This is a really great pot! I love the wooden handles and the wood on the lid. I love the fact the separation is molded right into the pot. There is no way for the soup to mix or leak into each other. Super easy to clean! Well worth the money!

It looks like a good quality pot. Nice wooden handles and lid. You can make 2 different soups at the same time because of divider. For example, one side is vegetables, the other side contains animal proteins. Or one side is spicy the other side is not. It’s also to clean. It’s a good addition to my cookware.

I bought this pot because I loved the idea of being able to maximize stovetop space and cook two meals at once. It definitely lives up to the hype! Much deeper than I expected which is a good thing. It even came with a ladle which was a good touch and a nice lid. The packaging was also very well done. A great new addition to any kitchen!

Nice quality and good looking pot. Easy clean and saved some time. Saved on using multiple pots and cleanup to cook 2 different stews at the same time. Makes it easy to plan ahead and cook, eat and freeze different 1 pot meals . Came packaged and shipping protected really well with bubble protectors on the handles and a ‘skirt’ around the lid which was nice – so no chance of damage from delivery mishaps.

It is great for someone who cooks for several people but don’t want to make a ton of dishes. I made teriyaki on one side and rice on the other and was completely floored with how good it came out. This also cleans so well. I would buy a whole set of these

This is where the divider comes in handy. If you like to eat hot pot this is a good replacement for the cheap thin metal pods they usually com with a propane gas burner. This one work also with a small electric/induction burner. It can keep the temperature more on the same level even for a longer session. It is big enough for a family and easy to be washed after using it.It comes with a non scratching scoop. As with all non stick coated pods you need to be gentle with sharp tools and too much heat.

This pot is of really good quality, and if you plan to make shabu-shabu, it would be perfect! We first used it to make some regular soup! One downside of it, which we didn’t think of, is if you need to strain anything or put it into another container, it’s a little difficult and took some maneuvering. However, it works great!

This pot works perfect for that.I’ve andI cooked and reheated rice at the same time in this pot and it’s so conviebf that I can do two meals at one time or cook two entrees at the save time. This pot is also very easy to clean

This hot pot provides durable high quality material. The material underneath balances the heat distribution which is important to evenly cook. It also comes with a rubber ladle. It is big enough for a party of 5-6.

This nonstick hot pot is super nice! It is sturdy and well made. The handles are wooden and comfortable to hold/grab. The lid has a nice wooden handle as well. It comes with a ladle and a cloth protective strip for the lid as shown in the pictures. I really like this hot pot and look forward to making something superb in it soon.

This is a nice 5 qt stock pot. It has a special magnetic conduction bottom letting it heat up quickly and evenly. The non stick coating makes for easy clean up. The handles on this look like real wood but are a type of heat-resistant rubber that stay cool to touch while cooking while looking attractive. The pot is priced on the higher end but is well worth it. This would also make a nice gift. You can’t go wrong with this.

Attractive, the hot pot has all the right touches, from the wooden handle to the trim on the lid. I wish all cookware looked as nice as a standard.I used this pot to initially make enough Chilli for two. The pot is easy to clean and relaxed the red sauce, leaving no residue.I have not had the pot long enough to test for durability but, happy to update as more use occurs. Overall, I’m happy with this pot.

I ordered the non-divided stock pot. The creamy grey-white color of the pot alongside the woodgrain look of the handles and the lid holder makes this pot an eyecatcher. It is lovely to cook with and it is lovely when stored on an open shelf. I ordered it specifically for stews, soups and chili as my old pot has seen its best days. The size and the weight of this pot is nice and will work for my needs perfectly. Overall, I think this pot would be a nice “special occasion” gift for the person in your life who loves to cook…that includes you!

By “starter piece” I mean that it may be starting in MY kitchen! I have a recipe for Mexican rice that uses a lidded pot this style and the pot I have been using is too small. This is a fantastic pot that could fit an entire meal in one. It’s honestly attractive enough that it could also double as a serving dish for the prepared meal as well.

I love alone and this pan comes in so handy for me. I don’t like to cook too many large meals but when I do, I found this to be a blessing. You can cook 2 items at once, it doesn’t have to be soups, I have used it for beans and corn at one time and other vegs at once. I recommend this. It is so easy to clean and One Less Pan to clean.

