I’ve been wanting a cordless, small-frame vacuum for years. I’ve had a rather bulky, regular vacuum for awhile, but my house doesn’t have a lot of space to maneuver in. So, we saved up and got this guy. I’ll be honest, I didn’t follow the directions. I took it out of the box and immediately wanted to see if it could handle my house full of cat and rabbit hair. Well, I looked at the handle and it said to charge it fully before first use… After I had used it for 20 minutes. It wasn’t really picking anything up after a bit. The container was full, so I emptied it, but it still wouldn’t pick anything up. I let it charge, thinking that’s all it was, but then after several hours, it still wasn’t picking up. I thought, “great, I broke it after 20 minutes!” Nope, I just didn’t follow the directions. You have to pick a language on the handle screen first, and then it’ll let you change the power setting. I realized that I had clogged it with all the hair and shredded rope toys keeping it on the middle strength setting, so I spent a while trying to pull it all out. After I found out about the power settings, though, I cranked it up to max (it only has 3 settings) and WOW what a difference!! It picks up absolutely everything.I know some reviews talk about how bad it is that it has a pull trigger to turn it on instead of a switch, but this is actually a plus for me. My house has a bunch of cords and such all over the floor around the TV and my computer. Being able to just release the handle and move them, or release the handle when it starts to suck up something it shouldn’t, is absolutely wonderful. Thankfully, it doesn’t really try to eat cords. What it does suck up doesn’t get wrapped around the roller, either. It’s still sparkling clean despite all the hair, fuzzies, and pieces of rope toys I picked up with it. This is awesome, because with a traditional vacuum, I would spend quite a bit of time just cutting the hair off the roller. All around, this is my new favorite household appliance. I actually enjoy sweeping with this thing! I used to have to sweep my faux hardwoods with a broom, which… Well, brooms really don’t get the small stuff up. My house has never been cleaner! It still feels clean a week later. There are some places I still need to go through with the smaller hose attachments, like between cabinets, but overall just the regular sweeper head does a bang-up job! Highly recommend.

I debated between the Cordless Dyson V8 and the Cordless V11. I’m very happy with the V11… it has more suction power (60%), a larger capacity to hold dirt (but not too large), easier to empty dirt than the V8, and you can see how much battery time you have left as you are using it.Additionally, I wanted something light especially for all of my stairs in my 3 story townhouse. So I debated between the V8 and V11. The V11 is only 1 lb heavier, so I went with it. Still light enough for my stairs and for my 2 cats. Plus the main end is smaller like the V8 so it easily fits under furniture and in tighter spaces. In my opinion, it is the perfect cordless Dyson… without having to spend a fortune (especially when buying it on sale). One word of caution… as one other reviewer also mentioned and I totally agree, USE YOUR OWN STRONGER ANCHORS to mount on wall. The anchors it comes with are weak. I had to replace theirs. You want it to fit snugly. This is important as you lift your V11 in and out.

The Dyson V11 requires that you hold down the power button to continually use the vacuum, something I was not aware of when I made the purchase. So be prepared to hold down the power button when you are continually vacuuming. When you release the button the machine stops. Truthfully this hurts my hand to hold down the power button, gripping the handle, and guiding the vacuum. The V11 and all models below the V11 model have this feature. To have continuous on function you must purchase the V12 and above. I I did not see that the power button must be continually held down to power the machine or I would not have purchased this model. Not sure if I want to return it because the V12 and above models are too costly for me. Otherwise I love the vacuum.

UPDATE: Dyson customer service was fairly easy to use and a replacement battery was shipped to me at no cost & arrived in about three days. Since then, I have used this vacuum, and I do like it a lot. It works extremely well, it’s lightweight and it’s easy to use. Emptying the canister is kind of inconvenient only because you have to take the bottom part off of the vacuum to do so, but overall I don’t have any complaints about using this product. I still think for the price point, it’s a little bit frustrating that I wasn’t able to take it out of the box and start using it immediately, so for that reason I’m only giving three stars. Other than that no complaints.Unboxed this vacuum and went to fully charge it as the instructions said; it is not charging and after going through trouble shooting, I need a new battery. TBD on whether dyson considers this vacuum purchased three days ago to be “under warranty” or not… will update review after this is sorted out, but already off to a poor start.

