I purchased this unit several days ago and I have to say, that I like this machine. Makes ice, takes up little space and isnt loud.Box is nice, the packing is nice, if feels like a quality product. (Heavy and not cheap) My only complaint is the instruction manual is a joke. The manual will not help you to set up, run, or clean the machine. Completely useless manual. And there is no, water level fill line, so you just have to wing it. Set up requires you to have common sense, because you are on your own. Still, I like it and I think it was a good buy.EDIT: Im reading people giving advice of using bleach to clean this. NO! I used to work on professional Ice machines for restaurants. When we clean an ice machine, we remove the covers, we spray and wipe down the plastic parts, then we run a cleaning cycle using a “special Ice machine cleaner.” We never use bleach because it damages the ice machines.NiceShine sells small bottles of Ice Machine Cleaner and its not expensive. Here is how you clean THIS unit. drain the water, wipe down the basket and the tank under the basket, to remove the slime. Add the ice machine cleaner/water, press and hold power button for five seconds to start the self cleaning cycle. When the cycle ends, drain the cleaner, add new water and run the cleaning cycle again to rinse the cleaner out. Drain the rinse water and you’re done. Cleaner isn’t toxic like bleach is, so you don’t have to rinse it 5 times and its safe for ice machines.EDIT 2: Ice machine cleaner has instructions on the bottle. Please read it! and because its a small ice machine you may want to dilute the mix a bit more. Never pour straight ice machine cleaner into anything. Its concentrated and meant to be mixed

Update 2: my first review offered 2 stars. The update, after working with their customer support, raised it to 3 stars. They truly care about their company and product and offered a 20% refund if I raised it a star, so for their customer service and passion for their product, I will give it 4 stars. I think for one person, this machine is fine. For my family of six, this is not the machine for me. I am still annoyed that the water well is not empty yet but the add water indicator comes on and no further ice is produced until we add more water. We have to constantly add water. I will probably give this one away and purchase a new machine. However; this company truly cares about their product and their customers and wants to do right by them. They have been great to work with. My refund came in via PayPal and the email communications have been consistent and so polite. Best of luck to this company/seller.Update: the company saw my original review below and contacted me right away. They wanted to make it right. We discussed the issues and they offered a full refund or to replace the machine. I allowed them to ship one to me because they felt the light indicator coming on with half of a full water take was a factory issue. I got the new machine in a couple days and tried it out. I do feel that the original machine had issues because the new one is better. I do still feel there are better machines out there but the replacement is better than the original. It’s loud but not as loud. My husband complained about our old ice machine in a different brand so he is just sensitive to the noise I suppose. The water tank goes down much lower before the add water indicator light comes on. It’s not completely empty but better than halfway like last time. So, while this is not the perfect machine, it works, the customer service folks were great and really wanted to make this customer happy. This is unheard of from online orders so I am happy to keep this machine. Thanks!Original post:This machine is loud! For anyone sensitive to noise like one of my family members are, the amount of nose this little machine makes will drive you nuts. The water tank is half way full and the light comes on to say it needs more water. Not worth it. I would have sent it back already but I tossed the styrofoam packing materials and I am trying to find something else to use for packaging. Not worth it. Spend an extra $10-15 to get a better quality machine.

I like that it is small enough to hide out on the counter or end table, it makes ice very quickly and in fact the first 12 hours we made about 10 pounds of ice. It is not very loud, not any louder than a fridge running. I found out that after 12 hours of continuous use things can go wrong. The unit had 2 red lights flashing alternating from one to the other for about 30 minutes, we shut it off and started it back up and it went back to doing the same thing. The unit had enough water, so that wasn’t the problem and then it went into self cleaning mode. The Euhomy website wasn’t any help so I went to YouTube and it was suggested to turn the unit off and let it set for a while and then turn it back on, so that is what we did. We let it set for 30 minutes and turned it back on and it went back to making ice and we haven’t had the problem repeat since. The unit is awkward to empty remaining water so it can be cleaned, they installed a small plastic plug on the bottom of the unit that is very difficult to dislodge and replace. I don’t trust the plastic carrying handle at all as it is very flimsy. We have continued making ice everyday without any more problems, we clean it out after we are done making ice, drain the water and wipe down the inside until it is dry. So far so good.