One of my favorite things about this item is that it simplifies the amount of cookware needed to make a multi step meal which then in turn reduces cleanup. The pot is made from a sturdy material that also makes it look luxurious. Downsides: the size is a bit bigger than a standard burner which means that the items on each side may not cook evenly or get the amount of heat you would like it to.

The bottom is aluminum not stainless steel as the web description indicates. It turned black after one wash in dishwasher. And leaves black stain everywhere. It’s not transferring heat very well either. The soup rarely boiled on the electric stove when we used it for hotpot. Very disappointed.

For those of you who likes to use one item for multiple purposes might want to rethink this pot. I only use it for hot pot. It looks nicer than it actually is. The handles look like wood but it’s not. Although I don’t think this pot is worth the price, it does function well as a hot pot. The liquid from one side hasn’t seeped into the other side, which is the only real deal breaker for me, so yup, if you need a hot pot and money is of no concern to you, this pot will work.

Positives: The pot is very nice quality. The inside has a nice non-stick coating that seems to work well, and the bottom supports heating on just about any stove type. The handles stay cool even when the rest of the pot is hot, as does the handle on the lid. The lid isn’t warped and fits fine, but note that it is quite loose and can wiggle a bit (see video). The included ladle was also nice; it’s silicone, and while it has a tad bit of flexibility, it’s rigid enough to hold soup with no issues. The pot is also 5qts as it says, although 5qts will fill it to the brim. More on that later.Negatives: If you have burners and pots to spare, this is far more inconvenient than just using those. For one, if you have to cook some things (like browning meat before adding other chili ingredients), you can’t drain fat effectively (if you have stuff in the other side, it’s more difficult to drain, but even if you don’t you likely will drain some juice into the other side on accident). You also have less surface area in each side to do your initial browning/cooking, which means things cook slower initially, even though the pot does warm quite effectively. The divider shape makes it SO frustrating to scoop soup out of the corner and also makes it more difficult to scrub clean. Lastly, if you plan to fill all 5qts with two different soups, don’t. the divider doesn’t quite come to the top of the pot, but the 2.5qts do, so if you fill that much in each side, you will (a) not be able to stir it, and (b) the soups will leak into each other. I’d advise not going much over ~4qts if you’re cooking two types of soup and don’t want them mixing. So, my verdict:This pot is worthwhile if: (a) you need more things cooked at a time than you have burners on your stove, (b) you’re cooking for picky eaters, and plan to cook the same thing in both sides minus, say, onions or something. This pot with divider is probably NOT worth buying if: (a) you just want to try cooking two different things side-by-side for fun/comparison (I promise, you’re better off using two different pots if you have room). (b) you want to do less dishes after dinner (cleaning the two pots is easier than dealing with the hassle of using this and then the hassle of cleaning the divider corners).TLDR; The quality of this product is good, but the divider makes it a pain. I’d highly recommend purchasing the variant without the divider if you are going to purchase one of them. It’s an exciting idea that’s just not as practical as it appears.

The coating is bad. Only used 1 time for boiling, no scratches. But the coating at bottom forms small bubbles in between coating and metal, and when bubble broken, coating drop off and release black color stuff. Very bad quality coating, be aware!

If you want a Shabu Shabu pot this one won’t disappoint. At first I wasn’t sure about the handles, they seem awkward the material didn’t feel sturdy…but nope they are GREAT, they stay cool so it makes it easy to use them without pot holders. The pot heated evenly and is good size so it’s great for feeding a large family. I would buy other pots from this company if they all are made with this quality. The only complaint is that it does take up a lot of room in a cupboard.

I have never had hot pot or shabu shabu before! So got the recipes for it and gave it a go. Absolutely amazing! I wish I had of tried this before! Its so easy and it keeps the food hot for over 2 hours. I ended up getting a portable burner for the table and now it stays hot for a long time. Its very easy to clean and store. Its actually very big which is a bonus! Great for a house warming gift idea!

