The Air 3S offers a good value. Having a giant screen in your pocket that can connect to your phone, laptop or handheld gaming console is a game changer. And for just $210 the quality is really good. The image is bright and the weight is light. I’m able to wear them for longer than some of the other brands without hurting my ears. Highly recommend.Using them for work is not meant to replace a monitor. I use them for work when I’m not at my monitor. Replaces the laptop screen with a big one.

Not sure how anyone could use these for work. Maybe for gaming, but no way to replace a PC monitor. Screen looked small in comparison to my 32″ monitor, and when you have to look around for something moving your eyes vs your head can make you nauseous. As you try to see things in the corner of your screen (like the windows menu), it becomes increasingly difficult. No way I could work with these and be productive. Maybe OK for sitting completely still and watching a movie, not even sure how you’d game with these.Adding to my review and upping my rating for a couple reasons. 1) likely these weren’t designed for work productivity, possibly not fair to test then based on my use case vs intended use case. The picture was clear to the edges although I still maintain these are not for work use where you might have to actually read fine text. 2) the company send to truly care about their customers and had reached out several times to try to get feedback to improve their product. I totally respect that. If you want to watch movies or play games on them, they’re likely a good option for the price point, I was still expecting a slightly more immersive experience, but maybe VR had spoiled me.

+Budget conscious, but don’t feel cheap.+Great audio for the price and I don’t feel the need to use my Sony XM5 headphones.+Picture is bright and clear, but keep in mind it is a 1080p image.-Very small window to get the entire screen in view.-Anyone with a large head be wary. I am just outside of the “one size fits all” hat size and these glasses do not have the ability to adjust for where my ears are. Extensions would have been great, and I don’t see how someone could extend the length without cutting off the back end of each stem to attach a new piece. I feel like that is the only missed opportunity here. This is my first foray into AR glasses and for this price I am very surprised at the quality feel of these Air 3s’s. While they are not perfect for me, I feel like for the price this is an exceptional and I look forward to using these. I had no issues with pairing them to my iPhone 15 Plus or my Lenovo Legion Go. If you have an average or smaller head, I think these cannot be beat. If you have a larger head like me, they can still work but be aware that fitment is not going to be seamless.I highly recommend these as someone looking to dip their toes into the AR world.

Coming from the Air 2s, I was initially skeptical about upgrading to the Air 3s — but I’m glad I did. So far, I’m very happy with the decision. The 3D playback is the best I’ve seen. While the Air 2s was already impressive, the Air 3s takes it to a whole new level.Pros:°The image is sharp and extremely bright.°The on-screen menu is just as easy to use as it was on the Air 2s.°Excellent Picture selection options.°Great brightness level°Sound quality is very good — I still need to compare it directly with the Air 2s to determine which is better.°Gaming at 120Hz makes the experience incredibly smooth.°Edge blurriness has been resolved, and the screen feels slightly larger.Cons:°I wish it had electrochromic dimming.°Also missing blackout functionality like the Rokid or Viture.°If both of these features were added, these would easily be the best AR glasses available.Overall, this is my favorite AR glasses release to date.

These Glasses are insane! I love gaming on my Asus ROG Ally just sometimes because of the screen it can be a hassle, but these changes that! Then I connected it to my iPhone 16 Pro max and they are flawless and fast. I can watch things at night without disturbing anyone as well. Sound quality is great and even the whisper mode is great so there is almost no leakage so you’re not disturbing anyone nor is anyone hearing what you are watching either. If you have the chance to get these get them you won’t regret it!

These glasses are AMAZING!!! These are my fourth pair. I’m a big fan of wearable monitors. I travel for a living so this new tech has been life changing for me. But I have to tell all of you, these glasses aren’t even close to the others that I have owned. The fit, the comfort, how bright they are, the sound. All I need is these glasses and my phone. It’s like I’m in a movie theater. Please do yourself a favor, buy these glasses. Oh side note, they are half the price of my last pair.

This is my first set of XR glasses so I may not have a frame of reference to judge these on, but personally I’ve enjoyed them thoroughly. I ran through 3 hours of a game without ever feeling the fatigue or discomfort you get from full sized VR headsets. The sound is surprisingly full and picture is quite vivid. Can take a bit to find the right adjustment, but it’s worth it when you do. Loving them.

They took the already good air 2 and made them better. I need prescription lenses with my viture one but with these everything is crystal clear without them. The screen doesn’t dim like many other glasses but regardless of that you can still see the image without a problem. Very nice TCL. For this price you can not go wrong

This review is preliminary, and I will edit it as I use the device more. In a nutshell, this is a no-brainer buy at this price point! The Rayneo Air 3s is an impressive piece of technology that delivers a lot of value, especially for those looking for a portable, immersive secondary screen experience at an excellent price.Pros:Excellent Color & Vibrant Display: One of the standout features is the display. It’s beautiful! The colors are rich and vibrant, with a brightness level that holds up well even in sunlight. This makes it an excellent option for both productivity and media consumption.Intuitive & Easy to Use: Setting up and using the Rayneo Air 3s is simple. Connecting it to your devices is seamless, and the interface is intuitive, making it an ideal choice for users who are not too tech-savvy but still want the benefits of a high-tech secondary display.Flawless as a Secondary Screen: As a secondary display, the Rayneo Air 3s performs flawlessly. There are no blurry edges, and the screen provides crisp, clear visuals, making it a great tool for multitasking or media usage, especially movies and gaming.Comfortable for Long Use: The device is comfortable to wear for extended periods. Whether you’re working or watching content, it doesn’t cause strain or discomfort, which is a big plus for long sessions.Cons:Minimal but Noticeable Glare in Dark Media: While the display is impressive, there is minimal but noticeable glare when viewing movies or videos, particularly in dark scenes. This can slightly disrupt the viewing experience but is not a dealbreaker.Limited Content on Rayneo XR App: The Rayneo XR app has great potential but is currently lacking in content and apps. More variety would definitely make the experience more enjoyable for users who are looking for an all-in-one immersive platform.Sound Clarity and Volume: The sound quality could be better, as the volume isn’t always loud enough, and it can sometimes be difficult to hear clearly. This seems to be specific to each device. For example, on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the sound is not as loud as I would like. However, on my Steam Deck, the sound is excellent. I found that, I have to use boosters to really hear media like movies using VLC or Kodi but gaming on the Steam Deck is pretty decent. However, using headphones will give a much more rich and immersive experience.Battery Drain on Devices: A minor but noticeable downside is the drain on your output device. I’ve been using the Rayneo Air 3s with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and it tends to drain the battery fairly quickly. If you’re planning to use it for extended periods, you’ll need to have your device charged or plugged in or buy some of the peripherals that Rayneo offers to alleviate this concern.Final Thoughts:Overall, the Rayneo Air 3s is a fantastic portable display with vibrant colors, a bright screen, and an intuitive user interface. While it has a few drawbacks, including minimal but noticeable glare in dark scenes and limited app content, it still shines as a reliable, beautiful secondary screen. It’s especially useful for people on the go or anyone looking for a personal media experience, offering both comfort and ease of use. Considering the price for what you get, it’s closer to a perfect score. I am very happy with my purchase!

These are my first AR glasses so I have nothing to compare them to. But for what it is I think it’s awesome. Pretty big screen right at your eyes, 1080p, plenty bright. I like the different color modes like a TV. The sound is as good as these little speakers can produce. But for a full immersive experience I’d recommend headphones. I watched a movie with these on and headphones in bed and it felt like my own personal theater.I have a pretty big head and these fit me decent, the arms open wide to fit a large variety of domes.