Picture & video are of the replacement machine black one & I put the broken pink machines pink handle on the black machine pink one makes loud scary bang when turned on.Had to get creative given NiceShine only allows 1 video & I needed to show 2 as the second time it made bigger ice ^-^Im disabled, Autistic/ADHD & sound sensitive,im gonna be honest with my review & hopefully this helps others possibly like myself when ordering this machine.Do note, I now have a working machine they sent a replacement it’s not pink it’s black.Okies so This was the first machine that I’ve ordered on NiceShine to arrive Broken, I didn’t know what to do at first but did figure it out in the end to email them also tried Facebook messenger, but mail is better. I did what the paper stated after unboxing carefully, (be wary if u has kitty’s there’s styrofoam that sheds) I waited almost 3 hrs to plug it in had the pink machine on the counter in my kitchen, even though paper said 1 hour before plugging in (I got distracted with other stuffs)I eventually started it followed the paper rules, filled with water to max & waited, it didn’t do anything so I walked away to my other room to heard a loud muffled noise not knowing it was the machine but startled went back out to kitchen to see the machine didn’t make any ice.So I turned it off, turned it back on & watched it…Big mistake, a loud bang happened when the machine try’s to kick on the cooling part I assume. For me this scared me very bad I’m noise sensitive this also triggered my overreactive fight / flight response, I then had to rebrave turning off & on & recording it for the Euhomy company, I got in contact with them by mail got a nice Human named Stella & was back & forth emailing with them providing pics & videos & serial number & order number, do not forget the order number that’s important!Eventually they sent out a replacement it’s black, not pink like I ordered. The new machine arrived I waited a hour turned it on very bravely wearing my ear defenders, as I was terrified by the last one’s bang noise..This one worked fans kicked on & within some time we had ice & I was able to fill up bowls & put them in front of our fans & some in my kitty’s bowl we have ice now, needed ice for my kitty & I as it’s hot like almost 90 in my place & we can’t get a AC for a bit. This is a very good company I have there countertop dishwasher that works amazing, it’s not there fault the 1st machine arrived broken I mean it was shipped with UPS…..The replacement was shipped with FedEx there prob more gentle.Tip for ND, disabled were ear defenders the first time turning it on just in case .. cause it’s a loud bang if it fails..Also the fans should kick on when u turn it on so that is also a good warning sign something is wrong if the fans don’t kick on.

We love ice in our drinks in our household but do not have a built-in ice maker in our fridge. Consequently we’re constantly filling ice cube trays which take up precious space in our freezer.I was recently at a friend’s house and she has a countertop ice maker. I hadn’t bought one because I thought they were all either out of my price range or too cheap to work well. After enjoying ice from hers I knew I had to order one!I’ve been using mine for about a week and love it. It makes 9 cubes of ice in about 6 minutes. I turn it on when we are home and shut it off at night because the fan/compressor is a little loud (a little louder then my air fryer) and the sound of the ice cubes being ejected is a little noisy too.The ice maker does not keep the ice frozen, but we use it up pretty quickly so I don’t really see this as a drawback. Plus, any melted cubes end up back in the water reservoir and become ice cubes again! Even with 3 people using ice throughout the day we have never run out. This has been a game-changer for us!

I recently purchased a countertop icemaker for my kitchen, and I must say, it has been a game-changer. This compact appliance has exceeded my expectations in terms of convenience, efficiency, and overall performance.First and foremost, the countertop icemaker is incredibly convenient. Gone are the days of constantly refilling ice trays and waiting hours for them to freeze. With this icemaker, I can have a fresh batch of ice cubes in as little as 6-8 minutes. This means I never have to worry about running out of ice when hosting parties or enjoying a cold drink on a hot day. The convenience of having a steady supply of ice readily available at my fingertips is truly invaluable. In terms of efficiency, this countertop icemaker is a standout. It is capable of producing a significant amount of ice in a short period of time. With a large water reservoir and a high ice production capacity, I can easily make up to 26 pounds of ice per day. This is more than enough for my daily needs and ensures that I always have plenty of ice on hand. Additionally, the icemaker is energy-efficient, utilizing minimal power to produce ice, which is a great feature for keeping energy costs low.The performance of the countertop icemaker is impressive. It produces clear, well-formed ice cubes that are perfect for a variety of uses, from chilling drinks to filling up ice buckets. The icemaker also offers different ice cube sizes, allowing me to choose between small or large cubes depending on my preferences. The ice cubes are consistently produced and the machine operates quietly, without causing any disturbance in the kitchen. I appreciate the ease of use and reliability of this appliance.Another notable feature of the countertop icemaker is its compact size and sleek design. It takes up minimal space on my countertop and blends seamlessly with my kitchen decor. The lightweight and portable design also make it easy to move the icemaker around if needed. Whether I’m using it in the kitchen, taking it on a camping trip, or using it for outdoor events, the countertop icemaker is versatile and convenient to use in any setting.Maintenance of the icemaker is also hassle-free. The machine is equipped with a self-cleaning function, which helps keep it clean and free from any buildup or odors. The removable ice basket and water reservoir make it easy to clean and refill, ensuring that the icemaker is always ready to go. The simple control panel and user-friendly interface make operating the icemaker a breeze, even for those who are not tech-savvy.Overall, I highly recommend the countertop icemaker to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient ice-making solution. Its convenience, efficiency, and performance make it an essential appliance for any kitchen or entertaining space. Say goodbye to ice trays and hello to a constant supply of ice cubes with this countertop icemaker. It’s a game-changer that will elevate your ice-making experience to new heights.

Let me list the negative aspects to this Euhomy Ice Maker. It does NOT give you an option to select the size of the ice cubes – despite the fact that EVERY OTHER brand offers this as a standard DEFAULT. The second negative feature is the tiny and MINUSCULE sized basket that is supposed to collect the mini sized ice cubes.I seriously regret ordering this Euhomy Ice Maker and I would NOT recommend it to anyone else.Update: I am still not happy with the minuscule size of the basket, but the ice maker has been producing ‘large’ sized ice cubes, which are very close to the size of bullet cubes produced by my previous ice makers. And,, it is very efficient in the use of the water in the tank.Update #2: I when I got up this morning, the Euhomy Ice Maker had not produced a single ice cube overnight. The basket was completely empty. Water level filled to proper level. The unit was powered on and plugged in – but no ice. This is the first time this has happened. No discernible reason why. I couldn’t feel any air blowing from the vents, so I cycled power. Then, a very weak air flow from the vents could be felt. Was the maker dead already? Checked on it 45 minutes later, and there was some ice in the basket. Seemed like less than normal for that amount of time. Will continue to monitor it, but I might have a defective unit. If conditions worsen, I will return it.