If you’ve ever wanted to do hot pot, Shabu-Shabu, Teppanyaki or even fondue at home this is a good pot to have. With an induction plate and the basics you can have a quiet meal or host a party. The chambers are wide enough to accommodate large amounts of sauces, vegetable, proteins, or whatever you prefer. We’ve been using it to keep ramen on the on the one side and to keep our stir fry warm on the other. We’ve also done fondue with it. The pot is non-stick, clad, aluminum with a magnetized bottom. I’m not a huge fan of aluminum, but when clad, used on an induction plate and cleaned carefully I’m less concerned and it is a good option for sauces. So, grab your favorite sauces, recipes, an induction plate and one of these pots and you are on your way

I just now opened this skillet and I am not waiting another minute to write my review. I was super impressed! First, they do a magnificent job packaging. Then the first thing I noticed was the lid that had a big wooden handle. How great is that? And the skillet is deep, it’s bigger than you can imagine. And it’s heavy! Which is a good thing for heat distribution. And the skillet itself has wooden handles. No chance of burning your hands. I was shopping for a skillet, and I saw some at HomeGoods not nearly as nice for the same price or more. I’m glad I waited and got one on NiceShine! This is going to be so handy to only dirty one skillet for two different items on my meal. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate, you are going to love this skillet!

Swish swish is the sound the meat makes when it swishes thru the broth. It is Japanese word “shabu shabu” for swish swish and it is the style of this way of cooking and eating. My husband’s grandmother by marriage was Japanese and she had one of these hot pots, he said. He really wanted one and wanted me to learn how to use it.I like how you could literally have boiling water on one side of the pot and sliced mushrooms on the other side and the water would not seep thru to the mushrooms side.Put salt and pepper shrimp one side and shoyu chicken the other side. The possibility is endless.Heavy, well made pot. Well fitting glass lid. Wood accents handles and lid top.Comes with the best ladle I have ever used. Ladle has a straight edge that is good for scraping the bottom and then it’s curved nice for scooping too. Silicone ladle to withstand the heat. The pot is large enough for even 4 people to eat from, depending on how big the appetite. We love this pot!

The pictures of this pot on the seller’s page are clear and accurate, so I didn’t photograph mine for review purposes. I got the black granite enamel finish and was surprised by just how weighty the pot turned out to be…really nice quality! I frankly had not heard of a Shabu Shabu pot before, and I ordered this accidentally. Am I ever glad I did! It conducts heat evenly and allows one to cook either 2 different dishes or an entree and sauce at the same time…a time and energy saver. The pot itself is deep…somewhat akin to a wok, and there are wooden handles on both the pot and the glass lid, making it easy and safe to handle the pot while cooking. It also came with a nice silicone ladle for scooping up the contents after cooking. The product was securely boxed and packed for shipping, showing care on the part of the vendor. I think the price asked is reasonable, and I am considering purchasing another pot as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. I recommend this product.

I’m a vegetarian, my husband loves chicken; what to do? This pan is such a great solution! If you’re not familiar with the idea of a hotpot (I wasn’t), you can cook two kinds of liquids, etc in it simultaneously and cook whatever you’d like, very quickly. In this case, left is chicken broth, right is veggie; I don’t have a picture of the completed meal, but it was full of veggies, and tofu for me, and chicken for him! Great idea!Ideally you boil everything on a hotplate set on the table, while enjoying a long evening cooking and conversation (like raclette), but we don’t have the hotplate, and this worked just fine for us.The pot is of great quality, and even comes with a silicone ladle! I was amazed by the care that had gone into the packaging (see the photo with the lid: it has a little ‘skirt’ to protect the edges!). I’m in love with this pot!

Our family went to Japan many, many years ago and fell in love, with the people, the country, AND the food. Since then, Japanese food has been the favorite food of everyone in our family. As I love cooking more than I love anything else, as soon as we got back from Japan, I rushed to one of two Little Tokyo areas in Los Angeles and bought: the definitive Japanese cookbook for English speakers, and all the accoutrements needed to make Japanese food that would not only taste, but feel authentic. I’ve had everything I needed since then, with the exception of a shabu-shabu pan.The moment the Desin pot arrived, I headed back to Little Tokyo and bought all the ingredients to make a celebratory shabu-shabu dinner. Shabu-shabu, like sukiyaki, is cooked communally at the table. It’s essentially a broth made from kombu (dried, giant kelp), and the accumulated flavor of thin slices of premium beef that your family or guests dip in a simmering broth. The flavor of the broth intensifies as more eaters swish their beef slices in the broth. On the other side of the shabu-shabu pan, some vegetables will be simmering. As the vegetables cook, you dip them in one of two sauces. You do the same with the cooked slices of beef. When all there’s left in the pan are the delicious juices of beef and vegetables, shiratake (yam noodles) are swirled in the pan and then served to the guests. The Desin arrived beautifully and carefully packaged. The glass lid even had an elastic protector around the edges, almost like a hair net. The pot is also a good size — plenty for four, which is as many people as I’d want at the table cooking communally. The Desin also comes with a ladle, which you’ll need. But what you’ll also need that the Desin doesn’t have, is a skimmer. As family or guests dip their slices of beef in the kombu broth, scum or foam will form on the surface (as it would if you were making any meat soup). This scum should be skimmed off the top by whomever is hosting the dinner. At shabu-shabu restaurants, there’ll always be an attendant stopping by your table with a skimmer often.Truthfully, a traditional shabu-shabu pan has a cone in its center and no divider. So calling the Desin a shabu-shabu pan is a stretch. The divider in this pan is more traditional to Korean hot-pots (where some people like it spicy, and some not). Nevertheless, I’m happy to use this pot as a multitasker: for shabu-shabu, Korean hot pot, and even sukiyaki. In the case of Japanese shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, I’ll be happy separating the beef from the vegetables. And should a guest come to dinner who would prefer to eat chicken rather than beef, the divider will be perfect. The Desin is a nicely made pan/pot; and I particularly like that the handles don’t get hot, because cooking at the table over a butane stove gets cooking vessels just as hot as cooking on your stove top.The 4 Stars instead of 5 Stars I’m giving the Desin is because it shouldn’t be called a “shabu-shabu” pan.