These are my first AR/XR glasses, I’ve been on the fence about picking up a pair but at $219.00 I said why not.I purchased these glasses for one specific use, to plug them into my Steam Deck. Let me just say these are perfect for what I wanted. They are plug and play, USB-C right into the Deck and boom, picture went straight to the glasses. Now I know these types of glasses are marketed at saying you’ll have a 2000 inch screen in front of your face! But that’s not really the reality of it. It does look like you have a large screen in front of you, but I could compare it to me sitting 2 feet away from my 27 inch monitor. It does look large, but its not an IMAX experience, however it does add a layer of immersion you don’t get looking at a screen. With that out of the way, the screen itself is beautiful. The colors are full and vivid, the screen is bright, refresh rate is 120 hz, for 1080P it is still crystal clear. Even the edges are pretty clear which I was worried about. The blacks are dark and rich as I would expect from OLED. One thing to note is the glasses do not have a dark/dim option to keep out light, so they are not really suited for outdoor use. Inside however the picture is very visible, I decided to keep the protective sticker that comes on the lenses to add another layer of light blockage. Now there is the sound, let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised at how well they sounded. I heard everything clearly and while my brother was about 3 feet away he couldn’t hear them. You also get a surround sound experience from them as each arm has two speakers, one aimed down and the other aimed up.You will need to fiddle with the glasses a bit so that you hit that sweet spot in being able to see the whole screen. For me I had to push the pads all the way into the frame and then put the arms of the glasses at their lowest position. There are three positions, low, mid and high, depending on which part of the screen you are having a hard time seeing. There is no option to change the screen size or pin the screen, which is not a deal breaker for me.I wear glasses daily as I am near sighted, I tried the glasses on first without my glasses because obviously they wouldn’t fit, but everything was blurry as though the screen was really far away. I threw on a pair of old contacts I had and everything looked a lot better. The glasses come with a small eyeglass demo frame which is just the middle piece that goes into the frame of the glasses that connects to two prescription lenses. I tried getting a pair made locally but I was hit with a $250 asking price! Did a little research and found a company called HONSVR that makes inserts specifically for these glasses. Total was $65.00 with shipping. In regards to battery draw, the glasses get their power from whatever they are plugged into. So in my instance the Steam Deck was powering the glasses. To be honest I didn’t notice any more of a power draw compared to just using the Deck alone. I was still getting hours of gameplay from indie games and 2 hours from more demanding games, the glasses didn’t make much of a difference. There is an adapter that will let you use the Deck with the glasses and charge both at the same time, will most likely pick one up once my lens inserts arrive.Comfort wise these are great, the frames are lightweight, the nose pads are comfy and the screen has some kind of technology that helps keeps the eye strain to a minimum. I had them on for roughly 4 hours the other night and my eyes were no worse for wear. All in all, for the price point, build, screen and speaker quality, I would highly recommend these for gamers who are looking for an immersive experience or maybe those who can’t hog the family TV or want to game in bed at night before sleeping and not bothering their significant other.

I own a viture one xr which was my 1st introduction to xr glasses. I paid $400 for them and honestly was not really impressed with them. I sat on them too long and the return window came and went.My main issue with them was the clarity of the image. The edges were very blurry for me and was very difficult to read any text that wasn’t centered. My IPD is 61.5mm and that is the problem with the vitures. There IPD range is not great at all. As much as I wanted to like them I couldn’t and they sat in my drawer forever until I recently started using them again. The renewed disappointment after using them again had me searching online for a new different pair. I literally stumbled upon these Rayneo air 3s on their release date. What a lucky coincidence that was. I was taken aback by the price point and after seeing some online reviews mentioning how they pretty much have eliminated blurry edges, I was sold.I ordered them on the 3rd and got them super fast the next day. After trying them on I was blown away by how clear the screen is. It is noticeably bigger and waaaaay more clear than the vitures. No blurry edges at all. I can read small text through out the entire screen with no problems. Sound is nice too. Not as amazing as how all these online reviews make it seem but still good. The vitures have some features that others might care about that are not on the rayneos but for me they are not important, since I only use these for gaming and media consumption. I dont care about or need 3dof, diopter adjustments or electronic dimming. The only thing that I do like on the vitures that I wish the Rayneo had is the magnetic charging cable. I ordered a magnetic usbc adapter that hopefully will work on the air 3s. If not it’s not a deal breaker. I just like the idea of less wear and tear on the usbc port.So overall I really do like these glasses a lot. Especially at the $219 introductory price. If gaming and media consumption are what you are after, these will not disappoint! Get them now before they go up in price after the 1st week!I’m now going to gift my vitures to my son to see if they work better for him. Rayneo air 3s for the win!

“Wow, the RayNeo Air 3s really surprised me. Slipping them on, I was immediately struck by how light they felt – definitely something I could wear for a good chunk of time without feeling weighed down. And then the screen pops – seriously vibrant colors and super sharp! It’s like having a personal Full HD cinema right in front of my eyes. I can totally see myself using these on long flights or just chilling in bed when I want a big screen experience without disturbing anyone. The integrated speakers are a nice touch too. They’re not going to blow your socks off with booming bass, but for casual watching, they’re perfectly adequate. Plus, the fact that they’ve thought about eye comfort with the dimming is a huge plus for someone like me who can get eye strain easily. For what they cost, I honestly think they deliver incredible bang for your buck in terms of a portable, personal display. However, I did notice a few things. Stepping outside on a brighter day, the picture definitely felt a bit washed out. You really need to be in a more controlled lighting environment to get the best experience. Also, it’s important to remember these are just displays – you absolutely need to plug them into your phone, laptop, or console for content. And while the audio is decent, if you’re after a truly immersive movie or gaming experience, you’ll probably want to reach for your headphones. I also tried to cast wirelessly from my phone, and yeah, you’ll need a specific adapter for that, which is a bit of an extra hassle.Despite those few drawbacks, I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed with the RayNeo Air 3s. If you’re like me and crave that big-screen feel on the go or just want a private viewing experience without a bulky setup, these are definitely worth considering. Just go in knowing their limitations – they’re not a replacement for a full home theater system, but for portable, personal enjoyment, they’re pretty fantastic.”

I recently got the RayNeo Air 3S XR glasses, and they’ve totally transformed how I consume content on the go. These glasses give you the feel of watching a 200-inch screen, which makes them perfect for movies, gaming, or even getting some work done when you’re away from your main setup. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant thanks to the micro-OLED displays, and the built-in speakers are surprisingly loud and clear while still keeping your surroundings quiet. I love how lightweight and comfortable they are – you can wear them for hours without discomfort. They connect easily via USB-C to my laptop, phone, and even my Nintendo Switch, which makes them super versatile. If you’re an iPhone user, you can also view spatial videos using their app, which is a nice bonus. The only minor downside is that they don’t block out a lot of ambient light, so they’re not ideal for use in bright environments unless you get an add-on. Also, while they do work with Mac and Windows, I found the productivity features a bit limited. But for entertainment and general use, these are hard to beat.Overall, they’ve become my go-to gadget for travel and unwinding at the end of the day. Totally worth the investment!

The media could not be loaded.

Very good quality, especially for the price. I have a big head and so I was worried when I bought these they might be too tight as some other glasses have been in the past. BUT I was wrong. They are a little smaller than my head, but quite flexible. The flexibility isn’t weak though. It still feels good on my head, but not too tight. The build quality is solid. You can adjust the angle for better viewing. It is a strong connection and adjusted with a snap. The weight is properly balanced and doesn’t feel heavy. The screen is crystal clear. Very sharp, good brightness. The audio is surprisingly crisp for such small speakers. So far I’ve used it connected to my Pixel 8pro as a screen mirror and on my switch. It works well as a mirror for the phone, but it works great as output for the switch. Same portability for travel , but now with a giant screen. I can get about 2 hours in before I get some eye strain and need to take a break. If you are looking for a good pair of xr glasses there is nothing better near this price point.

I purchased the glasses to use with my laptop in bright sunlight. The build quality is very good. They are light and comfortable on my face. The brightness and crispness of the display is all I could ask for. Having a hard case included is a bonus. I expect to use the glasses not only in sunlight, but for many other purposes as well. There is a little fuzziness on the image corners, but adjusting the glasses fixes it for the most part. I’m pleased to give the glasses 5 stars.

There are some great and detailed reviews already, but I wanted to add some comments and pictures I thought would add to them based upon my initial usage. I ordered when the only reviews out were sponsored, but for the introductory $50 off it seemed worth it. I didn’t want to miss out on the $220 introductory deal.I wanted and expected a pair of glasses that would provide a portable way to watch TV shows/movies while I’m travelling or in a hotel for work. These do exactly that. I have a Quest 2 and enjoy it for the games, but the screen door effect has always ruined watching videos. These have no screen door effect! They are also lightweight and seem to have no internal battery. Since they are pulling power from your connected device, it will drain that device quicker. I’ve been using a USB-C DisplayPort adaptor I already had that keeps my device powered. It looks like Rayneo sells an HDMI and DisplayPort adapter if needed as well. They take a while to get setup comfortably on your face so that you can see the entire screen accurately. The nose pads were key for me finally getting the right fit. They look like they are the same so I thought one was included on the device and the second was a spare, but after looking closer you can see an M and L since they are different sizes. Try both and also adjust how far you “push” the pads into the glasses. There are 3 clicks that will adjust how far it sits away from your face. I’ve attached two pictures showing the difference from furthest in to furthest out.Right now, I’m just using a Samsung Galaxy phone hooked up to play both local videos (.mp4) and videos streamed through the Jellyfin app. It works great using the built-in Samsung Video Player, which also switches off your phone display to conserve battery while using the glasses.Overall impressions for me are great. A portable bigscreen TV with little hassle that I can actually wear on a plane or in an airport.

