We needed something that would serve many purposes. We needed it to be portable enough to take camping, out in the yard while working, and… in the shower for blutooth music. We also didn’t want something diminutive. It’s fantastic. We installed a shelf in the shower nice and high and put the JBL Partybox facing down and man! does it ever boom! When out and about it MORE than handles music needs. The light effect is also awesome.

First and second time well as expected again experience the third time the microphone stopped working I called NiceShine and they told me to return the item but I would have to wait to get a new one and if I didn’t want to do that that I can contact the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement part there but no other attempt was made not happy about NiceShine’s outlook on this issue they were cold and dry straight to the point

This speaker is awesome! We use it for karaoke and my husband also uses it as an amp for his guitar. It’s been quite the impressive party hit! However, even inside our small living room, the sound was not super loud. I also used it outside for a school event and it just doesn’t get quite as loud as I would like. Other than that- it’s great!

Decent sounding portable weather sealed boom box.I was looking for a good compromise between sound, power, portability plus weather sealed for use at the beach. Waterproof was not necessary, just wanted dust, sand and light rain resistance.Pros: Lots of sound, Lots of base. Portable for the size.Cons: horrible battery life. I dont know why it doesnt have a slightly larger battery. While most systems have 20+ hr batteries, this one is only 2-3 hours. If it were only a little longer it would make all the difference. Even 6 hours would be fine.External plug sticks out and you have to uncover everything on the rear port.

It’s a great speaker. Its extremely loud, Sound quality is fantastic…although it’s really dumb you can’t adjust bass and treble when listening via Bluetooth (wtf?). But the battery life is pathetic. Just casual listening, 20-30% volume, from fully charged….after an hour the battery is already at about 50%. Two thumbs down.

We bought this for our parents’ party. The sound was great, Bluetooth connectivity great, cordless mic worked wonderfully! The only minor issue is controlling a playlist on a jump drive. It was a little cumbersome to pause, forward etc. other than that it is a great little sound system. Also, easy to transport! I hand carried it on an airplane in a hand carry bag.

This speaker has subpar battery life. However, it has the perfect amount of sound and pumping bass to rock a small/medium size man/person cave with some kickass tunes…. without being more than subtle white noise to the rest of the house late at night. So, if you plan to mostly keep it in one room and plugged in then it is an AMAZING value for the sound quality and bass produced for the money. The lights even make it more fun for its intended purpose. I’m sure it could also handle the majority of parties 90% of people have as long as it’s plugged in.

JBL is a quality brand that I am familiar with. This unit performed excellently in providing the ceremony music and wireless PA system in a remote area with no access to power. Despite its size, this unit does put out volume and adequate well-balanced bass.

I tested this speaker for a week.In description says battery life up to 6 hours.I couldn’t get more than 5 hours on 30% of power.With 75% of the power I can ran for about 4 hours.If you go to a 100% of the sound power you will get 3 to 3 hours and 20 min max.All the tests were done with normal bass.I never turned on bass boost because bass was already overwhelming!If I was able to get 6 hours on 75% of the power I would keep it. In case like this I decided to return it.2nd bad thing is microphone. Idea is nice, but the execution terrible. Quality of the sound is very bad and not laud enough.Good things are design, size, and price.As I mentioned before, if the battery last for 6hours on 75% I would keep it. Like this is pointless. For any longer parties speaker has to be corded.

I needed a speaker to use at events with fewer than 100 people and this has been perfect. I can setup a playlist and have a Bluetooth connection play background music and the wireless microphone works great for announcements.If I was doing larger events I’d need the next size up of speaker. But for the size of events I’ve been doing, this is perfect.