** UPDATE ** Worked fine the first month, now just getting 1/2 the ice. You cansee in the video the rear ice “prongs” have nothing on them At startup I get hardly anything. It takes a good hour or more just to fill it with any decent sized ice cubes. I emailed the MFG… they said unplug it for 2 hours… nope didn’t work. Then the said clean the filter and put it in to auto clean??? When I asked them where the filter was and how to run the cleaning program I got nothing. So I emailed NiceShine. Since I don’t have the box anymore the CSR told me to wrap it up in a big ball of bubble wrap or have UPS box it up. UPS quoted more than it was worth to box and ship, and laughed at the bubble wrap idea. When talking to the CSR I asked for a supervisor and she cut me off.I’ll use it as is I guess.Got a great deal on NiceShine Prime day. I’ve been wanting one for so long, but I’m a cheap a$$ and didn’t want to spend the $40 for shipping. Prime day, I got free shipping, payments over 3 months (no interest) and next day delivery!! For a song and a dance I have a nice little icemaker. The first two batches the cubles are small after that they are bigger. Only issue.***Update. #3 Even out of warranty the seller made things right. New one works perfectly.

Yes, this is a reliable and pretty quiet ice maker. it is also attractive and very easy to operate. Like many other folks, the icemaker in our refrigerator failed and this path for having ice at hand was a justifiable NiceShine purchase. What is less than perfect? Why not five stars? Draining this after cleaning cycle reveals a cheaper drain than we expected. Small issue? Yes. The need for colder water to be the choice when starting to make ice is a notable necessity. Without using cold water, the time element for ice production is double the 6-9 minutes anticipated. No big deal. So, O.K., we make enough ice to stash a few pounds in out freezer. That is a good preemptive way to allow ice to be in a nice and available form. The EUMONY does a fine job of participating in a new and required “getting used to” way of life in the kitchen and is easily and predictably going to be part of our kitchen for a few years. It is well worth the price, and AMAZON delivers – as always – on time, and reliably. Maybe we could and should issue a four-and-a-half-star rating.? That is probably the fairest way of rating this fine machine.

I’ve finally gotten a chance to use this ice maker on a couple of trips. I wanted to see if I could avoid buying bagged ice for drinks and cooler use. I have not actually weighed how much ice it makes per hour, but I can fill 2 one gallon bags with ice in a few hours. And that’s good enough for what I was looking for.The negative is that you really have to attend this thing to make any significant amount of ice. The little basket fills fairly quickly and you have to keep adding water. And of course the ice in the basket is not refrigerated, so if left out, will melt back into the water reservoir. The other negative is the footprint. It’s large enough that you need to find some precious space in the camper to store if you don’t leave it on a counter. Also, while not super loud, the fan and compressor make a fair amount of noise, not to mention the occasional clattering of ice cubes going into the basket. As far as the ice goes, these are not “cubes”, they are tiny hollow bullet shaped pieces of ice that form around the makers cold fingers. So they probably will not last as long as the cubes from a freezer or bagged ice in drinks or a cooler. As far as taste goes, the ice this makes is only as good as what you put in. I use filtered tap water from my camper. Bottled water is good too.I definitely recommend this ice maker as long you recognize its limitations. The price is about equal to 30 5 pounds bags of ice. And of course there’s the convenience factor of not having to go out for ice. There seem to be at least a dozen ice makers out there that look just like this one. This just happens to be the cheapest on I saw. It seems week made.

This thing makes ice well. It makes it in a sufficient amount of time without any hassle at all. There is some critique about how the ice comes out with a film of water, which makes them all coagulate together once you put them in the freezer (if you are mass making them as I am doing). Nothing that a slight slam in their container won’t fix, but other ice machines I’ve experienced in my friend’s homes don’t stick together like this.If there is one other thing that I could complain about, it’s that the machine comes with a scoop and yet there is no scoop holder anywhere on this machine. Your choices are to either let it become piled with ice or to set it down on the countertop—which to germaphobes or mild germaphobe is a threat.

The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because of the consistency of the ice cubes and how quickly they CAN melt. Otherwise I really enjoy this little machine. It isn’t so massive that I can’t have it out on the counter. It DOES make a decent amount of ice and overall (unlike many of thr reviews I read) it doesn’t take a ton of care. If you don’t use alot of ice throughout the day you can easily put the ice in a baggie and into a freezer for use later. If you let the ice sit it will melt your ice until it pushes the water back in from the melted cubes to make more. I mention ice cubes consistency because it is a smaller unit so the runnier/meltier ice cubes happen occasionally of the ice isn’t being used regularly. The only other downfall is cleaning the machine. I don’t like to tip it (my understanding is that is a no go for products with refrigerant?) So it is harder to get all the old water out to clean the machine. I use vinegar for a cleaning process. My machine is used daily for months now, with no issues (no leaking, issues powering on, issues producing ice, etc.) It has a hum and “ice drop” sounds to it but nothing i can imagine would keep you up at night.. Also makes ice quickly!

