Solar panels are far more convenient for charging purposes. The battery doesn’t seem to hold much of a charge. Really handy grill, great not having to worry about packing in fuel.

I bought it as part of our Hurricane Preparedness kit hoping I would never have to use it. I used it during Irma.As a camp stove, I guess it’s ok. I didn’t buy it for that but I can see how it would work ok. As something to keep devices charged, nope. not even.I had charged the battery before we lost power. When morning came and it was safe to go out, I setup and got it lit. not terribly difficult but a smoky experience since most everything I had was wet. Once it was burning, I started throwing on pieces of hickory I had in a bag. Not huge pieces, big enough to burn at a good rate though.I plugged my iPad in which was at 50% charge.Even though the red light (Temp) was all the way to the top, the battery drained faster than it could regenerate. After about 90 minutes, I unplugged my iPad, now at 85% up from 50% because the CampStove2’s battery was so low it was no longer charging. I continued to burn at the highest rate for another 45 or so minutes. It did not move the battery indicator at all.So, if you’ve got a chord of wood with you broken into 2″ chunks and nothing to do for an entire day, yes, you might can charge an iPhone or an iPad. Other than that, buy it only if you want an expensive Camp Stove.BTW, their XL Lantern was absolutely fabulous! I’ll review it later. :)Cheers! :)=C=

I am happy with this. I have a Traeger grill and tend to cook for 4 or 5 days at a time. That means I was stuck heating things up in the microwave in between times or heating up the whole grill just to warm my food. It is too hot at my house this time of year to indoor cook. I also wanted to quit using my microwave so much. I also travel by car a lot and sometimes end up sleeping in my car at a rest stop or something similar and wanted a way to make coffee or heat up food on the go. Well this is easy, quick, light weight and compact. I have heated up my dinner, made coffee and even cooked a couple of eggs with it. The only problem I have had is I tend to put more wood then I need in it and then I have to wait for it to finish burning before I can put it away. I did the initial charge via the USB port as instructed and so far my meter still reads fully charged.

Fire wasn’t even enough to recharge the fan battery, much less charge a light or device. The battery comes with a small charge for you to be able to start a fire immediately, but the battery died about 15 minutes into use. Unfortunately once the battery dies it’s impossible to use the stove. Extremely disappointed. Will be returning immediately. I bought this stove for emergency situations and it has clearly failed. Thankfully I was just testing in my backyard and there wasn’t any emergency at all.

Not what I was expecting. You must fully charge the battery before use and then it doesn’t hold a charge no matter how hot the fire is. I bought this when hurricane Irma came through, the only good use I got from it was it help me make a small pot of hot water for my instant coffee. It did not charge my cell phones.

Easily started a fire. Got hot fast. Once hot enough it charged my phone at about 1% per minute. Solar is good for charging when you have the sun but for backpacking I am going to have a small cooking device anyway so I might as well take this and have the ability to charge my phone as well.

I had the original stove with the grill and bought the Campstove 2 as soon as I was able to. This stove is a great upgrade from the original with better heat control and larger burning chamber. I use it mainly to grill at home for just my wife and myself, but I have used it camping also. It makes it very easy to use whatever is at hand to cook with. I particularly like wood pellets when I cook at home.

I have been the proud owner and frequent user of the original Camp Stove for around 2 years, so when the Camp Stove 2 came out I bought one immediately. The original is still working fine, and I liked the idea of the additional fan speeds and indicators, as well as the larger generating capacity. Some background: As per my screen name, I am a nomad, living out of my 99 GMC Suburban, and camping most of the time, although I do visit friends from time to time. So the stove gets a lot of use.I have been very happy with the Camp Stove 2 overall. Fires are easy to light and maintain, and being able to charge my phone or run the light is great. It certainly beats having to start a big campfire just to boil water for coffee or cook something simple. I have the grill attachment, so most simple meals can be cooked this way, saving time, trouble and fuel. it is a rare campsite that doesn’t have enough small twigs, pine cones, etc. for this purpose. One thing to be aware of is that the stove is VERY efficient. So much so that it is important to remember not so stuff the firebox with fuel. With a bit of patience you can learn how much to add to get the lever of fire you want, without overdoing it. (Once I had to dump the fire out into the campfire pit in order to keep it from going crazy.)Highly recommended!