Great machine! I was hesitant to spend this much such did get an amazing deal during Prime Day. Bought this due to my Shark corded vac starting to get overheated while using for just a few minutes. Easy assembly. Wall mount was a bit trickier but made it work in a bout 10 minutes. I do agree with the other reviews about the included wall anchors…. they are awful!!! I tried them out and while they “worked” they did allow the top of the mount to lean forward from the wall when the vacuum was charging due to the weight. Get a set of high quality mounts from NiceShine that are advertised for a nice high weight limit like 75 or 80lbs. That’s what I did, swapped them out and the wall mount stays flush to wall whether charging or not. Vac feels great in the hand, easy to use, great suction, and for the amount of force it has is relatively quiet!

For the price, you would expect a light on the cleaner head. Even the cheapies have a light. I will have to install my own. The cleaner head is a good design and I expect it to hold up. Battery charge takes longer than expected, but unit runs longer than any other I have owned.
Bibbit –
I’ve used it a few times. I really like it. It picks up much better than my regular vacuum cleaner and much easier to use and lighter to carry around. My only problem is that the battery doesn’t last long enough and it takes 90 minutes to fully re charge. I have had to re-figure how to clean. I will vacuum a couple of rooms and plug it in to re-charge while doing something else. It’s okay…just a matter of getting used to doing things differently.

I did a quick search on NiceShine for a replacement vacuum with really no intention of splurging. It happened to be prime days. Well, somehow I ended up convincing myself it was okay to go for this one. Part of that was driven by the fact that I was needing to vacuum every single day because… toddlers!!!We live on a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere where. We don’t have concrete or lawns. There’s a lot of dirt and dust. Between that, kids, 5 dogs, boots, etc. there’s a lot of stuff to vacuum up. I’m very busy and this has made daily vacuuming so easy. I never would have vacuumed daily with my regular cord vacuum. Now, I vacuum daily and it’s really easy and quick not having to deal with a cord. The suction is by far better than my old vacuum. I had just vacuumed when I bought this and I used it again and wow did I pick up a lot. I was surprised. And disgusted. It’s light weight. I can’t exactly compare to other stick vacuums, sorry, but in my opinion it’s light weight.Easy to maneuver.Attachments are changed easily.Battery life is good. I like that it has like a count down timer on the little screen.Easy to dump the little bucket.Transitions from tile to carpet easily and works good on both. You have to hold down the trigger the whole time. At first I thought that was weird but it probably helps with battery.I know it’s expensive but if you can get a deal, I’d highly recommend!!

So this vacuum works really well And it’s super easy to keep clean. However, I really wish there was some way to lock the button. I vacuum my whole house my trigger finger is hurting. It would be nice if it came with the light so you could see the dust your vacuuming up
Bold&Brash –
UPDATE: so my spouse used this after cutting their hair and the vacuum could not handle it for some reason and the hair got stuck. I started feeling warmth or warm air while using it and realized it wasn’t sucking as good. Then I saw the stuck hair….youd think a vacuum this expensive could handle some hair…. Updated from 5 stars to 4This is a very beautiful dyson vacuum. We needed an upgrade from our older model. It still doesn’t last as long as I would like it to, but still gets the job done. I needed this for upstairs because our older model definitely couldn’t handle all three floors of our home. This came with a variety of attachments which are very useful especially the long pointed one for our stairs because lots of crumbs get in the little sides. It does have a bigger container for the dirt so that’s really nice. It’s also just as loud as our other dyson, so not much help there in terms of noise level. It’s tolerable though. It’s not like those other vacuums where you REALLY have to yell to hear someone else who is talking to you while vacuuming. I’m also not so bothered about having to hold the trigger while vacuuming because I guess I’m used to it? I mean its not that hard really…I guess it would be nice to not have to do that, but I wouldn’t complain about it either way. I love dyson vacuums because my older one has been with us for years now. Like I said, the only thing that isn’t good about dysons is the battery life, but the suction and power..is wow…like you can seriously see the little dust particles that you wouldn’t have even known was there…