I’ve had two other countertop ice machines. One of them just lasted a year and I just missed the warranty… So I decided to splurge on this cause I live in South Florida and I have no ice machine in my fridge… The color is the perfect baby Barbie pink!!!!It’s a little bit heavier weight than any other ones I have used so I’m hoping that that’s because it’s more substantial… I purposely posted a picture of the sticker on top of the machine saying that the machine needs to sit upright for 24 hours before you plug it in and according to the directions, that’s pretty important!!! I’ve never noticed that or paid attention to the directions before but I wanted to put it in here so if you’re reading this and you order one which you should! It’s freaking awesome! Make sure you take it out of the box and set it up right the minute it gets delivered because it has to sit there for 24 hours before you can start making ice!!! It did take a good three hours or more to get it to start making decent ice when I first plugged it in to be fair I went to bed after waiting and woke up in the morning and the ice bin was full! And worked for seven hours came back and it was full!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌 I posted a pic with it next to the Keurig and an air fryer so you can see the sizing … (and yes my last ice machine was green 😆) it makes no noise except for when it’s dropping cubes, which is a wonderful sound of hear! Definitely need some room on the side for Erin and they can feel the hot air blowing out from it pretty strongly by putting my hand next to it so it definitely needs clearance on both sides. I think it takes the air in from the left side and exit hot on the right… .So to sum it up, but it !!! 🙌

This ice maker makes ice very quickly. However, it does not store it. It is not a freezer. My unit filled the storage tray in about an hour with a good amount of ice. As a test I just let it sit on the counter after it had shut off about half an hour later a good portion of the ice had melted and the rest of it was stuck together. If I emptied it as it was finished and even before it filled the bucket and put the ice into my freezer it worked very well. No complaints about the ice production. Those reviews that say they can make 26 lbs in a day are ridiculous. You would have to stay up for 24 hours emptying the ice and then refilling the water if you’re willing to dedicate that time to an ice maker fine but you just can’t make 26 lbs in a day. And you can’t have it make a batch and then let it sit there so it’s ready when you want to use it. It will melt. If you think about it it has to be above freezing because the compartment below the ice cubes is full of water if the unit was cold enough to keep the ice from melting the water below it would freeze. It works fine for my use. When my family comes over they drink a lot of iced tea so I put it out on the counter when I’m expecting them and I’m messing around in the kitchen anyhow so I can dump the ice out every half hour or every hour put it in the freezer. For that, it works fine. One other item one of the reviews said it makes two different size cubes. The unit I am reviewing does not there’s no option for different size cubes.

So maybe y’all read product descriptions in their entirety before purchasing and that’s great. I just read reviews mostly. For the convenience and price of this appliance, but give it 5 stars. The reason I don’t give it 5 overall, is because you can’t really produce ice cubes and then freeze them in yiur freezer. The ice cubes are too wet. They melt together and there’s no more cubes.People have complained about how loud it is. I have no idea what they’re talking about. It makes a little fan like noise while it’s making ice. A baby could sleep through it. If the ice cubes were more frozen so you could keep them separated, or the machine kept them frozen, I’d be extatic. But for $60, I’m a happy customer. I guess that’s why the other machines cost like $200. I keep the cubes in the refrigerator and although they melt a little bit, I can keep ice on hand. I recommend this little guy.

I’ve been running this 24/7 for a few months now and so far have not had any issue. It always has ice ready, plenty for about 1-2 glasses which for a single person is plenty enough. You do have to fill it up with water occasionally, but it’s easy as just pouring a couple glasses of water over the ice.I was worried that it might run out of water when I need ice the most and not have any ice, but it’s not really a problem because you can tell when it’s low on water not only because it has an indicator light to tell you, but even prior to the indicator light turning on the ice will look different. You see, the ice compartment and the water compartment are the same. At first that seems weird because wouldn’t the ice melt if it’s in the same compartment as standing water? It does, and it gradually melts into the bottom part of the compartment and when it fills up enough with water the machine just remakes the ice, so it is constantly working. That means you can tell when it is getting low on water because it will only have sufficient water to produce ice once enough of it has melted, so you will always find your ice partially melted rather than fully formed when you check the ice maker. When you see the ice all looks smaller than usual you know the machine is low on water and you can add water prior to the indicator light coming on.Thus, you never run into the problem of coming to the machine and finding there is no ice at all.My only complaint so far is that because the ice is technically always melting, it causes the ice to stick together. I stopped using the scooper that comes with it because very often the ice is clumped and I need to basically grab the clump with my hand and smash it down to break it apart. It’s not a huge deal because it’s fairly easy to do, but it is a bit annoying.Keep in mind the fact it is constantly working means you will hear it make noises even when you’re asleep. It’s not particularly loud, it is just every few hours you will hear the noise of the newly produced ice being dumped into the water/ice compartment. I don’t really care about this too much but I mention it in case this might bother other people.Personally, I like the machine a lot, and the only thing that will make me consider coming back and lowering my score is if it stops working sometime soon. I have not even been using this for a full year yet. If it does not last a year that would drastically impact my score. If it lasts at least 5 years I will not change my review at all.