I’ve been using the CampStove for most of the past year. I love not having to carry fuel for long hikes, and be able to recharge my phone every night after a day full of taking pictures. It will power one of my power banks and the power bank will charge my iPhone a few times. It is a camping wood stove and that’s what I use it for and I even used it when we had a power outage for 4 days because of a hurricane. I love it

I’ve owned the first version of this stove as well… and this one is VASTLY improved. The temperature indicator is excellent at letting you know when you might need to add more wood… without constantly lifting your cooking pot. (We use larger pots as I’m usually cooking for 4-7 people.) The power output is waaaaay more than the previous model… and the internal battery allows you to cook without worrying about cables or devices close by… and using the electronic part by itself later on as a USB power source.I camped with a cousin of mine who had a super light fuel stove…. but when we compared the 2 liters of fuel he brought… the weight of this stove is quite reasonable. Oh, and it’s just plain cool to cook and charge with WOOD. 🙂

Best stove I’ve owned — period. I can cook an entire meal for my crew using sticks, pine cones, and other detritus found on the forest floor — clean burning, high-efficiency, and fully sustainable without lugging fuel and the inherent risks of petrochemical use. No mess or smoke (once you get a little practice in) and I can recharge GPS, phone, iPad, and other field electronics quickly and easily. Save weight, reduce risk, and minimize your footprint all at once — genius.

I bought this campstove for a week long camping festival in Oregon for the solar eclipse in 2017. I bought it because I wanted to have minimal consumer impact during my trip and I love Biolite products. I have their solar panel, nanogrid and other accessories for the campstove. I really like how their philosophy revolves around producing low impact, off the grid, multi function items.I didn’t end up using the stove like I thought I would, because during a test run, it turned out to be a little harder to use than I wanted to deal with. There is not a lot of flexibility as to what size fuel can be used, mostly just small twigs, so when I bought firewood thinking I could split it down to manageable pieces, it turned out to be a difficult task. If you have already scouted your potential camping area and have the time to search for the correct size firewood that you know to be available, then this stove would be quite nice. But for my trip to Oregon, not knowing if I could find fuel readily available, I decided to opt for a gas stove that I already own.The other thing that I had trouble with during my testing was the campstove’s compatibility with regular cooking pans. I had no problem boiling water in the biolite pot, and no problem grilling turkey burgers on the grill, but I had some trouble cooking scrambled eggs in a pan because the mouth of the stove was quite small and I didn’t feel comfortable balancing the pan on top without my hand on the handle at all times. And without the reasonable level, permanent picnic table that was at our campsite, it would’ve been an even more unstable cooking environment. I think it is a nice complementary item to the camp kitchen, but I don’t think I will be using it as my only cooking apparatus.overall, I give it 4 stars because I love the concept, and I am willing to put in the effort to make it work on anther trip, but for a casual camper, using it might take more planning and effort than they are wanting to expend on a weekend getaway

I love this product and found it performed as promised. I used it several times on trail and it works flawlessly. One thing to note/pack is small sticks in addition to the starter logs. We had quite a bit of rain so having dry fuel was a essential and it didnt add a lot of weight. I find myself wanting to use it more and more.

This is an amazing product, the self contained recharging battery not only runs the fan but will recharge small devices. After being lit it is smokeless- dryer the fuel the better or the pellets they sell for longer burn on a single load- it is twig hungry. As a learning curve, lighting it every thing is straight forward- ashes left are powder. I would buy it again.

I’ve used this for each camping trip of 2017, and it performed flawlessly every single time. Pair it with the kettle-pot and you’re all set.Tip 1: charge it up prior to the first useTip 2: carry a medium/large Tupperware container to store dry twigs, branches, wood, kindling. Buy the fuel pellets as a reserve.Tip 3: fill the chamber with wood and a bit of paper/wax/kindling starter. Turn the fan on low & use a stove/grill butane lighter to start the show. Turn the fan to medium/high and enjoy a very fast heat-up.Tip 4: if you need to break camp shortly after cooking, take the orange powerbank & fan off the steel housing, set it aside and keep the fan running for a few cycles. It will cool itself down, and you can simply rinse the metal enclosure with cool water, dry it off, pack up and go.

