So….I love the concept. I even believe that on marginally dirty floors or grout, it does fine. But if you have heavy junk on your grout lines, this tool does not produce enough RPMs for the brush to do its job. It spins too slowly and there is not a way to amp that up (like higher setting switch).I love my Ryobi tools but this one is a little disappointing for the application I was wanting to use if for.
Jim the tool man –
This tool works great cleaning bathroom tiles and glass.

Great Idea for washing the RV. BUT IT FAILEDThe first one failed in 20 minutes Ordered a second one and got about two hours of use with two batteries charged either the gearbox failed of the motorHOWEVER, IT FAILED TOOI’m seeing several others have had the same issue one said he got a new one from the manufacturer
rick matherly –
This didn’t work it broke in 20 minutes, and now they want to pay return shipping……
StephenP –
I like the balance, the feel and the battery protection. It turns more slowly than I thought it would, but it does a great job cleaning the roof of the RV.
Joel Greiman –
Did not work only about 20 minutes

Didn’t work it keep stop or won’t start I returned it and never received my refund

Note: I researched this product on NiceShine as well as Home Depot and eventually purchased through Home Depot. I believe it is prudent to post my experience on NiceShine as I am not only dissatisfied with this product, but wish to warn others of the potential fire hazard it poses. In researching this product before purchase, I came across reviews which made me hesitate to buy it. Several others have complained about the motor seizing up after only a short amount of use. I realize there are manufacturing defects in every product, and because this tool seemed to fit my application perfectly (to clean a 1,000 sq ft stamped concrete patio) I picked one up.On the first tool, the motor seized up after only a few minutes of use! Determined to give the tool one more try, I exchanged it for a new one. The second tool cleaned the entire patio in about 1.5 hour just as I had desired. I purchased a two pack of the larger 4Ah batteries and still had about a 3 quarter charge level remaining on the single battery I used for the job. Happy – or so I thought!About 4 days later, I used the tool to scrub the inside of a bathroom shower stall. Finished in about 5 minutes, but towards the end I noticed that the motor seemed to be slowing down considerably and began to bind. I removed the brush head from the unit to rinse it off, then began carrying the tool and brush head out to the garage. As I was coming down the stairs white noxious smoke began pouring from both the motor and battery compartment. I immediately removed the battery and set it out on my driveway.I am returning my purchase tomorrow morning and needless to say, will NOT be getting another!POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD!

This item is shipped with NO Battery, No Charger & No Operators’ manual. The actual cost is $260.00-ish. What a total scam move!!!
Alex S. –
Wish it would spin a bit faster but it will do the job I intended it for (washing siding)
hpidan –
Too slow. RPMs at the head are no where near my scrubbing needs. Would be good for light scrubbing like siding cleaning, but not for vigorous scrubbing.
HH –
Did not work. Seller not helpful. And I purchased batteries and charger, so I am out a lot of money and time for a scrubber that does not work. The seller (name: cell phone seller) had horrible customer service also.
beata sharpe –
IT DIDNT WORK MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AND BROKE. GREAT IDEA BUT JUST CANT GET THERE FROM HERE.