Great vacuum. I got this Dyson vacuum because it was on a good sale, and was ready to upgrade from my old Shark vacuum that I have had for around 6 years. I had thought about a Dyson in the past, but they are sooo expensive – however, I now see why they are so much more expensive. My Shark vacuum is of course older, but it runs well still – or so I thought. I just ran my Dyson on my bedroom carpet, and sadly it quickly filled the small tank, I emptied it and ran it again, and it quickly filled the tank again… I know my Sharks tank is probably 4–6 times larger… But I shouldn’t have THAT much dust and dirt getting pulled from my carpet. My only complaint about this vacuum is that it doesn’t have an off / on switch. You have to manually press the trigger to run the vacuum. I hate this design flaw. I ordered a button thing to make it an on / off switch instead of a manual trigger. It is a bit odd to use because it is top-heavy, which I am not used to – but it is still very light and comfortable to use – other than the manual trigger.Only my bedrooms of the house are carpeted, the rest of the floor is wood / tile. I was able to vacuum 2 living rooms, the kitchen, the hallway (on medium) and then my bedroom twice (on boost) before running low on battery. I still had 5 mins of “boost” level left, and could have done my bedroom a couple more runs, but I was too depressed knowing that I would probably have to empty the canister another 2-4 more times from my bedroom carpet. That sounds like a problem for tomorrow me.My dog enjoyed fighting / pouncing the vacuum. The cats are not pleased.

Fairly powerful upright vacuum. Wish I did not have to hold the handle in place all the time -makes it difficult to switch hands. Have only used the floor process. I know holding vacuum up to clean blinds or curtains will be almost impossible for a tiny 82 year old to manage.Manual costs almost $15- what a bummer! Using App to get warranty and instructions is encouraged. Two stars only for NiceShine- barely out of box before reduced by $50. I got sucked into a pre-black Friday deal and feel rather poor and foolish.Packaging and delivery were fine.

i do a lot of pet sitting and one of my clients with a long haired cat has this vacuum. i was overjoyed to vacuum their house every time i was there! it picked up the very long cat hair and litter like no one’s business. finally, i got it on sale and i’m such a proud owner now. i love how small it is and how quick it is to get around. the ball joint at the head is so cool and it turns on a dime. the brush head has a self cleaning function that doesn’t leave a single long hair in the brush! the suction sometimes seems great and sometimes seems like it needs some help. maybe i just need to clean the filter more. the vacuum body is also very very easy to clean. the canister empties easily and the whole thing comes off with a simple button push. you can rinse the canister out in the sink and wipe the rest of the vacuum with a damp cloth and it looks like new! maybe i’m just a domestic cow, but this is definitely the best vaccine i’ve ever owned. it’s far better than the miele. it’s been picking up so much dirt from our carpets, i don’t think our old miele ever really vacuumed the house in the 5 years before we owned the dyson

Great suction. Easy to use and clean. A bit more top heavy than I was expecting. Good value.

Our old Rocket vacuum needed replacing after 8 years, so I jumped on the holiday sale on the Dyson V11. I’ve used it for a couple weeks now, and I HAVE NOTES.• The important bit: It sucks. The vacuum’s suction is very good. Especially compared to my old Rocket. (I cleaned and maintained the filters on the old vacuum, but it could not provide the suction the V11 does.)•Packaging: Oh my god, so much packaging! It’s a Russian nesting doll of packaging. The vacuum itself is inside a box which is inside another box which is inside a shipping box. But wait… inside that last box? More boxes! Every single piece and attachment is packed inside its own box or nestles in an intricate support structure of cardboard. I mean, the pieces surely aren’t going to get damaged, but …so much packaging.• The Battery: Good new and bad news. It’s convenient to not have to stop to plug the old corded Rocket into a different outlet 4-5 times during vacuuming. The charging stand the V11 comes with makes it easy to recharge (if you can locate the stand near an outlet for the charging cord). HOWEVER, you get about 25 minutes of vacuuming time (at the recommended, medium power setting) on a full charge. For a four bedroom family home, that is not going to be enough! I’d rather have to move a cord and get it done all in one go. Recharge time is a couple hours.• The “Motorbar cleaning head” (the brush roller), designed to not get tangled with hair and string, works like a charm. I normally vacuum up a lot of long hair and dental floss, but not a strand stuck in the V11’s roller.• The handle: The design of the handle is unexpectedly not ergonomical. Being aligned at 90 degrees to the shaft makes the V11 more difficult to push *forward* as your hand is naturally pushing more towards the floor. More importantly, there is a seam in the plastic casing of the vacuum body right above the trigger. The top of your finger will rub against this seam constantly. It will rub a sore on top of your finger.• The trigger: Some people have complained about having to hold down the trigger to keep the vacuum running. I expected to have a problem with this, but I didn’t. Just holding the V11 in a normal way rests your finger on the trigger during use, and it’s so sensitive that I seldom release it accidentally. (The sensitivity is actually almost a problem, I sometimes accidentally trigger the vacuum just handling it.)• Length: It’s important. The grip of the V11’s handle is about 40″ from the floor. The handle of my old Rocket was 42″. As a 6’2″ older person, I have to bend a little more than I like to vacuum with the V11. Most people probably won’t have that problem.• Other notes: Because of physics, dust spinning around the inside of the plastic canister generates static electricity. If you touch the plastic casing during operation, you can get a little shock. Also, when removing the shaft and brush head to empty the dust canister, the shaft/head won’t stand up by itself for you (something my old Rocket would do), it just falls over.In conclusion, I kind of wish my old Rocket still did the job, but at the end of the day, the Dyson V11 has superior vacuuming capability, and that’s what you need. It has some pleasant features and some mildly annoying drawbacks, but it’s worth the holiday price.

