Returned the first one, it dumped all the food at once. AMAZON sent a new one (next day) This one goes through a day or so doing OK, then skips a meal. It too is going back. Maybe an upgrade to a more expensive model?You can’t beat AMAZON PRIME’S service. It’s the “China lack of Q.C.”

This feeder was purchased to feed our two cats once a day at 12:30 pm. It did that ok. However it operates on a 12 hour day, not a 24 hour day. It would then feed them at 12:30 am. Despite the fact I did not set a feeding for that time The clock on it just flipped to do it. lI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. IT IS NOT USABLE DUE TO THE 12 HOUR DAY.

I love that this keeps cat food fresh and dry and disburses it in measured increments. It’s very challenging to set the amount of food and the timer, but I think once I figure that out it will be all five stars. The instructions are in small print and not very clear. You have to fuss with it, but it’s study, clean and keeps the cats on a schedule so they don’t just pig out and eat all their food at once.

It takes some time to get it programmed with the time and proper dispensed amount. I bought this so we could feed our cat while on vacation and not need someone to come over everyday. Glad we were able to set it up and use it for a week before we left, as we were able to adjust the program and make sure it worked properly. I still had someone stop in every couple of days.

I bought two of these almost 2 months ago and so far they are working well. They dispense about the same amount of kibble each time (I use Purina One cat kibble). My cats get 4 feedings a day and it would be helpful to have the option of smaller portions. Both cats have figured out how to stick their paw up the chute to get some snacks, but they only get a few pieces of kibble at a time so it’s not a problem. I do have to reset the timers about every 3-4 weeks because one of them begins to lag behind the other. So they arent perfect but overall I’m happy with them.Update: The cats figured out how to knock over the feeders which makes the lid come off and gives them a pile of kibble. I attached the feeders using bungee cords to a piece of wood screwed on to the baseboard behind the feeders. Then the cats figured out how to unlock the food reservoir from the base. The locks have to be covered with duct tape. So I am deducting one star because the design is not completely cat proof. These are 10 month kittens.

I love this feeder for my cat. I had to get her something on a timed feed schedule a few times a day because she has issues with grazing and portion control, and this has the customization options of up to 5 meals a day, and portion sizes. Super convenient for my cat who doesn’t regulate how much she eats. She also hasn’t figured out how to break into it which is another plus. The instruction manual is also super easy to follow. It also has a back up battery function in case the power goes out, your cat still gets fed.

I read through a bunch of reviews saying it was difficult to set up, but it was probably the easiest thing ever! All you have to do is plug it in and hold the button down to select your portions! It’s so convient to have if I will be gone all day!

My bf got I to the bad habit of feeding the cats when every they begged. Now at 3am they DEMAND food. Now they are set to get a small snack at that time and i keep adjusting the time to be later every few weeks.One is using batteries now the other cord. Both work I’m just nervous the battery will run out and I won’t notice since display is off with just batteries. Will plug both in at some point and keep batteries in as a back up just in case. But batteries work just fine if not near power source. No wifi. But I don’t need another thing to yell at me via phone anyway.

I really can’t say anything bad about this feeder. It’s almost infinitely programmable to do any sort of feeding arrangement you want to have for your cat and fed the kibble we use just fine. So far we had zero failure points.

I set it up and once I read the instructions, I figured it out well enough to manage it manually as well as to schedule 2 feedings a day, even though it supports more. The portion control is small, but then you just tell it how many to actually deliver, so I was delivering 10 portions to feed 2 cats twice a day. Simple. It went well with water fountain I purchased, too. I was able to sleep through their feeding time at 545 AM.

We love this! We are going on vacation soon so I wanted to get an auto feeder and set it up to make sure it worked properly before leaving. Today is my first time being home so see it drop food at the correct time but I have had it manually drop a feeding. It was super easy to set up and it dropped just under 1/8 of a cup of food. It is set to feed her five times so this amount is perfect. She will throw up if she eats too much at one time. Super happy with this product. I have it sitting on her old food dish for now to keep her from bending over and vomiting afterwards.

