I am a Ninja fan and have quite a few of their product which I love. When I discovered the Crispi air fryer, I was hesitant to buy it since I have the dual air fryer and a couple of other Ninja appliance that also do a good job at air frying. Even so, I was intrigued by the price that is lower than most Ninja appliances, and decided to try it. I figured I could return it if I didn’t like it.As it turns out, I love it. Since I have other appliances that perform the same functions, it’s not something I will be using every day. Yet the smaller size of the containers are very useful when you don’t need a larger oven or other appliance for the cooking task. So, what are the pros and cons of this air fryer and would it be useful for you.Pros: 1) It includes two glass cooking containers, 6 cup and 4 quart, that can withstand temperatures of up to 450 degrees. I have used both containers and it not find any problems with maintaining temperature in the larger container as reported by another buyer. 2) Lids for both containers are included for storing leftovers, but I doubt I will ever use the lids. 3) Both containers include crisper plates that elevate food from the bottom of the containers so that air circulates around the food for even cooking. 4) The entire unit with all of the accessories nests together, so it really doesn’t take much storage space. 5) Since the containers are smaller than an oven, they heat up much more quickly and cook food faster. 6) Includes a recipe book with recipe ideas and charts for cooking a number of foods in both container sizes. Personally, I doubt I will use the recipes, but the cooking charts are very useful since this unit heats fast and maintains temperatures better than some other cooking options. 7) The glass containers and crisper plates are very easy to clean. Warm soapy water and a wash rag is usually all that is needed for thorough cleaning. In addition, these items are all dishwasher safe. 8) Super easy to use. Select a mode, recrisp, bake, air fry, or max crisp.Cons: 1) Since the bases cannot be separated from the glass bowls, it could be difficult to clean the underside of the bowls around and above the base. So far, I have not had anything get onto the underside of the bowls, so this hasn’t been a problem. I have been cleaning the bowls by hand since they are so easy to clean. Since the bowls and bases are dishwasher safe, washing in the dishwasher would resolve this problem. 2) Specific cooking temperatures cannot be chosen. Each mode has a temperature range that can’t be changed. So far, this hasn’t been a problem for me since I choose the mode by temperature range rather than by function. Bake has the lowest temperature range and is supposed to supply gentler heating. This mode works best for foods that you don’t want to use the higher temperatures used for air frying, such as seafood.Tonight, I reheated a large stuffed pepper that had been cut in half when it was partially thawed. In the past, I reheated these peppers cut in half in an oven and in a small casserole dish. As the peppers reheated, they sat in the juices released by the peppers and meat in the peppers. I used the 6 cup container, put the pepper halves on the crisper plate, and the juices were collected below the plate. I heated the peppers using the bake mode for 10 minutes to complete the thawing. After we ate our salads, I baked the peppers another 10 minutes to reheat them, and added BBQ sauce in the last 5 minutes. They came out wonderful. Some of the top of the meat was a bit crisped, and the BBQ sauce was well heated. Judging from this experience, I don’t think I would recommend cooking a 4 lb. chicken in this cooker since it would be so close to the heating element, but a 3 lb. would work fine. It should be baked first on the back side and then turned to cook on the top side. When almost to 165 degrees, it should be air fried a few minutes to crisp the skin.This appliance shines for so many uses, and would be perfect when cooking for 1-4 people depending on what is being cooked. My husband’s cooking abilities are limited to the microwave and the toaster, and even he could use this appliance without feeling challenged.UPDATE 12/05/24:Tonight, I made a couple of lemon pepper chicken thighs for dinner. Since the thighs were small, I decided to use the small bowl of the Crispi to air fry them, and used a wireless probe to monitor the internal temperature of the thighs. I set the done temperature on the probe app to 165 degrees, used the air fry mode on the Crispi and set the time to 15 minutes since I wasn’t sure how long it would take to cook the thighs. I started the cooking with the skin side down and turned the thighs when the internal temperature was at 100 degrees to brown and crisp the skin.It took 13 minutes to fully cook the thighs. They were well browned and very moist. I will definitely be using the Crispi in the future for cooking foods that don’t require the space of a larger oven.I will update this review if my opinion changes. At this time, I would recommend this air fryer if you feel it would be useful for you.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I am very impressed! This has become one of my favorite piece of appliance. There’s are of course pros and cons so I’ll try to cover the ones that are important to me and maybe others.Pros:I really do appreciate the small vessel for when I just want to have a small snack of fries, tots, etc. I know it shows that it’s big enough for a ‘meal’ but the small container is fairly small. Maybe you can do a small chicken breast and some veggies, but honestly I would prob stick to the bigger container for most of your needs. I am planning on getting the in between size but I don’t think it’s on NiceShine atm.I do love the glass container. While it gets hot, I like the fact the nonstick portion is just relegated to the grill plate. I’m sure you can swap that out with a metal rack but so far I don’t mind it. The glass and plate are very easy to clean so that’s another big plus.Controls are very simple and intuitive but I kind of wish the temp can be better controlled instead of a temp range. Not really a big deal for most of the stuff I make but if I could dial in the temp, that would be awesome.Noise is actually not too bad. I barely notice it when I’m watching tv. Smell is also acceptable. You don’t really smell much until you open it.I guess it’s portable? If you’re gonna use the smallest container then it’s def portable. I wish I could use it at work but yea for others, this might be a big deal.CONS:I have to say, I think the price might be a little high compared to other air fryers. But to me I didn’t might paying it because I like the design and how it doesn’t really take much room in my limited counter.Again I wish I could dial in the temp but hopefully that comes in the v2 or v3 of this device.I’m going to be a bit nit picky here, but there’s too many stickers! The temp range on each mode is on a sticker that’s placed on top. Of course it gets heated and now it’s just constantly wanting to peel off when I make something. I wish it was etched or embossed or something. And all the caution stickers are unsightly as well. I get why they have to do it, but to me it’s too much to look at. It cheapens the vibeOverall, I really do love this device. It’s just so convenient for me because when I get home from work, I can quickly make my lunch for the next day. Really glad I got this air fryer!

