We recently purchased this 12×12 Alvantor Pop-up Gazeebo/Tent and couldn’t be happier. We literally spent almost the entire summer searching for a Gazeebo/Tent structure for our backyard that would be suitable for our family’s needs, particularly being able to have a summertime dinner with the family as well as doing movie night in the backyard since we had to stop going to movie theaters 6-months ago due to Covid. This literally turned into a major ordeal since every product we ordered was a pain to setup, not stable at all and all had fairly massive breaches that allowed for mosquito entry. My wife had also been more keen on more of a traditional looking gazeebo versus a tent look. However, we were so displeased with all the other products out there that I finally convinced my wife that I had a good feeling about this tent and I sure was right. This tent is terrific!. Once you undo the main strap the entire tent practically pops up into form. Be careful though, it’s got a big kick so stand to the side a bit as you undo that strap because it’s got a powerful spring action kick to it, which is fantastic actually. All that was left was to stand it up and push out the panels. It seriously takes under one minute to pop it up into place…NO JOKE! It’s amazing! It also has only two entry sections, which is smart because it reduces areas that could potentially allow mosquitos in. But this thing is sewn together masterfully. Mosquitos don’t get in, you can hang string lights for decoration if you like. It’s so comfortable to kick back in and watch a movie in the backyard with the kids and the dog all comfortable in the tent. It’s PERFECT! It comes with guy lines for extra support if there’s any wind and it also comes with 8-sandbags that can be used in place of the stakes if you were to set it up on your deck and can’t anchor stakes thru the ground. It’s the best money we invested all summer. We can even throw the tent up over our dining table on our deck in under 2-minutes and enjoy a bug-free meal with family and/or friends. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you, Alvantor!

In our backyard, we have a wildlife habitat, complete with pond, flowers, mature trees, flowers, bird houses and feeders, and wind chimes. We bought gorgeous Lutyen benches to sit outside and enjoy the environment we created and in Delaware, that means about 5 minutes before the mosquitos come. We have sprays and all the anti-mosquito plants, but they find me and boy do they love me, so as a result, we stay inside most summer and fall evenings and enjoy our garden space through a window. Not exactly what I had in mind. People buy these tents for different reasons, and most of them are for temporary set ups – a beach trip, a backyard party or gathering. We wanted a gazebo. Not quite willing yet to pay the $7K to $10K for a proper 12 x 12 octagonal wood gazebo, we wanted to try and see if this might work. It does with some caveats. First of all, it pops out extremely easily and is easier than I thought to put away. I am a photographer and have a few of those collapsible backdrops, you know, the 5 x 7 oval shaped backgrounds, and they are a bear to fold back into place. I have to always have someone help me and after 12 or so attempts we get it in the case. Is this tent the same way? No! Yay! Two try’s and we had it folded. Right now, it is in our backyard shed, waiting to be unveiled for the spring and summer season. Our intent is to leave it up all season. In the photo shown, we kept it up in this position for one month without issue. We purchased the waterproof floor as you can see in the picture. The only issue with using this as a floor, is when it does rain, the water has no where to go. This year, we are looking to put in a 4-6” gravel base, octagon shaped, and possibly use the tarp stretched over top somehow. The top is not waterproof and after a heavy rain, it will seep in. But I knew that. If we had a real gazebo, the water would come in there as well. That is the only thing I wish Alvantor might change, or sell a version that has a top or a top with an overhang. Water will pool at the top after a heavy rain, so it is water resistant. We would go inside with a soft mop and pop it up and all the water would spill out. We are thinking of using the tarp as a top – stretched taut across trees we have, or I have seen some of those triangular sail cloths that people use for shade and rain shelter. The screening is very fine, and it zippers up and down smoothly and easily. There are two zippered entrances opposite one another. Since taking this picture, we’ve installed a stone walkway and we will do something to make the floor more water absorbent. The guy lines work great. We have had some significant winds and the tethers held in place. I also have some of those wrought iron shepherd hooks for hanging baskets, and I might put a couple them up on either side and tie the guy wires around them. In the evening, we’ve added battery operated LED light strings around the top and it becomes an enchanted space in our personalized enchanted forest. I would love it if Alvantor might create a slatted floor – like a poly floor that you could roll out – same size as the floor tarp they sell. That would solve our water problem and I’d be the first customer to buy it!

We bought this tent gazebo as an alternative to spending $30,000 on a permanent screened in porch attached to our home. We just wanted an area to sit and read where we did not have to do battle with the many bugs that seem to come out in the warmer months. Bees, mosquitos, flies are not welcome while we sit outside. This screened tent gazebo was easy to erect on our back deck. We are able to fit two chairs an ottoman and table inside our model which is 10′ by 10′. We might have gone larger, but the width of our deck would not accommodate anything wider than 10′. It’s just the two of us for the most part and there is still plenty of deck left for those that like to be truly outside. So far, we have found the tent to be easy to operate. It’s a tiny hassle to zip every time you go in and out, but when thinking of how much we enjoy sitting in it, it’s fine!Since we decided to put this up on our actual deck and not on grass, it takes a bit more effort to secure the tent from the wind. It comes with 5 ties with bags that you can fill with something heavy like rocks. That was not good enough to keep the tent from collapsing in the wind. So we took the top ties and extended them out as far as we could and also secured them with weights. So far this is working much better. If only there was a way to actually secure the ties into the deck. If you were placing it on grass, it comes with stakes so you can drive them into the ground for a secure fit. We love sitting in the tent to read or just relax. You feel as if you’re outside, yet are protected from insects and also too much sun since the top does shield some of the rays.I would recommend this product and am looking forward to enjoying it on many nice days with the warmer weather now here.

So far, so good. We found this screen house very easy to transport and assemble. It’s lightweight, but has good tensile strength once erected and tied down. You will definitely want to use the stakes provided to keep it from tipping over or blowing away in windy conditions, and I recommend using the sandbags included. We actually put bricks rather than sand into ours, and they’ve worked just fine. We’ve had a couple of heavy rain and light wind storms since putting it up in our yard a couple of weeks ago, and it has withstood all fairly well. At a few points, the sides and top have dropped inward during periods of rain, but they have sprung back when dry each time.If you’re trying to decide between two sizes and wondering if a smaller size will provide you with the room you want inside, go with the larger size. We were a little disappointed to discover that the 10 ft. diameter version only accomodations three people rather than the 4 – 6 indicated in the description. The reason for this is the slope of the side walls prevents you from pushing chairs back very far without risking a tear in the mesh. We wound up sitting in a rather tight circle with a couple of feet of floor space behind each chair.I can’t really rate ease of folding, because we’ve left it up since assembling it two weeks ago. I’m guessing it will be fairly easy since it popped into place so easily going up and is easy to figure out even without the instructions. For the money, I’d say this is a pretty good buy.