I realize this isn’t an expensive product, but I would expect it to last longer than 6 months. It has stopped dispensing food at 1 of the 4 feeding times. Doesn’t matter if it works 3 out of 4 times, it defeats the whole purpose of an automatic feeder if it just works “most of the time.” This scenario isn’t mentioned in the user manual. Also, the support email address they have listed in the user manual doesn’t work. It sends me a message back saying email could not be delivered. I would recommend spending a little extra money and going with a better feeder.

This automatic cat feeder is a total lifesaver! It’s super easy to set up and figure out, even for a tech-challenged cat parent. I love that it holds a ton of food, so I don’t have to refill it all the time. Plus, it’s not going to break the bank, which is always a bonus. I use it plugged in so I can’t comment on the battery life but I imagine it would save you in a power outage.

My husband & I travel a few times a year & I always worry about our cat. Even tho she’s a pole barn cat living in a fully heated pole barn, I still want to make sure she’s fed & watered as well as comfortable while we’re gone (& yes, I have a freiend check on her 2x’s a week when we’re gone for 7 days) & this feeder takes the worry out of how much food is she getting. We have a standby generator, so losing power affecting the WiFi isn’t an issue for us, but it also can be bettery operated as well, so either way, if you don’t have a generator, your pet will still get fed. The app is super easy to maneuver & when full, it provides about 10 days of food, depending on how much food you choose to dispense thru the portion option in the app. And if you have a pet cam, you can watch it to make sure it’s working properly if you’re concerned. But, the app will also let you know if it didn’t dispense food (if you don’t have a pet cam). It does have a bit of a steep price tag, but when it comes to our pets & our piece of mind, it’s really worth every penny.

This feeder works really well. The app is very well thought out and makes the feeding schedule and portion control easy to set up. I like that it has a good seal and also a built in desiccant to keep food fresh. The battery back up is a good feature in case power is lost if you are away on a trip. The app will also let you know if a meal was not dispensed, giving even more peace of mind while on vacation.

I’m really happy with this automatic cat feeder and the app. This is my first automatic pet feeder and so far it’s been perfect. Obviously my cats love this and come sprinting like a bat out of hell when they hear it dispense food which is just added entertainment for me. The app is easy to navigate and allows timed and manual feedings. It is also super easy to manually dispense food on the device itself. My cats eat three meals a day and their ‘lunch’ is dry food so this has been very helpful with the mid-day feedings and portion control. Yay less work for me! This was easy to set up and easy to configure in the app. I can set the portions of food and number/time of feedings for my Russian Blue, who’s like to sing the songs of her people at top volume overnight when she’s hungry. (Worth noting, I use Purina One kibble, which is just the right size (under 0.5 or half an inch). This affordable widget was recommended by a friend who’s got a pair of yowly kitties and it’s worth a look if you’re considering an auto-feeder for your nightly “singer”.

I like this thing a lot. – The bowl is an easily-removable stainless steel insert. While testing, you can easily lift out the insert to pour kibble back into the container. When it’s dirty, you can just stick it in the dishwasher. Best of all, it’s shallow to avoid whisker fatigue. – Wall power is USB-C, and the cable is VERY firmly held in place by the strain relief. If it gets caught in a vacuum the cable will sacrifice itself to save the station. – There’s a compartment for four AA batteries for when the power/network go out. The device is smart enough to retain whatever schedule you’ve set. The motor doesn’t use a lot of power, so those batteries should last for a long power outage. – It’s fairly inexpensive and DOESN’T have a camera. I love my cat, but these apps all stream through somebody else’s server and they often turn out to be insecure. I don’t need a video feed out there.Some minor gripes: – This feeder uses the “Smart Life” app. It doesn’t promise Google Home integration, but I’ve been trying to get my “Smart Life” smart outlets to link for weeks and the situation will probably be the same here. This app is perfectly functional – allows you to set a complex schedule for each day of the week, and to do manual feeds – but I hate the profusion of apps and wish everything could just have first-party integration with Google/NiceShine/etc. – There is a compartment at the top for a bag of silica gel. That’s great, but who stocks silica gel in that precise size? I wish it was designed to take granular silica gel, which can have color indicators to tell you once it needs to be dried out in an oven again. – The bowl is designed with a slope so that food picks up some velocity, and it’s shallow. If you are feeding more than one cat at a time, or a cat who eats very large meals, it’ll overflow. That’s not an issue for me since this thing is just for my cat’s overnight snack and occasional day trips when I’m away.

