This little guy is so cute! It is made of soft silicone and seems durable. The light has 2 levels of brightness, both of which I feel are appropriate for a nightlight or decorative light (let’s be real, you are not using this light to read by) and not too bright. He is pretty sensitive, but I really like this- you can tap him pretty much anywhere to change the brightness or turn it off. Tap either foot, his beak, his head, poke his belly, squish him, any of these will make him change his lighting level. I cannot speak to how long the charge lasts just yet, but will update this later once we’ve had it for awhile. It did come already charged so I was pleasantly surprised I could give it to my daughter right away to put in her room. Super cute- would be adorable in a kid’s bathroom or bedroom, or just anywhere you want to add some cuteness and light 🙂

This night light is made of a soft silicone squishy material that does not get hot when the light is on. The little ones have a habit of wanting to touch and hold things. This light will not burn them. The controls are easy the on and off are on the bottom, you just slide the switch to the position that you want to adjust the strength of the light you just tap the light. It is run off rechargeable batteries or a USB cord. You can get about 16 hours of use before you need to recharge. It’s easy to clean just wipe it with a damp cloth and it is shiny as new. It’s a cute addition to any child’s room. it is worth the price for this nightlight. And I would buy other styles of this light. My granddaughter likes to pack it around with her wherever she goes.

It’s got a great soft glow and a brighter mode. It automatically cam time itself off after I think 20 minutes. So much nicer that turning on an overhead light when winding down for the night. Yup, I’m a full grown adult using this almost daily but bought it for travel because some light switches can be in weird spots. I also don’t like having sometimes to talk to Alexa or Google to get light, so I tap on this instead. My only negative which is why there is four stars is if you bump the table it’s on it can sometimes turn itself on. It’s pretty sensitive. So it could use up the battery faster that way. But I’ve had it out for a month with intermittent use and still haven’t had to charge it. I love being able to tap his little head to turn it on or off. Great investment for kids rooms and for the kid in all adults.

I’m in love with these little capybara night lights. We love capies here, decades before their popularity we’d always visit them at the petting zoo. They are so sweet. These little “touch” lamps work perfectly for me when I am up in the middle of the night. They emit a nice gold glow and are easy to turn on and off. I love how they make a little puff and feel squishy. Very pleasant to use. This lamp also comes with a bunch of capybara pins or croc decorations.This one with the oranges on capy’s head is particularly cute and well-functioning. You turn it on or off (active or not) from a button at the bottom, plus you can also set a 20 minute duration. Then whenever you want the light on, you just press the capy. Press twice for brighter light. Press a third time for “Light OFF”. Comes with USB charge cord. I have it on my nightstand. If I come into the bedroom and it’s totally dark, I just use my cane to tap it from a distance and turn it on. Also at night, it’s just what you need to locate and take a pill. So not just for kids, adults will love it too.By the way, watch out for other brands of similar capy lights because some look squishable but do not turn on any light. They operate exclusively from pressing the button underneath. It’s very annoying to get one of those, and you wonder why it’s not working. So read about how it functions carefully.

I bought this as a gift, but I am absolutely keeping it now. It is so freaking adorable! It is made of a soft plastic with hard plastic for the ears and orange top. It is super squishy, and you can squish it to turn it on and change the brightness. You can also just tap it on the head to change the brightness. It has a switch on the bottom to turn it on, off, or 20 minute timer. Once it’s on you just have to tap it or squeeze it to change the brightness. There are two brightness levels. The highest brightness is not super bright so it’s perfect for a nightlight. It comes with a “type C” USB charging cable so it’s very easy to charge. It does not come with the box part of the charger, so you would need to use your own or plug it into a computer. It also comes in a cute box perfect for gifting (or secretly keeping for yourself). I would give this 10 stars if I could. Definitely recommend 10/10.

I’m not even joking. Every time I see a new one I have to have it. I just can’t get enough of these sleepy eyed chubby little beasties. I have a whole collection of them now, lol. This little guy was the first one that started the madness. He’s made of silicone and is squeezably soft. When you squeeze him, you can hear a little puff of air escape like a bellows. You charge him up using the supplied c hub adapter (charging brick not included). After charging, you cut him on using the switch on the bottom. There are three settings: off, 20 min timer, and on. The 20 min timer is for kids who want to use it as a night light so it turns off after they are asleep. After you switch him on, there are two ways to make him light up, you can squeeze him or pat him on the head. What this does is make him light up to 50% with the first squeeze or tap then 100% with the second squeeze or tap. I have found that the squeeze method works better to turn him on but tapping does work you just may have to do it a few times. His skin is loose but holds its shape, this makes it easier to squeeze for tiny hands. As others have said, I ordered this as a gift, but I think I may just have to hold on to this little guy. Anyway, I wouldn’t want to take him away from his family, hahah. I think this is a great product for young kids, and the young at heart. I recommend this product.

He’s soft to the touch and lights up whenever tapped.IMHO, this capybara is the perfect night light for small kids. Ok, when my wife got me this, I wasn’t too thrilled as the cute capybara was a bit “cartoony” for my taste. However, I have since really fallen in love with it. You squeeze it once and it lights low. A second squeeze for a high light. The stronger light is still dim enough that I use it at night and won’t wake my wife. I always need a light going to the bathroom at night because my dogs sleep on the floor and block my path. I am always worried about stepping on them. Typically, I use my phone light but that is too bright. This light has a soft glow that I really, really like. It is squishy to squeeze and appeals to the tactile sense. I have used this for a month and it is running on the charge it came with out of the box. Did I mention that I am surprised to like this as much as I do? I LOVE it.

This light comes with cute little accessories for Crocs and couple of safety pins. The light has 20 min mode as well as manual mode where you can choose between two settings.