first off, this pop up is well made. I was impressed with the manufacturing of it. It looks really nice and truly is manufactured to the best. Attention was given to the details and it is sewn very well. I think it would last many seasons. If I could afford to replace it with the 15X15 or even the 12X12 I would buy it again. Pandemic prevents that additional purchase. I just want you to use care, be aware of the difference in size due to shape, and know it is well made. Also know that we have had a day or two to check this out .. 🙂 I really like that the screen is small, very small holes and this allows for limited viewing of the screen. You feel like there is not screen surrounding it. You really do feel like you are in the outdoors. It does not interfere with your view. We did get the side covers. I am feeling the 12×12 or 15X15 would of been better for us but that is our mistake. If you are replacing a square tent- remember that the square tent will offer more room, due to the shape of the tent. HOWEVER, this tent rules in the fact that this design bears up much better with windy conditions. We just had some really windy days and this tent did not budge or collapse. This tent is just to convenient not to buy it .”Take it out of the box. Sit it down in the location you want it and pop it up” Done. Eliminates all that hassle of set up. I will keep you informed on how this item works out for us. Right now I would rate it 4 out of 5. Would I buy it again? Yes, only a bigger one 🙂 as I really wanted that extra room in it. Really need to be aware …this tent will feel smaller and have less usable space due to it’s shape. BUY BIGGER. Also the screening rules. It is made so you truly can barely see it when looking through it. Very strong. The only drawback on this tent for us is we did not order the correct size. THIS WAS OUR FAULT. But this tent. It really is worth the money. So much less hassle, looks great, well made, sturdy…you name it and this tent provides it. Update: we live in the NE. Now is the time to take down and secure things outside. This was so easy to fold up and put away. Could not be simplier!! This baby restood so realy challenging rains and storms this year. No damage, no blowovers, not a tear in the screen. This was one of my best buys ever. Wish they had trade ins as the only complaint I have weighs on me. I got one too small for comfort, for us. I like to put chairs, at least two, preferrably 3, two small tables and some plants inside of our gazebo. It is a squeeze to do it with the 10X10. Keep in mind with the design of it you do need a larger one if you want to do as I do. We can not afford to buy another one. If we could I would. It truly is that great of a product. Buy it, have an enjoyable summer knowing that you will not find tipped over or ripped by the weather. I could go on and on but I will not 🙂 I just feel very strongly this is one of the best outside rooms made. That is all, folks.

UPDATE: Added a short video to show how it handles heavy rain. As you can see, water collects on the roof until there is enough weights to drain itself. Then the tent resets itself. We purchased this pop-up screen so we could enjoy our backyard pond without the threat of those pesky mosquitos. We also live near the beach and thought itmight be handy to have there as well. The tent is very easy to set-up – basically just take it out of the carry bag and stand back! It practically opens itself. One person can set it up, but it is definitely easier to have a second person, especially for the larger tents. And you will need a hand folding it back up to put it away in the carry bag.The build quality is good, but keep in mind it is not meant to serve as a permanent structure. If you leave it out all summer, the sun, wind, and rain will likely take it’s toll. And that would the case with any tent or screen tent. They simply are not meant to be permanent structures. But, since it is so quick and easy to set up and take down, it is no problem to take down and store it when you are not using it. I just would not recommend leaving out all summer long in the elements if you want to be able to use it for the seasons to come.It is lightwieght, so you will want to use all the tie-down ropes. These will add stablity if the wind picks up. We left it out in a really stong thunderstorm and of course it buckled and collapsed as the wind blew. But as soon as the wind died down it just popped back up into shape. Water will accumulate on the top of the tent, also causing it to eventually collapse from the wieight of the water. But again – as soon as it that happens, the water just drains off and it pops right back up into shape. You can see this in some of the videos posted by other reviewers. I don’t see this as a problem since you would not want to be out in it during a storm anyway.Bottom line: if you are looking a simple, effective, low-cost solution to being able to enjoy being outdoors without pesky bugs, we can recommend this tent. Just keep in mind this is meant to be a quick and easy screen tent for when and where you need it, not a permanent structure.

I live in Southern California and the last couple years the mosquitoes have been terrible. During Covid lockdown, we REALLY wanted to enjoy our backyard. But last summer (2020), the biters were worse than ever. Side note: To the bugs, apparently I am DELICIOUS. It seems like a new breed of mosquito has emerged – the ankle biter. Those little jerks don’t just bite at dusk and dawn…they feast all day long and you don’t even see them because they are hunting near ground level, and it doesn’t matter if you have pants or socks covering you up —they will still bite you.So we figured we would give this screened tent a try. Success!!This tent pops into form easily and has sand bags and tie downs for stability. I only use the sand bags because it’s on a paved patio.I sit in there and the darn pests will land on the outside of the screen near my head, but they can’t bite me. It’s a win for the humans!Anyway, the mesh is so fine that it’s nearly clear to look out into our yard. It does minimize the breeze a little so if you are in it while it’s still warm outside, you will feel it. But when it gets a little brisk in the early evening, it’s PERFECT.DOUBLE ZIPPERS help seal it up and they are on two opposite panels. The sand bags help keep it from moving if it’s breezy. One caveat: it is water resistant, not waterproof. So it needs to be disassembled if it’s gonna rain. But, folding it up is a breeze and this should not deter you from getting this.At this price point, I rationalized that if I can enjoy the summer without all the bites – it’s totally worth it!UPDATE: this tent has been terrific for keeping the bugs away in a space where yard sprays and a bug zapper really didn’t work at all. I ran an extension cord under the edge of the tent (under the sand bag to prevent any gaps) and put a small oscillating fan on a table. It made it 100% more comfortable during the warmer parts of the day. And the shape can be altered slightly from an octagon to more of a rectangle to accommodate chairs and tables inside. I wish it was just a little bigger for our needs, but overall, this thing is terrific.

Well let me say first off my #1 concern was how difficult it would be to take back down and get into that carrying case… I figured it would take me 30 minutes to figure it out… but honestly 1st time without even really looking at instructions it took me like 5 min… the next time 30 seconds… You just have all the stakes out of ground, and the door zipped closed, push it back into itself… fold the left and right closed over the door and twist into figure 8 and voila… you are ready to strap it and put it in the bag… (Way EZ Shockingly)….QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY… This thing is built extremely well from the mesh (extremely high quality nice tight micro fiber that definitely looks military grade and i think would keep out noseeums which is saying something)… the zippers and connecting materials are solid and do not feel flimsy… It comes with ground stakes and sand bags…. and a nice carry case for the stakes as well as a nice carrying case for the entire screenhouse… The only minor minor minor wish is there aren’t enough stakes to leverage all the tie down points and ropes on the screen house. (That’s ok i just added some)…. You have i think 7 stake/sand bag points on the base and then another 4 or so upper tight lines for windy situations… Which is fantastic just wish they threw in a few more stakes to leverage them all.The specs say 22 lbs… but it sure doesn’t feel like 22lbs.

Love this. It is so easy to put up and to put down. Though it has some weight to it when carried, it isn’t so much that I can’t carry with one hand. It comes with one tiny little patch fix, probably worthless. Plenty of stakes and bags for sand. I am not using sand bags but it does come with them (no sand). It has tie downs as well on outside. Plastic hooks for the shade screens. Obviously it is not waterproof, it isn’t made to be. I mainly purchased it for weekend outdoors for my dogs and me so I also purchased the shades screens. Now seeing them, lete tell you that if you have an old sheet and hair elastics, you can easily creat your own shade screen. Is it bug proof….not 100%. Bugs will fly in when people leave and come back in. Plus I place this over grass which bugs come out from or they wiggle under the frame through the grass blades. I don’t fault the product because it does cut down the biting flies and mosquitoes so much that I can avoid using that nasty bug spray while reading a book.I will probably either purchase their ground tarp or see what Walmart has in-store to help further limiting bugs.Oh, pincher bugs love to hang around this pop up screen tent as well. They love the bottom folds of the tent and the sides where the screens are connected.I would and have recommended this to others.