Holy crap! When this thing goes, it creates a tornado of fire! Boiled 2 cups of water in 4 minutes. However, it DOES take a few minutes to really get going. Using Biolite pellets in addition to wood made a big difference in flame output. The stove is very well designed and built. I would not use it as a primary camp-stove however, as it is useless in the rain. It would be a good stove for an additional camper to take on a group trip, particularly for the charging feature.

I’ve had both the BioLite stoves — the first and second versions — and they are just too much of a hassle. It takes a lot of work and babysitting to keep the flame going, and in colder weather I could not get the battery to charge. I had a blazing fire going for over an hour and the meter just stayed where it was — low to no charge. Then you can get into these weird scenarios in which the flames die down, and you are trying to get it going, but the fan turns off. Just very busy and fickle. I’m going back to the tried and true gas stoves.

I have purchase the campstove directly from Biolite during the FirePit campaign. They have great marking selling the idea of living off green and being green. When I saw the videos of this stove the have a nice roaring fire so I though it would be great for small sittings on the back porch. So, I bought food grade pellets and broke a bunch of small sticks for non food use. Lighting is fairly easy and the fan starts once it is burning. It burns nice and clean and puts out a lot of heat, however, here is where the problems start. On the wood sticks after about 20 minutes the fan goes full blast and all the lights blink on it. So, looking online appears to be over heating. Once it starts to over heat you are done cooking or just enjoying the fire. You have to let it burn out and cool off. So you lose 20 minutes or more of burn and recharge. Thinking it was the sticks, I decided to use food grade pellets. I loaded it 3/4 high and tried to cook steaks on the cook top. Again burns really nice and hot, however after 20 minutes it started to over heat again. So you have to quickly finish what you ate cooking and let it shut down. Kinda useless for cooking and charge if you only get 20 minutes. After multiple times using wood and pellets I decide to reach out to Biolite. I have read in some of the reviews on here that they do not invest to much in great customer service. I was hoping I would have a positive experience. So, I filled out a claim form on the web page under support. Waited three days and never got a response. I tried to call them and they do not answer and make you left a message. So I left my name and phone number and no surprise, they never called back. Last attempt, tried to email them at [email protected] and 5 days later I finally got a response. They said the Unit I may have might be very sensitive. So answering questions it take a minimum of 24 hours to just get a response. So after going back on forth on how I use it they wanted the serial number so I sent it to them and it has been a week now and no response again. So, I am very disappointed with the slow support and lack thereof at time. I will update the review if I get this resolved. If you are considering purchasing a product, please test the suppprt first.

Beyond cool and nifty, this thing ROCKS! Easy to use, set up, gather fuel for, cook on… does exactly what you want it to do. Used it at 11k feet for 3 days for 2 meals a day with no issues whatsoever. The blower really helps get things moving when at altitude, too. Size is manageable when transporting; weight isn’t too bad, especially considering you don’t have to lug fuel around everywhere you go. Keep in mind, it is a little top-heavy, so be sure you’re on a level surface. Also, don’t be in a rush to charge your device as it takes a little while to charge things up.

It is a lot more work than my Jetboil gas stove. Used it on a backpack trip. Takes at least 5 minutes to get a fire going and another 5 minutes to boil 2 cups of water. This stove requires tending the fire frequently meaning feeding it more fuel. After 10 minutes the ash builds up in the bottom covering the air holes in the sides. This tends to put the fire out. You then have to dump out the ash and start over. It was too much of a hassle for me to want to deal with. I’ll stick with my gas stove.Very difficult to get fire started as there are no holes at the bottom. A long wand type lighter would be best for this stove. The charging system works although the fire only seemed to keep the internal battery charged up about half way.