Finally i got the new 3s glasses with all fixed as i expected. Compare to the 2s, this upgrade version is much better . The big issue of the old version is blurry in the corners. Now i can see the whole screen without blur anymore. Furthermore, the quality of image is clearer and much better . I can wear the glasses for 3 hours without being headache anymore. 3D feature is still not available but not a big deal since i dont watch 3d movies much. Sometimes the screen turns black when i am watching youtube. I have to remove the wire to connect the glasses again to fix it. Overall i am satisfied with all upgrades of new version.

Update: 120Hz not sticking issue was with mobile app caused by having older TCL and newer Ray Neo app on same phone. Video quality poorer than TCL, image not smooth appears blocky and pixelated on video less than 720p resolution.Well, this is a disappointment and annoying. Default is 60Hz! What is the point of buying a 120Hz display when it defaults to 60 Hz! Then when you go set to 120 Hz, it does not stick it always reset to 60 Hz when disconnect and reconnect glasses, custom colors settings also not sticking.Comparing to TCL Nxtwear S (2023 model with magnetic cable), here after aka TCL, the good: runs cooler and lighter. Brightness and volume buttons shows on screen level. The bad, whisper mode does not lower the lowest sound setting at all! The lowest brightness, too bright for night viewing, TCL is dimmer more comfort for night viewing. Default color calibation and temps is cooler than TCL, is warmer and looks more natural. Corners less blurry than TCL, but all 4 edges still have rainbow color issue, i.e. orange or other shades along edges. Brightness and volume button annoying loud clicks when press. Lowest volume is still too loud. TCL dial button and sliding swich feels more quality and much easier to use and fine volume control.Hope future model will bing back the hardware brightness and volume dial control like older TCL Nxtwear S and add diopter adjustment.Zipper handle arrived “damaged”??? it was unhooked from pouch.

The Rayneo Air 2 was easily my best tech purchase for Christmas 2024. I chose not to purchase the 2s based on the deal at the time. I easily used the 2 almost every day to stream content with the pocket tv. I am a huge advocate for the RayNeo Air 2 and the pocket tv.For some weird reason, I logged onto NiceShine and saw there was a 3s, and I was baffled by the price and the discount. It was a no-brainer purchase, seeing as though these just came out. I, like everyone else’s opinion about the blurry edges, wished this could be fixed. Wish granted. I also love the menu button and the 120 hz refresh rate. Also, no one mentioned this in the YouTube videos I watched for the 3s, but there is a now an on-screen display for the volume and brightness as well.I purchased a case previously for the Air 2, and it is a pleasure to know that the 3s came with a case. Even though it is a very tight fit, for those of you that are curious, the pocket tv can actually fit. Probably not advised, but I will do it to save space. Great product.Update: I forgot to mention that I previously purchased prescription Inserts from VR-rock for like $40. At first they sent me and insert that did not fit my Air 2 at all. They were very understanding and sent me another insert. Now that I have the Air 3s, I am realizing that the first insert was for the 3s. Highly recommend.

I bought the second version of these and generally enjoyed them (I did experience more edge blur than I expected). Unbeknowst to me, the 3rd generation was released, so I returned the Gen 2s and bought the Gen 3s. I am pumped I did. They are awesome. They have an amazing picture, great sound, really cool spatial work space (with the app), and best of all, they are 99% edge blur free. Plus, if you compare the technical stats to competitors, the RayNeo Air 3s is on par or better and generally at a much better price point. I am flying to Europe soon and am looking forward to having my pair of 3s on the flight for movies and work.I do recommend buying a glasses strap to hold the glasses in place. As with all glasses of this type, the cord can cause a lean in the connecting stem’s direction.

I am truly impressed with the 3s glasses. And since I’m far sighted, the clarity is great without the need for inserts. One caveat: While the glasses work with my iPad 11, they don’t with my iPhone 16e. RayNeo ‘s technicians checked for me and, after technical confirmation, iPhone 16e is not compatible with their Air series glasses as it doesn’t support DisplayPort (DP) output. But if you have the right device, these are a great buy at a great price.Addendum: I’ve been using the RayNeos for about one month. I am a big Disney fan and have been watching YouTube videos of Disney Park attractions and it almost feels like I’m back at the Parks. This is terrific!

Perfect for GamersI love the Rayneo Air 3s. I’m a gamer, and I’ve always wanted to play without needing a big TV or monitor. These glasses are perfect! The virtual screen is huge, like 201 inches. It’s amazing. I can game anywhere now, even in bed or on a trip. The picture is super clear, and the sound is great. It makes everything feel so real and exciting. If you want a cool gaming or movie experience, get these glasses.

These are my first AR glasses and I’ve been wanting a pair but price was too high. When these came out I purchased on day one because the specs sounded amazing! I have had them for two weeks now and they are exactly as advertised. I am not sure how others perform but these looks amazing my the screen is so huge and impressive makes you feel like you’re watching at movie theater. They are perfect on the road or on your lunch break when you want to relax. They are simple to use with only one cable that connects to your phone and they are so light as well. You will forget you have them on. I highly recommend Air 3. You will not regret your purchase

I’m enjoying these tremendously. I use them to replace my old tablet for consuming media while being able to move around and be comfortable wherever I end up using them. I use a direct connection to my Pixel 9xl pro and get excellent WIFI 7 internet connection and the image and sound are excellent. At this price, my 1st “wearable screen” is an excellent buy.

Fantastic product. I travel a lot so I use this on the road. The display is crisp and clear. The audio is loud and surprisingly more private than expected. My coworkers cannot hear whatever I have playing while sitting next to me in the truck. The glasses themselves are lightweight and comfortable, making it ideal for long usage. Rayneo really made an innovative product at a very reasonable price!

These XR glasses are wonderful! I purchased the RayNeo Air 3 to use with my Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. Being able to use these glasses while keeping my head level has been a ‘game changer’ to say the least. My neck pain is gone and I can comfortably use these for hours on end with no neck or eye strain. I also picked up the Joydock and combined with RayNeo Air 3 I can play for what seems like endless hours with it’s 10000mAh battery!

Absolutely love these RayNeo Air 3s! It’s like having a huge, private screen anywhere I go. Plugged them into my phone, and boom – instant big-screen viewer. The picture quality is surprisingly good – bright, sharp, and smooth (120Hz!). Controls are easy to use, right on the frames. They feel well-built, and the included case is nice. If you want a personal display for movies, gaming, or even just Browse on the go, these are fantastic. Great value! Here’s what really stands out: • Fantastic Visuals: The picture quality is surprisingly good – really bright, sharp, and the 120Hz option makes everything super smooth. • Plug-and-Play Simple: Just connect the USB-C cable to a compatible device, and it works instantly. • Convenient Onboard Controls: Easily adjust brightness, volume, etc., right on the frames without fiddling with the connected device. • Portable Private Screen: Great for enjoying content without disturbing others or needing a large physical monitor. • Solid Build & Nice Case: They feel well-made, and the included carrying case is a practical addition.

Image quality is the best over all other brands I own. It states 47 FOV, but it definitely appears larger; like 50 FOV. The colors are overly saturated, hopefully firmware will correct. Clearly, all production costs went into the image. Frames have a cheap hollow plastic feel. Expected with a sub $300 XR glasses? I guess as long as the image is great, which it is.

I really like this so far. I still have more testing to do, but great visuals at the price point. I’ve paired it with the PocketTV which definitely helps me get more out of it, as well as with the Steam Deck which worked pretty much right out of the box with minimal fuss. Customer support has been extremely responsive helpful as well.

Finally I got the Rayneo Air 3s which the price is reasonable. I always want to have the AR glasses so I can watch video and play games in my bed. The Rayneo Air 3s is very light. The sound quality is way better than my expectation.