So far this has worked well for my cats. One of the cats is sensitive to plastic so I like that this has a stainless steel dish. It’s easy to remove and wash when needed. This was easy to set up and seems to work well with their food. I was worried about the food size at first, but I haven’t had any trouble with this clogging. We feed a type of Hills Science Diet so the kibbles are circular, slightly flat, and about a quarter inch across. I like that I can control this with an app as well. It’s made it so much easier than the other automatic feeder I have.

My cats old auto feeder gave out after 5 years of faithful daily service and I chose this one to replace it. My last one didn’t have wifi connection so that’s pretty neat and it was super easy to get it connected to the network. Now I know for sure that it has dispensed food and when it needs refilled. It’s a lifesaver for when I’m on vacation, that way the pet sitter only needs to worry about the litter box and spending time with them. The bowl being metal is a huge perk, it’s easy to clean and holds less bacteria than plastic does, and can help prevent feline chin acne

This is a nice automatic feeder for a cat. The app is easy to use and set-up was simple. My issue was with my mischievous cat. He pulled the whole thing over and probably missed several meals. In the future it will need to be secured so he can’t pull it over.

Bought originally because I wasn’t going to be home for about two weeks and wanted to buy something to make the sitters job easier while I was gone. Very simple to use and set up, I have it always plugged in but in the event of a power outage I have batteries in it and during any power issues its done amazingly. The feeder looks nice, it came mostly assembled. I have an auto feeder from another brand but wanted one that didn’t beep loudly for the second cat. The app was easy to download and set up the auto feed program. The problem is that I never could get it to work. I would try to manually feed, and it would say it had, but nothing happened. The LED screen never displayed what it showed in the instructions, no matter how many times I tried. I finally gave up, re-boxed it (which was a huge pain), and it’s getting returned. I’ll just live with the loud beeps and re-order the one I already own that works great.

I have the double feeder with the no Wi-Fi. It is awesome. I love it so much my cats absolutely love it. I was able to set up feed times got another cat who is a little bit outcast I needed a singular one. I thought let me get the same brand I get the single one and immediately it did not feed my cat the first time, I clicked the app it was disconnected even though I was only 5 feet away from it the whole time I tested it by setting a time and then putting my phone on airplane mode it did not feed. I called customer service and they told me no my phone has to be near it at all times were to feed which defeats the purpose of having an automatic feeder because when I go on vacation, I would like it to feed my cats or if I’m at work, I’d like to feed my cat snacks, but that doesn’t happen this one so I’m returning it

So, I’m really surprised I’m not over feeding my cat but also not. He came from a home that he had to share food with 20+ cats. He gets hungry a lot and I know because he gets overly affectionate. This really helps to give him as much as I want to throughout the day. I felt like it was easy to set up with the instructions. You can have I think 6 different feeding times and can set a different amount for each time. I keep mine plugged in because I don’t care to keep up with batteries. It’s easy to load but when it gets low the food doesn’t always shift to the bottom well. The metal bowl comes out for easy cleaning and the black bowl holder comes out from the feeder if it needs cleaning too. Definitely recommend if you have a wild schedule or if your animal doesn’t do well with once a day feeding.

We bought this pet feeder because it advertised small portions of 7 grams. We have a cat that needs to lose weight and requires small portions throughout the day.The portion sizes are around 13 g, so don’t waste your time if portion control is your priority.

