indicated by the lights. The fiber cloth is easily removed from the velcro backing and you can just swap it with a clean from from the back compartment. I do find that a wet fiber pad seems to work slightly better than a dry one, but maybe that’s just me… 🙂

We recently bought the Ecovacs W2 Pro OMNI in the U.S. and brought it with us to Taiwan, where we live in a house with a lot of windows. Traveling with the robot vacuum was easier than expected — it fit well in our luggage and arrived safely without any issues.Once we set it up at home, it quickly adapted to our space. Our house has a lot of natural light and open areas, which sometimes causes reflections and glare, but the Ecovacs W2 Pro handled it like a pro. The navigation and mapping worked smoothly, and it rarely got confused or stuck, even with all the glass and bright spots. It does a great job picking up dust, pet hair, and everyday debris from our windows. Plus, it’s quiet enough to run while we’re working or relaxing without being disruptive. We’re really pleased with how well it performs, especially considering it survived an international move and adjusted easily to a bright, open house like ours. The only regret that we have is that we didn’t buy this sooner. We have such a lot of window space amd this unit is just great for us!We have no hesitation to recommend, especially if you can get it on offer from NiceShine.

My life saver! If money can buy time, this is it! It operates quietly and reliably. So far I haven’t encountered the problems I had with Roomba, which bumped into things, insisted going under the bookshelf that’s too low, and got lost or went around aimlessly.

This will probably be a multi part review as I use the robot more. Mapping feature works just OK. The mapping feature I can see may work better for some depending on layout of your home. I need to do a second map to see if I can get room boundaries more accurate. The map edit function have not found a way to actually tweak a room size or boundary. Not a huge deal unless you are trying to keep carpet areas vs floor area boundaries really accurate. I have real wood kitchen floors so don’t like a lot of water dumped on the wood. Vinyl floor folks have no worries. The sensor location to detect carpet vs flooring can allow the mop pads to partially be on carpet edges so keeping tight boundaries between floors and carpets is important to me. Presently in the lightest water mop function it still will leave quarter sized water drops at times. Not acceptable on a real wood floor. I need to see if the water outlet that wets the mop pads can be modified to only keep pads just slightly damp vs more wet? That is my main concern right now. Vacuuming is good, it goes around bar stools and my kitchen chair legs remarkably well. The distance between legs allows the robot to to go between legs to get dust bunnies and dog hair pretty good. No complaints there. As I use it more and figure out tweaks for mopping I’ll update my review.

Really works well! While it is not as hands free as a floor robot because you need to move it from one window to another, it still saves time and effort. While it’s cleaning a window you can be tending the landscaping or plants or wiping done window ledges etc. I’m impressed that is cleans pretty streak free. The other thing I like is I have tall windows that would require getting high on a big ladder to do by hand. With this robot, you just attach it at the lower part of the window and it goes up and does the whole window. I have not had any problems with the robot falling off the window at all. There does seem to be confusion if you just use water in the robot or use their cleaning solution. I am using their cleaning solution because it does a good job. I did not try with straight water. Only down side is their solution is pricey at about $50 for two 33 ounce bottles. Those two bottles should allow me to clean in and out windows several times a year for probably 2 years. Overall this robot pays for itself quickly as having an outside service clean the windows is $500 each time.

I’m really impressed with the performance of the WinBot by Ecovacs. It did an excellent job cleaning my sliding glass doors—leaving them spotless and streak-free. The suction is strong and stable, and it navigates the entire surface smoothly without missing spots.Setup was quick and easy, and I love the added peace of mind from the safety tether. It saves me so much time and effort compared to manual cleaning. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to keep their windows crystal clear with minimal hassle!

We are pleased with this vacuum we’ve been using since Black Friday ’24. The original mapping worked very quickly with a caveat – we remapped after turning all the lights on in every room which helped tremendously. Have been using that mapping for months.Pro Tip: I learned this from a previous reviewer, but after using the auto vacuum feature the first time, select the ‘Rooms’ option and manually select all you want to cover each time. I have not used the auto feature since because this rooms option works perfectly every time. It doesn’t take much time to do. Area cleans also work well. The vacuum cleans well and has multiple suction settings if you need it done quicker. I have had no issues with this vacuum after using weekly for months. Haven’t had to replace the bag yet either. For those with wires everywhere and junk all over the floor, I can see where you’d have issues with any vacuum, not just this one. Help your friendly neighborhood bot out a bit!

This is a very worthwhile product. You can connect your phone to switch the window cleaning mode. This has quick cleaning, deep cleaning, heavy dust cleaning, and corner cleaning. There is both an outdoor cleaning mode and indoor cleaning mode. All you need is to put the machine on the window and it will stick to the glass by itself, if it is not firmly attached, the machine will remind you. The robot comes with a bottle of cleaning liquid and can be charged or plugged in. Both methods are OK. I am very satisfied with the cleanliness, my windows are all very clean. Although it has a corner cleaning function, I have found that sometimes a few corners are not cleaned fairly well, but besides that this robot is very useful. Overall, I am very satisfied. If you are like me and don’t want to do it yourself, don’t have time to or don’t want to pay a window cleaner, than you should definitely consider this robot to save time.