I learned about RayNeo’s newly updated Air 3S a few weeks ago and was curious what they improved. I purchased the Air 2S about 6 months ago. At the time, I was impressed with the video quality of the OLED micro displays, but was less impressed with the narrow field of view which resulted in some fuzziness at the edges with one eye. Let me explain that. Because the screen is so big, one eye’s view is blurred at the edge, but the other eye is clear. So, initially, it can be very unnerving and can even cause headaches. This was a big enough problem initially that I had seriously thought I would be returning them. However, as my eyes got used to it, the blurred edges with one eye began to become less noticeable. It was still there, but I could see the whole screen edge-to-edge if I didn’t fixate on the fact that it wasn’t with both eyes at the same time. The little speakers in the arms work well enough most of the time, but there are some media platforms like HBO’s MAX that are significantly quieter and make the built-in speakers too quiet for me. However, Bluetooth ear buds work great with much higher volume.I’ve used the Air 2S on an airplane and they worked fine with noise-cancelling earbuds. The new updated Air 3S claims to have a bigger eye box, allowing a wider field of view. All of the other features seemed about the same as the Air 2S with a few more features to minimize eye fatigue. I decided to give the new upgraded Air 3s a try based on the bigger eye box. After receiving the Air 3S and trying them for the first time, I honestly didn’t feel that they were any different from the Air 2S. I then began to pay attention to the edges and discovered that while the eye box IS wider, it is not a significant difference. There is still some blurriness at the edges with one eye, but it is an improvement over the Air 2S. Everything else, the OLED micro display quality, speakers, etc, seem about the same. Sound volume is still on the low side, especially in noisier environments, but is irrelevant with bluetooth earbuds. After using them a few times over one day, I’m not convinced that they are worth an upgrade over the Air 2S. If you already have the Air 2S, I probably wouldn’t upgrade. If this is your first pair, the the Air 3S is worth a try. Initially, the blurred edges from one eye might drive you crazy, but if you let your eyes and brain adjust, you will begin to notice less and less. As for me, I’m still on the fence as to whether or not I plan to keep them. I need to use them for a few more days to see if the other features and slightly wider field of view are enough for me to keep them. One thing to remember is that if your eyes are set wider than mine, your field of view might be great and the fuzzy edges of one eye might not be the case. My inter-pupillary distance is fairly narrow. One other minor complaint. I LOVE the case for the Air 2S. It is large enough to hold the glasses and the Pocket Google TV, which if you don’t have, is a fantastic little device that compliments the glasses very well. The Air 3S case is nearly identical to the Air 2S case, but it is smaller and cannot hold the glasses and the Pocket Google TV. If you don’t have the Pocket Google TV, it might not be an issue. For me, the Air 3S as an upgrade over the Air 2S is really 3 out of 5 stars. As a standalone product, it is 4 out of 5 stars at this time. I will update this review as I use the Air3S more.

I’ve been using the this glasses for watching TV shows and movies in the evenings, and they’ve made such a difference! I don’t have to worry about disturbing my partner, thanks to the Whisper Mode 2.0, which keeps the sound directed only to me. The display quality is amazing, and the sound is perfectly balanced with great bass. It’s really comfortable to wear for extended periods, which is something I struggle with when using other similar products. Whether I’m lying in bed or sitting on the couch, they’re super easy to adjust, and they feel lightweight.

I just received my TCL RayNeo Air 3S glasses and they are a huge improvement over the previous RayNeo Air 2 AR glasses I had. ( I love my Air2 AR but the Air 3S is even better.) The visuals are sharper and more vibrant, and the 201″ virtual screen really enhances both work and entertainment. I especially love using them as a second screen for work—it’s been a game-changer for productivity on the go. The full-color micro-OLEDs deliver deep contrast and rich, lifelike colors that make movies, games, and even work tasks incredibly immersive. They’re lightweight, comfortable for long sessions, and super easy to connect to my devices. I am able to connect to my laptop & tablet with ease. Whether for entertainment or productivity, these RayNeo Air 3S glasses are a game-changer.The new design is thoughtfully upgraded too. The silver frame looks sleek and modern, the nose pad is softer and more comfortable, and the lens is noticeably less dark than the Air 2, allowing me to see clearly afar when not looking at the screen. They’re lightweight, comfortable for long sessions, and super easy to connect to my devices. The addition of a hard case is a fantastic upgrade from the previous cloth carrier—it keeps the glasses well protected. I also appreciate the included FAQ sheet, which answered all my initial questions. Overall, I’m very satisfied and highly recommend the Air 3S!

I cant tell the difference between the Air 2 S and these Air 3s besides a new button. The clarity is the same and the PC Software is still horrible. Both glasses are fantastic for watching videos and for allowing you to view content on your phone without staring down at it. Trying to use them as a PC monitor is doable but it is fatiguing as its tricky coordinating between the keyboard and mouse and glasses over a long period of time. One PC and phone use plus is that I personally dont need to use my prescription glasses when viewing content on either devices when wearing my Rayneos. Putting on my prescriptions made things unclear. Prescription maybe for those who have distance issues rather than for those of us that have near site issues. I got both for a little over $200 and I wouldnt pay more than this for any glasses in this space.

packaging! Was easy to open and was noassembly. Instructions were easy to readand very helpful. Worked with my s22phone with the supplied usb- c. Theoverall view inside the glasses was amazing. Screen size felt like my 10 inch tablet at 15 inches. Great value for the money! I would definitely purchase this product if you want to watch movies or use your electronics in your own personal theater!

First time using these, and all can say is the experience has been great so far, I can connect my steam deck, rog ally, and other handhelds I have lying around, everything is so crisp and the colors pop because of the oled, only gripe is sound quality but headphones do the job, 10/10 so far especially for the price

Overall I am really enjoying these glasses; they are the best bang for your buck for this type of display glasses available now. Getting a comfortable fit was easy thanks to the adjustments and the extra nose piece that were included.Tip: I’d suggest not peeling off the front cover. The glasses don’t have built-in dimming, so that cover really helps make the screen easier to see clearly, especially if you’re in a brighter area. When getting these I didn’t know exactly what to expect, as I do have a Quest 3. These are not like that; they are display glasses. Imagine a screen like a smaller movie theater screen floating right in front of you, but it stays locked to the movement of your head (it moves with you wherever you look). So, you’re generally looking towards the center and move your eyes to see the edges. These are not True XR like the Quest, they are just display glasses so they mirror what you see on the device its connected to.What they do offer, for the size and price, is impressive. The screen quality is really sharp and clear. Compared to other options I looked into, these feel like fantastic value; at $200, they are the best bang for your buck.My favorite way to use them is with my Samsung tablet in DeX mode. It gives me a big screen on the go without having to hunch over. I can sit comfortably, see the screen right in front of me, and still easily be aware of my surroundings. They’re a great choice if you want a solid, portable display you can wear anywhere.

Best Use Cases for Me and My Family:While on the treadmill at the gym: Watching movies becomes an immersive experience.Going for a walk early morning or late evening: Watching YouTube is enjoyable, and the clear peripheral vision ensures safety. Tilting my head slightly upwards allows me to see oncoming traffic naturally while still enjoying videos. For my 6-year-old: Watching YouTube on her iPad feels like being in a cinema, making it a delightful experience for her.Pros:Brightness and Crispness: The display is incredibly bright and crisp, providing an excellent viewing experience.Clear Image: Even the corners of the display are clear, enhancing the overall quality.Compatibility: Just connect the USB-C cable to a compatible device, and it works instantly. Works seamlessly with iPhone 16, iPad Air 4, Samsung Z Fold 6, and a Windows 11 PC.Physical Button Controls: Easily adjust brightness and volume right on the frames without fiddling with the connected device.Portable Private Screen: Great for enjoying content without disturbing others or needing a large physical monitor.Solid Build & Nice Case: They feel well-made, and the included carrying case is a practical addition.Lightweight and Comfortable: The glasses are easy to wear for extended periods without discomfort.Cons:Corner Image Fuzziness: There is a slight fuzziness in the image corners, but adjusting the glasses usually resolves this issue.Screen Size Adjustment: It would be great to have the option to adjust the projected screen size to be a bit smaller at times.Electrochromic Dimming: Adding this feature would improve usability in direct sunlight, as it currently reflects your own clothes while walking.