Man, I love the Ninja Crispi! I bought it the day it came out, and it’s been amazing! I primarily use it for work so I can have fresh, healthy meals throughout the day. It’s super convenient for bringing meals on the go, and I even have videos on my YouTube and TikTok accounts showing how I use it. One of my co-workers even got one after hearing me rave about it, and she loves it too—she’s in her 80s and finds it perfect for her since she lives alone.The size is great, but it is a trial-and-error process when it comes to cooking. You have to keep an eye on your food to make sure it’s not overcooked or undercooked. For example, I made cookies, and they only take a few minutes to bake—parchment paper is a must for that! I also made brownies, and I recommend using a silicone piece so they heat evenly on the crisper plate. I tried an air fryer (different brand) and was very meh on it. In particular it was extremely frustrating to clean, despite using parchment liners, etc. And the “non-stick” was a joke.I saw the Cripsi and liked the approach – especially the glass containers – so picked one up. It is amazing. I use it nearly every day. I don’t know about cooking a whole chicken, but it handles heating up leftovers and frozen foods with air fryer instructions beautifully. I don’t have a microwave. I’m unwilling to give up the counter space for one and an over-the-range isn’t possible. The Crispi isn’t a 100% equivalent, but it covers a lot of what I would otherwise use a microwave for.The only thing I wish was different is that cleaning the heating pod is just about impossible.

I’ve owned several air fryers, and this one is my favorite. The glass containers are easily the best feature. Very easy to clean. Much better than other fryers with drip pans and heat coils to work around. It also heats up fast and cooks quickly. And it takes up less space than most fryers.Cons? The portability of it is way overblown. It’s small, but still big enough to be burdensome. But does anyone want to bring an air fryer to work? The glass containers also get very hot, so you need to use caution. They could be used for storage, but they aren’t ideal.Overall, I think it’s great, especially if (like me) you prioritize easy cleaning and space saving. Just know the portability and food storage claims are overblown.

