*Update*HOTO reached out to me and offered to send me another unit to try out. So far the new unit has worked well. Will update if any issues arise, but am happy overall with the duster and with HOTO’s commitment to customer satisfaction.Having purchased another HOTO product and being impressed by it, I was eager to try out this one. It performed it’s basic function well, the pressure it put out was formidable for it’s size.It started to not work well right away however. Something seemed to malfunction with the buttons, and I was unable to turn off the device, which is pretty distressing. In the end I had to just leave it on the floor while it ran out the battery. Also the decibel level is quite high when it is turned on. Would definitely recommend hearing protection if you are going to be using it for any extended length of time. I ended up returning this item after the issue with the power being stuck on, and not ordering a new one.

Ok so this unit is nice and powerful, ie : I¡¯m not using it for vacuuming my car or anything, as I think that¡¯s kinda ridiculous to have that kind of expectations for something that fits in your hand and obviously only has like an 8floz reservoir.. max. I use this bad boy to¡ let¡¯s start at 2. 2. Clean the keyboard. The compression this thing puts out with the heavily tapered end is impressive, not ¡°can of air¡± impressive but dang close and you don¡¯t have to worry about hitting the angle wrong and misting ice cold propellant on the sensitive bits. 1. ¡ª> the #1 reason I bought this specific make/model (HOTO compressed air capsule. Model QWCXJ001) is for sucking up these dang bugs! I work during the day, so when I get home and turn on the PC, I¡¯ve got 3 screens, the ladybugs and box elder bugs come out in force. Oh and I have as much RGB shut off as I can but my RAM is a nice little party all the time and my case side is glass. So anyway, this HOTO handheld is worth its weight in gold as its ability to suck a bug off a sensitive surface without getting very close is like nothing I¡¯ve ever seen! PS: big bonus, if you are buying this unit for the purposes I have, the vacuum attachment is very well built, with a tiny reusable hepa filter in it and the vacuum tunnel has a flap so they go in but they don¡¯t go out. (See second photo, I¡¯ve got some ladybugs and a fly!)

I bought this thinking it’d be the perfect thing to help me quickly clean up errant coffee grounds in my morning espresso making routine. I watched youtube reviews, and felt like i did my research and when it arrived my first impressions of the device were quite strong. The suction power is modest and diminishes with some of the longer attachments, but that was fine and within what I was expecting, and it seemed to do the job well. However a little over a month into owning it, it began to power itself down. First after 10-20 seconds, then after a few more times about 1-2 seconds. I have cleaned the device thoroughly, filters, attachments anything thats cleanable and I’m generally the kind of person to not run into this issues because of device maintenance. It seems like taking all the attachments off got it to run again but that’s not really useful at all. I’ve tried all sorts of reconfigurations, different attachments, charging fully repeatedly but no results. These days i can get 1-2 seconds and I think I’ve finally given up.Perhaps its some kind of safety mechanism if there isn’t enough suction–not really certain, but rest assure after spending about 2-3 hours fiddling with it this thing is going in the trash.

Of all the handheld vacuums I’ve tried, this one is my favorite so far. The blower feature is really handy as well. I’ve used it while dusting around the house, as well as while cleaning up after trimming my hair.I wish the battery life was a bit more robust, but it’s not bad as is.

When I first turned it on, I was BLOWN away. Literally, I didn¡¯t know the output fan was aimed at my face & I was surprised by how strong it was!??I originally got this little guy for sucking the old beans out of my espresso machine, but I recently discovered how vital its been in my household! I get so excited when I realize what I can use it for!I¡¯ve used it to clean my PC, suck cat hair out of my keyboard, detailed my Jeep, vacuumed spilled ground coffee, suck dirt out of the windowsill, & it also tackled that evil Christmas glitter in the seams of my dining table! I even used the narrow nose to vacuum seal small freezer Ziploc bags! (Keep in mind that those nozzles are for the blower end, not the vacuum, but I¡¯m a rebel)I got it half the price & would HIGHLY recommend getting one while its on sale!??Just a heads up, it¡¯s VERY loud. Don¡¯t get jumpscared like I did.??