Disclaimer: This review is for the original version. I hope gen 2 holds up to my expectations.First off, no you don’t get much charge for your phone, but that’s really not the point. The point is that it will charge the internal battery to keep the billows fan going as long as you add fuel – which is anything combustible you can find laying around. It’s not light for a backpacking stove, but seeing as how it collapses down well, you carry zero fuel, and conversely, cant ever run out of fuel, it’s an even trade. And this thing gets HOT! I was doing some testing with it on a trip last year and got over a 4 foot tall flame using only wood. I’d advise against trying that. Also, this looks like the gen 1 version – which I bought before REI even carried it. This is my 3rd season using it, average about 15 full days of meals per season, still works exactly the same as when I fist used it.Pro tip: Fill half way with starting fuel (smaller sticks, pine cones, etc), add a dollop of hand sanitizer, light, top off with a little more starting fuel, then turn on the billows. You’ll have water boiling in a few minutes.Yes, it’s SLIGHTLY more involved than a jet boil or similar stove, but I say use what mother nature leaves laying around for you. Once you’ve figured it out, you’ll love it.If you’re in the wilderness and want to charge your electronics, use a solar panel.

BioLite has a great integrated system with their stoves and lighting accessories. I purchased my stove with the Kettle and the Grill accessories. The CampStove 2 is easy to light and easy to keep running. It is easy enough for my wife and daughters to use. Like any small wood fueled stove you do need to feed it frequently. That is a reality of the fuel it uses, not a ding against the stove itself. Besides, you should babysit any fire you make while in the field. I found it to boil water quickly without excessive fuel use. I charged the battery when it arrived and it hasn’t gone down after 4 burns and lite use of the included lamp.I purchased this for car and RV camping and any emergency use we may need. It has been perfect for those situations.

I went camping in the Fort Bragg area, all the tinder was not exactly dry but once the fire got going it was awesome! I recharged the battery before leaving “just in case” which turned out to be a good idea, the charge doesn’t last long charing an Iphone 6, but I was able to get2 phones completely charged.Charging the battery with the fire wasn’t as fast as I expected or wanted but it did recharge the battery from almost dead to full with a few small fires on low fan speed. Overall I would recommend this product, even with it’s weight for backpackers who wild camp or anyone who camps or “glamps”, my next purchase my be the fire pit they make as some places in California are now not allowing open fires.

So this thing is cool and fun to use. It works great to charge up phones but the only downside is it’s pack size. It’s about the size of my sleeping bag in the compression sack and takes up a lot of extra space in my pack.If you’re going on a 1-3 day/night camping trip, you’d be better off just bringing a small spare battery pack to recharge your phone. It’d be better on longer camping trips to justify its size.

Have the Gen 1 and see the gen 2 is no different.A fantastic idea made for remote villages – brought to the hiker adventurer. I was very excited and maybe one of the first to get it and take it camping. While I needed a practical stove it was more of a geek toy.The good: Everything worksThe not so practical:1 The top burner alone is very tipsy and pot rest area small – you cannot and should not load even a medium pot on it and not keep holding it.2 The burning is good but too short as you need to keep adding wood – and every time you do, you have to lift your pot off the stove and add new fuel in. At this point the temp drops till the new fuel lights up again since it is a vertical dip, all the fresh wood stays on top3 Your cooking time should be short – so while it has a charger, you will have to charge all and anything within 15-30 minutes4 if you go camping in foul weather – you are toast as you need dry wood – anything even mildly wet creates a smoke signal :)I would buy it to demonstrate a thermocouple and possibilities in high school projects, not depend on this as my only camping stove.

This little stove is quite versatile when it comes to burning all kinds of wooden fuel. Plus the battery units is a great addition to burning efficiency with its onboard fan. Plus it has the ability to store (2600 mAh battery) and produce electricity (just 3 watts). It’s pretty heavy for backpacking but its worth carrying if you have electronics. Easy to clean and pack after use. On my first test burn, one cup of wood pellets gave me 30 minute of burn time with a medium fan. It could be a great addition to your gear.

Very Functional, Easy to Use, But Not As Light As Expected. When you pack it all up (battery inside stove, stove inside water heater) it becomes fairly heavy. That is fine for me as a car-camper, and short-distance hiker. I also bought it for my son – who does longer hikes where he carries everything. He uses it but has let me know that it is quite awkward to carry.

The Campstove 2 is light, and relatively easy to use. If you’re away from a power source while camping, this will charge your phone or other small electronics.Drawbacks:1. Takes a very long time to charge a standard phone (more than 5-6 hours)2. Since it is small and easy to carry, you have to be constantly feeding the stove for the power to be consistently charging your device. It is inherently not a “set and forget” device. So be prepared to be tending this little fire for a while.3. It gets really hot (duh), so be careful where you grab it when you are trying to move it or re-position it.Cool little device that works, but not as practical as one might want.