I purchased two of these for my cats, as they eat different amounts of different foods (one is on diet food, another is on hairball food). We wanted them to have an automatic feeder for when we go out of town. Initially, we monitored them to make sure they weren’t stealing food from each other or going to the wrong bowl. They were very quick to learn and got accustomed to the new feeders quickly. They did seem a little skeptical about the tinging noise of the food hitting the bowls at first, but got over that quickly.They work great and are accurate as far as dispensing amount and time. I love that they connect to the app and I can easily adjust feeding times/amounts. I also love that you can plug it in and keep batteries in it as a backup power option. This makes me feel much better leaving the cats alone for a few days while on vacation.I do wish that it was easier to remove the canister that holds the food though. If you try to take it off, food falls out the bottom. You either have to empty it or turn it upside down to take it off and clean it. Maybe some kind of closing/locking mechanism could be added? The feeder is very easy to refill with food though. I also wish it had the voice recording feature that the double feeder has, as that always helped notify my cats that it was feeding time. Overall, this product works great for us and our two cats!

I purchased for the ability to use via the app as I like to schedule an automatic portion before I wake up & manually push a later feed time to make sure my cat doesn’t overeat. She is primarily fed wet food, with dry food used sparingly inbetween. The app is decent. Great customer service.

Application (App) run.I came here to review how well the installation and the controlling of the auto feeder has been.Easy fast download ( apple for me) of app and easy Interface.Selection of multiple feeding times and food amounts.Adjustment editing easy.Better control of how much you feed or remember to feed.You can view the past food deliveries and also choose a manual one time food drop.We purchased so we can leave for two night’s vacation. So far is working great.Drawback: If there is food left in container when you lift, will spill out.Also, if there is food in tray filling area, makes difficult to reinstall storage container. The cluge is to lift entire unit upside down to ensure all remaining food goes back into storage container.And that’s the only reason for a four star vs five.Battery backup.Great app

Purchased three, I travel a lot and they are WiFi accessible and programmable. I have 5G internet and they linked no problem. Highly recommend 👍

It works how intended. I wish it held a little bit more storage. However, it was easy to connect and set up. Sometimes it fails on the feeding. I attempted a “slow feed”, and it only shot out food once not the other 3 times it attempted. I mainly got this because I thought the locking feature was nice and it would stop my cats from getting in it. It doesn’t. I tried knocking it over like my cats would try, and the lid immediately came off and food was everywhere. I attempted three times with different amounts of force. My cats are fat a*ses and have literally ripped a food bag apart to get to eat it. They most definitely will find a way to knock this over to get food, and once learn to do it, there’s no stopping them. My wallet can’t handle the amount of money on food I’ll loose because they’re fat and this lid won’t stay on when knocked over. Also, the makers put this stupid big white sticker on the lid that was a pain to get off. The sticker was for you to see if the food is big enough to fit. Y’all could’ve just made this a separate sticker with an option for us to put it on the device, or just put it on the box or instructions. It was annoying.

We bought this product for our pet in March 2025. It was great and easy to use from anywhere. However recently we noticed that the screen wasn’t working and the device wasn’t connecting to the wifi. We emailed customer service at 10pm and explained what happened and asked if we can have a replacement since the device has two year warranty. We slept and next day, we got an email from Sue! She was so helpful and easy to communicate with. She answered all of our questions and responded promptly to our emails. She asked us to send a video of what’s wrong with the item, and asked us for delivery information. We got the replacement within 2 days and it was working perfectly again. I’m so thankful for Sue and her amazing customer service because we were to make sure our pet was fed when we’re at work. She’s also making sure to check with us if our product is working fine and told us that we can reach out to her anytime. It was so great talking to her and it wasn’t a hassle at all. When I also called their support line to see what the progress was on the replacement, they were also easy to get a hold of and not too long of a wait time!

I don’t give reviews often but here it is. Overall, I like it for the price point and easy set up with my phone. It allows many schedules to feed which is great as my cat is old and does numerous small rounds of kibble feedings each day. It uses batteries as a backup. This failed. We had a storm. I’m currently without electricity for 10 hours and the backup for whatever it should do and needed 4 batteries for, is not working. Yes; the batteries are Duracell and brand new. I went to the companies website for assistance and good luck with that. Back to hand fed portions until my electricity is restored. For not working as intended , 2 stars. I do recommend the product but be aware if you travel or are away and have power interruption your pet may not be happy. I will note; I’m not aware how it will work just yet should I only have internet/wifi outages.
