App doesn’t save settings, tried multiple times and even reinstalled the app. Also tried on my Samsung with the same results. Would not recommend. Does not track sleep or steps well.

IThe ring is wonderfully in the theory but the battery a crap

I really wanted to try it but it’s too small. I’m a big guy and size 12 is the biggest they had but it’s way too small for me. I need a 13 to 13 1/2 half. I would like them to offer rings for those of us that are size challenged;Ha!

Unfortunately, the Helio ring’s green HR light stays constantly lit brightly while sleeping, even pulsing like a strobe, and this may have a counterintuitive effect of actually disturbing your sleep. Other ring sleep trackers only stay lit green about once every minute or less.

I’ve owned Amazfit products on and off over the years, but pretty much have settled on Apple for my smartwatch. Then I discovered this ring. I absolutely love it! It is the perfect compliment to my Apple Watch SE 2. It fills in the data gaps that the Apple Watch is missing (blood oxygen) and gives better HR readings since the Apple Watch only records heart rate every 10 mins and Helio is 5 mins. The ring provides constant data when the watch is charging (which is often). Some reviews complained about battery life, but I just drop it on the charger every morning while getting ready so no problems there. I also love the Zepp Aura program that now comes free for life. I’ve used it while falling asleep and it really work. I also love the sleep insights Aura provides. I wouldn’t pay more than $199 and I saw they had it on sale during Prime Days for $150. At $150 it’s a steal! I love my Helio ring. Make sure you use the measuring guide. You need to get the proper size for it to work.

I had this ring for about 5 weeks. I loved wearing it. It was comfortable and I really like the data I was getting from the app. The app is very good and easy to use. I really appreicate that I didn’t have to subscribe to use their app. Unfortunately, the ring stopped functioning at 5 weeks. The unit would no longer charge and kept throwing an error. I tried to contact the manufacturer but I didn’t receive a response. Luckily, NiceShine agreed to take it back even though it was past the 30 day return window. As a PSA, Amazfit is not affiliated with NiceShine. If you do encounter the need to warranty the product, you will need to work with the Amazfit company in China. I would love to try it again if Amazfit is able to correct their problems.

I really want to love this ring. The app is limited (cant download additional workout activities, such as eliptical etc) also does not sync with other apps like My Fitness Pal etc for nutrition. I already have a Sleep Number bed- so the sleep data is not as useful to me and so essentially it is an expensive pedometer…but replaced a watch so that I can wear my actual watch again.

I purchased the Helio recently to complement my Amazfit T-Rex Ultra. I previously owned the Oura Horizon. The Helio, in my opinion, is far superior to the Oura in that the level of information in the app provides more in-depth statistics and does not require a subscription!

I used the paper strip method to measure finger, but should have measured knuckle. That said, it fits nicely on my right pinky, and seems to give good results, but index finger is recommended for accuracy by mfr. It is the most unobtrusive sleep monitor I have tried, compared to FitBit and SleepOn. The app is pretty good once you learn how to get around in it. Exercise is not detected automatically, you have to use phone app to initiate and terminate the session in the appropriate category. Ring easily charges when I take it off to get wet. It’s a keeper! I like the looks of the watch, but some say it’s sleep monitoring isn’t accurate, so this is just what I needed, since I have Apple watch already.

I have been waiting for the release of the Helio Ring for months, ever since I first saw it announced in the Amazfit newsletter. I knew that ring sizing would be an issue, so I measured and remeasured my finger multiple time to ensure I was getting an accurate measurement to compare against the sizing chart. I was on the very edge of getting a size 12, but eventually decided on a size 10. The size ten is not to be trifled with, but it did fit, despite my fingers swelling just before receiving. I have no complaints about the ring functionality itself and even want to note that they are running a promotion where Helio ring users get access to their premium software feature until the end of 2099. My only complaint is about the software. If the ring runs low on charge, it will send you a notification at 30% and 10%. This is great, but the notifications disappear if the ring fully discharges. This meant that I had a day where I walked around with no idea that my ring was dead until I checked the app at the end of the day.

This had my sleep data all over the place and my Oura is way more accurate. This detected that I got all my deep sleep in the final hour of sleeping instead of the beginning of the night, and my only REM sleep was right when I fell asleep. Yet the Oura (which is known for their accuracy in various sleep studies) indicates most of my REM sleep came toward the end of my sleep cycle, which is more accurately represented of what really happens. Don’t waste your money when they can’t provide accurate data.