I used it camping I do overland, travel trailer and boat camping and it’s fine for those works great. Not sure I’d choose it for backpack camping or hiking were weight and size matter a lot. But over all really cool stove.

My son purchased the BioLite Campstove 2. He loves campfires and gadgets so this stove checked two boxes right away. The stove is on the heavy side, about 2 lbs, as far as backpacking stoves are concerned. On the other hand, you don’t have to carry a lot of fuel (a liter of alcohol for my stove is nearly a pound) and you can recharge devices via the USB port; therefore, you can pack a smaller powerbank or just leave it at home.He experimented with it in the backyard to make sure everything was in order. We used it on a recent backpacking trip, in the mountains. Mostly to boil water for freeze dried food, coffee, and hot coco. The stove does a great job of adjusting flame and temperature. He uses an MSR kettle to boil water. We have not checked the boil times with a stopwatch; but it was fast enough for us.One thing he learned was that when you rely on your surrounding for your stove fuel, an inch of rain over night can make cooking breakfast, the next morning, difficult. If it’s been raining where you plan to hike, pack in some dry tinder. If you’re on a multi night trip, plan ahead by stashing some dry sticks along the way. We pulled out the alcohol burner and carried on; but would have been in jam otherwise. If the stove weight and fuel / powerbank trade off works for you, I would recommend this stove. Just watch the weather and plan accordingly.

I had the original BioLife that just failed after 10 years. It’s an amazing device, and worked as our full time stove in BC and the PNW while we car camped. I used it on my deck at home, let friends use it. If you are going to find a flaw, it would be the electrical production for charging devices will more maintain phones at current charge rather than increase charge. Totally recommend this if you like to sit by the fire. 95% cleaner fire than a traditional fire😁

The cool factor of this product is amazing. I experimented with it at home and found that very helpful as I over fed it fuel and that was a mistake. But as long as there was any flame, it created electricity for its onboard fan and battery. During the test fire, I also connected a USB cable to charge a battery pack and even with the smallest of flames it kept the fan working while still charging. It made a bit more smoke than I had expected, but it is probably a result of operator area. It is smaller than I had expected and it took a little longer to cook with, but it did work. If they made a larger one, I’d buy another.

Hello. I recently purchased the biolite campstove 2/snake lamp, along with the kettle pot and French press. I purchased the items because I was THRILLED about NOT having to charge a battery pack at some random location while hiking/thru-hiking, as well as, having about the equal weight of another type of stove/isopropane fuel and battery pack. Upon receiving all the items, I noticed there is a bowl included. Nice.

This is the easiest grill/charger on the market! I have used this 6 times now and absolutely love it. The first time we tried it at the cabin we used sticks. Man we could not keep up with 5he gathering of sticks! Since then we have switched to wood pellets and that cut down on our hunt an gather skills for sticks. Charger charged up beautifully. I would recommend Biolite to all age groups.

After using it several times, I have mixed feelings about it.The design is mostly well thought out but it’s very hard to actually start a fire inside of it even with completely dry-wood. Once you are able to get wood to burn in it, it burns very hot. Plenty hot enough to cook anything with it.It does have a notable downside though. It doesn’t cook for very long (meaning long enough to cook a several step meal) before ashes start to pile up (there’s nowhere for them to go) and put out the fire. If you are planning on making something elaborate, you may need to empty the contents and restart the fire a few times. Which given how hard it can be to actually start a fire in the thing… it’s something to keep in mind.

Had to get this because it just seemed too clever to pass up. And it is really cool, when you get it cranking (a challenge, finding and breaking up enough sticks and pine cones and whatnot and feeding it at the right rate without smothering the fire) it is like a little blast furnace. Be careful where you put your fingers and keep your first aid kit handy! If you like playing with fire (and who doesn’t), and you have plenty of time and energy to mess around gathering fuel, you’ll like this. It’s way too heavy for backpacking, but it does make sense boondocking or car camping or as part of a bugout/survival kit. On our last camping trip (via canoe), was glad to have it along as I did in fact run out of propane on the next to last day, and was able to make rice and coffee and a few other things with it. You can get a nice simmer, or at full blast boil water in no time – my standard cook kit worked fine. It may charge your phone a little, but if that is a real concern I’d rather have a little 12W solar panel in most situations. The included night light was more useful.

this is exactly what I wanted in a small cook stove. Use it almost every weekend on my SXS outings. Because space is a factor in an off road vehicle this does not take up alot of space. I use fireplace pellets and put them in a small container along with some small wood pcs. I had been using a small Coleman propane grill but the cost of the bottles and the size makes the biolite stove the best.