Wife ordered and I wasn’t thrilled when it showed up, we have ice trays….The good..It works, makes a round of ice about every 6-8 minutes, it does not freeze it just melts back into the tank and keeps making ice. We let it run for about an hour and pour the basket of ice into a big ziplock bag and throw in the freezer. It will end up sticking together, but just break it back up like you would a bag of ice from gas station. Now the badIt sometimes goes stupid and I have to turn it off and back on. It is also noisy, I would not want it on all the time.I think it would be good for events or to make a bunch to put in the freezer, I wouldn’t want it on my counter and definitely not running all the time.

it does the same thing our last icemaker did before it stopped working completely and that is the ice piles up in the back instead of pushing ice to the front so it never really makes a full bin of ice unless you manually push the ice forward in the bin. other then that issue it works well. good soft chewable ice, just the way we like it!

I bought this ice maker in July 2024 and it was working just great until the early December when it just stopped making ice. It acted like it was making ice and then it would say add water, even though the tank was full of water (as shown in video). I contacted the manufacturer and their replies were prompt and courteous. They asked for some information and a couple of videos of the issue, which was all sent. A couple of recommendations on how to try to fix the problem was suggested, but the recommendations didn’t work. They sent out a replacement ice maker under the 1 year manufacturer warranty and was received in 3 days. When the ice maker is working, it makes lots of ice fairly quickly, a tad noisy whilst the compressor is on but nothing super interrupting. I do enjoy this ice maker and giving it a second chance since they replaced it hassle-free.

This is a good (not great) ice maker. It basically one of the Frigidaire knockoffs. The low-water sensor stopped working on the first one I bought. Returned and replaced with the same one that seems to be working fine. The one con, however, it that’s pretty loud.

I purchased this ice machine because we have needed one now for a bit as I really don’t appreciate buying bagged ice when my Fridge ice maker can’t keep up with our demand. Here in this house we are all ice lovers all year round no matter what the temp is outside. So to just have a backup I purchased this after reading the reviews of course. It’s definitely smaller then I thought BUT size has nothing to do with this mighty ice making machine. Wow. I am so impressed with how much this little thing puts out right away. It’s a awesome ice machine and that’s no lie. The water compartment is small but that’s not a deal breaker because filling it is no problem. Mine has a slight squeak and I am just thinking it may be because it’s new so no drama here. Take the time to appreciate the smaller things in life because this machine certainly does not put out ice like its small. Give it a try.

This little ice maker is amazing. I bought this for my trailer (rolling man cave) but I made the mistake of letting my wife see it and now she wants it., It really does make 9 little ice cubes within 6 min. They are round and have a hole it the middle of it so she likes them because she can bite them. It does have a tiny basket so if you are trying to make a bunch you need to empty it often. You just dump the water in the front under the basket so it’s easy to see the water level when you empty it. I should have counted how many baskets of ice it makes with one fill up. Only thing I would like to have had was some place on the side to hang the little scoop so it doesn’t get dirty. Nice compact size and super simple to set up and use. BTW it isn’t the same as a nugget type ice makers as my wife pointed out but I don’t care. It’s half the price and works better for what I’m doing. I’ll buy her a nugget one for her bday so I can have mine back. Perfect for your office or Rec room – or going back in my rolling man cave!!!!

The ice maker does what it should, it makes ice. I just wish it kept it cool longer. As it stands the ice melts back into the water chamber and remakes more ice.

Great Ice Maker.Needed constant ice for an ice machine that I used after shoulder surgery. This machine made extra ice that I used. I ran the machine around the clock for more than 2 weeks. It was terrific. I highly recommend it. It would do a great job for regular use. Provided first ice within about 9 minutes

Bought this after the refrigerator ice maker broke. This machine does pretty well. The only issue is it doesn’t keep ice cubes cold at all, so you have to tend to it and get them in the freezer promptly. Even then, cubes stick together but loosen up pretty easy since they are small.

best $45 I’ve spent in a while. Our ice maker is broken and this is a good fix while we are working on fixing it. Things to know- this unit requires you to pour the water in and to remove the ice. There is no freezer keeping the ice cold once it’s formed, so you need to do this when you are home. The little basket only holds ice from a few rounds. But, this little machine isn’t too loud and it works very quickly. I bought a returned item and gave it a good washing and it has worked great.

For the price point, this is a 5 star product. However, I’ll be clear about a few pros & cons.Pros: amazing value for the money. Doesn’t take up too much space. Not loud at all. The ice itself is perfect, not too hard. Perfect if you enjoy eating the ice cubes.Cons: the speed of the ice making is very slow, takes quite a long time to fill the basket. Ice does stick together almost immediately. You’ll need to purchase something to keep in ice in, and store it in your freezer. Prepare for all the ice to stick together even when frozen.I have used this product for a week, and so far it’s running great. Time will tell if that lasts. I use filtered water only, as others have suggested to do.For the price point, I highly recommend it!