I started buying Ryobi toolsp about 2 years ago . I was sick of NiCd batteries and wanted lithium. I have been disappointed that these Ryobi Lithium did not last much better than old NiCd, but this product ha ruined my view of Ryobi. I bought it almost a year ago along with an extra brush, but just today used it for the first time. LESS THAN 20 MINUTES and it quit. Tried anotheer battery…nothing. Thought maybe since the head was not in water, it had over-heated. Tried again and nothing. Do not buy this piece of trash!
Robert E Brownell Jr –
I love anything made by Ryobi. This thing did the trick on the stains on a vinyl awning.
Eugene J. Akers –
I am a big fan of Ryobi tools and probably have more than I really need. I have always been happy with the quality and operation until now. The scrubber works fine but keep the tool On is hard. There is no way to keep it running without keeping your finger on the On switch. Bummer! You need to be able to angle the scrubber around to clean at different angles. That is impossible to do and keep your finger on the On switch. Come on Ryobi, you are better than that. Every other tool has a Keep On switch of some kind. I may have to try a C clamp on the trigger.
Candy –
Used this on my motorhome and it was light weight and very user friendly!
Julie K. Allen –
We used scrubber to wash our RV. Very useful to reach over our heads. Worked well and did not scratch finish.
Lupe Alcala –
The rotation of the brush stop every minute
Charlene Davidsons –
This product is a piece of crap. You have to hold down the on button to use, even when it says continuous on/off. You can’t use it holding down the on button. So disappointed in this product, plus out over $100.00.
sp –
Did not work out of the box. It had refurbished sticker on it although it was sold as new. When i returned it the seller charged me $20 restocking fee. Pity the next person they sell it to.Crap seller and crap item.
Patrick O’Connor –
Reviews had some users that don’t understand the on/off switch.? Apparently it is a momentary switch but if you push it twice hard it stays on just fine as per the instructions. You should read the instructions!
NiceShine Customer –
It only have one speed and it’s all right but not enough for other hard stain, because you have clean product but sometimes you need speed to clean dipper. Over all is a very nice tool and if they put and use motor of the hammer drill ryoby the have it will be perfect speed and weight for me.
DTheMonkeyGodZ –
Just what I wanted, if what I wanted was to wash slower than by hand. This has such great potential. However, it doesn’t. It’s like they took the “slow and steady wins the race” to the extreme. You can’t simply add more pressure either because the motor in this can barely handle the weight of the brush. Boo I say. Booooooo.
Banker62 –
You have to hold the “on” button at all times for the brush to spin. Very difficult to use above your head while holding button. We returned the item because we could not use it to wash our camper. Very disappointed, if they redesign with an “on/off” switch, we would consider it again but don’t buy until they fix.
Steve Christner –
Unit is junk. Power button hard to keep on. Runs a a low speed. Even extended you have to kean over. Would not buy afain.

The majority of reviews I read (3 Star to 1 Star) had 1 universal negative issue: “You need to continuously hold the power trigger down for it to operate.” Unless those individuals had a defective tool, this is completely incorrect. You need to hold the power trigger down for 3+ seconds then release it and it runs hands free. Now, in their defense, I will admit you need to hold it down with some additional force. It’s definitely not a hair-pin trigger device (I actually need to turn tool upside down—brush facing up when parallel with the ground—) and apply some “thumb power” to it. I’ve used it from cleaning my car to cleaning the outdoor paneling and house siding(s). There is another “heavier” brush you can buy (or get for free if you purchase the power scrubber…if that promotion is still available) that RYOBI suggest can be used for cleaning brick or contrete. That’s depends on your definition of “Cleaning” This tool is for light weight and “medium”—Medium weight jobs . If you’re looking to “clean” your driveway or any concrete of some heavy grease/grim, this is not the tool for the job. I did used the heavier brush for my garage floor (which had old paint stains and years of dirt trails) & it did a good job, but I also brought an excellent solution that helped also. Oh and it ran for approximately 2 and half hours with an occasional 5min break with a Ryobi 18V Lithium 1.5Ah battery. Lastly, other complaints I read were how difficult it is to actually handle. Personally, that comes with the territory. It is awkward at first but over time you’ll figure it out and find that sweet spot. And “No” I don’t work in maintenance nor do I use tools like this on a regular basis. I just try different ways @ different angles and eventually you’ll figure it out….Good Luck
DWPinCO –
I have issues putting on and taking off brush. Not a lot of help from Ryobi or Seller. So Far were making it work.
Darren D. –
Purchased this to scrub the floors in my restaurant. It works GREAT for that. The battery lasts a very long time and the tool itself does a really good job of getting into the grooves of our flooring. Very happy with the purchase.
Richard C. –
Unit advertised with 3 yr warranty, unit failed after a few months . Seller no help , said had to go to manufacturer. Contacted Ryobi , would not warranty because seller was not an authorized seller. Would not by thru this company again .

Best tool since sliced bread!

