    I am a tough critic on cleaning supplies especially for the bathroom. This removed the majority of hard water stains on my shower head, faucets and the shower door glass!!!!! I have tried everything. Vinegar works but stinks forever and makes me nauseous.This is messy and takes longer but works! Wet a paper towel, dipped and scrubbed in circular motion. Rinsed and squeegeed. Rinse well or else it leaves a cloudy film. It seems to last. Only been a week but it was worth the elbow grease!!!!!! It also removed mold and hard water grime from my shower head storage thing. I wish scrubbing bubbles would work this well but it does not.

    The baking soda part of the review is fine, normal baking soda. But the packaging… I opened the box and realized it leaked so went to the kitchen to get the container out and then I saw the lid cracked and I guess that caused the seal to bust open? I’m not sure but now I have to find another container to put it all in.

    I use baking soda for a slight abrasive — really helpful for stained dishes and glassware, sinks, and I brush my teeth occasionally with it to remove stains. This is so finely ground that it doesn’t really scrub — it dissolves as soon as it hits water. It’s great for soaking coffee mugs overnight to leave them stain free. It deodorizes my water bottles then rinses easily. I’m sure it would be great for baking. Two pounds is enough to deodorize and clean everything in my kitchen for years to come. I may try using it to absorb odors in my refrigerator if I find the right container for it.

    I buy this large size baking soda, not for baking but for cleaning.When my pet leaves a mess/stains on my carpet, I apply baking soda to the spot then pour white vinegar over it so all the baking soda is bubbling. Let it dry, vacuum – stain is gone!

    This is very good baking soda, but to me it’s just weird that it is not Arm & Hammer LOL. But really, it’s fine, ‘just-as-good-as,’ and it comes in a cylindrical plastic container with a lid, instead of a cardboard box, if you’d prefer that.

    When opening this, I noticed there were 5 little pin holes in the top. I didn’t know if they went all the way through the seal, but after opening it, found that they did. I’m a little afraid that this has been tampered with, and don’t know if I should use it.