We are not as familiar with the Hot Pot setup as we would like to be, so when we ordered this product; it was more for the capacity and the ease of use for multi pot dishes. To start, this product truly is non-stick, in every sense of the word. We have made everything from basic cheese sauces to rice based dishes and even marshmallow based desserts in this dish and it required nothing more than hot water and our normal dish sponge to clean right out without any scraping. Being able to transfer this dish from the cooktop to a portable burner is a neat feature and it doesn’t feel or look out of place in the centerpiece of all of the other ingredients that would go into the soup or tacos if you were to go that route.I would definitely advise against using any utensils that aren’t plastic however, as the on-stick coating does feel a little on the thin side and I fear scraping a layer of the coating right off if someone were to use a metal utensil on this. The capacity of this product is enough to feed a family of 6 without having to pull out a very large stock pot and I can definitely see where this would work well for a Hot Pot scenario.Don’t get hung up on the title of the product or what it’s intended use is – this is a great 5 Qt pot that cleans up easily and cooked evenly and has so many uses built in that make it a great buy no matter what. Definitely recommend!

I’m always looking for new pans to use on my induction burner and this pot intrigued me with its possibilities. This unique pan is divided by an S-shaped partition, giving it two halves for cooking. It comes with a glass cover that has a stay-cool handle and a vent.Traditionally, Shabu Shabu pots are used to contain a broth on one side of the divider, and thinly sliced beef or pork on the other side. The thinly sliced meats are dipped into the boiling broth and then into a sauce before eating. This is usually done at the table. An induction burner makes this possible without needing to use an open flame. But this pan has other possibilities, such as boiling pasta on one side and sauce on the other, or noodles and soup. Or I have done pepper steak on the left and rice on the right, or meat and vegetables, etc.One of the disadvantages of using an induction burner is that you can’t boil your pasta and make the sauce at the same time. This pan is the solution! And when it’s done, there’s one pan to wash, not two. It’s a well made and easy to clean pot that’s large enough for most cooking tasks and it’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine. And it works on all my other cooktops, too. I would recommend it to anyone looking to use fewer pans for everyday meals!

First and foremost this is definitely worth the price point. It is a high-quality induction hot. The divider in the middle is fantastic for cooking. If you have no idea what you would do that I would suggest, like I did, try making some spaghetti sauce at the same time. This has endless uses and give me the price point and quality of product. I would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic pot for having hot pot with family and friends. The divider allows you to have two different soup bases (usually one spicy and the other nonspicy) to satisfy everyone. Since the divider is made of one piece with the base of the pot, not only does it prevent soup from leaking through, but it’s also easy to clean. The design prevents residual oil or grease from being trapped in corners. The pot itself heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly. I typically use this for hot pot, but it can also be used to saute or stir fry two different dishes at the same time, instead of using two separate pans. The pot is supposed to be scratch-resistant, but I would avoid using metal utensils still. The wood handles are heat resistant and are another excellent design feature.Product is made in China.