Ase muy buen trabajo lo único que deberían cambiar el botón que no queda corriendo el cepillo es un poco casado tener que mantener presionado por lo de mas es excellente producto.
Illenrof –
So you go in and buy this here to make things more convenient and it turns out I have to now go somewhere and look for a battery that’s sold separately and I can’t use the product unless I go out and buy a separate battery. This is ridiculous
Maria Cepeda –
I really wish I saved the box to ship it back total waste of my hard-earned money. Who wants to hold down the power button the whole time you are using it? I know I don’t, this was supposed to make cleaning my floors easy.

I got this to work underwater in the curves and steps of my pool where the robot vacuums cannot reach. I have pebbletech as the liner and this works GREAT and cleaning the surfaces. At some point I’ll probably use it on my tile floors and if I get motivated my garage. But for what I bought it to do, it does very well.
Muy malo el boton de encendido y apagado no es suave para su facil manejo, recomiendo no comprarlo ayuda muy poco –
Esta muy dura la tecla de encendido y apagado
T –
No owners manual, dirty brush attachment, tool looked damaged. Returned

I want not happy but the seller addressed my concerns. Weak brushes and low power, manufacturer issue.
Katie –
I opened the box excited to use it and found they make you buy the charger and battery pack seperate. So it is a giant unusable piece of trash unless I make ANOTHER purchase.Absolutely an absurd, annoying, and kind of predatory tactic to get more money, to make the charger and battery pack sold separate which was not obvious in the slightest. Who expects that or to look for that detail? It’s a customer expectation for an electronic object to come with a fraking charger!!!So massively irritated I’m just returning the entire thing.
Heidi –
I’ve noticed people saying that it is annoying that they have to hold the scrubber button down for this to work. That is not the case. Some people have said that you need to push the button twice and it will stay on, for me, one deep press of the button, and you do not have to hold it down for it to work… I have heard that this was mentioned in the instruction manual, but since I got mine secondhand, I learned this on my own. Seems to work fantastic!
Traci D –
Just preventing some heartache……battery sold seperatly.
BOBBY –
Does a great job. Works great from washing, vehicles, house, dog, shower, everything. Actually ran over my first one and cried when i had to dispose of it. Quickly bought a new one.Highly recommend this product.
Tom Wilkens –
This amazing product has saved my back and knees. Doing floors is quick and simple: distribute about 1-4 quarts of water and cleaning solvent on the floor, don your flip-flops, and let Ryobi do most of the work! Cleanup is also a cinch: put a couple of inches of water in your 5-gallon bucket (which we all have, right?) in the shower, dunk the washer head, let ‘er rip. Then, remove and let “spin dry” in the shower. I get the extra water off the floor with a wet-dry vac and a towel. Voila!
Tanix Cruz –
Great product makes the cleaning so much easier
douglas reiser –
Just a note many are missing in the reviews. If you push down hard on the On button it goes to constantly spinning, Lock On. Whereas a light touch push you have to keep your finger on it for it to spin.
Michael Thompson –
This works exactly as expected. It doesn’t spin fast, but it is pretty powerful. I use it to scrub the shower. The on/off switch works fine once you understand how to use it. Basically, to turn it on, squeeze the switch for about 3 seconds, then let go. The unit will stay on until you squeeze the switch again.
John Belyea –
Wow wish I knew about this 5 years ago. I own a 28 ft boat with a textured deck. I used the scrubber around the whole boat worked Great getting all the mildew stains off with the right soap.
Cristopher –
A bit hard to use! Wish the on button was a switch instead of a button, hard to keep it pressed while using it.
Janis rutt –
Not as powerful than we expected. We really like the Ryobi Tools. Have many different Ryobi products, but we really wanted something that was more powerful to do hard scrubbing on windows. Disappointed on this tool.
