They arrived on time as advertised. The only problem is that the candles were in the cup portion and must have shipped through a hot climate as some melted and the wax re-solidified in cup. But a quick washout and everything was fine. The cups worked well and performed as I hoped they would. I would by these again.

The single vent fondue mugs worked perfectly! I bought 5 sets in white and 5 in black for a dinner party. So that each couple had their own personal cheese and chocolate fondues. According to other reviews I read on other products, having an airflow (open window or fan) helps tea light stay lit. We haves ceiling fans running on low and the lights remained lit without problems. The black mugs aren’t quite as substantial feeling as the white… but that didn’t affect performance. Only thing that surprised me was the amount of water trapped in the vent when I washed them in the dishwasher. Wasn’t thinking about them being a water trap and ended up dumping water all over the place.

Just what we wanted for a quick cheese fondu dinner with salad, a set for two (albeit it comes with four nice little fondu forks). Microwaved them together with a bit more than 4 ounces fondu each from France at medium (5) for about 3 minutes and the little candles kept them hot during the meal.

I bought this as a family Christmas gift, but we decided to use them early. We made a chocolate fondue in a pot then transferred the chocolate to the mugs. The tea lights worked very well; the chocolate even started to bubble in the mug. I ended up blowing out the candle because I didn’t want the chocolate to burn. The chocolate still stayed warm until the end. Highly recommend this set. The size of the mug is perfect. It seems small, but a lot of chocolate fit into it.

Came just as it was supposed to. I like that there is a recipe on the box for fondue and it came with candles. If you don’t stir or monitor your fondue it could burn because these are just like coffee mugs that hold just the right amount for 2.

Used these for my charcuterie party and they were a hit! Heavier chocolate took longer to melt and hardened if not stirred often. However, Hershey’s milk chocolate bars melted perfectly and stayed silky and smooth while lit. You will NEED to blow out the candle after an hour if still in use because the chocolate will start to burn.

I ordered these to go with a fondue themed charcuterie board for a holiday party. It worked perfectly. The candles stayed lit. I made sure they had air flow like previous reviews recommended. After a while the fondue did start to stick to the bottom/burn so I would recommend stirring every so often. These “pots” are sturdy and were easy to clean.

Awesome product. Have used it for individual chocolate fondue for two and once on my own for a small cheese fondue (from leftovers of a large pot). They work fantastically. The tealights do leave a bit to be desired, but I bought some extras that should work a bit better moving forward. I know these are dishwasher safe, but I’ve washed them by hand successfully. The bottom/inside doesn’t get dirty during normal use so it’s not a big deal that it’s a bit hard to clean. The heat works well to maintain the temp but might take a while to melt chocolate or cheese. Little forks work great, no issues. Makes for an easy dessert (add some good quality chocolate chips or broken up baking chocolate bar, maybe some coconut flakes or Chunky peanut butter for extra flavor; add a splash of milk/half & half/heavy cream and toss in the microwave for 30 second intervals until melted, stirring between each one.) Definitely recommend and even gave as a white elephant gift for the holidays!

These were great for Fondue on Valentines day with my husband and son. We had one cup for chocolate and one for cheese and we only had to refill the cheese one a bit for the three of us even though the cups are small. The one reason that I deducted a star was that the cheese and chocolate both burnt to the bottom slightly. it is surprising a tea light can get that hot. also the forks are pretty poorly made. but for a once-a-year treat it works well.

I didn’t read the description so I wasn’t aware that I spent $30 on two fondue cups and prongs that I could have easily gotten from the dollar store. I thought the wood serving board was included. Overall it’s as described but it’s overpriced.

Very well packaged. I love the cup shape. Good size4.75” tall x 3.5” wide without including the handle. The portion where you melt your chocolate has a depth about 2” x 3.5” wide. Mines came with 8 regular tea lights.

These worked so well for a couples party. Each couple shared a pot and loved it. Put cups in the dishwasher when done. Use your own tea lights candle. The ones with it have a high flame and will scorch the chocolate inside the cup— my only complaint.

My husband and I heat up about a ½ cup of Swiss Knight Fondue in a Pyrex cup in the microwave for one minute. Pour ¼ cup of fondue into each mug. Light tealight candles in the mug, below the fondue. Dip lightly toasted brioche bread cubes in the fondue. A delightful date for two!

Just to be clear, this is just two mugs with four skewers. They count all the extra cheap tea lights as part of the “total item count “. You need to add your own board and other pretty things to make this look like the picture.

I purchased these for chocolate fondue I served at a holiday party: a place where a plug in fondue pot wouldn’t work. The tiny tea lights actually boiled the fondue!! I had not anticipated this: chocolate fondue should not boil as it changes the taste. I didn’t actually note a taste change but the remaining fondue was burnt and stuck to the cup. I think more would have been consumed by guests had it not burnt, but sitting there and blowing out the candle and then lighting it again was not an option.It was a bit hard to get the burnt chocolate out of the mug. I had to soak them, crack the burnt chunks off and run through the dishwasher twice. So these are an option but not without some minor issues to deal with.

This was a gift requested by my 12 year old niece. She was delighted with it. She and her sister were able to get it set up by themselves and have really had fun trying different things to dip. One hint: if this is a gift be sure to have some cheese like cheddar or Gruyère and fondue -ready chocolate on hand so they can busy right away!

I surprised my dad with a cheese fondue lunch (which I called a deconstructed cheese sandwich) after a hard day working in the yard. Each cup holds a perfect single serving amount, and even the burnt cheese at the bottom of the cup washed right off! The candles kept the cheese nice and hot! With some apples and some homemade flatbread, it made a wonderful treat with minimal cleanup and no leftovers.

I bought this little fondue set for a “bring a board” party. It was so cute all set up and surprisingly did hold a lot of fondue in each cup.Unfortunately, my chocolate fondue was soon burned at the bottom, ruining the taste and texture. Maybe this is something I should have been more diligent at remembering to go stir it every few minutes? I didn’t think with just the tea light it would have gotten it that hot.I would just forewarn that you should be keeping an eye on your fondue, and stirring regularly to avoid the problems that I had.

Bought this for valentines day to make our own chocolate fondue night. We’ve found that coconut oil was the best to mix with the chocolate chips to prevent it from burning to the ceramic. Easy to use and clean. We’ve used it many times since we purchased this.

I love these little fondue mugs. I could hear the rattle before I even opened the box. One of the mugs handle was completely broken off. The outer shipping box and the outer box were in good shape. The mugs were packed in styrofoam. I explored the return process which became more of a hassle than it was worth. As you can see in the picture I tried to repair it. It doesn’t look very and certainly not gift-able. I understand accidents happen. I just wish the return policy was more user friendly. I don’t have a printer to print the free return label. I’m not near a UPS return facility.I’m sure these could have been a fun gift.