Likes:1) quality2) form factor3) attachments4) Good air flow/suctionDislikes:1) Battery lifeI have several such devices for use on my computers, keyboards etc. This is the best so far. Good quality construction and good air flow or duster use. Suction is fair-good. The attachments are good quality, they fit onto the handle with a twist attachment which is far more secure than typical friction attachments. There are several for use in different applications. For delicate equipment you can control the air velocity via the switch and by using the appropriate attachment. Not as powerful as some canned air dusters, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. My only complaint is I seem to have to keep it on a charger to ensure there is enough power for next use. And, the charge is used up rather quickly depending upon the setting. I would buy it again.

Update: HOTO reached out and offered a full refund, my unit still works however what I can only assume was a gasket around the power button failed causing air to blow through it. I¡¯ve since adjusted my 2 star rating to 4 original review below.Definitely powerful but air started blowing through the power button and the battery doesn¡¯t last long in use. It¡¯s meant for light duty but love how strong it is as a duster. For vacuuming it¡¯s a bit weak but I¡¯m definitely not happy with air escaping around the power button.

We put this little vacuum next to our coffee grinder. Some of the beans we buy make a mess when ground. This vacuum does a great job of cleaning the mess quickly and elegantly. Before, we would wipe the counter a couple of times a day. The vacuum is more efficient. The vacuum is solidly constructed and works beautifully. It’s a lot nicer than most store bought hand-helds. It takes a few hours to charge up, but the charge lasts for weeks. It’s a bit of a luxury, but we are tidy people and take delight in such little luxuries. This is a well made vacuum for small cleanup. Highly recommended.

In the best way possible. Honestly it¡¯s come in handy in so many ways! Mostly use it for the coffee bar station, but we¡¯ve also used it to vacuum seal large clothing bags, unstick keyboard keys, and inflate inner tubes. My only 2 gripes are: 1, I wish there was a separate button for vacuuming and inflating (but I understand that it¡¯s simultaneously blowing out the air that it¡¯s sucking in), and 2, that it runs out of charge fairly quickly but I know that¡¯s just because it¡¯s so high powered. We can still get many uses out of it before it dies though. Seriously love this thing.

Love this for cleaning electronics like my computer or keyboard, I just wish it came with extra filters. Charging is slow and the battery drains pretty quick but you should never really need to use it for more than a minute at a time. Very powerful

If I could give this more stars I totally would! It is my favorite new gadget! It works amazingly well. Yes, it has a “short” battery life because it’s meant for quick stuff. It vacuums great and hold quite a bit in the filter area but my favorite is blowing the dust of everything! It’s so fun! Gets into every nook and you can just see it removing the dust. It’s honestly kind of addicting to use! Get your kids to help you dust the house, the car! Everything. It’s also very nicely built and packaged.

It gets the job done, but the pieces are easy to lose, especially with a toddler running around. The suction is great, and it cleaned my desk, keyboard, and MacBook perfectly. I wish you could cut off the blowing feature that comes from the opposite end while using the vacuum feature, but a nice breeze while vacuuming never hurts anyone.

Couldn’t love thing more. I bought it for work mostly to clean out computer fans/filters, but I’m using it for so much more. I’m shocked at the amount of air this thing moves. The vacuum works great and filters well. The blower is way stronger than any compressed air can. Not even comparable. The only con is that it’s louder than I had hoped, but considering how much more powerful than expected it is I can’t complain.

Been great since I¡¯ve bought it, only critique is the attachment with the brush collapses to easily, after a few minutes of barely brushing surfaces I notice it backs off almost everytime, that¡¯s all though

Had mine for a bit over a year. It stopped charging. It was OK while it lasted, but in retrospect it was not worth the cost given the short lifespan.EDIT: Hoto has great customer service and sent me a replacement!