Compact design. Making ice very fast. Under 5 min for a batch. However the basket is a bit small and the insulation is not very good so the ice melted after. Best is to make ice then put it in your freezer.

we love this thing! So easy to put together. The hardest part was waiting the 24 hours at the beginning before setting it up lol. Our ice maker broke in our fridge so this has been a lifesaver. The ice is super nice and chewable. Not as hard as I thought they’d be which is nice.

Works so far. A bit noisy and reuses the same water when the ice melts. That’s a plus-minus. Plus–one needn’t keep refilling it; Minus–does mold grow in it due to using the same water?

Our ice maker got fried in a power surge in our camper so I immediately looked at ordering a replacement. I didn’t see any description on this particular ice maker but 26 lbs and the good reviews. The ice maker came the next day and we were both surprised at its size…..little. I was willing to send it back but my husband said we’d give it a try. Talk about getting ice quickly, this ice machine makes ice super quickly! Yes, it’s small but we’re going to keep it and enjoy all the ice that it makes so fast! I’m giving it 4 stars only because of the size.

I’ve had this machine for approx 2 months now and use it every Sunday to make a batch of ice to last me the week. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t take up too much space on my counter, which I love! And for it’s size it still manages to produce a lot of ice in a little amount of time.I think I saw other reviews that mentioned the noise but I don’t find mine to be super loud. I don’t hear it running while I’m watching tv but I do hear the ice drop and that’s my cue to get up and transfer the cubes into a gallon ziploc I keep in the freezer. The machine doesn’t keep the cubes cold, so you do want to get them out of there before they start melting but honestly, I’ve forgotten about them for a few cycles and they weren’t melted and kept their shape nicely. The quality of your cubes will likely reflect the quality of the water used. I use distilled water and my ice comes out shiny and clear! No cloudy ice for me!

On the good side, it does make ice fast. On the bad side,it’s loud. Neutral, the “bullets” are hollow, so more surface area to cool your drink quickly, which also means they melt faster. Slightly alarming is the instruction to not plug anything else into the same receptacle. How would this even be possible? Since our refrigerator ice maker broke again, this is preferable to another large repair bill, but I may be looking for a different type of ice maker.

onestly didn’t think I’d ever love an appliance this much, but here we are. This ice maker spits out cubes faster than my family goes through wine at Sunday dinner—and believe me, that’s saying something. Easy setup, quiet operation, and the self-cleaning feature is a lifesaver for lazy guys like me who treat cleaning as optional. Ice tastes fresh, no weird plastic flavor like other cheap machines I’ve tried. Definitely recommend if you’re tired of running outta ice mid-party like a chump. Also, when I say quiet, I mean, it’s kind of loud at night when things are quiet but if you’re house is loud, you’re fine!

I bought this ice machine because the one built into my fridge takes forever—like, hours just to make a decent amount of ice. This countertop machine changed the game! I get fresh ice in just about 6 minutes, and I never have to worry about running out. It’s fast, quiet, and super easy to use. If you’re tired of waiting around for fridge ice, this is 100% worth it.

First of all, I was not aware that this ice machine only makes one size ice nugget. The ones I had before gave me a choice of two different sizes. Also, the unused ice cubes tend to melt a bit if they’re not used right away. The last thing that I was not thrilled with, was that it seemed to mildew on the bottom much quicker than it should. I started using it and within 5 weeks I had to clean the machine. In my last ice machine I was able to clean it every 6 months.

This ice machine is easy to set up and very simple to use. The ice is made in the time it states. The collection basket is not large, which works fine for me because I planned to make a bunch at a time and store in a bin in the freezer. My biggest complaint is that the ice is still wet when it’s dropped into the collection basket. Therefore, if you don’t empty it quickly, the cubes stick together and form a giant clump as they dry and harden.

I think it’s a good value since we use so much ice for drinks and the ice trays are always empty. I use tap water and it usually takes about 40 ounces of water. The ice will melt quickly straight out of the machine so I put it in a baggie and it freezes the ice harder. I haven’t had any problems and I’m happy with itTakes up about the same amount of space as a stand mixer.

I should say it does work. However, it throws off a tremendous amount of heat so you want to be mindful of that wherever you place it in your home. The ice that it produces is very thin and very small. I usually have to put it in the freezer to add some additional body to it. And it takes a long time for it to produce ice. I can’t recommend it

I purchased this late July of 2024. Ended up not using it until May of this year. I probably just got a dud, but it wouldn’t turn on. Since I was well outside of the NiceShine return window, and it has a 1 year warranty I contacted the manufacturer by phone. Really easy. After double checking my troubleshooting, they sent me an email and requested a screenshot of my invoice from NiceShine, and a picture of the model and serial number off of the ice maker. Two days later I got an email telling me that a new replacement unit was being shipped. Within a week, FedEx dropped off the replacement. That one works perfectly. I’m not going to penalize them for the first one having issues, because they stood by their warranty and made it right with IMHO minimal trouble. If I ever need another ice maker, I will definitely buy this brand.

My husband and I own an RV and this icemaker has proved to be worth it’s weight in and gold. When we get to a campsite, the first thing we do is plug this baby in and by the time we have set up camp we’ve got enough for one cocktail each. But the beauty is it just keeps going as long as you keep on feeding it water it keeps producing ice cubes works great. We’ve had no problems with it. Very simple operation. Tad noisy. No bother during the day however, I have gotten up in the middle of the night to turn it off.