Got the 10×10. Simple to set up. The provided stakes are junk. Replace these, especially if you plan to drive into hard dirt. Included stakes will probably be fine on softer soils. Zipper action is a little tough if you don’t brace the tent a bit so one handed operation is tougher. Wasn’t a strongest, but being that it is foldable like a windshield sunshade, I expected this. Its a bit floppy if you don’t stake it down. Haven’t tried sandbags. My only complaint is that I’d like to be able to fold it as small as it came. I’m guessing they had it twisted twice to form 3 loops. Might need 2 people to accomplish this. I had to put the back seat down to fit it in my car, which means I can take this if I have passengers in the rear. Makes packing the car for a camping trip a bit tougher as well as it goes in last so I have to leave room on top. I actually bought this one for my mom, but she had me try it out first. 10×10 gets around a standard picnic table, but with only a small amount of room to walk. I may get the 12×12 for myself in the future though packing it may be even more challenging. Both are likely to be easier to back then a typical EX-up though. This product brought a lot of compliments at the campsite for its apparent simplicity.

I have used this in strong winds (30 mph gusts) in a beach setting and in wooded hill country area. Both times I had heavy rain and winds. Obviously it doesn’t keep out rain but it’s not intended to. For the wind, it is extremely important to properly anchor all guy lines to sturdy stakes. I did not use the included stakes, rather, I used some heavy duty ones I had for sand use. It comes with several sandbags for anchoring which I did use. Yes, the wind did blow the sides down and rain concave the roof as it puddled. But, it popped right back into place. The most impressive thing for me was that wind did not rip the tabs of the shelter. If you have camped in high winds, you’ll know that struggle. Again, I think that was due to properly using ALL of the guy lines. You can YouTube how to properly secure guy wires to stakes and the associated knots. I also purchased the side panels. I was not impressed with those because they only loosely attach to the sides. In the wind, they easily detach and do not lay flush with the sides. I purchased the floor tarp but haven’t used it yet. Just as a reminder, if it does get wet, be sure to air it out when you get home so it doesn’t mildew. It’s easy to pop up and easy to fold down even in wind doing it by myself. I purchased the 10×10 and it fits over the typical park table with some room to move around.

It’s a shame cuz they have a great product here. But I have gotten a hold of them with a picture to show them what happened to my screen house. All they said is “They have received my email.” I have only had it for less than a year. It stood up to the winds here pretty well and we get some very strong winds, BUT if it snows along with the wind, the weight of the snow will collapse the tent while the winds tear it apart. So I wasn’t sure about the warranty on this. I do know If they would help me out with a replacement, I would definitely take it in during the winter months. I use this solely for my daughter’s Hot Tub with (Downs Syndrome and non-verbal autism) to keep the flying insects out like bees and wasps. It has worked well for that purpose. So I was hoping they would stand behind their product much better. At least answer my emails?! So that is the disappointing thing about my purchase. It was a pretty expensive tent for only 9 months of use then becomes a disposable tent. I can’t afford to buy one every year so I’ll have to find one that holds up much better than this one.

I bought a 10 person screen house. I had expected this to come with poles and require a bit of set up, but it’s all one piece. You open it up and it basically pops itself into shape. I set it up by myself, and it was really simple. Once it was open, it was easy to move around and set in the perfect spot. The top is enough to provide a little shade depending on the sun’s location, but not so full that you can’t see the sky while sitting inside. It folds up nicely just be sure to look at the directions at least one before trying or you’ll look silly twisting all around in your yard. I use it both in my yard, and to bring with me to various outdoor events so I can be bug free while camping. It stores flat which is helpful for traveling.I haven’t used it in the rain, but with a pole in the middle I imagine it would be fairly sturdy. Be sure to have the screen house securely staked or use the sand bags, as a strong gust could flip the house. It’s not the most durable item ever, but you aren’t paying $200 here either. This is a good price for the product, and customer service is very responsive. Email the company when your product arrives and you’ll get a 1 year warranty. I would purchase from this company again!

I have only used this screen room a couple times, but I am rather impressed. For starters, it is by far the easiest setup of any screen room i have ever had – and i’ve had several. I would concur with the included warning to be careful when you untie the ties that hold it folded, it does pop open rather forcefully. 🙂 The quality seems very good, the screen itself is a tight weave, and importantly, the flaps on the bottom ensure that the walls are not so high off the ground as to allow sneaky bugs in at the bottom, which is the case with every other one i’ve had. Also the sand bags provided to hold down those flaps are an excellent addition! And the stakes provided are heavy duty compared to the ones provided with the other screen rooms I have had.Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and I would recommend it highly. Well done, Alvantor.EDIT:the screen room is advertised as “not waterproof”, which means you don’t want to sit in it while it is raining. however, its construction makes it necessary to actually take it down in the rain, as the middle of the top is completely unsupported and water pools there quickly, weighing it down and affecting the shape of the structure and threatening to collapse it and possibly ruin the supporting wall loops. this becomes a bit of a pain when you have staked and lashed it down well against the wind, and used the sandbags to seal the bottom – especially if the weather often alternates between rain and sun. what i did to alleviate this is i created a padded-on-the-top post right in the middle, that holds the center of the top up higher than the rest, allowing rain to easily slide down the sides. being VERY careful to pad the post well, so as not to puncture or otherwise damage the fabric on top. it has worked very well for me, i just leave it out in the rain, and when it stops, i can go right in the screen room.

Let me say that this is one of the worst years for mosquitos, but we are safe from them with this tent. Love the easy set-up, and the brilliant design. We have the 12’x12’ so doors on both sides are convenient. We’ve set this up on top of an outdoor rug on our 14” 8-sided deck (on the ground) so it’s a perfect match for the size and shape. Secured all bottom cords with screw eyes under the edge of the deck. Most top cords are attached to a medium shade tree over the area. We plan to leave this set up all summer, so are looking for a way to raise the center enough to stop rain water from collecting, when rain is expected. We filled zip-lock freezer bags with sand and put those into the drawstring bags that came with the tent, for extra stability and to cover the corner slits. Perfect. Love that we don’t have the patio umbrella (dark and cave-like, and don’t have to look at a pole when looking across the table. We’re going to spend LOTS of time in this!

We ordered this to use on our deck when it is buggy outside. We didn’t want something that we had to have up all of the time. We only have a few weeks when the flies or mosquitoes are so bad that it is not enjoyable to be outside. So far this is perfect. It is very easy to set up and easy to take down. It only takes a few minutes both ways. It stores in a small space. You do need to be careful when you expand it initially, as it is under a lot of pressure to fit in the shipping box. They warn you about this and they are not kidding. It stores a bit bigger than the box and so this isn’t an issue after the first time you set it up.Our previous screen house was cumbersome and was not easy to take down. We basically had to leave it up during the summer. It did not hold up very well, because it had to be out in stormy weather. We will likely take this one down prior to stormy weather. We are hoping that we get many seasons of use out the Aventore.7/6/2023 – We figured out we can easily move it over our hot tub, making it even more useful.