This robot is like the terrible iRobot mop. You add a pad, it squirts liquid, it mops. The mapping is intelligent. It does a good job going up and down – so it is better than not having it as doing this task manually is horrible, an expensive task if you pay someone (that is dirty a week later) – so better than the alternative – but far from perfect.1. It gets stuck on handles. This is super annoying. See the attached. Buying a small yoga block or something vs this box I had on hand.2. It streaks because … you are replacing pads, and wetting them vs what you get in an amazing Narwhal which spinning pads.I will upgrade this when the fix the tech – but it is better than nothing. What they need: 1. The liquid should be in the base and come up the cord. I plug mine in all the time anyway. 2. Stronger suction so you can use spinning pads

The portability of this window cleaner makes it worth it for me. I used to spent atleast triple the amount of time on cleaning windows and would be out of time and energy after. This comes with the solution and the microfiber pads that are actually stored within the device itself. It has 3 settings edge cleaning, deep cleaning and thorough cleaning. The only spot that remains is where the cleaner stops and if you let it sit the wet mop pad leaves an imprint which can be wiped easily but its better to start at the bottom because the cleaner stops where it starts.

First few cleans are amazing but…. It’s not very smart because it will still try to mop a mat and ends up getting tangled. The combs that are supposed to help with the hair actually makes it worse because everything piles up there. Nothing gets through and basically the canister stays clean since everything stays on the main brush. I have 4 dogs and a cat. Vacuuming is a must! Several times a day. And my canister is basically empty since it’s all stuck on the main brush. The dust bag is not full but it keeps telling me is full. The water notification doesn’t know the difference from empty or not in place. The mopping and vacuuming option while it sounds good ends up wetting the dust or hairs it’s vacuuming and getting it stuck on the main brush. It’s like paper maché.The suction is very good. If only the main brush isn’t a problem. The anti drop can’t be trusted.

I love this vacuum/mop. It was very easy to set up on the app. I have a Dog that sheds and it gets at the baseboards to clean up the dog hair. I love that it empties itself and I can set it up to go off at certain times of the day. The mop works great. If I need a heavier clean, I can set it up to bypass an area two times.

I was really satisfied with using it a few times, and I was hands-free. And the wipe is particularly clean. It is easy to use and operate, and there is no need to worry about the safety rope falling from the outdoors, and the adsorption force is very strong, which can easily solve the problem of not wiping the glass outside. It is very suitable for lazy people to operate, and it is worth recommending

I paid $600 for this, and it is worth $600. It disconnects from the base about once a week, and I have to unplug the base to reset it. The mopping pads are connected with a single magnet, and falls off about once a week. It’s not good with cords across the floor. It will eat them. Once it forgot what my house looked like, and I had to make it remap the house. The battery is big enough to do 1 room at a time, when on max settings. I feel like it does a great job tho. Under NORMAL conditions this vacuum is well worth $600 however. I like it and would recommend, but not for MSRP or retail price.

Very cool technology at a cost. Works very well, although you need to use the app to get many of the options and settings. It has no problems sticking to windows, but sometimes get stuck/confused on arched windows. Manual movement via the app can bring the device back to a place where it can be picked up. Using only RO water, the device can leave streaks that will show up in humid environments, other than that it will do a great job cleaning. Do note, that it may take multiple runs to get that nasty dried bird droppings…

This product works great! Was easy to set up my house layout and it leaves my floor feeling so clean and smooth!! I love that i can designate which rooms to go in also in case I don’t want it going in a certain one. The only issue I had so far isn’t even with the machine itself but when I got my package the box was damaged and there was a scratch/gouge on the side of the machine, but doesn’t seem to have affected anything.

This was the best gift I’ve ever been given! I’ve owned a few robot vacuums, but this one was by far superior. At its strongest settings, it suctions almost as well as my regular vacuum. And the mop feature is great! My floors stay so clean now, even with two dogs.It doesn’t mop with hot water, unfortunately, but it still does a good job, especially if you add the cleaner to the water bucket inside. The app has a TON of features, way more than I expected. I have had this product for 4 months now and I still love it as much as I ever did. It makes keeping the floors clean so easy!

I have a 2800sq ft mountain view home with LOTS of windows. For standard windows, large mirrors, and sliding glass doors this is my new best friend. Not perfect. Bug or bird splatters will probably need some touch up either before or after the window is cleaned but does a good streak free job of cleaning windows inside and out. Impressed by the lightweight backpack-sized package that carries everything you need (great engineering design!). Cable from the box on the floor to the robot easily reached the top of windows at 12′.Handled odd shaped triangular windows fine, (1st picture) but one of my windows the robot can’t fit in the corner (robot size) so that required manual help (not the robot’s fault).Got thru about 1/2 of the windows inside and out with the window cleaning fluid that came with the robot. Wish they had included more. 3 weeks to get additional fluid in through NiceShine. They say you can use water and I’ll give that a try on the rest of the windows and add an update. The only problem I had was more to do with the trim on my upper windows. Most windows have a bull-nosed type trim on the outside of the window (see third of the attached pictures). That works fine. My upper windows have a more wider and gently sloping trim (2nd of the attached windows) that the robot can’t detect so it runs up on top of the trim, which breaks the suction on the robot and it either stops and gives a warning or twice fell off (I was in position and caught it luckily). It then defaults to manual (remote control) cleaning which I can’t get to work well enough to get the window clean. Maybe with practice. In summary: easy to use, great design in a small package, does a good job cleaning the window but plan on ordering additional cleaning fluid when you order the robot and be cautious if your window trim on the outside is wide and sloped rather than rounded a bit.

Great machine and it does what it says. You can have it vacuum or you can have it set to mop hard surfaces and vacuum. If you want a deeper clean you can even select how much force the vacuum uses. If the bot runs into trouble it will tell you. My favorite part is it does not rely on a bumper, but sensors. If you leave something on the carpet it will go around it. A great feature for teenage kids and your furry kids. The unit does use a bag for dirt which needs to be changed, but they even put some thought into that. When you pull the bag out there is a piece of cardboard that covers the hole this way it prevents dirt and dust from leaving the bag. A well engineered and thought out machine. I would highly recommend it to keep your house clean.