I’ve always tried to find the best sound from the cheapest pricing.Review: this speaker is well worth the buy! I’m very impressed by its sound. It has loud mids, clear high’s and rich bass. The Bluetooth function has one volume control on your phone, you don’t need to turn up the volume manually on the speaker to be able to control the volume from your phone. Your phone is the only volume control. This does have a USB plug for an old iPod or any other device. Also a common 3.5mm headphone jack for the classic Aux chord choice.Volume is impressive. Its extremely loud. To have perspective, 3-4 clicks of volume up from zero on your phone is comfortable to fill your living room or central part of the house slightly louder than background sound. There are 16 clocks to max volume. Max volume is insanely loud. 100-watts of sound (what it advertises) is what a police siren is rated for (I looked it up lol). It’s concert-level sound tailgating or for a house party. Not to worry, the sub woofer has it’s own self control and stops it’s sound from increasing around 10 clocks from zero. It self-guards itself from blowing the speaker out. Bass is ported to the front and the speaker has amazing bass response no matter where it sits, you don’t need to place the speaker in the corner of a room against a wall to get the bass to resonate against the wall for better response. This speaker that wont work, it holds its own. There are two levels of bass boost and it makes a difference. It should always have the first level (highest level) of bass boost while on. My review would change completely without the rich bass response.The speaker is large. Its the size of a gym bag. That’s my only negative. Its pretty light but it weighs consistent with a gym bag of clothes. Its not too heavy but if you’re walking to the beach you’ll want to use the shoulder strap that it comes with.It also has a wireless microphone. It comes with two AA batteries for it. The microphone is rated for 33ft distance. This is nice for the rare times I’ll use this for a wedding shower, house party, or other uncommon event if we make announcements or play games and need to announce rules. The microphone has a dial on the speaker for independent volume separate from Bluetooth music connection or wired music input. There is a 1/4” size input for a wired microphone, the same dial for volume independent of the music works for it.Battery: it’s rated for 6 hours of play time, and encourages to turn off the light and turn off the bass boost to conserve power. I’ve gotten this speaker to work with the highest bass setting and the LED light on for 8 hours and it still says it has under half-battery. This is running the speaker at comfortable power, a little over background noise the whole time. Obviously if you’re using the speaker at high volume for concert-level tailgate, you’re going to want to have it plugged in.I give this speaker a 10/10 if you don’t mind its large size.

I bought this to use for my kids birthday parties and I love it. The microphone was a really great bonus because I was able to thank my guests for coming. The sound is loud and crisp, I was debating over this speaker and a different one when I saw them at BestBuy and I’m glad I went with this one.I originally bought it at BestBuy but then saw it for more than $100 off on NiceShine so I returned it and bought it here instead. Definitely worth every penny. Now we use it around the house or in the garage when we’re outside washing cars or cleaning.

I recently purchased this box for myself due to the fact that lightning ended the life of my last box. So, I bought this while it was on the 3 hour sale last month for$199 and damn, what a great buy it was! The box connected to blue tooth quickly and plays music fantastic! I got this speaker for my husband. He loves all JBL speakers & HAD to have this one. It’s great. The sound quality, the microphone it comes with is good. However the only complaint I have is the battery life. It says up to 6 hours but I feel like it’s less. I haven’t charged it & then timed it yet but I feel like it does so fast. I can not complain about the look or the sound. Love the different colors that coordinate with the music.

This really is an incredible speaker!! And for the price?!? No comparison!! Perfect for karaoke night or a drunken night of fun. This speaker is even perfect for speeches and you could potentially see this used for a campaign rally. Extremely versatile speaker with the ability to hookup a guitar. Many different knobs to change mic volume, bass, treble, etc. Excellent buy!

The sound is amazing as usual for JBL. But I have to say for a portable unit. It is quite on the heavy side not something that you could just grab and go and I was definitely unsatisfied with the longevity of the battery. I feel that JBL could’ve done better with the battery life.

First off… I love JBL sound… but I want to warn you that all JBL speakers do not sync with other JBL speakers. So when you are buying a speaker to add to your speaker collection make sure it is compatible with the other JBL’s you own. I tried 5 different similar products with similar quality. But, this product is too expensive compared to others. The volume is also not as loud as I expected. The microphone’s sound quality with the speaker does not sync well.

Don’t get me wrong, this speaker is extremely loud and has very high quality sound, and the microphone is a perfect companion for it, but there are a few things I do not like about it. One is the battery life is not great. It probably lasts about 3 hours if you aren’t blasting music, 1.5 if you are. For an “on-the-go” speaker this should be the most important part. Also, I did not realize this speaker is pretty old! It came out in 2020 and is very low tech. It does not have an app that you can control it with which is very annoying. You can’t tell battery life, control connected devices, or tether play with another JBL speaker. For all of those reasons, I probably would have bought a different speaker.