Amazing!!! Going on motorcycle cross-country journeys, the need to have efficient, reliable and compact items is essential. This campstove hits all those marks. Amazing technology and works perfectly. Can’t wait for the next iteration of this product – but this is now my go-to camping essential!
L. Spriggs –
Not what I was expecting. You must fully charge the battery before use and then it doesn’t hold a charge no matter how hot the fire is. I bought this when hurricane Irma came through, the only good use I got from it was it help me make a small pot of hot water for my instant coffee. It did not charge my cell phones.
Mark –
So far has operated as promised. Doing more testing but so far the heat exchanger appears to be recharging the battery. Very cool option to solar.
Jennifer K –

Mystic Nomad –

I have used the biolite stove 2 a few times now and I think it’s great. I have made breakfast and lunch on it one day with out issue. It will power one of my power banks and the power bank will charge my iPhone a few times. It is a camping wood stove and that’s what I use it for and I even used it when we had a power outage for 4 days because of a hurricane. I love it

Amazing little stove, i have many stoves over the years yet they have got this product spot on, very portable and to have heat, power and the ability to cook all in one. I own the earlier version too and the products keep getting better and better.
anon2654 –
Nic jones –
I spend every weekend camping on rangeland and I used it everyday for charging and cooking. It is extremely helpful when out where you have no way of charging a phone or light.
Fred Bauermeister –

Jeff McCrea –

Blue Falcon –

Graham R Tillotson –
I’ve had both the BioLite stoves — the first and second versions — and they are just too much of a hassle. It takes a lot of work and babysitting to keep the flame going, and in colder weather I could not get the battery to charge. I had a blazing fire going for over an hour and the meter just stayed where it was — low to no charge. Then you can get into these weird scenarios in which the flames die down, and you are trying to get it going, but the fan turns off. Just very busy and fickle. I’m going back to the tried and true gas stoves.
Budd –

OregonO’Q –

Jonny_Rogue –
As advertised. I use mine for backpacking although it is on the heavy side. I like the idea of needing to carry any fuel source and also being bale to recharge a phone if necessary. Burns hot and boils a cup of water in under 5 min. Happy with the purchase.

Love this unit! Hardest part is remembering to keep adding sticks. Your phone will charge while you coffee is being made

Does not charge a cell phone at all. Bad product.

This is awesome no more needing to carry fuel canisters or battery packs, I’m a happy camper

This thing works well it can be hard to boil water on you have to have just the right wood to keep it going I actually started using match light charcoal
Nordic Rain –
I love this stove, and I can’t wait to use it more.It is not a ultra lightweight stove, but that is not what I was going for.

Great stove! Filmed this with a Samsung S9+ on a very windy day.

I absolutely love this little stove it is so much fun to operate. With just a few twigs I was able to cook a piece of chicken like I cooked it on a stove. I was able to charge my phone a few percentages and it burned clean no smoke! The led light that came with it was clever use in the dark!

Heavy duty and perfectly engineered. Boils water fast.

Works excellent easy to use love it and will buy another when this quits working

It was a great purchase, used it on a backpacking campout and by being able to burn small sticks and such, I didn’t have to pack in extra fuel, also by being able to recharge phone, it added a safety feature.
Gene & Jen –
Great product! It makes for quick meals while camping. Had a question about an adapter and Dale with their customer service answered me very quickly and hooked me up with the part. Outstanding customer service and a great camping accessory. If your into camping, get one of these stoves.

Great little stove, I received it as a gift. I have used camping a couple of times. It takes a little bit if a trick to get it started but once you have it down it works great.
NiceShine Customer –
Very efficient at creating a fire for food. The battery pack takes almost 2 hours to charge with a roaring flame and then won’t charge an idle phone.