I purchased this item through NiceShine Warehouse Deals, where it was listed as tested and functional. Despite carefully following all setup instructions, the machine did not work. It appeared to be in like-new condition, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to make ice. I’m unsure whether the issue was due to a rare defect or a problem with the product’s durability. Since I can’t determine the exact cause, I’m giving it a neutral review.

If it lasts at least 5 years I will not change my review at all.
yeahright –
Gregory W. Hansmann –
it does the same thing our last icemaker did before it stopped working completely and that is the ice piles up in the back instead of pushing ice to the front so it never really makes a full bin of ice unless you manually push the ice forward in the bin. other then that issue it works well. good soft chewable ice, just the way we like it!

A. Davis –

Vikequeen –

Overall, works pretty well. Quiet. Takes a lot of time, though.

Molly –
we love this thing! So easy to put together. The hardest part was waiting the 24 hours at the beginning before setting it up lol. Our ice maker broke in our fridge so this has been a lifesaver. The ice is super nice and chewable. Not as hard as I thought they’d be which is nice.
NiceShine Customer –
I would have given a 5 but this is a pain to empty water. The plug is UNDER the machine and hard to pull out and harder to push back in.
Jerod –
This fast and easy! This is actually the 2nd one we purchased, one for home and one for our camper. It makes ice quickly, in a matter of minutes. I can fill my whole freezer ice tray in about 1.5 hours vs the freezer ice maker that takes all day.
Abuela –
Works so far. A bit noisy and reuses the same water when the ice melts. That’s a plus-minus. Plus–one needn’t keep refilling it; Minus–does mold grow in it due to using the same water?
Vickie O. –
We have been wasting so much money buying bags of ice. This thing is AMAZING!! A little noisy but so nice to have!
Jack Kutchen –
Our ice maker got fried in a power surge in our camper so I immediately looked at ordering a replacement. I didn’t see any description on this particular ice maker but 26 lbs and the good reviews. The ice maker came the next day and we were both surprised at its size…..little. I was willing to send it back but my husband said we’d give it a try. Talk about getting ice quickly, this ice machine makes ice super quickly! Yes, it’s small but we’re going to keep it and enjoy all the ice that it makes so fast! I’m giving it 4 stars only because of the size.
Brier –
AB –
Love this! Small and makes ice quickly. I use it to make ice multiple times a day. No issues yet. It’s a little loud but I’ve gotten used to it – now it’s just white noise. Recommend

Customer Service is amazing! About 6 months after I purchased this unit, it stopped working. I registered the warranty included with the packaging and they are sending me a new unit free of charge. Hassle free and they are happy to assist.

Works great makes ice very fast thought i was going to have to wait forever for the ice but it makes it very quickly.

I love it I lost my booklet would you be able to sent me one

Awesome product. Produced ice in under 10 minutes Worked exactly and quickly as advertised. Good value

So happy with this purchase, I used to fill ice trays all the time, it was such a mess and time consuming. With this machine I pour water in the container and it does everything for me and ice is a perfect size for my coffees and beverages.Great value for your money and time. It doesn’t take too much room but you do need a little clearance on the sides so the fans can work without getting overheated.

Great Ice Maker!I’ve been using this Euhomy ice maker, and I’m really impressed with it. It works perfectly and starts producing ice in just about 6 minutes! It’s fast, reliable, and super convenient, especially when you need ice quickly. The design is sleek, and it doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. Definitely worth it if you need a steady supply of ice at home or for small gatherings!
Alisha Choquette –
Perfect for people who work outside. Buy the bags and the metal scoop and you will never have to purchase ice again.
Loren Miller –
High quality ice maker. It is self cleaning, durable and makes ice in minutes. This is one of my best buys. Love my ice maker. Would definitely recommend as I would purchase again.
Cecelia –
Love this ice maker! Small ice cubes so you can Crunch if you want. Small enough for kitchen counter. Basket holds enough for 2 glasses…only about takes about 10 minutes to refill.
Matt Thole –
I use this daily. It makes ice rather quickly. Haven’t had any issues with this product. Only wish was that it held more made ice in the storage bucket. But still glad I purchased one. Good for an at home bar or a house without an ice maker on their refrigerator.

Moved in with the kids, and now we have ice on demand. Yay!
Douglas Reams –
Absolutely one of the best ways to generate ice fresh ice at that of course you have to use bottled water that’s the whole purpose of getting clean ice but highly recommend it

Jerry –
It meets my needs for cocktail ice. The ice seems a little bit bigger than the last machine of this size. No complaints.
Dawn D –
Not the fastest to make a lot but works perfectly for our needs. I wish the basket was a little larger. I just set my watch to a 45 minute timer so I can empty 🙂

onestly didn’t think I’d ever love an appliance this much, but here we are.
John Pantera –
This one has a self cleaning feature that the previous version it replaced did not. Unfortunately, they used the same old drain plug that is a pain to get at. The cleaning must be done weekly. The drain plug makes it more of a chore.