The last thing I need is one more item to store, so I held off until December 2024 to purchase an air fryer. I finally purchased one because 1) I had so many recipes I wanted to try and 2) having one gives me something to do with my son who is headed to college in the fall (teach him how to make the recipes we tried and liked). Serendipitously, my lateness to the air fryer scene allowed me to benefit from others’ experiences and advancements in air fryers (eg, a GLASS option). I love this air fryer. I use it primarily to cook frozen potatoes and chicken, fresh potatoes and chicken (notice a theme yet?), and fish. Reheated pizza in it tastes like fresh pizza. I love it because it is easy, everything has turned out great (so far), and your food cooks in glass. The only negative thing I can say about it is you need to have room around the fryer when using it to set the heating element top piece down on the counter after cooking whatever you cooked. I think the ‘footprint’ of this air fryer might be a bit bigger than you realize because of that. No problem, though…once you understand the room needed, you just make sure you have the space needed before removing the heating element top piece. Would 100% buy this again and recommend it to anyone looking for an air fryer.

My first Ninja product and pretty much satisfied. i have a very small kitchenette with 1 sqr. foot of counter space. this system is perfect for extremely small spaces. very impressed with that. i also had an air fryer that was impossible to clean. this system uses the glass cooking containers making viewing what’s cooking easy to see and clean up easy. the 3rd aspect i love is storage. it packs up and fits in a tote bag under my sink. overall, it cooked everything so far well and fast with some slight charring. now for the bad. baking. it tends to burn the outside leaving the middle raw when i tried to make cookies. not sure if i did it wrong. followed the instructions twice, but no success. that’s fine since i don’t use it for baking but it would have gotten 5 stars if that worked. definitely worth getting if you have limited space.

It works well for most items you would put in an air fryer. It doesn’t do as good a job with chicken nuggets and french fries as our larger air fryer. The ease of clean up of this unit is the best feature. Cleaning our previous air fryers was always a pain. This unit cleans up quickly and can go in the dishwasher.

This air fryer is genius. Absolutely incredible. My biggest issues Are: some staining to the heating element cover, they don’t all come out and I don’t want to use abrasive stuff. Cleaning between the plastic and glass on the containers is not ideal and I’ve already had food stuck in there so I had to take a water pic from my bathroom to pop out the food stuck; you definitely need to buy a straw/pipe cleaner. I think it’s weird that the power cord is going over the exhaust area, heating up the cable. And I wish I could dial in the temp if I wanted to, not just presets. Even with those issues, I’d still give this five stars. So easy to cook, clean, put away, it feels way different than other airfyers I’ve used.

We had an old bulky air fryer, that took a lot of space on our counter and decided to buy the Ninja, based on a review I saw on Apple News. This one occupies almost half the space of the old one, it’s simpler to operate, and you can see the food while it’s cooking, so you can decide weather to stop or continue to cook. I also like that you can save the food directly in the fridge, using the glass containers that come with a lid. All in all a great buy. I strongly recommend it.

Good at cooking, tough to clean. You must clean it after every use (the top grate that blows the heat down). This isnt easy to do and if I didnt want to void my warranty I would take the top grate off and clean it that way. Other than that its great

I love this air fryer. Never was a fan of air fryers until this nifty product. So easy and compact to use. Because the pod is removable, it easily stores in a drawer or cabinet. Everything has been prepared perfectly. You cook directly in the provided serving dish. Initially I was concerned that clean up would be difficult, but it cleans up very easily with little effort. Provided cookbook has many great recipes that I am still exploring. Great product. This is my new favorite kitchen gadget.

If you hate and or have that little fear of microwaving your food all the time this is the solution. I hate microwaving my food because of the radiation and change of texture in the food.I loved this so much I bought two. One for work where I reheat my food and it taste freshly cooked with the oven option and or grab something frozen and have it cooked in ten minutes with max crisp.The second one I bought for my kitchen due to lazy kids not wanting to make their food. This makes it easier and they aren’t as bad with it because it’s user friendly.