Looks super cool!Haven’t used it yet, but excited to!

NiceShine Customer –
Have this to my hubby for father’s day. He’s has used it already and is impressed. Will be taking it on a trip next weekend to get the full use out of it but so far impressed
Michael –
Went and did an overnight trip with my dog. Cooked a stew, steak and boiled water for coffee. 100% satisfied with this product, can’t wait to use it again. I highly recommend this product if you go camping, fishing, hunting or even hiking.

I absolutely love this piece of kit. So very light and incredibly easy to use. I highly recommend this product to anyone who regularly camps/hikes or goes fishing or hunting for extended periods of time.

Timothy Havner –
I used it camping I do overland, travel trailer and boat camping and it’s fine for those works great. Not sure I’d choose it for backpack camping or hiking were weight and size matter a lot. But over all really cool stove.
The Knight’s –

Ramzy –
Great product. Charges my cell phone will cooking. Easy to light and the fan keeps the fire going at the strength you need it to. Great jobs guys. Good product.
Christian –
I like it chargers it’s self and usb stuff
Kris Rewa –
Small compact and has it bonuses. Easy to cook with fan and charger are nice. Burns wood really fast makes a ton of ash which clogs this little guy super quickly . Good for a quick meal and fast fireTerrible for use more then 30-45minutes. Uograding to a solo stove
Stephen –
wont Go camping without it, learn to use it before camping though can be kinda tricky
David Broido –
Have yet to field test this unit on a camping trip yet, but man, it worked pretty awesome in my back yard!
Susan Schneider –
I got this stove for my son in law who likes to be prepared for any emergency. He seemed to like it a lot. I thought it would be bigger than it was but then I suppose if it was, it wouldn’t be as handy to carry.
NiceShine Customer –
Amazing little machine, creates a lot of heat and fully charges it’s own battery much faster than I expected, this is great for car camping and even backpacking if you like having you’re tech fully charged while out on the trail
David Roark –
Great product, very efficient and easy to use
Jake C –
It creates an insane amount of smoke when starting or shutting down. It gets hot and works, but be prepared to smoke out wherever you are.
Robert Stuber –
The cool factor of this product is amazing. I experimented with it at home and found that very helpful as I over fed it fuel and that was a mistake. But as long as there was any flame, it created electricity for its onboard fan and battery. During the test fire, I also connected a USB cable to charge a battery pack and even with the smallest of flames it kept the fan working while still charging. It made a bit more smoke than I had expected, but it is probably a result of operator area. It is smaller than I had expected and it took a little longer to cook with, but it did work. If they made a larger one, I’d buy another.
MR.ICEBOX –
This thing is AMAZING! I LOVE IT! I HOPE THEY MAKE A BIGGER ONE OF THIS STYLE! Highly recommend this product and the company. Nothing better than sitting down to a little fire and charging your battery at the same time.
Lukey BB –
Very cool product, seams to work as advertised.

It’s a little heavy however it lightens my load by doing several things love it

Nice.
William Peterson –
Works great, burn time is shorter than stated with pellets, but all in all works awesome.
Becky B –

Seamus Boxman –

My son loves this sndcuses it whenever we go camping.
Cat Astrrophic –
These work just like they say. Best camp stove ever.

This is an excellent way to burn your hands. It is also a great thing to bring camping if you won’t have phone service but still want to get mad at technology. If you can’t have a fire and are in dire need of one, I would melting this down and building a waterproof lighter with it.
Colorado Giggle Girl –
I’m going to start out on a positive and keep updating my review. This has got to be one of the most smartly packed items I’ve ever purchased. A+
Mrd470 –
Love this stove. Only bad point, not self igniting

Didn’t work. Didn’t do a thing it was supposed to. Wouldn’t ship to Alaska so when I got home to use it, it was already passed the return deadline and the seller didn’t care. No models left so they couldn’t “replace it”… I said that’s okay, I want a REFUND, not a replacement. Neither were issued. P.O.C. DON’T BUY…

Phone needed charging after our hike up the mountain. Fired it up and phone was charged in no time. Excited that it worked. It also did a quick job boiling our water quickly. Light weight and easy to pack.

this is exactly what I wanted in a small cook stove.