– Made in China- They stuck a big ladle inI don’t know why but suddenly the last year, so much of the cookware coming from these foreign Alibaba-esque resellers has had Bakelite handles. That’s 1950’s “technology” and was never meant for heat applications. It’s brittle and cracks easily plus gets dingy and stained from heat.Having said that, this pot’s darker Bakelite isn’t showing the heat stains like the usual lighter type. Shape wise, I also think it fits the look of the pot.The pot is plenty sturdy, including the divider. It is not removable. This is very useful for a lot of things and can greatly expand the variety of “one pot meals”. It’s also perfectly fine to use for normal stuff like two side dishes. We have a shabu shabu that’s integrated into a griddle. This separate one opens up a lot more uses. We like it, except for the Bakelite.

We love hot pot and loved the look of this pot. Its divider is seamless and looks like its a single unit. It has a large capacity and heavy duty feeling. Love the wooden handles look and feel. Its heats up evenly and holds temperates a lot better than the other thin metal pot. This one is also so easy to clean.

This is a very nice quality pot. For hot pot you can either hold the meats and veggies in one side and a broth in the other, or you can fill both sides with two different broths. The lid has a little vent and a heat proof handle. The product also comes with a ladle so you can easily get your meats and veggies out when having hot pot. It is dishwasher safe and non-stick.I will be using this pot to make hot pot, but it can be used for so many more things! You could easily make two different kinds of soup, spaghetti and sauce on two different sides, meat on one side with veggies or rice on the other, this truly is versatile.

This is such a great pot for either hot-pots OR for when you want to cook 2 foods and don’t want to mess with multiple pots. It is HUGE…each side holds a large quantity of food! Very pleased with the purchase! The only thing you cannot do is drain off one side, like noodle water, if you have food in the other side.

I like this dual hot pot for many different purposes. I like to make hot pot recipes just like the restaurant and it’s useful for making spicy and non spicy dishes without dirtying a second pot. The middle divider is molded with the pot so it doesn’t come out which is a good thing. The handles are wooden which helps with them not getting too hot to hold and it comes with a wooden spoon. It heats up evenly, and I’ve had no problems with using it.

So I’m a big fan of hot pot cooking in general but I actually bought this pan because there are different dietary needs in my family. So when I go to make a meal I sometimes have to add different things at the end of the meals and I have to split things up. So the nice thing about this pan is that I can actually cook two meals in one on this pan. So I can still make spaghetti but I can do it according to everybody’s dietary needs at the same time. So I can make two different kinds of pasta. I can make two different kinds of dip. I can make two different kinds of sauces. And I can do it in the same pan. Because of dietary restrictions it is very difficult to be able to cook dinner and make everyone happy without using three or four pans. This makes it where I only have to use one and I can do the same thing. This has really been useful for me. And it’s so easy to clean. I use this pan everyday. I don’t even put it in the cabinet anymore. I just sit it on the counter. Whether you want to do hot pot, make two meals at once, or just want to use less pans, this is an incredible pan to own. Worth every penny.

This is a really nice and really great quality pot. It feels hefty and heavy and is pretty easy to clean. I take issue with the lid, however, as it sits on top of the pot with a bit of a gap and doesn’t have a complete seal, as though the lid was just by a very small amount too small.

This shabu shabu pot is easily the best I’ve ever used. There is no welding to separate the two soup bases and no way to screw it up unintentionally. It works on my gas and induction burners before and after liquid is added. It can seer meat in both chambers and boil mild/spicy in either. It’s the best Shabu Shabu I have ever owned and likely the last I’ll need.

When it comes to hot pot, there are two kinds of people: spicy lovers and everything else. When I feel like sharing with others, I pull out this pot for our misguided guests. At 5 quarts, this pot is a nice size for about 4 people. I like that it is also non-stick in case you want to sear some food for the early rounds also. Though it does make it scary to use with metal serving spoons, so you might want to consider switching to silicone. The pot feels really high quality and will last a lifetime if you keep it away from metal!

This works great on our induction burner on our table as the centerpiece for a weekly hot pot. My wife and I prefer different levels of spice so this solves a lot of that conundrum. It’s easy to clean, and feels sturdy. We’ve only used it a few times but this will be a staple for a long time to come in my home.

I am suprised with this pot! Always wanting to make shabu shabu but unfortunately do not know how to make the soup. But found a store that makes the soup went there and bought this pot on prime deals and best decision ever. The weight is just right. It has 2 compartments just like in a shabu shabu restaurant. No leakage. Cleaning the pot is easy. Non- stick so no residue whatsoever and it preserves the taste of the food. Good quality pot!