I read lots of reviews before purchasing this. Here it is in a nutshell. It’s a pop up screened in gazebo style tent. It doesn’t have a floor. It’s not waterproof so take down if rain is expected. It opens and closes by carefully twisting the flaps/sides. It reminds me of the pop up sun screens for your car dashboard. Be careful when your open as it will quickly “pop open” once you open it up a little. Closing can be intimidating…they made a video showing how to do it, so watch it before you need to do it. If you try to do it in a hurry (incoming storm) it might not go well. It comes with metal stakes for the tie down lines and pouches you can fill with sand for additional weight/stability. It’s lightweight which is great as one person can easily move it around. It also means that wind can quickly pick it up and move it to so make sure to wait it down or use the tiedowns. I put mine on my deck with a rug underneath to help keep bugs out. It’s not 100% bug proof, but when set up correctly with an outdoor rug or other protection it works really well on keeping the kritters out. It also co es with a storage pouch w/ handles for carrying. Yes, the pouch is a little large, but I prefer that vs. struggling to get it back into the bag!I purchased a 10’x10’ and have only used it once, but already am thrilled with my purchase! Because of the octagon shape and the dome of the top, the sides will be a factor when putting items inside. I was able to get my loveseat, side chair, small table and a fan in mine. I added my echo dot to listen to music. If you take the time to learn how to open and close it, I think you will really enjoy it. I’m looking forward to getting back out into mine.

I wish we had known about this remarkably easy to erect screen tent before we paid twice as much for one that is far more awkward to erect and to take down. We purchased this Alvantor screen tent to take camping with us. For the past couple of summers we had been using another brand at home. The brand X version was advertised as taking 5 minutes to erect. It too 2 adults more than an hour. The directions that came with Brand X were obviously a very poor translation from an unknown other language. Because they were in part unintelligible, we contacted the company for help. There was absolutely no way to get to speak with an actual live human being. and we finally gave up. We ended up gerry rigging the expensive screen tent as best we could, not wanting to just trash this expensive product. Before purchasing the Alvantor screen tent we read all of the reviews and watched the explanatory video several times to be certain that we were not going tto fall into the same trap a second time. It has now arrived and we are delighted. This screen tent took literally less tha 5 minutes to erect, plus a few more to secure. It too about the same amount of time to fold back up and return to its carrying case. It is also far more light weight that our more expensive unsatisfactory model. We are eagerly awaiting our next camping trip so we can put our new Alvantor tent to use.

We have tried other “pop up” tents and the first person with the ugly face is my wife. Oh no here we go again, he’s going to yell because I’m not strong enough. Guys we have all heard it before. What we want is ease and to keep your partner happy. From the very first time opening this tent I could tell we just scored a huge success. From the ease of opening to closing, time just flys by. More time is spent thinking where to put it then actually putting it up.Now the bad….It’s expensive, buy once cry once. Take it from a person who has tried several tents. It’s worth it.The first time you open it.. BE CAREFUL the load it up good. Look at the bag that comes with it. You will understand later why it’s so big.We got the 15 x 15 and it’s heavy. Not bad but big, awkward and heavy. I don’t mind it but smaller people might have some problems. You will need to stake the entire tent down. This is around the sides and the guy ropes, there are a lot of them. Just take ur time and knock them out shelter is almost complete. The last thing is putting it away. Remember earlier that big bag, that’s about all one person can fold this thing. I have no problem getting it to the final step. That last fold. I feel like I’m going to break it. It has to fold a certain way. After several attempts it will just fold correctly. Then you look around and see that you forgot to grab that strap that goes around it.All kidding aside this is a great investment for your home, office, RV or beach.

For several years I could not enjoy my backyard/patio because the bugs in my region of the US are unbearable. They can easily ruin a good time outdoors. For this reason, I gave up on enjoying my space. This year I decided I am determined to enjoy the beautiful spring, summer, and autumn days outside in peace. I hired a contractor to build me a screened in she shed for $6K. One day while scrolling I found this item and all the positive reviews. What convinced me to purchase are: 1. The ease in which it can be erected (because there is no assembly….it just pops open. 2. The various size options. I purchased the 10X10 and its perfect for my space. I can comfortable fit two full size lounge chairs in it. 3. The price point in comparison to others (that require assembly). 4. It actually keeps the bugs out (yay). 5. The ease in which it can be taken down and stored (very compact when folded). 6. One person can put it up and take it down. 7. It is portable so I can move it to a different location in the yard if I choose. Additionally, It also comes with sandbags but i chose to anchor mine (on concrete) with 12 bricks that I purchased from my big box store.

Super quick and easy set up. I was not bothered by the shipping extra twisted assembly, and actually managed to pack it away again with that optional factory twist. It does open with some force when stored that way, but with warning/awareness it is manageable. I only wish the storage bag had a compact option. The bag is quite large when it is stored extra collapsed. I also liked the included adjustable strap to bind the folded/twisted up structure.I didn’t bother with staking it out, as the weather was calm. It was a great space to hang out with my wife while camping. Plenty of room for lounge chairs, a cooler and a small table. Could probably have fit one more person, but four would have been tight. One of the standout features was the zipper and pulls. They were very smooth and easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised every time how easily I was able to open and close the door.We did get some rain while we were out which pooled in the roof panel. It was simple enough to clear off, bending the wall poles a bit. As expected, the items inside were rather wet. Not a fault, as that isn’t it’s purpose but more a warning. It dried out quickly once the sun came back out.Very happy with the purchase so far.

I use these tents for an unusual purpose: as a paint tent to keep flying insects out of the paint after I airbrush large props. I set up my paint stand in the center of the tent and pass my air compressor’s hose under the edge, and then thanks to the round shape of the tent I have free movement to go all of the way around without having to squeeze through tight spots. It’s perfect! Since the tents are standing out in the sun and rain all year round and the paint overspray from my airbrush tends to gradually clog up the screen over time, the average lifespan has been about 14 months for each tent. The screens have never torn and the stitching has never given way, not even when a large branch fell on the side of my tent and collapsed one side of it inwards. I pulled off the branch, and the tent simply popped back into place. The one element I’ve seen wear out is the zippers because I open and close them A LOT. I have learned that the zippers will last longer if I pull the side of the tent toward the door opening as I zip it up so that the zipper is not having to work against the pull of the tent’s bubbled-out shape. I did invest in larger rebar tent stakes that I use to hold the tents in place during stormy weather or high winds, and I do tend to collapse one side of the tent on purpose by pressing it inward during rainy weather to keep the rain from pooling on the roof. (If I forget to do so, once enough rain weight collects on the roof it will cause one side of the tent to dip down and the rain will drain by itself, but I figure it’s better to be preemptive about it.) I’ve purchased four of these tents so far, and each one has been excellent quality. Each time I wear out a zipper or clog up the screens with paint overspray, I will happily get another knowing that it will work well for a lot of use.

When we bought our travel trailer, the dealer wanted to sell us an awning for over $2K. But, probably one of the most prevalent issues with awnings is wind damage. Upon wind damage, not only are you out the $$$ for the awning, but you also have the cost of repairing any damage to your RV. Plus, the awning doesn’t keep the bugs off of you. When we found this, we went SHAZAM! Not only can I buy more than 12 of these for the price the RV dealer wanted to sell us an awning for, but it also keeps bugs off of us.It’s extremely easy to set up, and if you’re familiar with folding up popup deer blinds, this thing is also very easy to fold back up. It comes with its own storage bag, and has places to attach weights (sandbags, perhaps) to help stabilize it in the wind. The screen tent is relatively lightweight … definitely a LOT less weight than an awning attached to our RV. We found the construction of the screen tent to be very good, and it has held up well. I do recommend setting it up and putting it away once or twice before you actually use it, just to familiarize yourself with it.