Diane Hairston –
makes ice a lot faster than a lot of ice makers, love this
M –
This ice machine is easy to set up and very simple to use. The ice is made in the time it states. The collection basket is not large, which works fine for me because I planned to make a bunch at a time and store in a bin in the freezer. My biggest complaint is that the ice is still wet when it’s dropped into the collection basket. Therefore, if you don’t empty it quickly, the cubes stick together and form a giant clump as they dry and harden.

When my ice machine went down in my refrigerator I thought it was going to go out of my mind. This unit will put out as much ice as I need and I do need a lot of ice.It has been a life saver for me.
Emma Bedrossian –
Work well up to now and even if it doesn’t keep the ice cold it quick and we use the ice very quickly anyway. Good size and make enough for 2-3 people.
Shirletta –
Durability and great for taking on trips.
pam harris –
This arrived quickly and as described. I have only used it a couple of times but so far I am very pleased with it. It makes ice faster if you use cold water. I have to defrost my samsung frig ice maker every couple of weeks which is a pain, I think that I might buy my next frig without an ice maker.
Patti W. –
This ice maker is a work horse! The only negative is its small reservoir size which means the ice maker needs to be filled with water and emptied of ice frequently in order to accumulate any decent amount of ice.

Works great

Great ice machine for the money. Makes ice quick

Looks nice, good quality, works well
colette m. levinstein –
This is a solid machine. It takes about 15 minutes to start producing ice, and about 30 minutes to the full ice light comes on and it’s enough for about 2/3 people. I love having the ability to make ice on demand instead of running to the store.

Good price for money

I put 4 stars for now, it doesn’t make ice in 6 minutes. We will see how it works. The sticker on top says to leave it sit for 24hours before use which doesn’t make it seem to portable.Update while writing this review, it took 9 minutes for the first ice from the machine.
jolanda anderson –
This is a great icemaker . Its easy to use the instructions are very clear .When you first turn the icemaker on it goes through a cleaning process first . It makes ice quick . The first batch is thinner when you first turn the machine on . It gets thicker after that . The ice tastes good but I only put bottled water in the icemaker . We love this ice maker . Great purchase .

So glad I bought this. I read all the reviews, the articles on best affordable countertop, compared brands and features. I did my research. It fits perfectly on my counter and is easy to use. I’ve had it for a week, and it’s made such a huge difference. No more buying ice! Love it, great price – perfect for one person!!!
Macy Hammond –
great replacement after the one i had for a solid two years tuckered out. it’s been doing well so far so i’m pleased.

Great little icemaker! Bought one for a friend. Liked it so much, I bought another for myself.

Wonderful ice maker
Gayle Brown –
I think it’s a good value since we use so much ice for drinks and the ice trays are always empty. I use tap water and it usually takes about 40 ounces of water. The ice will melt quickly straight out of the machine so I put it in a baggie and it freezes the ice harder. I haven’t had any problems and I’m happy with itTakes up about the same amount of space as a stand mixer.
Kathy Dyer –
Small but meets my needs!
The Dude –

Our last machine we had for a few years and ended up getting rid of it due to the motor burning up. This one has been fantastic and I swear is resistant to mold/mildew build up. It is always running and making high quality ice at a quick pace. It is super compact taking up little space.
NiceShine Customer –
It works well, but often will show “add Water” when it is filled to the line. Must restart it often.
Dreia B –
Absolutely love this ice maker, it’s quick, low noise level and the ice is the perfect size.
Lorie Harris –
Just purchased this ice maker May 2025. The handle for carrying the ice maker was missing, but the most important part is it’s making ice and doing well so far! It was simple to set up and doesn’t take up a lot of space. At this point, I do not have any concerns and am happy with my purchase! Oh, we decided not return the ice maker due to the missing handle since it doesn’t interfere with the reason we purchased it!
NiceShine Customer –
Worked great but only lasted 1 year. It began making clicking sounds and would make ice or work in cleaning mode. Keep away from warm areas. It develops pink/brown mold quickly.
Brandy Stick –
Makes a lot of ice quickly. Great price!

Jeff G. –
I am glad I purchased this ice maker for our RV. It makes ice within 6 minutes. It beats using ice trays or buying ice. I haven’t had any problems with it since I purchased it a month ago. The ice does seem to freeze together in the freezer, but nothing an ice pick can’t handle. We use filtered water to fill the reservoir.
laura duarte –
Me encantó esta máquina de hacer hielo porque es rápida y haces los hielos bastante grandecitos y rápido, así es que me encanta por estas calores que hace aquí donde yo vivo que necesita hielo uno casi todos los días tarde y mañana
Brianna –
Works pretty good only maybe downside is the fan that cools down the hardware is kind of loud. Made a ton of ice within like five hours filled up my entire ice tray. Super easy to use!
CW –
I purchased this item through NiceShine Warehouse Deals, where it was listed as tested and functional. Despite carefully following all setup instructions, the machine did not work. It appeared to be in like-new condition, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to make ice. I’m unsure whether the issue was due to a rare defect or a problem with the product’s durability. Since I can’t determine the exact cause, I’m giving it a neutral review.
Jason –
Great little machine! My expectations were tempered but it cranks out great ice and quite a bit of volume. It’s plenty for two people all day long. It was great to have with a sprained ankle so I didn’t have to go out for ice (I live on an island). Highly recommend it if you’re looking for one.