TMcCann –
First off, I did NOT buy this on NiceShine – bought it at Home Depot (Same Price). It has a good amount of torque which is nice as it helps clean. The brush doesn’t spin that fast which at first had me worried but with the amount of power, it’s just fine. The battery is not include, so that is an additional purchase. In the past I have used a brush at the end of a power drill – the Ryobi is much easier and the results are just as good. For cleaning my bathtub I first wet the tub and then sprinkle some Borax power over the tub. Add the spinning brush and it comes out great. The pivoting head is also a nice feature. Happy iI bought it, I just wish Ryobi offered a bigger selection of brushes that fit this device.
BG –
This is my second time around as the first one broke. There are some plastic parts in the drive mechanism that were prone to breaking – especially if too much force is applied. Solution – take it slow and easy and let the tool do the work. The brush supplied is quite soft, but you can get a stiffer version seperately. Wish you did not have to hold-down the “on” button, be nice if it was a simple “on/off” switch. All that said – nice tool for the right situations.
Joyce Dyer-Birkholz –
HORRIBLE. STOPS WORKING WHEN HARD SCRUBBING
Fernando Reyes –
Helpful and versatile
Lector Bennett –
This is amazing. Everything is great. Get the stiffer brush.
Tim –
Switch is momentary on with a light push or constant on with a deeper push. Push it deeper in the middle of the switch for it to run constant then push it again to turn it off. It’s not about time… It’s about depth. If you use the tip of your thumb or finger, it will be easier and the rubber switch cover will last longer.Middle Handle is fully adjustable swivels forward and back and spins 360 degrees around the pole with the use of a thumb screw.Pole adjusts easily with the twist of the barrel clamp.Nice and strong without excessive speed that could damage the scrubber or the scrubbed.Light and manageable yet enough weight to feel like good quality. The head swivels several settings between straight on to about 10 degrees beyond 90 so that when scrubbing the bottom side of something, like an aircraft belly, the pole can angle upward for your comfort.Don’t abuse it and you’ll love it.
NiceShine Customer –
A birthday gift for my husband, who has more than 50 Ryobi products. This one, however, is going back. The power button must be held down by the user, and the RPMs turning the brush head is entirely too slow nor can it handle any kind of contact pressure with the item being cleaned.Great idea, but HUGE design flaws
Anthony –
The only problem the heads come off to easy, you can put them right back on but it is frustrating that they keep falling off. I like the product this the only negative
James W. –
👍🏼
Kindle Customer –
I was hopping that this would help clean the pavers that we have. There was no considerable benefit.
Eric –
bought this for the wife’s new cleaning business and she used it to clean some airport showers. cleaned 5 years’ worth of dirty off the showers easily and amazingly. would recommend.
Boyd –
The on and off switch is real hard to keep on. You have to keep it pressed with some force. Hand gets really tired fast because of pressure you must apply to keep on. Works well and does a good job.
Kate C. –
Once I figured out how to turn it on without holding the button down it worked great. It is a manageable, weight and easy to reach in those tough places. I used it on my gutters and siding.
Jimmy –
I bought the extra tougher head piece for it and I used it to scrub my floors in the bathroom and kitchen. SO much faster and easier than scrubbing the floors by hand while on my hands and knees. Just get the floors wet, scrub with this thing, then mop it up. Saves me a lot of time and back pain.
Ardys –
Really like its use. Works well in many parts of the house and garage.
bheiser –
My son used this to scrub my parents steps that needed a good cleaning. He also scrubbed the concrete patio but purchased a more durable and slightly larger brush. Saves lots of time then doing manually.
NiceShine Customer –