I’ve been an Apple Watch guy since the original release. I still have the latest model right now. I do, from time to time, want to track my fitness without the distraction of another screen though. Enter the smart ring. This Amazfit ring has an incredible battery life, though I don’t think it’s quite what’s advertised. In my regular use over the last week, you really need to charge it every 2-3 days, especially if you’re tracking exercise with it. Make sure you properly measure the finger you’re going to wear it on too. I ordered a 12 with a standard size 10 ring finger. It’s a little loose on me, and I wish I had gone one size down instead. It’ll fit great when it’s warm and my fingers are a little swollen, but in the cold of fall and winter it’s VERY loose, and needs to be moved to a larger finger if I’m going to be particularly active. The app is pretty intuitive, and I love the way it tracks information. It helpfully lets you know when the battery is low or fully charged via a notification from the app. If I could add any feature to this ring it would be some way to integrate tap to pay. It doesn’t look like anyone is doing that right now as part of offering a smart ring. Maybe Amazfit can be the first to it?

Sunny Side Up –
This has bipolar tendencies. Several features are great. The sleep measurements and insights are great I like the layout of the app and how simple it is to charge. Where I start to struggle with this is the “exertion” portion. Only cardio is supported, which means you can only measure work you put in that involves distance. I workout with weights 5 days a week where I burn roughly 4-700 calories with a heart rate between 110-150. This ring doesn’t pick it up, but my fitbit watch will without prompting. This could be so much better, and at this price could be better than the competition if it incorporated what the rest do. The ring holds up to deadlifts, roughly 300 reps of weight ranging 200-350lbs. I won’t try to use it beyond 400lbs though, since if it does survive, my finger would not. Haha. Overall I wouldn’t purchase this until the exertion side of things is improved.

I picked up today my Amazfit Helio Ring from ARAMEX and everything is fine, ring box still intact and good shape. The ring is very beautiful exactly to my middle finger, a little bit tight in my index finger that supposed to be the proper finger, but I have already the largest available size and still fine with me. I love the ring, I installed today the Zepp App and I don’t have any health data yet. I would like to thank to NiceShine for refunding me about the missing ring inside the box delivered by NiceShine courier. When I installed the Zepp App and paired my ring, I noticed that I can see the serial number of my ring, it means that if NiceShine know the Serial Number of the missing ring inside the box they can traced the thief because the ring must be pair to the Zepp App.

Works great for heartrate and activity tracking. Tracking my daily walks is nice. It is nice looking and fairly comfortable. Battery life is decent, although you’ll only get a half week at best if you have the O2 tracking on. Only issue I’ve had is the sleep tracking. While it does a good job of tracking light, deep, and REM sleeping, it doesn’t detect that I’ve gone to sleep until hours into my sleep pattern or recording my wake-up time hours earlier than when I actually got up. My usual “score” that it gives after my sleep is always abysmal, even though I usually get 2 to 3 more hours of sleep than it records. Would be nice if there was a way to tell it “I’m going to bed now” rather than it guessing. Still a good purchase, but wouldn’t recommend it if you’re serious about sleep tracking.

The Amazfit Helio Ring has been a great addition to my health and fitness journey, especially for how I track sleep and workout recovery. The ring is lightweight and comfortable, and best of yet, also stylish. I barely notice it when wearing throughout the night and I’ve found the sleep tracking to be very precise, offering valuable insights into my sleep quality and heart rate. The emotion tracking feature is also a great addition to help me better manage my stress. The ring uses the Zepp App to review data and also access tailored music and reports. This is all without subscriptions, which is another great bonus.

I regret this purchase, it seemed like a good idea and I could use it with my watch for added date accuracy, which kind of works. But the battery life is poor, you have to charge the thing about everyday, or at least every other day. It doesn’t fit me that great and there aren’t any sizes available that would fit me better. The data accuracy of it by itself is questionable. When used with the watch it seems to be more accurate than either device on it’s own. So that’s one positive. The device does not offer enough functionality to be worth the money in my opinion.

This watch has a neat concept & simple setup but it just doesn’t fit.