We just took it down for the season. It was much easier to do than I expected. It folded up nicely and back into the bag to store for the winter. We were actually able to enjoy our new patio furniture this summer without getting devoured by mosquitoes. Los Angeles has a huge mosquito problem now, and they are so tiny you can barely see them.We got the 12×12, and it was perfect for two chairs, a loveseat, and our little fireplace! Not one bite. I chose this one because of the reviews of this one versus the other tents online. I can tell Alvantor has much better zippers, which is important because if the zipper breaks, it’s useless, right? I was willing to pay a little more for something I can use far longer. My only regret is not buying it sooner, but now I’m looking forward to next spring!(Edited to say I just went back and read the one-star reviews and I find it hard to believe it’s the same tent. We have had NO problems with it. Setting up was so simple, it basically popped itself up. And we had it up on some windy days (not huge gusts, but maybe 8-10 mph) and used bricks to tie down the strings since it’s on a cement patio. Not a problem at all. And it seems really well made to me.)

I was looking specifically for something that I could take camping (car camping / RV) that would allow us to sit outside and relax and not be consumed by blood sucking mosquitoes or other interlopers of the inset variety. I didn’t want to lug a ton of weight and I didn’t want something too bulky – there’s never enough room when packing. This thing is amazing, and seriously, after a lifetime of camping, where has this been> We actually opened and used it on our deck a couple of times. It is easy to open – tip, it helps to have clear space when opening it. Also, be aware, as several people have mentioned, the first time you open it you might get a surprise because it literally pops open and if you’re not ready it will catch you off guard. Closing it is easy. If you’ve ever used the sun shades for your car or a collapsible laundry basket that you lay flat and then twist … exactly the same concept. No poles to deal with. It is very sturdy – listen, it’s not intended for rain coverage nor is it for big wind, but it’s great and very effective. I could not be more pleased.

I like this tent but had to return it because it didn’t really do what I wanted it to do, which was provided a space to go in when it’s raining or windy, or mosquitoes are attacking you. It great for almost all of those things!!●Takes 1 person to set up●Easily pops and unfolds open (be careful upon first opening).●STAYS UP!! I only had the bottom stakes in the ground and that sucker didn’t move an inch during a 5 day storm. I was impressed 👌 👏.Flaw:●You need those wind tarps that tie in front of the mesh in its raining or windy. I thought they were supposed to come with the tent, but they didn’t. If its raining, you will get soaked!! If its windy, you will get chilly. It’s really a bougie tent to block out bugs, but again, it’s surprisingly sturdy.

I came here to say that this thing is great. We bought this 4 years ago to take with us in our camper, and set up at campsites to have a bug-free place to go to. I looked at other structures that were heavy and took a long time to set up, and were bulky to store. Not this! This thing sets up in about 30 seconds, is lightweight and stores flat. Quality is really good – even with dogs around, they haven’t managed to put holes in it. I was also happy to find that it can be opened part way if there’s not enough room to open it fully, and it still works (we have the 10×10 version). Love that it breaks down easily – takes only a minute to fold up and put away. Surprisingly good quality product that has lasted several years so far.

I couldn’t wait to receive this item after reading all the great reviews. This will be a wonderful addition to enjoying my back yard on Sumer nights. I must say however, mine came out of the box with a very fishy smell. After getting it out and taking it out the carry bag, I discovered the smell was coming from just the bag, so I threw it in my machine and gave it a quick wash with some Odoban and fabric softener. I hung it on my deck in the sun to dry, and now its fine. I got the 12×12 size, so it will be more than roomy enough for myself and a couple of other people. Will update my review in a few weeks after I’ve had the chance to use it a handful of times.

I’ve had this for over a year and it’s been great. So easy to put up and take down myself. I have a bad back and I don’t want a big project just to put something up.This is very simple and gets easier everytime I use it.We just went camping and the pop-up tent became our gameroom outside and worked great to keep the mosquitos away.Like I said, it’s been over a year of use and no rips tears or holes. The zipper is still great and smooth. I do keep it in it’s case when not in use and I haven’t left it in the sun or rain ever.We haven’t used it for shade, mainly for bug protection at night but also just for a cool hang out.We had 6 of the typical folding camping chairs around a small folding camping table, the table is probably about a little over 2 foot diameter, round table. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for getting in and out but during a game of cards around the table it was perfect.I did need to use the stakes to hold it down because we had some gusts of wind. They worked great we had no issues. It wasn’t a major problem, it was just scooting a little bit but to avoid a bigger problem later we just wanted to stake it down.We used a telescoping flashlight aimed up at the roof for lighting and some small lights outside for decoration. It was the focal point of the night.I didn’t get too many good pictures as I was in the tent most of the time but I grabbed one picture during a break and you can see an idea of our set up. It was 4 adults and 2 teens.I’m happy with this and my only regret was not getting a bigger size for more room for fun BUT I’m fine with this size and weight and might even upgrade to a larger size in the future.

I was dreading having to set up this tent…. Wow!!! It was so easy! Delivered on time, Friday afternoon, I decided to start setting it up in back yard for use this weekend. I opened the box and untied the tent, looking for poles, etc. … not needed!!!It practically literally set itself up… good thing, because 15 minutes later the sky went dark and within another five minutes it dropped half of the water from the Gulf of Mexico (ok, slight exaggeration).Anyway, it was fully ready after I used the sand bags (empty) that were supplied. I had plenty of rocks to put in bags so it well stood up to the heavy rain & wind. I’ll buy sand later.Still, best part was how easy it literally set itself up. We expect it to be used a lot in our back yard… we live in an area with a lot of mosquitoes and the zipper screen door really helps. The instructions for storing are so easy to understand. This is a great product… especially for us folks over 70. 😊

The 12 x 12 fits perfectly on our deck. Our L-shaped furniture fits perfectly inside with table. if the wind is blowing, you can feel a nice breeze while you’re inside. The most exceptional pleasure is being able to relax with no bugs bothering you. eating inside and taking a nap just became more relaxing while you’re inside this tent. The only con I can think of is you really need two people setting it up over the furniture. We’ve only had it for a couple of weeks so we can’t comment on durability. We decided to purchase the shade curtains for a little extra privacy. What a great decision because they really give you that extra privacy and they are easy to connect to the hooks. be aware when you are opening it. The tent pops out quite suddenly. make sure you’re opening it in an open space to prevent damage to the tent or your surroundings.

I am using this product for rear porch, like a pseudo-screened porch. The setup is extremely simple. The product is superb. The 10 feet by 10 feet size is very good for my purposes. I read ahead in other reviews that more than 50 pounds of sand is needed for the sandbags, and this is so. For the 12 guylines, if not using the provided stakes (e.g., using the gazebo entirely on pavement), then when ordering sand plan on enough for sandbags for the 12 guylines. The telescoping pole has worked very well with rain. The instructions with the pole were very clear. I practiced once before in the gazebo, and it’s clear to rotate the poles. I recommend that others not be concerned about the telescoping pole not working, current (July 2024) instructions are easy to follow, taking a few seconds to learn.

