Be aware that the outer sides are soft yet have mulity layers as described. So there is no support to keep the bag straight except your own tripod. It would be great if the bottom side at least has solid base.

Overall this is a nice case, but I’m a little disappointed with the interior dividers. They’re adequate, but kind of on the flimsy side. In fact, there’s no “kind of” about it; they _are_ flimsy. I also don’t really like/trust the way the dividers attach to the interior of the case. They’ve separated themselves at various points on more than one occasion, and I keep having to reset them.Dividers aside, the case provides ample space to store our

. The tripod, with equatorial mount still attached to it, fits snugly in the case; so the case is just the right length. This is not a hard case, of course, so it won’t thoroughly protect your telescope; but it is padded so at least provides some protection. I don’t know if this is true or not, but it feels to my touch like the padding along the long sides is a tad thicker than the padding at the small ends; and it also feels like the top & bottom padding is even less than the small ends. Of course, there’s no protection between the vinyl interior pockets on top and your telescope, so refrain from putting anything significant in those that might damage your finder scope or focusing tube. [In fact, I suggest removing the finder scope before using this case, unless it’s too much trouble to realign again later.] In short, the case will protect your telescope against small bumps under normal use, but don’t stack heavy items on it or handle it like a gorilla.I wish the case as a whole was a little more rigid so there was less give while carrying it on my shoulder, but it is “good enough” for short walks (e.g. from the car to a nearby viewing site or hotel room).Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. The case isn’t perfect, but it has ample room for the scope and some accessories, provides some level of protection against damage, and is convenient for storage and transport.

This fits my Orion SpaceProbe 130 telescope perfectly! It also has a separate bag for the weights. Nice and roomy, you can move the inner separators around to suit your telescope carrying needs. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good value for their money.

No es un estuche rígido, es mas bien una mochila gigante, pero por le precio esta muy bien, se ve resistente, yo recorté y adecué la caja de cartón y lo coloque dentro de la maleta para darle mayor protección a mi telescopio

This bag is sturdy, protective, and there is room enough for the scope, tripod, and all the eyepieces and accessories. I will recommend this purchase to others.

I’m quite happy with this storage bag. It fits my Skywatcher Startravel 120mm/4.7″ F5 refractor and the AZ3 mount and tripod perfectly, with room to spare if your refractor is longer than this short tube. The padded Velcro’d in divider between the scope and tripod is semi-rigid and does the job well, and there are plenty of pockets to store accessories. The carry handles work just fine for carrying it around. The padding is sufficient to make it a great storage bag, and easily good enough to pack in the car and keep it well protected. I did use some of the foam from the original packaging around the optical tube for good measure. I wouldn’t check it on a commercial flight, but that wasn’t expected or anything I have planned anyway. It’s 5 stars as I have zero complaints on this purchase, it’s exactly what I hoping it would be.

The product description explicitly states this case was made with the Celestron NexStar family of telescopes in mind. My NexStar 8SE tube does not fit in the strap. Other than that, it fits decently well in the bag.

It’s amazing. It can fit 1000mm focal lenght, 200mm aperture Newtonian telescope and a tripod. Also some accesories like eyepieces and other stuff. The material is robust and high quality. It protects your optics from dust and a small amount of water, like rain. I love it!

Es bastante amplio, solo que si es pesado llevar todo en un solo portafolio

Very ell made and plenty of room for all the accessories. Don’t make the mistake of getting a bag that is too small. This bag is made very well and has compartments which important to keep your things from getting damaged. Pricey but worth it.

Excellent bag! Fits my Celestron DX130AZ scope and all accessories well. Now I can take the scope to star parties and dark sites away from home. The pockets are big enough for everything except the laptop I use with a camera to take pictures of what I’m seeing, but that’s to be expected. The shoulder strap and handles make it easy to carry, walk with at the site and maneuver in the car.
