I have purchased several Rainpoint irrigation timers in the past and I have always been pleased. This wifi timer is a step up.Pros:-Brass fittings with extra hose filters and Teflon tape.-Solid waterproofed housing.-Included hub doubles as a wifi outlet.-Free app has tons of features (Schedules, rain delay, water usage monitor)- App integrates with Alexa/GoogleCons:- Only basic on/off button without the app.- Hub and timer only work with 2.4 GHz wifi.- Yet another app to download.- Requires 4 AA batteries.All in all, I’m impressed with this irrigation timer. It works well and the instructions were clear. Rainpoint has always been a great value for the money. I strongly recommend it!

I purchased the RAINPOINT WiFi Water Timer specifically to help manage topping off the water in our pool, and its going to save me a lot of money. The days of putting a hose in the pool and then forgetting about it¡ªonly to waste hours of water¡ªare hopefully behind me for good!The setup was quick and painless. Connecting the unit to our home Wi-Fi was fast and easy.The system comes with two components: a gateway unit that plugs into a standard house outlet and connects to your Wi-Fi, and a remote unit that attaches to the outdoor faucet and hose. The remote runs on four AA batteries, and while I haven¡¯t had it long enough to confirm the year-long battery life claim, the app displays battery levels clearly so I can stay ahead of any issues.The iPhone app is simple, intuitive, and works great on my iPhone, and the app in the gateway controller will support multiple remote units. Setting up the timer is super convenient, and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can start and stop water flow with just a tap.Overall, I¡¯m very pleased with this purchase. It was a bit on the pricey side, but seems to be a well-thought-out product that solves a real-world problem and does it with ease. Highly recommended!

So far, I am very pleased with this smart timer. It seems to be well built, it feels quite solid, and looks like it will hold up to outdoor use. There’s a silicone gasket at the base of the battery compartment door to keep out moisture. I like that it has a large manual on/off button on the front of the unit. The app seems easy enough to use, and I like that it tracks water usage in addition to scheduling.I do have a couple of nitpicks though. One of the reasons I chose this model was because it has brass fittings for greater durability. I was disappointed then, to see that they’re not entirely brass but just the very tips. The female end is a brass nut and the male end has brass threads, but they’re attached directly to plastic piping that enters the timer body. I wish the brass extended into the unit.My other nitpick is that this unit requires it’s own proprietary hub for wifi connection. This is slightly negated by the fact that is has a pass-through outlet plug that itself functions as an independent smart outlet.

This is the fourth RainPoint product I¡¯ve bought and I haven¡¯t been dissatisfied yet. I own the manual timers (single and dual) and have been happy with the way they work – easy to set up, easy to program, works well – but wanted to try a WiFi enabled timer so I could adjust timing and turn on/off without having to go outside, especially to turn it off if rain is anticipated. The cost was decent too for the hub and timer pairing.Overall this is a great product. It was easy to set up the hub with the WiFi and the timer with hub. It took less than 5 minutes from box to set up. The hub is a little large which was disappointing but it does have a built in outlet so you don¡¯t actually lose an outlet. Connection to the hose bib was easy, it makes a tight fit with no leaks. I applied a little plumbers tape out of habit. Brass fitting is a good feature too, making it a more solid product.The RainPoint app took a few minutes to get used to, it wasn¡¯t as intuitive as I would have liked but perhaps will get easier over time. I like that it has three different schedules you can set and go back and forth between them as needed throughout the season. You don¡¯t have to go out and set it manually and then remember your settings for the next time. The manual on/off (with time setting) was useful for setting up the sprinkler. You can turn it on and off from time phone without having to go back to the hose bib while you¡¯re trying to position your sprinkler which is very convenient. The on/off button in the app had about a second delay though which was unexpected and a tad annoying but still better than going to the hose bib multiple times.I haven¡¯t seen the intelligent weather response yet so I can¡¯t speak to that feature. But I was able to turn it off manually with sprinkling rain from the phone. I also can¡¯t speak to how well the hub works with multiple timers, and hub placement between multiple timers, but I plan to get one or more timers since this product has been so good thus far!

I first tried the RainPoint TTV203WRF, but after speaking with their amazing customer service team, I realized the TTV103WRF was a better fit for my needs. Their support was quick, helpful, and made the whole process easy. The 103WRF is working great so far and should make watering my garden much simpler. I¡¯m still setting up the schedule in the app, but everything else has been smooth. Highly recommend RainPoint for both their products and customer service!

Love this timer. My faucet is not easily reachable so this has been a lifesaver. I had the model with plastic couplings but I’m eager to see how long this one lasts. It’s easy to setup. Just follow the directions. I had a bit of an issue because I didn’t realize I would have to connect my phone to the wifi plug first, but once I realized my error, it was connected in no time.

Product performs really well, it¡¯s easy to install and offers a very nice interface through the controlling app. I bought the first one in 2022 used it paired with the soil sensor for my herbs raised beds with great satisfaction, ultimately tuning finely the irrigation and saving substantial amount of water compared to a manual irrigation. Service team from the manufacturer has also been extremely helpful whenever I have been in need of support.

I love this timer from Rainpoint. It is very easy to install and to program using their App. I am now able to control my drip irrigation setup very easily using Wifi. Regarding reliability, I have only used it for a limited period of time, but it has been very reliable till now. The Rainpoint App is well designed and has many useful features including the ability to program by duration (time) or by volume of water that is dispensed.

I purchased a different brand starting with an O and was very unhappy and had to return it because it was impossible to connect. The ease of connection was so impressive that anyone can do it. It literally took me five minutes. Works wonderfully and just as anticipated.

This Rain Point timer seems appears to be well constructed with it¡¯s brass components. So far it¡¯s been working well and the app is intuitive for the operation of the device. I did rely on Rain Point support to help with the WiFi setup and they were quick to help.

I purchased 2 of these to auto-water my flower pots, hanging baskets and window box planters because I often forget to water and my plants would die. I coupled them with a small diameter water hose kit designed for this purpose. It worked great. I wanted WiFi, Alexa integration, and iPhone control for easy to use app controlled scheduling. This timer had everything I was looking for, and unlike other timers with PLASTIC faucet connectors that develop cracks easily , this has quality metal fittings for durability and no leaks. Also I recently contacted customer service and was pleasantly surprised at how fast they responded and resolved one issue I had. I would definitely recommend.