I was thrilled with my purchase ! Needed a screen tent to set up a small picnic for four people without mosquitos . I set it up all by myself ( I’m 70 ). I did read instructions and other reviews that warned of a sudden expansion of the tent , so was careful when taking off the fabric wrapping strap . The thing popped open flat , and then I was able to erect it easily panel by panel and straighten it out, move it to where I wanted it . I did not need to use sand bags or tent pegs included because it was a windless day, but the compact enclosure included all that stuff! Great ! I bought the 10×10 and was able to comfortably fit a table, and four camping chairs .We had plenty of room to sit and enjoy a picnic . The zippers was fine . The mesh kept out the bugs . Well made for its purpose as a light weight screen shelter . I was able to take the tent down on my own, but needed help to twist and hold it , in order to get it back in the amply sized zip bag . Super pleased with this handy tent which we shall be taking to the beach next time! Highly recommend .

I have been waiting to get a tent as I love feeling the fresh air and breeze of outdoors but HATE the bugs who live there. Coming from someone who walks around with a bug net over my head, I am in love with tent!! I got the 10×10 and as you can see in one pic, I was easily able to fit 5 chairs in there, PLUS a blanket in the middle. I’m a small short girl, opening and closing this is super duper easy, I am able to do it all alone with no help needed. When closed inside the bag, it is a pretty good sized circle so putting it in the car, it does need to stay flat in a pretty spacious trunk. Small cars or no trunk space, you have struggle traveling with this. Other than that, I am taking this thing any and everywhere! Literally no bugs come in (unless you leave the zipper open so be sure to open and close getting in and out). As an optional tip I would suggest some type of portable fan to put in there with you as the air flow obviously is a little restricted so it can run a tad bit hotter in the tent than out. 10/10 worth the purchase

I bought this tent for the beach, night time yoga in my backyard and for track and xc meets. As a single mom with 3 boys I need something I can set up and take down on my own. This tent is perfect. At the beach I used the sand bags to keep it from blowing away and it didn’t move an inch. It took about 10 min to set up but then we had shade the entire day without worrying about the position of the sun.At night it is a quick set up so I can do yoga without being attacked by bugs. It takes minutes to set up and take down!! I’m so happy with my purchase!I have yet to use it for a track or xc meet but hopefully it will be just as useful.

We bought the 12’x12′ screen house to provide a sanctuary on our deck to enjoy without the bugs. Set up was quick and easy and we were able to use the included ropes to secure it to our deck. We bought the Alvantor heavy duty tarp as well for flooring so that the bugs are completely sealed off. We do need to get the telescoping pole as heavier rain can cause the roof to cave in; hoping the pole will allow the rain to flow off better. With gusty winds, the sections can collapse a bit but they pop back out easily; the key is just to make sure you have it tied down so that it can’t move too much. Screen house has two areas for access and it’s easy to get in and out. We are looking forward to enjoying this screen house the rest of summer and fall!

Like the ease of putting this thing up and taking it down. Useful carrying case. Great instructions attached in the case. The downside and suggestion is to make the top in different shape or something so every time it rains water doesn’t accumulate and drains off it.

It’s a decent screen house. It was easy to set up, and easy to make the one twist for fold down. That part is easier with 2 people. However, all the photos in the top description show the 10″ model as having two doors. Mine did not. I noticed later way down the page it says only one door now, but some that ship might have 2. I ordered this specifically because of 2 doors. I returned it, in the original box. How did I manage that? Well another reviewer here mentioned it’s possible, that you have to make the figure 8 fold, and then push each large circle of the figure 8 into another figure 8. No other detials on how to accomplish it. That is where it is more difficult. You need at least two decently strong and coordinated people. My son and I managed it after 4 tries. Lay the figure 8 flat on the ground (I put it on a sheet to keep it clean) and one person needs to kneel on the X in the center, and the other knee is needed to hold down one end of the figure 8. The other person needs to lift the end of the other big circle up to a right angle. And then press with all your strength right in the top center of the metal ring down to the ground and HANG ON TIGHTLY. At this point you have your small figure 8, and the one kneeling need to grab each end and twist towards the middle and get it folded, and push it back to the ground DO NOT LET IT GO. At this point carefully move one knee over to hold it then slide the other one over. Do the same with the other side. It WILL eventually work. It got easier after a couple failed tries, you’ll see what it needs to do. Once it’s folded together and someone is still kneeling and holding the edges, get the strap and carefully slide it under and tighten with the buckle. DO NOT LET GO YET. Carefully turn over and bring the rest of the strap around to tie crosswise. Make sure it is TIGHT AND EVEN. Quickly get it into the bag and stuff it in the box, don’t forget the little bag with ropes and stakes. Wrap tape around it in the middle to make a tape cross and then on each side of the tape halfway to the edge of the box. Double wrap the tape. We had no issuescwith UPS to return this, we did a drop off. After we’d finished I realized we should have had someone get video, but just stick with it. It WILL WORK.

I recently purchased the Alvantor Screen House Room for our summer picnics and backyard get-away from the kids. The pop-up design makes it incredibly easy to set up and take down, which is a huge plus when you’re out in nature or just setting up in the backyard. The 10’x10′ size is perfect for providing ample space for our family and friends to relax without feeling cramped. The mesh walls do a fantastic job of keeping bugs out while still allowing plenty of airflow, making it a comfortable spot to hang out on warm days. One thing to note is that this tent is not waterproof, so we did get rained on in the middle of the night. But it dried quickly the next day with no mold growth at all.Overall, the Alvantor Screen House Room is a great choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-use, spacious, and bug-free outdoor shelter. It’s ideal for camping, picnics, or any outdoor event where you want some shade and protection from insects. Just keep in mind that it’s not meant for wet conditions. We place a tarp under ours.

Bought this screenhouse for a music festival and it was great! A couple things to note before buying:It’s great for keeping bugs out, but if you want sun protection and privacy, buy the side panels. It’s relatively waterproof, but not fully. It rained on us while at the festival and we ran under this screened house and while it protected us from the majority of the rain, water would pool on top and seap through.Overall a great buy, but I would definitely recommend buying the side panels and a good rain tarp along with it.

I am so happy to say I believe I have found the perfect 2 in one screen house. It is the perfect size I was interested in. This Alvantor screen house quality seems top notch to me. My favorite part is house super easy it is to put up and take down. This screen house is perfect for keeping the bugs out. My husband was reluctant about getting this tent and now he cannot stop talking about how much he loves it. The prefect size, ease of putting up and taking down and durability and protection from bugs are what sold him on it as well. I also love that there are 2 rooms if desired. I love this cause when we are camping I have my little camp kitchen set up on one side and then our table and chair bistro set on the other. Brilliant design.

The media could not be loaded.

I love how easy it is to install. It literally only took us five minutes to pop it back down and into the bag. The bag has the instructions sewed into it so you can always refer back to it. I really love that the manufacturer did that. Usually instructions are just put in there and you end up losing them. The fact that they took the extra step and attached it to the bag is impressive. It also came with Poles so you can really secure it and also pegs so you can secure it into the ground. I will be taking this to football games, camping the beach everywhere. No more struggling to get my tents up. I’m so happy I took the gamble and purchased this. The price tag is pretty hefty, but it’s worth it. I definitely recommend it.

I love this newly designed tent. I own the 10×10 dome tent and it is a favorite of mine. When I saw this bigger tent I jumped at the opportunity to get it. I used the tent this weekend for a family picnic and this tent surpassed my expectations! Its offers more room, a higher ceiling and its multifunctional. I was able to serve food from one side of the tent and have a sitting area on the other side.It was easy to set up and is very sturdy. Taking it down does require two people! It took us a few minutes to get it down and back into the bag. Overall I feel like this tent will be my new go to tent for picnics, backyard fun and camping!