This pot truly impressed me. The divider allows for cooking two different flavors simultaneously, and the nonstick surface makes both cleaning and cooking a breeze. It’s compatible with various cooktops, and the included soup ladle is a fantastic addition. Overall, I couldn’t find any negatives to mention.

We use this product a few times, my wife who is a chef has struggled to find dishes that are compatible. By that I mean ones that will go together with each other as the flavors do merge when cooking. Cheese casserole and baked beans for example results in the casserole tasting and smelling like beans. It’s a well made product, easy to use, easy to clean, has great heat distribution and we are just struggling to find uses for it.

I’m more of a picky eater than him so sometimes we will separate a sauce or a meal into two and he can add more to his and leave mine alone so it’s been amazing!

I got this for a birthday gift to go with my hot pot grill and I think it’s very aesthetically pleasing and holds a lot of volume but after a few uses, I’ve noticed some bubbling and warping on the pot which I’ve shown in the photos. It also is starting to get a little bit stained from spicy hot pot broth so maybe go for a darker colored pot. I also never got the split divider part that is indicated in the photo. I like it but I probably will just buy a different pot to go with my hot pot!

This pan is high quality. I love that I can cook vegetarian and non vegetarian in the same pan. The only reason I withheld a star is because I can’t figure out an easy way to get the cooked food out. In a normal plan, I would just pour the food out, but I can pour anything out of this pan without it comingling. Each side isn’t really large enough to fit a large laddle so it takes quite a bit of time to scoop all the food out on one side before being able to pour it out the other side.

We love hot pot in our house. I had previously bought a pan from the Asian supermarket and was disappointed when the broth leaked between the shoddy welding of the divider. I was a little hesitant because of the price of the Dezin pot, but it was definitely worth it. There is no weld line on the divider and no leaking. We can each choose our own broth on both sides. Build quality is great. Handles are not cheap plastic like other pots. Cleanup is super easy, even after punishing it with an hour of cooking on a portable butane burner. If you enjoy hot pot, you can’t go wrong with this pan.

Quality product but does not heat quickly or evenly between the two sides. Induction stove cooked stainless steel much more quickly and hotter. Paid full price so might only be worth it on sale. The single mold is nice. Very light and does not stick. Cleaning is fine. and the size is very large for the induction stove. Fair product. Fashion and function but at a lower effective heating on induction. Electric stove is good and the pot stays flat. Mixed review as I really love to give it a thumbs up if the heating was better. 4 1/2 stars for fashion and function.

Alexis –
This pot is of really good quality, and if you plan to make shabu-shabu, it would be perfect! We first used it to make some regular soup! One downside of it, which we didn’t think of, is if you need to strain anything or put it into another container, it’s a little difficult and took some maneuvering. However, it works great!

I wanted this to reheat food since I don’t use a microwave and prefer to reheat food on the stove.

R Naiser –
This is a nice 5 qt stock pot. It has a special magnetic conduction bottom letting it heat up quickly and evenly. The non stick coating makes for easy clean up. The handles on this look like real wood but are a type of heat-resistant rubber that stay cool to touch while cooking while looking attractive. The pot is priced on the higher end but is well worth it. This would also make a nice gift. You can’t go wrong with this.
N. T. Daniel –
Kaylor Ann –
I ordered the non-divided stock pot. The creamy grey-white color of the pot alongside the woodgrain look of the handles and the lid holder makes this pot an eyecatcher. It is lovely to cook with and it is lovely when stored on an open shelf. I ordered it specifically for stews, soups and chili as my old pot has seen its best days. The size and the weight of this pot is nice and will work for my needs perfectly. Overall, I think this pot would be a nice “special occasion” gift for the person in your life who loves to cook…that includes you!
Tara –
It is durable and well made. The pot is heavy and I love the wood accents on the handles and the lid. It is a very attractive pot and cooks evenly. So far I am very impressed
Jessica Pack –
By “starter piece” I mean that it may be starting in MY kitchen! I have a recipe for Mexican rice that uses a lidded pot this style and the pot I have been using is too small. This is a fantastic pot that could fit an entire meal in one. It’s honestly attractive enough that it could also double as a serving dish for the prepared meal as well.
Sadistic Blessed –
I love alone and this pan comes in so handy for me. I don’t like to cook too many large meals but when I do, I found this to be a blessing. You can cook 2 items at once, it doesn’t have to be soups, I have used it for beans and corn at one time and other vegs at once. I recommend this. It is so easy to clean and One Less Pan to clean.
Sabrina –
One of my favorite things about this item is that it simplifies the amount of cookware needed to make a multi step meal which then in turn reduces cleanup. The pot is made from a sturdy material that also makes it look luxurious. Downsides: the size is a bit bigger than a standard burner which means that the items on each side may not cook evenly or get the amount of heat you would like it to.
JZ –
The bottom is aluminum not stainless steel as the web description indicates. It turned black after one wash in dishwasher. And leaves black stain everywhere. It’s not transferring heat very well either. The soup rarely boiled on the electric stove when we used it for hotpot. Very disappointed.
WordisGold –
For those of you who likes to use one item for multiple purposes might want to rethink this pot. I only use it for hot pot. It looks nicer than it actually is. The handles look like wood but it’s not. Although I don’t think this pot is worth the price, it does function well as a hot pot. The liquid from one side hasn’t seeped into the other side, which is the only real deal breaker for me, so yup, if you need a hot pot and money is of no concern to you, this pot will work.
David –
For now I can tell that the pot is very big nice quality and heavy I need to use it and come back to tell you … interesting design
Someone Else –