First of all, mad props to TCL / Shenzen Rayneo for making this thing. It takes guts to bring a product like this to market and I really appreciate that TCL took the initiative. I can only imagine how much they must have rushed to import and bring these to market with the tariffs kicked in. So much so that they did not put in the cleaning cloth the box states it includes.I was really excited to order these and watched YouTube reviewers raving about it. Giant high res screens right next to your eyeballs while watching content, playing games and one guy even said he was using it on an airplane with Adobe premier pro! I would happily pay $999 based on the adverts. So, what’s is like to watch a YouTube video set at Max resolution? It feels more like watching a movie in the back seat of a car through a foggy windshield at the Ford drive in theater in Dearborn, Michigan. Look it up.Why this specific example? Well, they have giant screens at that theater but they’re only 1080p and blurry and very far away. It’s open air so there’s a lot of visual disturbance and it doesn’t get really dark.Just like that theater the Rayneo air 3s are too blurry, not high res enough and the simulated giant screen is not close enough. No matter how I adjust these, the corners are chopped off. Right eye can’t see the right corners and left eye can’t see the left corners. There are internal reflections at the top edge. It’s too blurry to read any text. Even subtitles are a challenge. This is similar to what retinal detachment feels like.Wearing this for more than 20 minutes gives me a headache. Here, hold your phone sideways 8″ away from your face while cupping the edges with both your hands and squint hard as long as you can till you feel tension in your temples. How long do you want to do this? The 210″ simulated screen they boast about is a joke. My 24″ 1080p monitor at 2 ft occupies the same field of vision but I can see it clearly enough to read text and not get a headache using it hours and hours on end.Any productivity use? Nope. Modern phone and laptop screens already have better resolution. Text becomes readable on these with scaling set to 250% and a lot of zooming in but now it’s not practical to do anything else.Is there anything you can possibly use this for? Let me think. I suppose if you really really need to watch something really private with the sound off on public while not being able to do anything. So TCL/ Rayneo if you’re reading this: I’ll pay you $1999 maybe more for an iteration which are at least 2k resolution, fov like a 32″ 16:10 monitor 2 ft away, fine tuning for pupillary distance, no reflections, 120hz refresh rate and clear enough to read 6pt font like browsing your website at 100% zoom.Yeah, these are going back.

I didn’t expect to like this kind of glasses that much, I was curious and got them as the price seem right.I know these are considered entry level but I find amazing how much quality and how easy is to use them and adjust them to your face.I love the fact that there is no brick or box that I need to be carrying for the glasses to work, having the ability to just get them out of the case, connect them to my phone or steam deck and stream games and content with a big and bright display, without me having to look down to my devices is mind blowing. It’s a very simple and elegant design, I wouldn’t call them “normal”” glasses as they extend further away from your face, but they are by no means a huge VR headset that sits on your head.I’m excited to travel with these glasses, I travel a lot for work and I normally carry my steam deck, my Nintendo switch and my tablet as means to entertain myself, I feel the experience using them on a plane or at the hotel will be amazing!Overall super happy with them, people that have tried other glasses with more functions and way more expensive might be picky about them, but for me, price is right, the tech is amazing and they do what I need them to do, display a high resolution display in front of my face, without disturbing anybody around me and letting me enjoy and immerse on my shows or games.

This was my first foray into smart glasses, so I did my research beforehand and landed on the Rayneo Air 3s and I must say it was quite the little surprise. For the cost, I wasn’t expecting such a grandiose display, not to mention the sound quality! The weight of them makes them wearable for hours on end and the proprietary eyecare design makes it so you don’t end up in pain from the extended wear. it was functional right out of the box with my iPad Pro 5. One is the best sensations ever to watch movies curled up in a blanket in a dark room with the screen basically floating in front of you. I don’t know how they achieved it, but there’s no blurriness at the edges which I’ve read is a big concern point with this type of device. Overall, I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you to buy it now because you will not be disappointed. They even design an attachable “dock” for the Nintendo switch to play your video games on a 201” screen.

A couple things I found out after using mine for a few days1. If you read enough of reviews you may see other people mention this but there is no internal power battery on these glasses. Power is supplied directly through the USB cable. No charging etc.2. Android (samsung) users will need to turn off the auto Dex mode on USB C input. The app doesnt work in the XR mode within Dex. (at least as of 4/21/2025)3. Without the XR app the screen is a fixed monitor within your glasses. So if you move your head, the screen will stay fixed and move with you. This can be visually taxing on some people.4. With the XR app. There is a little interface that allows more forgiving screen movement and lets you move your head and the screen somewhat stays fixed. There are some additional apps you can install to work within this interface, as well as some games which I didnt realize. There is a slight delay when looking at extremes of the window. Kind of reminds me of when on a computer moving your mouse to the edge then the screen would travel showing additional space.5. The app is not on the google play store (as of 04/21/2025). You have to download the app from the web link or QR code from the manual and enable the phone to allow the installation etc. The one on the play store is titled AR instead of XR. For Rayneo 3 you need the XR version.6. I was unable to get a sweet spot for viewing. Mostly blurry edges at bottom. My head is weird and after trying multiple adjustements I can get the screen to mostly perfect. However, once i do get that sweet spot as soon as i move my head it moves out of that perfect view and is a little frustrating. Not a dealbreaker though.7. The temple adjustments can be tricky to move up or down. There is a very noticable click sound when you can get them move up or down. You will need to give some Umph to make them move. It may make you think these arnt supposed to adjust this way. Some people might like it, others may feel its too hard to adjust. I suggest using one hand to hold the glasses and pinch the middle for support while using other hand to adjust temple etc.8. Within the XR mode of the app, your phone becomes a controller very simliar to meta quest etc. The phone acts like a touch pad and provides a pointer to select items on the XR mode interface. The screen may drift from your point of view. If this happens on the phone you can tap a button your phone and it will “recenter” the screen where you are looking.9. One thing i will highlight is man, once you do get that screen in a good spot. Wow do they look great. Its pretty neat being able to see the larger screen size and have the privacy of being just for my eyes. It does feel like these glasses are better at media / games / movies as opposed to somehing you use like in an office or wanting to do “work”Overall for the price i think its worth it and im glad I have a pair. This is my first pair of glasses like this from any brand. I typically like to have new tech gadgets and gear. I likely wont return these but knowing what I know now i probably would have waited for the next version of these. One thing I may try to work on is adding a strap to the back of the glasses. I really need these pushed as close to my head. Trying the different nose settings and clips really doesnt help for some of the “fine tuning” when it comes to face adjustment.

I bought these after trying several other XR glasses. Note: this are just monitors and require another device to work – they are not smart glasses (that is not a bad thing, just clarifying to understand use cases). I have been traveling with these are the past few weeks and they are GREAT! I hated bringing a bigger screen device (like iPad) to watch movies because the airline seats do not have good options to hold them. That is where these glasses really shine, the screen is right in front of your eyes and no one else can watch or see what you are watching (privacy). The value: you get the experience of a movie screen viewing while wearing what look like sunglasses. Compared to some of the other brands, these were much more affordable (not calling them cheap, because they are a quality item). They come in a solid carrying case that keeps the glasses safe and holds the cable as well. How to use: Connect to any device with a USB-C (display port) output. I used my iPhone 15 Pro Max and they worked perfectly. Load a few movies on your phone, connect the glasses, and use some noise cancelling earbuds and you are teleported to a movie theater (while flying across the country). Connect to your SteamDeck and enjoy gaming on a HUGE screen. Are they perfect? No. But can you beat the value for your money? No! They do not have the auto-chromatic shading (which is a cool feature of the Viture Pro) so you need to get creative to block the light that comes through. But for the price, some sacrifices had to be made. The built in speakers are good for casual listening in mostly quiet places, but they will not work on airplanes which are too loud.Should you buy them? Yes, if you want to experience theater like viewing while traveling all in an easy to carry package. If you don’t want to pack a separate monitor for gaming on your portable device, these work great. Highly recommended!

Fantastic product. The glasses are light enough that you wouldn’t feel the weight on your head. I would say the screen is a little small and could have been maybe a tad bit bigger. If I wanna give you an idea of how large the screen is perceived, imagine sitting an arm’s length distance from a 27-inch screen (I wish it was 32).You wouldn’t understand how good these glasses are until you download HyperStudio from GitHub (no affiliation). Without that, the glasses are just a monitor fixed in front of your eyes. But with HyperStudio, you can configure multiple monitors and utilize the 6DoF of the glasses to move your head around and see multiple screens. The Rayneo’s own app is subpar, and I wouldn’t say it’s something I want to use. I have bought this to replace my multi-monitor setup when I go out of the city, and I want to work remotely and with additional software, it is quite capable of that

I am currently writing this review while wearing the glasses. It is my first experience with AR glasses and I am quite impressed. The glasses are plug and play with both my PC and my phone. The display is very sharp and bright, with very minimal blurriness around the edges. The glasses are lightweight and comfortable, with may adjustments to get ideal angle, and the speakers are quite clear. They feel well-built. My use case for these is productivity, especially while traveling, and I think they will be perfect for that, especially as there is room under the glasses to easily look down at a keyboard. The screen stays fixed (meaning no spatial awareness; the screen moves with your head) which I thought would be more annoying (coming from using a Quest 3), but is easy to adjust to. Overall great value, and can’t wait to put it to more testing.

I love these so much . They are excellent for people in home health care. I sit with my patient over night while they sleep and use these to watch videos and play games on my steam deck. The picture is excellent and the tech for the sound is amazing. You can hear crystal clear, yet someone just a foot away from you can’t hear what your listening to. I even use them when waiting in the lobby of a doctors office, all kind of transportation like a plane or a bus or even a passenger in a car .I can just express how good these are. Buy them, you won’t regret it!