This is my new “go to” cooker. Love the portability to use on the road. Love the storage container feature. Love the glass to see what’s cooking. Not sure if the “grill” part is coated with anything that may prove toxic someday. I’m still trying to figure out why sometimes I don’t have the food cooked hot enough. I still gave it 5 stars because I am guessing human error. Wish I had a guide how to perfectly crisp veggies for on the go.

I have only used the Ninja Crispi one time so far and loved it. I used it to heat up 4 day old French fries and they came out just like I had just purchased them at a restaurant. Next, I’m going to try it on a salmon filet. My only issue is I received the Crispi air fryer when I wasn’t at home. The air fryer was in its original box, which was opened on the top, then packaged in a bigger NiceShine box, which was sealed! Everything appeared to be new and undamaged, so I didn’t think anything about it. Later, after I had cleaned the glass dishes, lids, etc. and put them away, I realized the one had originally ordered was the tan colored Crispi (which was pictured on the box), but the one I received was the dark gray one. So it seems like someone switched out the Crispy heating unit! I have been a little worried the one I received (instead of the correct one) might have been swapped out for a defective unit, but so far, so good. Hopefully it lasts a long time!

As someone that lives full time in a RV most airfryers took up too much space or drew too much wattage. This solves both problems. It takes up less space and the smaller cooking container is pure genius. It uses less wattage than other airfryers yet still gets the job done.

I really like this air fryer so far. I love how much quieter it is than Ninja Speedi. I would say my two concerns for this one is the power cord not being protected by something to eliminate it accidentally burning. Also, the crisper tray does not seat correctly after spraying it and the glass with oil. Tray keeps tilting sideways. If anyone has a hack for this I would really appreciate! I love this air fryer but feel that safety issue at least needs addressing. Thank you

I discovered this in an Instagram ad. Our air fryer busted a few months ago and we’re been torn between having another one and not cluttering up our counter space. This does both! It’s not as easy as just pulling out a basket like you would on a standard fryer but the fact that I can use, pack up the food, and then just store the Crispi, is really nice!

Very nice AIr Fryer, Ninja does not disappoint. it cost less than the big previous unit we had from another maker that we were ready to replace. It is not perfect, we could give some design ideas, but it is by far better than the previous unit. We are not savvy cookers so it took us a minute to figure out the settings. As other person mentioned, the unit is less loud than other Air Fyers and the parts don’t get extremely hot, but we were careful just in case. We used re-crisp mode and it was just great. We love the fact that it is glass and everything can be washed. The heating part can be wiped.

We have a Class B+ motorcoach RV. After having a full sized motorcoach I have found storage challenging. Our small weber grill will not fit easily into the basement cabinet and a traditional basket style air fryer does not fit into any of the interior cabinets. This is the only model air fryer that breaks apart so the parts can be stored separately. I was concerned about not being able to select the temperature control, but am now a convert. I just cooked a cornish game hen in the larger of the two bowls, 40 minutes on air fry mode; 20 with breast down then flip and 20 more with breast up. I did lamb chops on air fryer and to sear did a minute on crisp. Love that you can see the contents while cooking. I set it up outside the RV on a table and keep an eye on it while we have a predinner drink. I highly recommend for home and on the go.

You need this. Seriously. Cooking for one is bothersome, so cereal is often what’s for dinner. With this, you can mix, marinate, and cook in one dish. Crisping frozen potatoes yields great results. My favorite dish so far – I took a whole chicken, seasoned it up, and air fried it. I found it better than the Costco Rotisserie chicken because I could control the flavor (less salty). The skin was crispy, the inside was juicy. Everything but the Crispi itself goes into the dishwasher. It is small enough to sit on my tiny studio counter. I love it!