Very powerful vacuum but it’s heavy for a portable vacuum.I also do NOT LIKE to way you empty it. You have to take the long rod off to empty the canister. Poor design.I do love the 3 different modes of power and the induction of how much power you have left.
R. Lussier –
I tried using the cheap China clones throughout my house last year for the different levels in our home, and everyone of them broke within a year and a half, one sooner than that. This time I bought a Dyson V11 that was on sale for Black Friday, and man, does it ever deliver. The suction is much more powerful than the other vacuums I purchased. And despite it being made largely of plastic, it’s really very rugged. This model didn’t come with a lot of attachments, but I’m thinking about buying another one and put this one upstairs and make the newer one for the main floor and the basement. I do recommend this model even though I’ve had it only for a little over a week.
James P. Bean –
Pleasantly surprised by the thorough clean up job it does. Overall pleased with the purchase but there are two minor issues I have with it, no light and having to constantly squeeze the trigger during operation. It does a MUCH better job than my old stick vacuum, but my old one has a light, which comes in handy to identify debris that might otherwise be missed. After using the V11 for approximately 30 minutes I noticed I was developing a friction blister inside of my trigger finger.A light and a locking trigger option or simple on/off button would have made it a five star.
Nesar Ahmad –
This is better than v8, should be v9 not 11.
Hannah Baker –
The battery life isn’t an issue for my 1300 square foot house but I also use it on eco mode most of the time. It cleans well and is the best cordless vacuum I’ve owned. It maneuvers well and picks up dog hair well.