Seemed great until it just stopped recording data. Worked one day, didn’t work the next. Of course it’s too late to return it so a complete waste of money.Product support refers to a product manual — not sure where that’s supposed to be because it didn’t come with the ring.Very disappointing. Don’t buy this ring if you’re considering it.
Chris –
Very disappointed in sizes, also didn’t collect data well at all, I would prefer to return it but don’t know how, and the cost would be ok if it actually did what it said it will do😒

Let me save 13 hours or youtube video and review by saying that go for it.It’s very accurate 10/10 sleep tracking7/10 step tracking9/10 hrv7/10 battery: drains fast when all the features are onAlso it has a mood tracker which is 9/10 times accurate and warns you about your mental health.Look out for size that’s a gamble. If that fits you will get accurate readings.Note: This is a recovery ring not a fitness tracker. The sleep tracker is better than garmins but it doesn’t have a good fitness tracking abilities for that you need to buy amazefit watch which combines both the data and give you accurate results.

I don’t have personal experience to compare the Helio Ring again other ring type fitness trackers but Helio is great for tracking steps and extremely poor at tracking sleep. The data provided on Recovery/Readiness is directly linked to your sleep scores so its incorrect as well. Will update after I try other rings

I know this ring isn’t very popular, but for what it actually provides if your an amazfit user it’s actually worth the cost if you enjoy a lot of the a.i coach features and sleeping features without having to pay the ‘premium’ price. Especially for the lifetime membership to the premium features alone.I usually use mine before bed, I put it on it’s charger when I wake up after syncing before starting my day. I find that it’s decent and reasonable when it comes to tracking.I absolutely love the more ‘balanced’ approach for getting the averages for Sleep tracking. The battery life tends to last about 4 days with ALL FEATURES turned ON.I find the fit comfortable, and it doesn’t fall off when i sleep. Imma be honest, sometimes I forget its on in the morning especially if i’m a bit busy. So it’s nice to know I got a long battery life to bypass that forgetfulness XD.As far as functionality, it does what it needs to do. I love it like I said for the above points. Especially the ‘free premium’ for life thing.. Could you imagine if fitbit offered something like this? Or any of the other’s that actually said ‘buy my ring, unlock everything for free, for life!’.You can’t get better then that, especially with a company that’s so passionate about their products that they literally update at least 5-8x a year from what i’ve been seeing. I fell in love with this company after buying a 35$ Bip 3 watch.. which when all was said and done.. I preferred over my fitbit sense, and the app involved.Since then I have bought a balance, and while waiting for the balance 2, I have actually recommended their products to actual people.. (Something we all know no one ever does.. recommend products unless it’s absolutely worth bringing up. Cause let’s face it ain’t no one gonna be questioning you where you got a sleepers ring, watch etc especially when realistically they all look the same!).

I really wanted to like this ring, but after a couple of months and many attempts at using it I’m left with more questions than answers/data.I charge it overnight, no problems there. I pair it to the app, not super easy, but basically no problems there either.I wear it for a while, then check the app, nothing. No data, no errors, nothing.I’ve read a ton of other reviews, good and bad, watched a load of videos, etc. etc. and still nothing. It’s possible I’m missing a setting or something, but I’m pretty tech savvy, and again, it shows it’s paired/connected, and still nothing. It sits on my desk to remind me to keep trying, but should I have to?

Have had the ring for just over 2 months and it suddenly stopped functioning. Reached out to support and they are responsive and have issues and RMA.BUT – every step of the support process keeps referencing steps for Amazfit watches. Mentioning screens and buttons. Then asking to perform steps without instructions and that did not appear to have a corresponding process in Zepp app (such as factory reset – there is deactivate (which did not reset) and unpair, but no “factory reset”). When asking for further details they just…moved to next step.Pre-RMA approval they again used the term “watch” multiple times. And in the final RMA they asked for it to be returned with the “wristband”.So…hopeful I’ll actually get a replacement but support is not giving me much confidence.

I wear a 10 on my ring finger and the 12 fits fine on my index. The lifetime premium feature that comes with it is pretty nice and provides a lot of information. Will provide update after I work out with it a few times.
NiceShine Customer –
It is very comfortable to wear after a few days of getting used to it. The data seems valid and the interface easy to use, but I have not yet had the chance to compare the data to a medical device— like a sleep study monitor. The battery life, though less than some of the competition is perfectly serviceable at around 4 days. All in all it represents a good value for the capabilities provided.

Really like the Amazfit Helios ring and the Zepp app. Seems to accurately track my sleep without the annoyance of wearing a watch. I wear it on my index finger as recommended and it does take a little getting used to but I’ve worn during weight-lifting, elliptical workouts, yard work, and household chores and projects without issue or scratches which seems to be a major complaint. Nicely tracked heart rate and pace over 3 mile run. Anxious to try in the pool later in the year. The one drawback is that I have to charge it every other day. I do have almost all features enabled and I’m still configuring to optimize and believe I can get to every third day.