These glasses are awesome! I just wrapped up a long 6 hour train ride in Amtrak. Perfect travel companion to immerse yourself in media.Whisper mode does work in a pinch, but having your own Bluetooth headphones increases the immersion.I like that peripheral vision is still maintained for safety reasons. I can’t wait for ultra long international flights with these. There is minor bleed as it is not 100% blacked out, but it is bright enough to overcome the slight transparency. It is my new personal movie theater when combined with my Pixel Buds. Highly recommend. Great value for price.

I mean wow. I just got these in and in the little time I have played with them, they have blown me away. I really purchased these for watching content on airplanes and at the airport, but wow! These things are amazing and not just for the price. The image is clear and crisp and the sound, I mean seriously? That sound is amazing and it is close to impossible to hear it even if you sit right next to the person wearing them. They worked right out the box on my S25 Ultra, Tab 10 Ultra and my HP laptop (more on this shortly)I like the look and feel, but like others I find that there is considerable glare when using it in very bright environments. They do not come with blockers, but if you are handy with google you will find folks that will 3d print them for a small cost. I will report back when mine arrive. On the laptop (PC) use, it is what it is. It allows you to see your screen in a large size, but at 1080p quality. So works great in a pinch, or when you want privacy on a flight or at the lounge, but I wouldn’t go to these for daily work.I will follow up with more when I connect it to my PS5, can’t wait to play F1 with these onOther than the glare in very bright environments, there is not much to NOT like with these. That said, just a reminder, these are just displays, like a monitor, nothing more, nothing less. But for my use case they are perfect! I am not interested at this time in the AR functionality that some other glasses have, mainly because I think people look like idiots when wearing them out on the streets haha.If you travel or commute or have a spouse that has a different sleeping pattern, these will be perfect for you. Go for it and enjoy!

Great product for a budget entry into AR but not having 3dof and better light blocking could make it better. 3dof allows for screen anchoring which works better for me for using it as a second monitor.

I recently got the RayNeo Air 3s and I’m really happy with my purchase! I was doubtful at first but the image quality is sharp and vibrant, and they’re super comfortable to wear even for longer sessions. The setup was quick and easy, and I love how lightweight they feel. They’re perfect for watching movies, and gaming especially on my Rog Ally, definitely get the hub though as it will drain it’s battery real fast, with a hub though playing with my rog is massively better and immersive. I do hope they make the next iteration with electrochromatic dimming, as the current need to have some sort of cover is annoying but it’s surprisingly bright enough for me to still see everything on screen, hence still having the 5 stars. Getting 3dof on the next iteration would also be a huge plus.

I bought these and I’m really happy with them. The screen is great and audio is good. I bought the viture pro and rokid max to compare them, but ultimately the screen and audio was better on the ray neo 3s. Of course, the 3s doesn’t have support for multiple screens, but that’s wasn’t what I was looking for. I noticed a dead pixel on my glasses and support was really helpful and sent me a replacement. Shout out to Kim in the support team. Only negative is that I wish the prescription lenses had a nicer attachment, but it gets the job done. Overall I just use it to play Nintendo switch (youll need a dongle or joystick), but I’m happy with it.

Just recieved them today. They are pretty impressive with good contrast. I have a really large head and they don’t feel overly small like some other brands. Out of the box I had some issues with blurry edges but when I removed the nose piece so it can sit lowerand added a small piece of foam to the nose for padding and that cleared it up alot.

Absolutely awesome. These hands down are the best value in xr glasses available. The picture quality is second to none. The setup is as easy as plugging in a cable on the glasses and the other end into whatever you want to see. They fit perfectly and I think they would work well for almost any face shape. If you’re thinking about these just go ahead and get them. You won’t regret it.

So after having these for almost two weeks I can honestly say that they go with me everywhere I go. I use them with my Legion Go handheld, iPhone and my work laptop and they are amazing. The virtual screen size of 201 inches and the color and clarity of the micro OLED makes it easy to read even small text on them. Also the 120hz screen makes for the perfect match for gaming on my Legion Go. Whether I am playing games, watching YouTube or Netflix the experience of having my own virtual theatre screen and sound from these glasses is really impressive. I can be sitting next to someone and activate the whisper mode for sound and they can’t hear anything while I hear it loud and clear. Truly cannot recommend the 3S glasses enough. Packaging was also great, they arrived in a box within a box and inside a protective carry case that is small enough to take anywhere easily. This product is easily one of the most recommendable pieces of tech I have ever owned. They are comfortable to wear with plenty of adjustments you can make to suit your eyes and best of all they look very stylish and thin, and outside of the cable you can barely tell that they aren’t regular sunglasses. One last thing while I missed the initial special launch price of these glasses the regular price is still a great value. I could not be happier and for those of you on the fence about purchasing these…just buy them I don’t think you could find a better set especially for the great price!

I have been using this for almost a month now, and this has been one of the best accessories I’ve bought for my Legion Go. The image quality is one of the best out of the more famous current AR/XR glasses right now. The 201″ advertised screen is highly dependent on where you’re looking at relative to the screen, but it is still quite large. At around the average American ceiling height of 8 feet, the screen size is about 100inches, and to get the 201″ you need to be 16 feet away give or take. I’ve tried my best to show a video of what you’ll see when you have them on, but only showing one side of the glasses doesn’t really do it justice. With that said, the colors are very vivid, the 120Hz refresh rate is great, and the 20 points of brightness is a god-send to adjust depending of where you’re using them.To put it out there, this isn’t a monitor replacement for spreadsheets/work as focusing on small letters to read can strain your eyes. This isn’t just a Air 3S problem but just an AR/XR glasses problem as a whole since the technology isn’t there yet. What it is for is being immersed in games and movies where you can relax on a couch, bed, plane, car, etc. The audio is great and whisper mode is a neat feature, but realistically you’d pretty much have to turn the volume down pretty low so the person next to you actually can’t hear you. Even at low settings, you’re still able to hear the dialogue of whatever you’re watching. The main selling point really is the price point at $269 considering other alternatives starts at around $400+ for their current models. Of course at that price point, some features are skipped like 3DoF where you can pin windows in space, IPD adjustment, adjustments for myopia, or some sort of dimming option. The main demerit that can be annoying is that some surfaces are too shiny and can reflect light back towards your eyes which can be dizzying if you’re using it outside or very bright areas. Other people have been putting black foam on the inner side of the glasses to reduce the glare. All in all, these are a great starting point for anyone curious about getting into the AR/XR glasses for the money. If you do buy them, do take some time getting adjusted to using AR/XR glasses. AR/XR glasses aren’t for everyone and aren’t a one size fits all kind of deal. So if this is your first time, there tends to be an adjustment period where you’ll sometimes get eye strain, headaches, or dizziness. Take your time and take it slow.

This is a great product for anyone looking to watch movies and shows on 200 inch screen with phenomenal color. It is not a VR or AR system in the same sense as the Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest VR headsets that have video pass through, hand tracking, powerful on-board CPUs and GPUs. Those systems are also much larger and heavier, and aren’t the most comfortable thing to wear for multi-hour gaming binges. The RayNeo Air 3s by contrast is a light weight head mounted display with outstanding wide-gamut color and picture quality, 120Hz refresh rate ideal for movies and games, 3D content. The resolution, color accuracy and relatively low distortion around the edges of the screen make it a reasonable alternative to a monitor. Enough precision in the controls to use Adobe Creative Suite and get actual work done. Perfect for travel.

The media looks great (especially when used in a datk room)! My only gripe is they forbid the ability to use bluetooth earbuds. You can’t hear film dialog while viewing in a lunchroom with talking people. I hope Rayneo updates the software to allow earbuds. I also hope they release a black lens cover.

I was amazed that I got these earlier than expected. 1st they would not turn on when plugged in to my phone or computer’s (3). I bought a Ray Neo charging adapter and set it up on the PC, it had a screen show up saying low power, then I put a USB C power cable to the power outlet, walla it turned on and I was able to use them on my phone and PC’s. Not all phones have video out on their phones even if you have a C outlet. Yes I have played a video game The Division 2 on them, not VR but I was relaxed.

It’s my first time trying out these AR glasses, and boy I like these a lot. The visuals are pretty sharp and I can just connect my iPad to these glasses and watch movies whenever I want and it gets pretty immersive. It’s not heavy at all and it is comfy enough for long sessions. I haven’t tried connecting it to my laptop, but I will do trying it out very soon.