I have a cat and a white German Sheppherd whos fur glitter is never ending.I have a Kirby for carpets but its a huge pain to lug out and switch attachments to use on hardwoos floors. So, I have been on the search of a less bulky, cordless, powerful vacuum for my hardwood floors and area rug. I have a corded stick that isnt the best. That said, after trying 4 other cordless stick vacuums, I bit the bullet and bought the V11.I vacuumed first with my original corded stick vacuum on my hardwood floors and area rug. I then went over the areas again with the V11. Omgosh! I love it! So much hair was still remaining. I had to empty the bin twice. Some say the battery doesnt last long…I dont think these are made for the whole house…I used it only for my hallway, living room, area rug and kitchen with plenty of battery remaining all while using on the Medium setting. I highly recommend especially if you have to vacuum daily or quickly. My only con is you have to hold in the button to vacuum. I will be looking for something to help with that while using. Otherwise, its excellent.
Ryan Shelton –
We’ll see if it holds up. Mounting was easy.
Diane –
Love the convenience, but now it only lasts about 10 minutes before it runs out of juice
Liam –
The built in hair de tangling system is a life saver for our home with a double coated dog. Had to take apart and cut hair from old Dyson cordless vac. This one is a game changer. No hair on the beater brush. Get about 30 min on medium setting which is plenty of time to complete the job. Also, a lot easier charging cradle than what we had. Would recommend if you can find it on sale.
DONNA R ROSE –
Easy to use if you are older with back problems like me! Does a good job picking up crumbs and dog hair.Sadly, the charge lasts longer than I do !!!!! Holding the handle gave me a blister by the joint of my thumb, so I must wear a heavy bandaid of gloves!
Heather –
I love this vacuum. I have had a corded dyson for years, and I have loved it, but this is even better. It is much lighter weight. I love that it is charged up and ready to use, so I don’t have to have it plugged in when I use it. I can just grab it easily to clean up quick messes. Of course, it has the great suction of all Dysons.
Former fan –
My old corded Dyson died and I was skeptical that any replacement would be adequate. This one has surpassed my expectations. Lightweight, quiet enough that my dog doesn’t hide, powerful enough to rid my home of shedded dog hair and pleasant enough that I want to vacuum multiple times a day!Look no further for an excellent machine!
Deke –
The vacuum itself is wonderful, I absolutely love it. The biggest concern I have is with the wall mounting hardware. It’s a nice feature to have but it was so poorly thought out it’s not worth using. First of all, the screws that they give you are far too long for the drywall anchors and you run out of threads before you can get it tightened down. Then there’s the fact that the accessory holders are placed in such a way that you cannot insert the accessories without unclipping the mount from itself to make them fit, rendering it useless. It however, does perform its most important function and that is dropping the vacuum into the mounting bracket and it automatically plugging itself into charge, that part works flawlessly. I just was such an innovative brand. You think they could do a little better with the whole mounting situation?
A.S –
I have been waiting to get this for months, now that I have it, I am in love. The only problem is the top display doesn’t work so I can’t switch modes or see how long the battery life is. I thought after I let it 100% charge it would work but it doesn’t
Virginia C. –
I like how convenient it is, the size and ease of cleaning is great. I do not like the placement of the trigger button.I constantly trigger it on when I’m just trying to lift it.
Ray S. –
I bought it for an older lady with back problems and it is much easier for her to use. Light weight, and right height for her. Plus it picks up the dirt very well and is easy to empty. Love that it is cordless.
David B. Karpf –
We had the prior version of this Dyson Vacuum for at least 10 year, until it stopped keeping a charge. What we like about this vacuum cleaner is that it is light weight but does a great jib vacuuming up, and it is both cordless but also has an AC charger where it lives when not in use, to keep it fully charged.
Debra Hauhio –
I have had this vacuum for months now. I really wanted to like this vacuum. First Dyson I bought from Costco I returned too. I do like the suction power, although it sucks up my rugs even on the lowest setting. I do like the push & empty cannister. However, the battery does not last long enough to finish all my rooms, and it takes too long to recharge. Also, the trigger to power the vacuum has to be held down by your pointer to keep it going. I wish there was an on/off switch as it is very hard on the finger. Yesterday, my pointer had a blister rubbed on it from friction. I also wish the cannister itself was not so heavy. Honestly, if I wasn’t past my return date, I’d return it. I really wanted to like it…I mean, it’s a Dyson.
Vernon Walter –
It’s a little weighty to handle for an old man but other than that it’s good to go. It’s has a lot of power and picks up really good. It stays charged for quite a while.I’m really satisfied with it and would recommend it to anyone.
DScott –
Dyson V11. Going cordless and bag-less makes vacuuming (sorta) fun. This is a robust battery powered vacuum cleaner. Mostly we use it a lot around the cat boxes to pick up cat liter and in the kitchen for general cleaning but it would be great anywhere. It has a squeeze trigger (it does not have an ON/OFF switch) which we find easy to use. It is a stick-type vacuum which does not have any additional attachments.
NiceShine Customer –
Can’t say enough good things about it. Took me longer to set up an outlet for the charger but the mounting was easy in the closet. Hanging there and ready to go. Power ON!
lynn –
I upgraded my older Dyson and purchased this new one on sale. Of course, we all know Dyson is amazing and this one does not disappoint! The cannister holds twice as much as my old one, it’s quieter, and is lightweight. The attachments are handy and useful. One thing to keep in mind is the Dyson and it’s charging station butt out from the wall about 10″, whereas my older version did not. I have a really small laundry room and I might move it, but depending on where you hang it, it’s something to keep in mind. It’s still a 5-star vacuum!
Goldi Locks –
Easy to run and easy to use. I mainly use this on my carpets. I use a different, cheaper wand vacuum for my hardwoods. You can use this one if you would like. I choose not to. This vacuum does a great job pulling dust, dirt, and cat hair from thick carpets.
Cian Cronin –
Went from an excellent wired Miele vacuum to this and I’ll never look back.Got in for an excellent Black Friday deal for ~$380, so if you can get it on sale then that’s an excellent price but to be honest it’s overall just worth the lack of hassle that this item brings to your everyday life.I have a single bed apartment and the battery life is ~40 minutes on “medium mode”, and I only ever need a maximum of 20 minutes to vacuum my entire apartment. The “boost mode” drops the battery to about 10-15 minutes, but the medium mode is all I’ve ever really needed bar for some hard to reach places.Overall an excellent product!
nygimme –
I bought this Dyson vacuum after reading some of the prior reviews. What was particularly appealing to me was that customers said it would take a pet hair that was embedded in a rug. Not only does it do that, but it does so much more. I don’t need to put towels or blankets down on the couches because you can directly vacuum the couch as well as bedspreads and comforters without it getting caught. This vacuum is lightweight and very easy to maneuver. Some were disappointed with the battery life, but I have not found that to be the case. This Dyson is well worth the investment and I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Buckeye Family –
I saw all the fancy commercials for Dyson, but I decided I would journey down the path of “I know better” and hunt for other stick vacuums that wouldn’t rob my wallet. I am being completely serious. I tried black and decker (it was a dark place that month); my buying skills were wounded. I tried shark, worked okay…but not like their upright versions. And I went down the TEMU blackhole. Eventually, in a moment of clarity, I bought a Dyson. Friends…don’t hesitate. Buy a Dyson. I still hate spending this much on a suction device — but if you have stairs or hard floors or floors of any kind — Dyson. This has become the favorite vacuum in the house hands down. And vacuuming the stairs is super easy and, more importantly, gets the stairs actually clean. I got it for hardwood stairs and carpeted stairs Yep we have both (another poor decision on my part). A lot of words I know, but I don’t write a lot of reviews…and this one deserved my time. Don’t waste money on others like I did — Thanks 🙂