This is our third purchase of an Alvantor tent. We live in Seattle and love to sit outside. In the past, we have purchased the clear dome/ bubble tents. We got this one because Alvantor says with the shape of the this they have solved the problem of rain pooling on the top. And they have. On the day this arrived we had just taken down our bubble because some strong rains were predicted. We immediately put this up. And it rained. We had dinner outside on our deck in our new Alvantor and the rain came down and everything was perfect. Also, I will note, that this was tent much easier to put up than the bubble. I do wish there was a clear tent in this shape so we could better see our garden and close it up totally in the winter when we need a heater to watch the weather and still be dry. Also, in the past, when we had trouble with our bubble (our fault) Alvantor support was superb! I have been recommending Alvantor for years and have no hesitation in recommending their new design.

We really enjoy using this screen tent! It popped up and packed up just as described. There was 1 corner that collapsed slightly after popping it up for the first time but was easily remedied. The tent was quite sturdy after staking out the guy lines. It was great to relax outdoors while camping without mosquitos and others bugs flying around and biting us. We rolled out an artificial grass rug on the ground under the tent when only dirt or gravel was available at our campsite which made it very cozy. We found it was best to pack it up for any rainy or windy weather as it’s not waterproof and will avoid any unnecessary wear and tear.

Five Stars for this company, I have several of their items and all of them have been so helpful with my Van Life getaways. I have a 2024 Mercedes Sprinter that we use for our glamping road trips. Space is a premium in the van so we like to spread out of the van with our tents. I have 3 different pop up tents from Alvantor and we love them all. My recent purchase has been the Screen House Room 2024 Upgraded 2 in 1 Screen Tent Pop Up Gazebo 12′ x 7.5′. We absolutely love it, so easy to set up and is huge. At first I couldn’t believe how small it looked in the carrying case. Then my husband popped up the tent and wow is it big and so roomy. I have the 15×15 Instant Igloo Tent as well, we love that too. We will for sure have a hard time trying to decide which tents to bring. Since the footprints are small, I might be able to convince my husband to pack all three pop ups. This is built very well yet so light and easy to set up. I added a lot of pictures for other buyers to see. I always find the reviews with pictures very helpful. It’s one big pop up with two connected sections you can open the screen in the middle to have access to both sides. My husband says this will be perfect as our food tent since the mesh can keep out the bugs. Another thing I’d like to mention is it’s pretty tall, feels really spacious inside. I like that it’s rectangular, it will fit perfectly with our van on those assigned campsites.

So I’ve been a fan of Alvantor for a few years now. I own several of their tents and will continue to. I saw this gem and due to my busy schedule can’t always get away on a vacation so I decided to order this outdoor tent to create my own backyard escape. The tent arrived yesterday and I am in love! I didn’t hesitate to set it up yesterday and my partner and I spend the evening hanging out in the backyard enjoying the summer air and ambiance. It was really easy to set up and assemble, the ground stakes have remained in place even overnight, I love like the other tents that I own, the fact that it has a bag to keep it stored in. The support beams were pretty easy to figure out as well.I give this tent a 10 out of 10 in keeping the mosquitos out and giving us an escape at home . I’d recommend this to anyone wanting a sturdy space outside. The fact that it divides 2 rooms or you can open up the center divider to make it one big room is superb I ordered 2 outdoor rugs and some additional inflatable furniture for my new outside space and will be enjoying my yard daily until rain and cold hit!

I got the original Alvantor pop-up shelter. We love that one for the ease of set up and portability. The only flaw was that the ceiling wasn’t the best at shedding rain. We would brace the ceiling with a kayak paddle so it still worked well for us.We got the this new and improved model that folds up smaller and the problem of the roof seems to have been resolved. This new version has a stiffer support structure and I really like the rectangle shape. It will easily fit a full size picnic table. Our poodle liked it too!

LOVE this screen room!!! I set it up by myself in about 2 minutes… so easy! The only part I DESPISED was securing the stupid lines to the ground… that took forever! But the screen room itself was such a nice escape from the bugs and things at the campground so I could eat and relax in peace. I liked that there were a few loops inside to hang things. The only wish is that the zipper was stronger. The zipper pulls are really nice, but the zipper itself is really wimpy and you have to be super careful going in and out, as it tends to catch in certain areas. Also, I noticed a bunch of snags in the screen fabric when I was putting it away. The only thing I can think of is maybe a squirrel tried to drop out of the tree and hold onto it or something, as nothing else was around it. But it didn’t totally make a hole, so we’ll see if it holds up. Finally, I was doubting that I was going to be able to put this thing away by myself as easily as they said, but it really is just as easy to take down if you follow the directions. I was shocked that I was able to get this thing back into the bag the way it was when I first received it. Great product! Heavy-duty up that zipper guys, and this will be PERFECT!!!!!

Loved the look and ease of putting the tent up but not so easy figuring out how to completely fold it up and fit back in its bag. It actually seats 3 people, a table, and 3 nice size camp chairs comfortably; I had 4 people with chairs. I would have loved it if there was exit zippers on two areas of the tent; if someone wanted to leave the tent, two people had to get up to let them out.Everyone loved the look of the tent; it stood out in a crowd of tents.

I am just short of 70 years old, and had a wrist / arm brace- and had no problem getting this open or folding it back down! Do lean back as you’re taking the strap off when opening it, and never have your face over the tent as it’s on the floor laying flat. It literally springs open with a good amount of force. This tent is NOT for young children to manipulate- they could easily get knocked down or hurt. The mesh screen has miniscule openings- so tiny even the no-see-ums can’t get through. The screen is black so will darken things a tad, but what material!! It’s shiny and looks literally like silk- very elegant. My Weimaraner went in and wouldn’t come out, deciding it was HER new dog house. We are using this inside a pool enclosure so the cats don’t claw THAT screen, but can be outside. If you use it for a cat condo, you’ll need strong velcro where the panels meet at the bottom. Cats can push through there. It’s easy to undo the velcro before you take the tent down. The zipper is ultra smooth- recommend grabbing both sides of it when tugging down. The inside of the tent is super roomy, with great height. Taking it down- it literally folds down with slight pressure and folding it into a figure 8 was a breeze- did it on my second try. Fits easily back into the carrying bag. Buy this brand, you won’t be sorry! (Got the 10′ and the 6′ and love both of them.)

We bought the 15′ pop up which was ideal when it was set up. Uptempo was a breeze although read carefully the warnings on how to open as the speed at which it opened almost knocked me off my feet. It also too 2 adults to close it back up.One issue is that it has a flat roof so when it rains, water accumulates until the screen starts to buckle and then all the water pours down the side before the tent pops back into shape. I’m sure if left it could stretch the material over time.

A good product that does what it claims to do – keeps the flying bugs out! It’s pretty large and a bit tricky to set up, especially if it’s windy in the slightest. Take down is also a bit tricky and it never gets to the sixe it was delivered in, but the included carry bag is big enough, and it slides into the bag with no problem. But, you need a large-ish area to store it. In my small RV, under the sofa/auto-bed, there is just enough space – with other stuff. Recommend it for the DIY types – you’ll figure it out!

Easy assembly bc there is none. Pops open once you release the straps. Be careful bc it literally pops open. Currently in use on my backyard but I can’t wait to try it on the beach. With the included stakes and sandbags it should be perfect.