Firstly make sure you check the compatibility list before buying this product. 4 stars are because of the shipping delays. It’s lightweight and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Technology hasn’t advanced to wireless hdmi transmission in this manner. Otherwise this would be a 5 star rating

If you are looking for a nice quality “wearable screen” with good sound quality, you can’t beat the price. Out of the box the supplied USB cords are junk, the glasses would be recognized by the device, but no display, and glitchy function, replaced with good quality 8K TB4 capable cables, these work flawlessly. Don’t expect VR/AR level function, and the 3D display option is finicky to get to work right, there are much better VR glasses out there but you’re paying for the functionality. If you just want a good quality “private” big screen with clear audio, for the price you can’t do much better, just make sure to order an upgraded USB cable when you order these glasses.Update: seller has reached out and has made steps to improve my overall experience with the purchase, they have been responsive and easy to work with. It sounds like there are potential product improvements on the drawing board, and I’m interested to see the evolution of the product in future iterations.

This is my favorite way to watch TV, Movies and play games. My 3s glasses arrived quickly and at a super price. The quality is amazing. I can barely tell I’m wearing them because they are so light and only appear like sunglasses to others. I am very happy with my purchase! They come with a nicely portable protective case also. Adjustable to many sizes. I can watch 3d movies as well perfectly. They will attach to many sources! Impressed!

Very satisfied. Affordable and of excellent quality for the price, comparable to or better than other more expensive options.Perfect for a handheld console, the 1080p 120Hz meets the expectations of a portable virtual display, from a Steam Deck to a Rog Ally X. The eye protection mode is good; even for two hours of use, it doesn’t cause discomfort. An important detail: very good built-in audio quality.

Very impressive! Picture is crisp and very immersive (especially with earbuds). I also ordered the prescription lens inserts and they work flawlessly. The only minor issue is the bottom of the screen can be a little blurry depending on how the glasses are positioned. Adjusting the fit corrects this. Looking forward to using them when traveling.

I have sent back.. nearly every pair of glasses released like this. EVERYTHING but the original Nreal (Xreal) Air 1’s. I’ve owned 2 of them, use them for everything (don’t own a monitor) because they are the only “sharp across the entire screen” glasses that exist, but sadly, the build quality on the Xreal’s is garbage. While I can’t speak to the long-term build quality, I can speak to the sharpness: These glasses are DEAD SHARP (to the pixel) across the entire screen. Every. FReaking. Pixel. is DEAD. SHARP. Sadly, they pushed the FOV and you get to pick if you like to see the top or the bottom .. but I can live with that. GREAT GLASSES! FINALLY a replacement to the Air 1’s. And the speakers are really, really, really REALLY good. Very clear.

I 10/10 would recommend these XR Glasses. I was trying to find a pair with a sharp image quality. Problem is, I kept running into a similar problem with competitor brands, where the bezels of the projected image would be blurry. These glasses’ image was what I was looking for: A high resolution image with clear bezels as well as vibrant colors. The head clamping force was just right, not too tight nor too loose, and the speakers sound great while staying private. I was watching a movie while my partner was an asleep and she couldn’t hear a thing!

These are awesome and really easy to use. They are plug and play; I took these out of the box, connected them to my iphone using the provided usb-c cable and the screen automatically projected on the glasses. They are light weight, the picture is big and bright. Speakers are decent for casual video watching, but I would recommend using airpods or other wireless earphones for a more immersive sound experience in Movies or Shows. I will still give these 5 stars because its amazing value.

You can’t buy the hdmi dock without the bundle so if you need it, buy the bundle. The other docks are only 5v 1a and these require 1.5a I have not tested if they work with the lower power but then again I don’t need hdmi for my use case. Just keep that in mind. I’m sure they will have one in the future but not right now. These work great. If you need a full sized monitor on the go, these will do well. The only downsides are that they are a bit blurry around the corners of the screen but it’s still usable. Same with text, especially on black backgrounds with white text it can look pretty blurry but again it’s usable. I don’t think I would use these for office work, my eyes would hurt staring at the blurry letters. As for media, you can’t really notice the blur, which is the main use of these. I could watch media for hours easily with these. Another problem is the top and bottom of the screen can get cut off unless they are perfectly aligned. So if the glasses shift up or down on your face, you will lose a part of the display. I wish they would have just made the display slightly smaller to add more wiggle room. And lastly, the lenses are oddly hard to clean. I had to wipe it with a glasses cleaning cloth for a while before it removed the residue. All in all, if you need a portable monitor for media/gaming, I don’t think you will find a better value. It replicates the same size screen as my 27″ desk monitor when I’m sitting at my desk which is all I really wanted out of these and it does the job.Update: After trying the Viture Pro. The Rayneo air 3s definitely have a massive advantage in sound quality. If you want a pair of glasses to watch media with get the rayneo hands down. But for gaming/office work the Viture Pro has a slight advantage to image clarity especially around the borders but it’s not that much. Both glasses have this blurriness around text but the Viture is slightly better but still not as usable as I’d like.

I like mine for all the kudos other reviewers have given re: image quality, resolution, weight, etc. My main pet peeve is the very low audio volume when trying to enjoy them on a flight. Very deceptive as they showed in their ad image with the traveler all smug and enjoying whatever they are watching. I used mine last night in flight and could barely hear anything from the movie. The remedy was for me to cup my hands over my ears and that solved it. I’m thinking I’ll have to bring earmuffs now??? Volume was maxed, whisper mode OFF. Using the Rayneo Air 3s at home, or anywhere without 2 jet engines, works great though.

Love them.. very comfortable. I purchased these as a replacement for my Nreal Air glasses. I wore them daily they were too tight and squeezed my head and ultimately broke. The RayNeo glasses are very comfortable and flex at the temples they even seem a little lighter than the Nreal glasses. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is the first time I’ve tried any AR-ish type of product. These are amazing once you get them hooked up and the frame adjusted properly to your face.Pros:1) The picture is crisp and contrast is near perfect since these have Sony micro-OLED panels in them. Color reproduction is vibrant, yet not excessively saturated. Brightness was adequate. Motion handling is smooth since these have 120 hz refresh capability. I personally had no issue at all with the resolution of the screen (I’m typically picky about this with any screen).2) When optimally positioned, I was able to see all four corners of the display. The corners/edges were not blurry either. Although, if the glasses aren’t positioned well, it is easy to have the corners be cut off ever so slightly. It really didn’t impact the viewing experience nearly as much as I thought it might. Be aware that these don’t have IPD adjustment, so they might not work for everyone’s eyes. For my eyes, they worked fine.3) The frame feels neither cheap, nor ultra premium. I actually think Rayneo struck a nice balance between cost and build quality here. To me they feel great.4) The audio seems decent. Although, if you want audio privacy you’ll still want to use earbuds. The audio was fine, but if you take them off with sound still playing, the audio definitely leaks out into the room.5) No additional battery to charge because these run off the power of whatever they are plugged into.Cons:1) The right side of the glasses can get very warm to the touch just having them plugged into anything. I’m assuming this is normal behavior, but I feel it should run a bit cooler. So far it hasn’t gotten hot enough to feel like something is wrong, or for it to be a deal breaker.2) The reflections and refractions are genuinely the worst part of this product. I’m going to have to figure how to minimize these (other than being in a totally dark room). Even in a moderately lit room, it somewhat detracts from the overall experience. I doubt I’d be able to use these at all outside or in a well lit room with lots of sun coming through. I believe this happens because the main display lenses are slanted downwards at a decent angle. They catch light reflections easily. The layering between the front lenses and the actual display lenses might also be causing some additional light refractions. I’m not sure if this can be fixed in the next version, or if the lenses have to be positioned this way to make the screen work? This was almost a deal breaker. If Rayneo added Electrochromic dimming, it might at least help with refractions.3) I’m still finding it a bit awkward to navigate around the screen interface and type things out when I’m searching. There’s a bit of a disconnected feeling between looking into the glasses and trying to type at the same time on an actual keyboard or phone screen. But I wouldn’t say it’s difficult. I’m guessing that it’s something I’ll get used to over time. And if you are mostly just watching movies or tv shows it shouldn’t be too bad.Overall, I think these are a solid pair of display glasses. This isn’t the type of AR/VR product with 3 Dof/spatial tracking. It also doesn’t have electrochromic dimming. It is very much just a projected screen in the lenses that’s made to look like viewing a 200 inch screen at approximately 18 feet away. These work great as an external display for viewing movies or playing games as long as you set your expectations properly and aren’t in a brightly lit room. If you’re looking for something more immersive, I’d look at products with at least 3 Dof. Or even a VR headset. So far I’m satisfied with them and will be keeping. Hopefully in future versions Rayneo will be able to address some of the negatives I mentioned.