Love it. Get the little clip that keeps the button on while you vacuum. We also bought the thing to put it in and it charges it as well. I can get the house done right before the battery runs out. I empty as I finish a room. It worked so well, the tube got clogged. The vacuum let’s you know. I am very pleased and always worth the extra for a Dyson. Quality product, always!

Stephanie Van Hoose –
My husband surprised me with a Dyson for Christmas. I have been buying cheap versions for years that last 6 months- a year. My advice is stop wasting your time and money and just buy the Dyson. Oh my gosh it’s amazing! We have two dogs and all hardwood floors. The amount of dirt and hair it gets is unreal. The battery lasts long enough for me to vacuum my entire downstairs approx 1800-1900sq ft. I do have some complaints though. This week I used the vacuum 3 days in a row. I ended up a blister between my thumb and index finger. Because there isn’t a way to hold the on button. I did just read that you can buy something on NiceShine to hold it down or use a rubberband. Also I ended up with a bruise on the back of my thumb from the hard plastic. These are just design issues. But as far as a vacuum goes this is the best thing I’ve bought.
Verified Vixen –
For years, I lugged around a clunky canister vacuum, fully convinced it was the best thing since sliced bread. Then, on a whim, my tech-savvy husband brought home this Dyson cordless stick vacuum — installed it in our coat closet like it was no big deal — and honestly? I was majorly skeptical. But wow. Consider me converted. This thing is light — like, feather light. Skinny — kinda like me back in high school. And powerful — like, eat-dust-bunnies-for-breakfast powerful. It’s basically the trifecta of vacuum cleaners.I’ve officially said my goodbyes to the old canister vacuum (RIP, buddy) and fully embraced my new Dyson love affair. Highly recommend — especially if you’re ready to retire your clunky vacuum dinosaur.
Michael –
it got four stars only because the size of the waste compartment. with having 2 german sheperds that shed alot i vacuum twice a week even with my old vacuum. when i used this one for the first time it looked like i had never vacuumed before in my rooms with carpet! my whole reason was to get a cordless vac but this has so much better suction which was unexpected and the battery life is also way better than expected
Jamie –
Nice vacuum but I can’t use it on the thin carpets. It won’t move and that’s the reason why I bought it for dog hair.
Jay –
This vacuum is the best one I’ve ever owned hands down. It is more than enough for bare floors(duh) but I also have some deep, not high, pile carpet and it really cleans down deep in those. It does run for about ~40 mins on Med. Boost only lets it run ~15 mins. Eco(to me) is a waste if you’re trying to do some cleaning, but you can stretch the runtime for some Eco setting. The filter is easily washable and there are replacements here on NiceShine for cheap. The dump bin is about as easy as it gets to empty, just be careful and don’t completely rip it off.
Good Product –
Light weight and fairly easy to use. It tends to fall over if you try to prop it up and seems a bit delicate for something needed for housecleaning. I’d like a bit more durability. Recommend using a stand or the included wall mount over leaning the unit against something. Keep the motor safe and it should work well.