The flimsy handle assembly nut broke from the plastic that was preventing it from spinning as i was trying to loosen and tighten it. I sent a message to ryobi and never got a response. The rpm also should’ve been sped up a bit more. I’ll search for va similar product in temu instead.
Z1A –
I bought this on a whim after seeing a social media post that it was on sale. Realized after the fact that the battery and charger are sold separately making this very expensive just to wash the shower. Returned.

torque is good, speed is MEH
TeDe –
There were no instructions/ product information, etc. in the box. The on/off switch is hard to locate. When I found the switch it does not work.
R. C. –
Wow!The scrub brush spins slowly to moderately and doesn’t like pressure. How can I scrub something dirty and not apply pressure to the brush?Very disappointed.
Andy –
The power is good and it cleaned well. The problem is with the power button. It’s difficult to push and doesn’t stay on. It takes a lot of strength, in your fingers, to push and hold the button. Not a cleaning tool for anyone with arthritis for sure!!!!
Sue Uustalu –
It is difficult to control. It jumps a lot.
WAW- Mullica Hill –
Find that the product makes fast work out of all cleaning projects
Ed –
They on and off button was extremely hard to push and very uncomfortable while you were using it. I bought it to clean hardwood floors. I gave it a one star rating sending it back.
Sandy D –
Wanted to use it inside to Mop floors.
Branden Allmon –
I use this everywhere. Inside and outside my home the interchangeable brushes will clean porcelline to concrete.
jsmac8218 –
This may have been the best purchase I have ever made for any type of cleaning product. I bought this specifically to use to clean my boat and it works better than I thought. One battery lasts for more than 1 full, bow to stern cleaning and the standard bristle works excellently. Please be careful not to get the head stuck so the bristle head comes off, for boaters, that means it will fall overboard. Luckily the head only came off a few times while on deck. The bristles are long enough to get into tight nooks and hard to reach places on my boat. The on/off switch is sensitive enough not to trigger false starts but sure enough to work when you want it.I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who wants to clean hard surfaces.
dtimo –
The RPM is much slower than desired so often it’s back on my knees with a brush on a drill. Also, the power button doesn’t lock. I would think that most people would be using this for larger jobs so holding the awkwardly placed button limits how long I can use it.For buffing and polishing floors it’s adequate but for scrubbing, look elsewhere.
Hector Fuentes –
So I got this online nicely packaged decided to try it on Christmas Eve was disappointed it’s not strong enough the brush doesn’t turn fast enough so for cleaning tile grout I’m not pleased also the button you have to hold it down all the time otherwise it doesn’t stay on sorry ryobi but it sucks
Amy C. –
We have 8 dogs and with all the love prints they leave us this works so good!! It’s very easy to use, lightweight, and the battery lasts!!! Great price for this!!
Kimberly Noren –
I bought this because the grout never seems to get clean enough when mopping . I love all the Ryobi tools and this did NOT disappoint. I can easily get my grout color to look like its original color with the help of this handy dandy tool. It is light weight and easy to store. My batteries from my other Ryobi tools work on this as well so no need to go buy more battery packs unless you like having a back up.
Frank F. –
Bought one for shower scrubbing without having to bend.Scrubber head physically locked up after 20 minutes.Replaced under warranty. This time failed in same manner after only 15 minutes.Needs total redesign of power head.Love Ryobi 18V tools, and have many of them. But this is a total failure.Have no problems with hand scrubber version.
charles845 –
I bought this to use in my power washing business. I ended up sending it back because it was useless. It acts like its running on 2 AA batteries – no power at all. I do not recommend buying.
Brenden Page –
I love their telescoping capabilities. It’s very convenient from every angle. I pressure wash and own a paint company so yes it’s going to come in handy.
Craig Harris –
I have used and purchased many Ryobi products. It really does the job!
kenneth a. –
Not very impressed, needs to be two speed with a high that is twice the speed it is now.
JOHN BAKER –
The trigger was hard to keep in gaged. After a short time my fingers started to hurt. The trigger is in too far a to much force is needed to keep brushes going. The other thing is just applying a little force the rotation would stop. At first I thought it was the battery. ( Which was the first time I used battery). But using it on other tools I had no problem. Another thing being 6 ft 4 in. I had to lean over to use scrubber. Being to short, difficulty with the trigger, and not being able to apply hardly any pressure without it stopping. I was disappointed with product. One other thing was rotation of brushes was much slower than anticipated.
Wishing you could trust reveiws –
Works great
Tony –
This seller is not a ryobi dealer so you dont get any warranty, mine broke after 1 use so i am screwed out of my money
Harry Kazianis –
Scrap the hand held for the big jobs! This is a game changer if you have a whole house of tile or just one or two rooms.Spray down your grout cleaner, turn on the unit, wheel of brush spins really fast and count spit if you not careful.Just wipe away the residue and wa la .. clean until the dog comes in with muddy paws lol
Jjlive –
Trigger is difficult to keep engaged and brush speed is very slow, even with a fresh battery. If these two issues were resolved it would be five stars.

Not what I expected, unit lack power for hard scrubbing. It failed to deep clean a kitchen floor which was the primary reason for the purchase. I kept the scrubber, but not sure what it’s use will be.