DanaDone –

This is my new favorite pot. As I am able to do two different dishes in the same pan at the same time without taking up extra space on my stove. This way I can add an extra item to cook those elaborate meals. It’s easy to clean and very heavy weight, high quality material great value.

I just received this pot and there are some cracks where the separator joins, it’s cracking on the surface of the coating, I can’t use it because it will peeling off.

Got this for my mom and she absolutely loves it, heavy duty and durable. Great quality, if you’re looking for something to do a hot pot meal with two separate flavors, 10/10 recommend.

This pan worked perfectly to make pho and curry. I was able to make both at the same time easily.

Pretty looking and great quality

I like this dual hot pot for many different purposes. I like to make hot pot recipes just like the restaurant and it’s useful for making spicy and non spicy dishes without dirtying a second pot. The middle divider is molded with the pot so it doesn’t come out which is a good thing. The handles are wooden which helps with them not getting too hot to hold and it comes with a wooden spoon. It heats up evenly, and I’ve had no problems with using it.
Kate Creenan –
Heat distribution is unreal, such a great quality pan! The lid fits perfectly and creates amazing results. The pot is so well made, I’m extremely impressed. Worth every penny!!

So our household is really into hot pot and ramen..this pot is perfect! I’ve been using one side for the noodles and the other for the extras going in. Pretty sturdy, non stick and easy to clean.

I bought this for a gathering I had at my house with 10 people, and it was perfect. Matches the rest of my cookware that I got from Masterclass

Cat doll –
This is a really nice and really great quality pot. It feels hefty and heavy and is pretty easy to clean. I take issue with the lid, however, as it sits on top of the pot with a bit of a gap and doesn’t have a complete seal, as though the lid was just by a very small amount too small.
Martinson8672 –

The pot feels really high quality and will last a lifetime if you keep it away from metal!

hot pot now in home

This works great on our induction burner on our table as the centerpiece for a weekly hot pot. My wife and I prefer different levels of spice so this solves a lot of that conundrum. It’s easy to clean, and feels sturdy. We’ve only used it a few times but this will be a staple for a long time to come in my home.

Be careful, The hotpot is too hot when using it because it is made with aluminum. This is big different from what we had a hotpot in steel.I wouldn’t recommend it even I didn’t return it.
Thomas Le –
The pot is not inductive as they stated. Please make sure you know this when purchasing. We have been looking for one that has double serving sides that is inductive – to no avail.
Cody Walker –
Got this for meal prepping and it does wonders to make a full meal in a pot without food touching. i love it.