Love this vacuum. Strong suction and able to do the whole floor on one charge.

I bought this to replace my old one that stopped working for unknown reasons. I love the convenience and ease of use but the battery never charged as high as it said it would. I mostly use it in short bursts to clean up dirt and debris around the house so it’s perfect for that.

I am really loving this vacuum. My old dyson was in need of a new battery. I only stayed on for seconds at a time which you can imagine is not helpful. I was desperate for a functioning unit and decided to splurge on a new one rater than get a battery for my 10 year old one.I am so happy I did! The suction is much better on this unit. It charges pretty quickly and I can do my whole 1200 square feet of carpet on one charge. It comes with lots of attachment accessories that I am anxious to try.I would absolutely recommend this unit.

It works. I wish it had more suction 😕. The lowest setting was not strong enough to pull spilled coffee grounds off a kitchen mat & the middle setting was still having challenges, I turned it all the way up and then after I went over the area several times I was able to get the coffee grounds up.

Can’t complain. It clogs pretty easily, but unclogging it is not much of a chore (use a screwdriver to push the clog out). The silicone rubber roller works great on solid, uncarpeted floors – but I’d still recommend a brush roller for carpets. The battery is a bit unconventional and oddly shaped.

The product is amazing! Best purchase ever

I’m not one to write a lot of reviews. But the picture speaks for itself. This is after I had my normal housekeeping sevice come through with their upright vacuums. This vacuum is as quiet as my dyson airwrap, which I did not realize was a possibility. It did not frighten my baby, my dog, or my cats. I love this cordless vacuum. It picked up so much pet hair that it was honestly embarrassing. But I could immediately tell the difference when walking on the carpet. It’s light and easily maneuvered. I also love the countdown on the battery life.

This light weight cordless vacuum does terrific job on hardwood floors and carpet. We are very satisfied. Thank you. A+++

Pros: lightweight that a school-aged child can easily use it. The wireless vacuum makes it easy to use and vacuum with. You can see how much you’ve collected.Cons: that charge only last around 20 minutes. The vacuum gets easily clogged and needs to be emptied frequently.

This contraption sucks harder than yo mama !

Better than the original DC 59

I love how easy it is to carry around. It’s perfect for a quick clean. wish I bought this sooner !
Gerri –
I love my Dyson. It was worth every penny. It’s easy to use and get the job done fast. I mostly use this product instead of a broom. I have a dog who sheds like crazy and this along with a robot vacuum help keep the shedding under control.

Finally a cordless vac that does everything it should! I was hesitant to invest more than a couple hundred bucks in a vac. I have another brand that cost about $250, and the performance was barely adequate for anything more than quick clean-ups. I couldn’t get more that ten minutes from a full charge on it’s highest setting. I’m amazed at this Dyson! Even on the medium setting, it runs circles around my old vac, and I get nearly forty minutes of run time on medium. I’ve yet to run it on its highest setting, even tackling all the stray fur from our two Brittanys. This is a winner!

Almost unbelievable how much dirt and pet hair it sucked out of my carpets. I regularly vacuum 2-3 times a week. First trip around the house with the Dyson and it looked like years worth of dirt and hair in the container. Very impressive.

Bought this vacuum bc my friend had the V8 and loved it, and I decided to buy the most recent version bc if i’m going to shell out this much money might as well buy the best version. As someone who has been living with a cheaper vacuum i’ve become passionate about this one after the first time i used it. It sucked up so much hair and dirt I didn’t even realize was living on my rug. I think I feel safe to eat off of my rug now. My old vacuum I had to clean after every couple of uses bc the hair could clog the brush. Zero problem for this one. Also, I used to accept the fact that vacuums can’t clean hard-wood floors- well this one definitely sucks up anything there also. Just what I hoped for. Cleaning is so much easier now. This suction is next level, the boost level was *almost* too much since it was lifting my heavy rug up at some points. Hell yeah. This marks the day i’m extremely excited about a vacuum.

I researched suction and this was the best one. I have had it 3 months, barely used it, and now the thing drops all the trash when I turn it off and lift it. I am so angry because this machine wasn’t cheap. I will be in contact with Dyson to find out why this machine isn’t working as promised.