Purchased the new Rayneo AIR 3s XR glasses. My first step into XR glasses. I have to say that the video quality is pretty good, and sound is great. Overall, the image is bright and clear. Great to watch videos on. It is somewhat difficult to use your phone while the glasses are plugged in but that is not what I bought them for so no detraction for that. Plugged into the laptop or desktop and using the mouse is much easier than the navigating on the phone. Overall, they are excellent for what I purchased them, and I highly recommend if you want a large screen to watch lying in bed or on an airplane. I travel often so these are just the thing I was looking for.

I was skeptical this glasses would be as good as VR headsets for immersion during entertainment sessions, but I was wrong. I already have the Meta Quest 3 that I use mostly to watch movies and play native games. While these RayNeo glasses did not completely block out light from the sides, it actually comes closer to the actual experience of watching a bigscreen TV from your couch. The screen is quite bright and came into sharp focus as soon as I got prescription lens insert for my myopia. This completely changed how I watch Netflix on my phone and gaming on my Steam Deck.

I recently purchased the RayNeo Air 3S glasses and was extremely impressed with how amazing the size and clarity of the screen was. The field of view was like a giant screen right in front of my eyes, and the sound was clear and immersive. You even have the ability to switch the sound to “Whisper Mode” so those near you aren’t disturbed. The glasses are also very lightweight and have temple and nosepad adjustments which make them super comfortable to wear for long periods of viewing. For me they are the perfect glasses for private viewing on the go and for the price you will not find anything comparable with this high-quality visuals, sound and comfort. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

Before you buy, please understand these glasses will not be for everyone. The manufacturer doesn’t care about accommodating all heads, eyes and faces. It’s really as simple as “either these will fit you or they won’t”. If they don’t fit you, no amount of adjusting or wishing will get these to work for you!If you have myopia(you can’t see far very well) don’t bother, unless you are willing to shell out around $75-85 for prescription lenses and wait around a MONTH for them to be delivered. So, remember, the glasses don’t cost what you paid. They cost what you paid, PLUS, eighty-five dollars and a month of waiting. The manufacturer lies when they say these display a virtual screen which is as large as your TV. It’s not. It’s around the size of a 27″ monitor which is right in front of you.Quick lifehack: For me none of the nose inserts would work, and no amount of stretching or adjusting would work either, until I removed the rubber nosepads. It’s the only way to eliminate most of the horrible streaking and not being able to see one of the corners. Is it still a cool, useful product? Yes. But only IF it will fit you. And no, it’s not worth anywhere near what you paid for it, considering its downsides.

The glasses have a good screen and view, however to do many of the things that are advertised you can do with them, you will need 100s of dollars in adapters. If you simply want to put into your phone or directly to a steam deck, you are good, if you want to use a switch or hook up to an hdmi port, you specific adapters that allow them to be powered. It’s complex and rather expensive to pull off. Also note I’m fairly sure the glasses will not work with any cord, except the one made by the company, so take care of that cord, it will he expensive to replace I bet.

If you are buying smart glasses, it is important to know what you are looking for, and what you are getting. These are basically just a computer monitor with sound. They take a little moving around to not see double. The screen is nice, however there is a little blurring in the bottom corner. I can read the chat box in video games with them. The sound is good. It takes some getting used.If you are looking for AR functionality, you will want glasses with a built in camera. These are not that.If you are looking for VR functions, you will want something that tracks head movement.I don’t believe any of the glasses on the market right now are the futuristic integration of technology and the real world that they are kind of presented to be. The necessary equipment would be bulky and uncomfortable at this point . So, if you are looking for a nice portable screen at a good price, these are a great choice.

At first I thought they were just ok but after adjusting them just right they are perfect! I have the Oculus 3 and I had to realize that these have their own place… Sometimes I dont want all the bells and whistles of the Oculus and just want a nice viewing screen… Screen is bright, large enough (which changes based on device you are connected to), sound is good and the weight is light but not too light… Very good purchase!

Good: it does provide a full screen view and decent sound.Bad: made for slim noses, drains phone battery. I have a wide bridge, which pushes the glasses up enough that I can’t see the bottom of the viewing area. I made the nose bridge as large as possible and tilted the screen the max amount, no luck. I had to push the glassesdown my nose for viewing which causes some distortion and pinches my nostrils. The phone screen stays on while watching the glasses, and powers the glasses if they aren’t charged. This results in a rapid phone battery drain.

It’s very well made, and the picture quality is unquestionable! At first, I was a little sceptical about these types of glasses; I wasn’t sure if they could deliver a cinema-like experience. It’s surprisingly good! Although the built-in speakers are not bad, I’d suggest using headphones. Some people complain that buttons don’t work — I’ve discovered that the functionality of the buttons depends on whether you’re in the dedicated app or not. These are my first glasses and I’m satisfied with them.

I’ve been using at night while in bed winding down for streaming and gaming. The display pops with color and brightness and the sound is loud and clear. I find myself passing them over to my wife to so that she can see what I’m seeing because I’m so amazed, lol.Great job Rayneo on an awesome product at a customer friendly price.

These AR glasses are incredible for the price and the display is amazing. For a starter just getting into AR glasses, I was extremely satisfied with how portable and easy to use they are. They work with both my phone and steam deck.

Pretty much like everyone else said. Great color accuracy as expected from oled. Good clear crisp picture for 1080p. Up close scenes look great, when camera pans further you can tell its 1080p. Text looks clear and crisp.Sound is OK. Yes it’s impressive for tiny speakers hidden into frames, but it’s not movie theater sound that will blow you away. Some shows are too quiet. Earbuds recommended.I’m not understanding how they are advertising this as a 201″ screen. Kinda like what others said, you can get the same effect holding your tablet up to your face. Only benefit with the glasses is you dont get fatigued holding something. Would say it’s more like a 32″ screen. Not getting movie theater size at all. Watching movies, I can see edge to edge clearly. When using phone to browse Facebook or something I can’t get the bottom into full view no matter the adjustment.I have not used the app yet, so I cannot comment if it improves the size of the screen or not. If I find the app improves size, I will update my review.3/5 stars. I use a fold 6, so my screen is big enough for movie watching while traveling. If I can figure out a way to get the advertised 201″ screen, then I would update them to 5/5. Using the quest 3 for movies for example, you get the movie theater size. This is definitely a smaller screen on the rayneos, although sharper than the quest 3.Also make sure your phone is fully charged. It took 30% battery to watch a 45 minute show. And that was with my phone screen brightness down as low as it could go.Not sure if i will keep. Seems kinda of expensive to mimic the same size screen I already have on my phone. Right now the only justification to keep them would be i dont want to hold my phone up , or have my neck cranked down for hours to watch a movie. With the glasses, I can sit back and relax and keep my neck in a more comfortable position. Worth $270 for that? Not sure yet

THE Best AR glasses out there. I kept the black cover on the shades to block sun and light for viewing but you can takeoff it’s a preference. I highly recommend you can use it with iPhone 16 very easily just plugs in. Also I got the Picket tv too with it, and that is a game changer as you can get a variety of streaming apps like Prime, paramount and shahid. It’s like an Apple TV and movie theater in your pocket. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

First of all, these glasses aren’t for everyone. What’s failed to mention in majority of the reviews is that these glasses ONLY work with certain phones and tablets. I didn’t find any of this information out until after my purchase. If you have an iPhone 14 or newer or a Samsung Galaxy or Note, then everything is ok. Your phone must support Display out using the USB-C port. My Moto Razr 2024 does not do that as they stopped that option with the Moto Razr 2022 model. Connectivity issues aside, the fit is a bit weird for me as well. The nose piece doesn’t feel right and the viewable screen becomes impacted as the corners and edges become less viewable. There’s an extra nose piece that comes in the package but I didn’t bother testing the fitment. The glasses are powered by the phone or tablet so there’s no battery to keep charged. I tested my pair out on a Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra and basically what they become is a second screen. The sound quality isn’t that bad. But I was also in my car with very minimal noise around me. The idea of these are great which is why I can’t say this is a one star product but there are those connectivity issues that were not addressed before my purchase that still bother me. That’s why I can’t give them a higher rating. For those with connectivity issues I’d guess buying the pocket TV for the extra $129 would solve all those issues, unless you use Netflix which isn’t supported. I also didn’t feel like I was sitting in front of a 200 inch screen as well. Not sure where those comparisons came from but….All in all, in my opinion, it’s not worth the money for what I believe is an overhyped product if you follow and read all the reviews. As for my pair, they will be returned as I can find other things to do with those funds.