We enjoyed Japanese shabu shabu and sukiyaki at home.I also used it to make two different soups, stews and curry.I’m very happy I got it.
Mom2boys –
Nice weight to the pan without being heavy, smooth handles. Pleasantly surprised at how large each section can hold. Love the dual chambers, Perfect to accommodate family preferences. Worked great on our tabletop induction burner.
JDubb –
Surprisingly larger than expected. Fed my family of four, easily. I didn’t expect to like having the pot divided, but I do! This works great with my portable induction cooktop.
Crizzy_808 –
I am suprised with this pot! Always wanting to make shabu shabu but unfortunately do not know how to make the soup. But found a store that makes the soup went there and bought this pot on prime deals and best decision ever. The weight is just right. It has 2 compartments just like in a shabu shabu restaurant. No leakage. Cleaning the pot is easy. Non- stick so no residue whatsoever and it preserves the taste of the food. Good quality pot!
liam09 –
This pot truly impressed me. The divider allows for cooking two different flavors simultaneously, and the nonstick surface makes both cleaning and cooking a breeze. It’s compatible with various cooktops, and the included soup ladle is a fantastic addition. Overall, I couldn’t find any negatives to mention.

It’s perfect for hotpot! We used it on our induction cook top and loved it!

I bought this pan because I cook primarily for my husband and I. This pan is like a kitchen helper. You can cook two things at one time without using additional pots and pans.I think this would be a great gift.

Looks good and works even better

We use this product a few times, my wife who is a chef has struggled to find dishes that are compatible. By that I mean ones that will go together with each other as the flavors do merge when cooking. Cheese casserole and baked beans for example results in the casserole tasting and smelling like beans. It’s a well made product, easy to use, easy to clean, has great heat distribution and we are just struggling to find uses for it.

I love this product.

I got this on a flash deal for my boyfriend. In all honesty, I probably wouldn’t have bought it for its normal price because it is expensive but it has worked out amazing for us and our cooking!! I’m more of a picky eater than him so sometimes we will separate a sauce or a meal into two and he can add more to his and leave mine alone so it’s been amazing!

Love this pan

Liked the pan, but lid handle broke. Have not been able to replace handle.

Buuut…… you can’t drain anything, if you make pasta in one side when it comes to draining the pasta it seems impossible with the other side being full of contents 😡

Easy to clean extremely good as a hotpot. 这个做火锅很好用

Worked well over an electric portable stove burner. Like the divider setup for 2 different broths

It’s perfect for busy days when I want variety without the hassle. This clever tool makes meal prep so much more efficient and enjoyable. #cooking

Nice looking pan, works great on my induction burner, let it simmer for 2-3h and then cooled it completely before cleaning it. Very easy to clean, Some hot water was all it took to get it mostly clean. Very happy with this purchase!
Terry Wu –
Good design and exterior looking good, but poor quality ,the bottom is uneven that will cause thermal not uniform
Ryan –
This pan is high quality. I love that I can cook vegetarian and non vegetarian in the same pan. The only reason I withheld a star is because I can’t figure out an easy way to get the cooked food out. In a normal plan, I would just pour the food out, but I can pour anything out of this pan without it comingling. Each side isn’t really large enough to fit a large laddle so it takes quite a bit of time to scoop all the food out on one side before being able to pour it out the other side.
NiceShine Customer –
We love hot pot in our house. I had previously bought a pan from the Asian supermarket and was disappointed when the broth leaked between the shoddy welding of the divider. I was a little hesitant because of the price of the Dezin pot, but it was definitely worth it. There is no weld line on the divider and no leaking. We can each choose our own broth on both sides. Build quality is great. Handles are not cheap plastic like other pots. Cleanup is super easy, even after punishing it with an hour of cooking on a portable butane burner. If you enjoy hot pot, you can’t go wrong with this pan.

I love this pot I can make two types of meat or soups. Always cooking in medium heat to not ruin it. And of course using wood utensils.

This dish is awesome. It’s easy to clean due to its material. It conducts heat evenly. We use it for weekly hot pot at home. We’ve used it weekly for years and liked it so much that we got another one so we could include more people at our homemade hot pot nights. It’s sturdy and hearty.
Sita poudel –
If you have a small family, it’s very useful. It saves time and electricity. You can cook two types of vegetables in one pan.
Scott Cho –
Quality product but does not heat quickly or evenly between the two sides. Induction stove cooked stainless steel much more quickly and hotter. Paid full price so might only be worth it on sale. The single mold is nice. Very light and does not stick. Cleaning is fine. and the size is very large for the induction stove. Fair product. Fashion and function but at a lower effective heating on induction. Electric stove is good and the pot stays flat. Mixed review as I really love to give it a thumbs up if the heating was better. 4 1/2 stars for fashion and function.

Very nice pan. Heats nice & easy cleanup. I love it.

Makes making simple things like spaghetti much easier and less cleanup since you can cook in both sides. Very durable and has equal heat distribution.