It is excellent vacume. But some item was missing in my order. That dusting brush and the long crevice and hair screw tool tool.

Works great. Had an issue with the battery and customer service took care of it right away.

Kim –
So far so good! It sucks up everything on the floor and is pretty lightweight. Hope this thing lasts long! The charge also lasts longer in comparison to some of the other brands I’ve bought.
NiceShine Customer –
lightweight and easy to use as I have back issues.

Love it.

Wish I didn’t have to hold down the button while I vacuum, battery charge is okay, gets most everything after a few passes

I had an Oreck XL for 15 years and I never had it professionally serviced I changed out the parts buy getting them on NiceShineBUT This beauty had been a Godsend especially since I now need a wheelchair to get around! It’s easy to handle, very powerful especially on the “ Boost” setting and for my 1 bedroom apartment there is plenty of run time The dust cup picks up an incredible amount of dirt and cat hair from my carpet and I have a caregiver who vacuums 3 times a week!I got this Dyson 11 on an NiceShine sale and paid less than another high quality cordless vacuum cleaner.

I’ll follow up with a complete review after I use it. BUT…. This is the United States of America!!!! All my initial instructions should not be in Spanish!😡😡😡. I had to turn 4 pages including the leaflet to find English!!! That’s absurd!!!! I’m so angry right now.Update! The vacuum is superb! Our rug felt as if I’d got a new one. Impressive!!

Love this Dyson stick, it’s light and easy to use. It’s powerful and I use it more than my Dyson upright.
Carole L Baker –
Great vacuum. Cordless, lightweight and easy to use. Many additional features to clean in different areas.
Claudia –
It works well, but it is hard to empty and has such a small cage that you are constantly dumping trashI think I’d rather have a traditional vaccum
Melody –
Great vac, love that Dyson finally put the battery % on the display so I can charge it only when it needs it. Their batteries die too fast when plugged in all the time otherwise, as I have owned many of their stick vacs and uprights. This does a great job picking up my rabbits’ stray hay and fur compared to other models and does not clog as easily. Definitely recommend this, just don’t keep it plugged in to save your battery life!
Kim –
We love this vaccum. This is our third Dyson and I don’t think we could ever go back. We used to use this just for the car etc but this cordless vac is good enough for it to be our only one .
Nicholas Partenope –
With a golden retriever, this vacuum has me cleaning twice a week rather than every day, and I haven’t had to clean the wheel once.

James A. Connolly –
excellent quality

I knew my previous vacuum wasn’t doing the job, but I didn’t know how much it was leaving behind until I used this vacuum today for the first time. It’s lightweight and powerful! I have 2 cats and one of them is an adult Ragdoll…lots of shedding! This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned, and that’s after using it one time.
S4Camp –
I love this vacuum! Too, not have to deal with a cord in your way is so nice. It’s every bit a strong as a bigger bulky vacuum. I am very pleased.
PaulMidi –
I absolutely love this vacuum cleaner. I can’t believe I waited so long to buy it. I wish I had bought one of these years ago.
Stacy L. Green –
I had considered getting a Dyson for a long time but kept buying other ones that were closer to $100 or 150. I would end up replacing them about every year to 16 months on the dot. I would get the same one because I had the extra batteries and definitely needed them to vacuum the whole house (2100 sq ft). Finally decided to buy this one.Pros:1. Better suction. Far surpasses any of the ones I’ve used before. Also it picks up everything. My other vacuum would not pick up fluff from our dogs’ beds that they are constantly destroying. This vacuum does and more whereas my other would just push them around and only grab dirt and hair.2. No blockage. At some point, I was cleaning out the bristles and first section of my vacuum in the middle of one room because it would back up. Not the Dyson. The Dyson runs until you decide to empty the dust bin. Nothing gets stuck in the first section at all. Far superior.3. Great run time. One battery is just fine for us to do the whole house and still not need to charge. In comparison to my old vacuum where I would have to change the batter 2 to 3 times.Cons (not deal-breakers to me):1. No light at the floor. It was satisfying with my old vacuum to see what I was getting and if I needed to go over again especially on my dark wood floor sections.2. Power button does not lock. You do have to hold the “rigger” to run the vacuum which is tiring after awhile. With that in mind, this is by far worth the cons that I had. It is a far better vacuum in performance. Now I pray it lasts longer than a year.