We purchased this tent in 2021, didn’t really enjoy it until this year. We’ve taken to a local park by the water to relax and received so many compliments on it, infact most wanted know where we purchased it so they could order right away. Unfortunately our carry bag was blown away by a storm we were in, we emailed the seller to purchase another bag. We were told they don’t have replacement carry bags for sell and that we would have to find one to fit. Looked for days with no bags for that size. Long story short, the holy spirit said call the store, well they blessed us with a bag free of charge, we just had to pay for shipping/handle. Thank you Alvantor Home Offc, we appreciate your customer service and how you handled it so professionally and customer satisfaction.

Tent is easy to put up and take down. We bouth the 6 person but it’s better for 4 people if you have a pop up table. Was great to keep the temp down a bit more when in the shade of trees. Does need a solid material drop to hang when son beats down. Overall we liked it and so did many at the event we set it up at. People were actually saying they wish they thought of a pop up to bring.Would be better with 1 or 2 drops, a hanger in the middle of the top for a small fan and colored ties or flags for the black anchor strings so people don’t run into them.

This thing is extremely easy to put up and take down, and it’s amazing that it fits into the round bag it comes with. The door is easy to zip/unzip, but you have to remember to step over the raised “doorframe” when entering or leaving the gazebo. Other reviews have mentioned that the mesh seems to not let breezes in. While we haven’t used it yet in strong breezes, we did notice that if the breeze is light it doesn’t seem to come in. But the mosquitoes also can’t come in, which is great. The gazebo seems to run a little smaller than we expected, but not much. I wish we had ordered one size bigger, though. We bought the 10×10 and put it over a 4 ft round table and 4 medium-sized chairs. With just the 2 of us in there, it was ok; but if we had 2 other people visiting it would have felt a little cramped– everyone’s backs would have been almost against the sides of the thing. Maybe consider that when ordering. Overall, though, for its relatively low cost, it’s worth it.

What I liked is that it just popped up and anchor. It is a very nice tent and easy set up.What I didn’t like is that it is not water proof and the top begin to rip over time as well as tears around where it anchors. The material Dmdoesn’t hold up in the heat

This makes our set-up a breeze. I wish we would have found this years ago. The other types advertise how they are easy to set-up, but they aren’t. I spent $200.00 on one that had my husband, teenage son, and myself so frustrated that we threw it in the dumpster at the campground. We couldn’t figure it out and we all agreed that we wouldn’t want this hassle everytime we go camping. Please give this screened gazebo a chamce before buying the others. The other brands aren’t worth the hassle or money. This is a breeze and it stores easily in the bag provided. This has been one of the best purchases we made for our camping trips.

Perfect 12 ft dia tent for the 14 ft dia trampoline that we call the treehouse, because I raised it up one and a half ft with chain anchored two blocks and a cap block (now four and a half ft high). The tent is very well made. Everyone loves the look, quality, and function of the tent. People in and bugs out…lol. ❤️👍💪🌹

I purchased the Alvantor Screen House Room Camping Tent Outdoor Canopy Pop Up Sun Shade Hexagon Shelter Mesh Walls Not Waterproof 10’x10′ Beige on September 16, 2023. Once I received it I put it up in the back yard and never took it down. It has withstood two Michigan winters and still working just fine, even after being snowed on multiple times.

My husband surprised me with a poolside Valentines dinner and he bought this tent for the occasion. It was easy to put up and easy to take down. Like 10-12 minutes for each. I was even able to put up and take down easily the next time I used it. It’s durable and I look forward to using it in the summer to keep the mosquitoes out while I enjoy some patio time. True to the advertisement.

I’ve bought two of these so far. The 12’x12′ for over my hot tub and the 15’x15′ to replace it only because I wanted more room to open and close the cover.I live in North East Ohio and I left this up over the hot tub all winter long and it took every punch that nature threw at us 👊It worked well for my purposes because the top center would just collapse down on top of the hot tub when it snows with accumulation, and I’d just push it off periodically and it would pop right back up, same with rain water.I only used about 12 old landscape pavers to hold it down!No rips or tears yet either.Highly recommend if you have an outdoor area that you want to cover fairly inexpensively ✊

What a great addition to our overlanding adventure. Bug issues are history. Even more valuable is the reduction in cold wind conditions while inside the screened off area. We set it up on the downwind side of our vehicle and small camper and, Wow, a real comfort boost. I love cooking inside this space. The cook top works better. The camp Coleman oven works better and I still feel like I’m out in the open surrounded by the outdoors. A++

Oh forgot to mention the screening is so good, definitely will keep the bugs out.

When they say popup you can rely on the description. It was so easy to setup one person can do it. I plan on leaving mine up in my backyard so I did purchase some screw-in stakes for sturdy support. Plus use the included stakes to secure all poles. Zipper has worked fine. Held up through a rain and about 5 minutes of marble size hail, so I’m very impressed with the quality of the product. This was the perfect size for the area I needed.

So easy to set up and take down! I got the 10 ft. and it looks great. Love the sandbag idea and the hooks they hang on. So neat and tidy yet secure. The guy lines coming from the top and bottom provide extra stability even on windy days—the sand bags help too. The zipper is easy to slide and doesn’t hang up like so many do. It folds up into it’s case and is so easy to store in our motorhome. So happy with this purchase.

I spent wayyyy too much time trying to find a nice screen house for my backyard. I kept coming across this one and was focused on the bad reviews but decided to give it a chance. Let me tell you it does not disappoint. It’s so easy to put up it took me all of 10 mins in 50mph wind gusts to set this up. I filled the sand bags and just placed them on the flaps and used the stakes and this held up in the wind storm. Before I officially set it up I wanted to see how long it would take me to open and close it by myself and it takes me longer to put on my socks in the morning. Literally took no time at all to open and close ALL BY MYSELF. If you are looking for a quick pop up that’s super easy to use for any occasion this should be your choice, save yourself a lot of time and give this a chance

Awesome bug protection tent! I’ve been using it past 2 years for camping, it’s super easy to open and fold back by yourself and is lightweight. Very sturdy against ripping unless 180 lbs dogs are desperately trying to get in, somehow they figured out thats the place to be! haha. So im buying buying second one now for me and they can keep the ripped one for themselves.

10×10 screen room: We’ve been into camping for 10+ years and by far this is our best purchase. No longer are we fighting bugs and mosquitoes. First, when you open this tent to set it up, be aware that it pops open quickly once you release the straps. Aside from that, it was the easiest tent or screen room I’ve ever been part of setting up in my over 60 years. No tent poles to set up separately. Just release the straps and it pops up and you just unfold a couple of sections. The most work is setting up the tie downs and stakes: easy peasy! It took me less than ten minutes total. I found it to be quick and easy to take down and fold as well. I may get one of the larger ones some day now.Be aware also: this is not for rain protection. There’s not much shade, just screening from insects.

I like the concept but it’s not going to last after this first and only season. To be fair, a squirrel got into it and ripped the screen but the bottom material ripped which is how the squirrel got in in the first place. So not durable. Canvas would have been better but not that at all. It’s definitely sensitive to the wind like everyone has mentioned. However I’m still sitting in it with my lil glass patio table and 4 chairs (10×10 size) but ultimately look elsewhere….. the materials are what make it flimsier than what you would want. I’ll tolerate for this year. I really wanted this to work.