At first glance this was a great idea. But after living with it for a few days, the design problems begin to get annoying.The good:1. The glass containers are great to keep an eye on the food without needing to open it.2. It does a good job of air frying the few things we have tried.The bad:1. There is no way to set the temperature on this. It just has 4 modes – Recrisp, Air fry, Bake and Max crisp. I did not realize how much I used the temperature control to quickly heat up stuff like baked snacks, which now I cannot reliably do.2. The design of this means that you have to lift up the “powerpod” when it is running to get at the food. While not super heavy, it definitely is hefty enough that you will find it difficult to hold it up for a reasonable amount of time (eg while you’re stirring the contents at halfway mark). So you want to set it down somewhere. While the powerpod does have small legs that prevent the heating elements from directly contacting the surface, it is still hot enough that you don’t want to do this on a countertop or area that can be damaged by sustained heat. And it’s large enough that you need multiple heat protection pads to set it down on – one is just not large enough to cover it.3. This one might just be us, but it was definitely something I missed. We had a small nook where our earlier air fryer used to be. We could pull the fryer basket out and use the fryer. Because this one needs to be pulled UP instead of forward, we cannot keep it in the same place anymore because it doesn’t have the access and clearance. Instead we have to keep it somewhere else and take it out every time we use it. Which means that we don’t use it as often as we used the other one.

I have a full size air fryer that I gave away a week after purchasing this one. It’s compact, perfect for one or two people, and fast. I love that it bakes AND air fries. I use it almost daily. Easy to clean; I purchased the paper inserts for added convenience. It’s quiet, and cooks FAST!

Purchased this fryer to prepare food or reheat leftovers for two people. I have been very happy with the results on both counts. I use the large bowl most of the time and have prepared everything from breakfast rolls to most recently a Cornish game hen. Just pick the heat level and set the timer and your meal will be ready. It works great for reheating food and if you get too many fries when eating out, bring them home and it “recrisps” them as good as you received them or a little bit better if you like. I purchased paper liners which have reduced cleanup time considerably. I like that I can easily put the unit away on a shelf and not take up precious countertop space. I have not used the oven since I purchased the fryer.

I love my ninja air fryer !! It is perfect for everything!! I can bake, air fry, recrip, cook and mine came with two glass containers for big and small meals. I really like the glass containers so I can see my food, reheat or bake whatever I’m making. It is so easy to use, I highly recommend this product !!PS: it is very easy to clean also !!

I bought this to replace a cheaper air fryer that was releasing forever chemicals in its non-stick coating. Enter the Ninja Crispi with glass containers.It does its job and I especially love the bake function. Sometimes air fryers can crisp things a little too much (think leftover taco). The bake function cooks and and still gives it a little crisp.I look forward to trying out a ton of new veggie recipes in it.

Wish I’d bought this sooner! This is an amazing air fryer! It does tend to slightly scorch food if you’re not careful was the heat element is much closer to the food then the regular Ninja. Having the two basins has been awesome and I love that they are glass.

i have had this new air fryer for about a week. i absolutly love my new Crispi!!! this is like my 5th air fryer iv tried. this one is super easy to use and its small yet the perfect size to cook healthy meals. it does take some getting used to because the temperature is preset and not exact. the lid does have to be aligned perfectly but its not that difficult.

I’ve been looking at purchasing this Ninja Crispy for awhile. I have never had an air fryer because of the size. This model is perfect. I can store it in the cabinet and it is easy to setup. Cleanup is super easy too. Amazing how wonderful everything cooks.

I have owned the large 5-1 Ninja, and I thought it was the best thing ever invented, but the pain it is to cleaning the grill grates is what put me onto this little worker bee. It’s small and compact, doesn’t take up much counter space unlike with the 5-1 Ninja. This lil’ thing will make clean up a breeze. It cooks just as well as the 5-1 Ninja, but it’s mainly for personal use. When cooking for more than two people, I will still use the larger 5-1 Ninja.

Excellent recrossing or for full cooking. I use it a lot at work to make quick meals from frozen food. It’s heavy and I hope they come out with some sort of travel bag as it has several pieces.

I LOVE the Ninja Crispi Air Fryer. The first thing I noticed was its construction: The thickness and shape of the legs. The glass bowls are thick, like the kitchen bowls of the 1950’s/1960’s. I made french fries. Perfect and delicious. I also ordered the Ninja cookbook. It’s a good combo order.