This is my first ‘smart’ ring…so I have nothing to compare it to. It seems to work well and track well. Lately I have been missing some readings in the app when I wake up – not sure why…as it is synchronizing. I primarily got it so that I can wear my regular watches out – and the ring. I use my amazfit watch for the gym.I am not fully sure if I will be a permanent smart ring wearer – but I do like having a smartwatch for the gym. I’m an engineer, and I like data, but just not convinced of the value to me (weather this or any other ring).
Juan Larios –
Easy to use, good quality but battery could improve the battery. It runs out of batter really fast
Abhinav –
works good, but sizing is an issue,NOTE : whatever size you think your fingure is buy it 1 size less otherwise it will not fit properly. My fingure size is snug fit 9 and comfortable fit for 10, so i ordered size 10(also used their string method mentioned on website to measure), but the size 10 is closer to size 11 and the ring is really lose and keeps on falling, i am using adjusters to use it
Nate –
1/3 of the cost of its competitors but you quickly realize why that is the case. It’s a good device for tracking basic health. It syncs via Zepp, battery life is decent, it’s comfortable (if you have the right size because my fingers are “too big”) it’s platform agnostic. Zepp app is just not as robust as Oura or Ultra Human ring.
Karen –
Only does sleep monitoring…. Sort of.Sitting to watch TV: ring thinks I am sleeping. Working out: doesn’t track heart rate correctly. On average, it’s way lower than the actual heart rate (I compared it to a heart rate chest strap monitor that is always accurate and costs less than $25).Daily activity: always gets it wrong.Sent in at least 3 support requests for help. NONE answered. Help does not exist. If you want a $180 way to tell you that you are sleeping enough, this is ALMOST a great way to know. All other devices I have used have been more accurate and the companies behind them have at least responded to issues I have reported.Very disappointed.

This was my first Smart Ring. The size is bigger than I intended, I should have ordered size 8 instead of size 10. Size 9 would probably be perfect but that size wasn’t available. I love that the app that goes with the ring requires no monthly subscription, unlike its counterparts. Battery life is good! I am finding also that it charges quickly. As far as markings and scratches, I’m really not worried about that—upon close examination I see some slight scratches but one really has to look.Overall I recommend!
Saul V. –
I am not too knowledgeable about all the tech inside, but it seems like it is accurate on the steps and heart rate. It fit me just a little looser than I expected, even with measuring my ring size, and compared to other rings I have. I mostly liked that the program is completely free with the ring, no subscription, no nothing. Personally, I really like how it looks. The color was more of a “gun-metal grey”.Overall, if you really want a smart ring, this is a decent choice.
Seattle Jeeper –
This ring is great for sleep monitoring. I am not used to wearing any rings, so it felt a bit big at first but now its just normal. I have all the ‘stuff’ switched on and usually get 2 days battery life pretty easily. The app is great, everything ties together with my T-Rex watch. So far I haven’t been able to scratch it up or damage it in any way with day to day use, including weight lifting days.It seems to improve accuracy on the sleep monitoring combined with the watch, but I haven’t tried the ring by itself to test that theory.Overall super pleased with the Helios, the only thing I would like to see changed is maybe offer some different colors and sizes are fairly limited right now. But I would certainly buy again if I lost it.
Boothe –
Overall, this has been a frustrating experience. The don’t make very many sizes so even the largest size (12) only fit my pinky, which is my smallest digit. I have all Amazfit products and wanted to add the ring to my lineup. When it tracks, it does seem to track pretty accurately. But unfortunately, ever since purchasing it, this ring almost never collects and syncs sleep/readiness data. It will sync readiness data for a few days and then just stops working for many weeks or more. I’ve tried resetting, repairing, reactivating, and nothing gets it to work. It also loses bluetooth connection even when right next to my phone. This includes every night. It requires being docked to revive the connection but loses it again when wearing. The battery life is often only one day’s worth. The firmware through the Zepp app won’t update to the latest reported firmware. I was very excited to support this company’s jump into the health ring market but unfortunately it just feels like one of the biggest purchase mistakes I’ve made.
Fitness.Watch.Maven –
The only question after one day is “is this ring accurate?” So far, it appears it is accurate. But otherwise this device is fantastic, with an APP better than Oura and RingConn. Its sleep tracking has been excellent. I am very exicted about this device but only wish it was available in a size 9!
