  1. Random User

I got this for my elderly parent because she has issues maintaining her balance at times. She recently had a fall and I thought it was time to get her something to assist with her balancing issues. The cane is handy in that it can be easily folded up into a compact size and stored away. The adjustable height is a great feature as people come in various heights. The adjustable base is a nice addition. Having the ability to add four more feet to help with balancing is great, but because the feet don’t really extend out too much, it doesn’t really help a whole lot with balancing. It actually gives a false sense of security if you’re not careful. Overall, this cane does provide adequate help at an affordable price.

This cane is excellent for 6$. It snaps into form once the pieces are released. It has 5 height adjustments. It has a textured ergonomic top and a slip resistant bottom. The cane slipped on a wood floor, so I am a bit concerned about a slip where I slip with the cane. However, in general this cane is very sturdy, comfortable to use, and did not slip except for the one time (I am 5’10” 200 lbs). It also comes with a wrist strap. The one thing it did not have is a way to secure the pieces so the cane can be easily stored in a bag etc. It shows one in the ad, and in general it is incredibly inconvenient to not have some sort of latch or band. However, once again for 6 bucks I’ll add a velcro strap and give this cane 4 stars (5 stars if band came with it).

The thing you will notice first about this cane is it is extremely lightweight. It folds up very small and will fit in a large purse. It unfolds almost on its own to form a very strong support. This cane is easily adjustable to the exact size you need it to be for your height. The handle fits well in your hand and feels comfortable. This cane also has a strap by the handle so that you could hook it for storage on the wall or just wrap your hand inside for added security so that you don’t drop it. The tip of this cane is rubber and is very thick and durable. I highly recommend this for its quality, and value. I also love that it is incredibly lightweight.

Pros:o Range of 31″ to 36″ covers most people up to 6′ or soo Folds up into very compact package, less than one foot longo Strap has a snap that is used to hold cane in folded up positiono Clever feature allows for switch between standard tip and more stable quad tipo Surprisingly resistant to flexing for a four piece caneo Ergonomic handleo Strapo Great priceCons:o Anyone taller than 6’2″ or so might find this cane not tall enoughThis is a pretty nice cane, it hits all my key points that I’m looking for in a folding cane. The only thing keeping it from cane nirvana is that it is slightly limited in its size. The good news is is it will adjust down to a short enough length for almost all users, but some very tall people will need a cane longer than the max 36″ here.I’d like my cane to have a carry bag, but at the price this is selling for, I can see why one is not included. Find a bag you like and add it to this guy and you are in business.——–I’m honored to be included in the NiceShine Vine program, and I work really hard to make these reviews and videos helpful. I put in a lot of effort to try to help you learn the most important facts about the product. Good luck with your decision, and if you do decide to buy the product, I hope the things you find in this review make it easier to use.

Walking Cane Oulisen Cane for Man | Mobility & Daily Living Aids | 5-Level Height Adjustable Walking Stick | Comfortable Plastic T-Handle Portable Folding Cane with Special TipMy wife laughed at me!!! She said I am getting a cane collection like a woman has a shoe collection!! I keep trying, new different styles and still going back to my first cane. Thus far this might be a contender for replacing 1st place. It all started with those commercials about a cane that stands on its own!! Well, as long as the ground is smooth flat and you are very careful with letting go and re-getting ahold of it. That is the reason for my search!! Seems to be a bit more stable and able to stand on its own without being as prone to falling over as some of the other ones I have tried!!

This “Oulisen Cane for Men” works well for women, too. When it is folded, it takes up only about 6” x 11½ of space in my tote bag and weighs about 1.3 lbs. I already had a light weight folding cane that was pretty good for getting around the house, but it wouldn’t stand up by itself, and it was unreliable on rough surfaces. A separate “big foot” attachment added another ½ lb. to its weight. It was a hard to remove it and put the small foot back on, and the folded cane was way too big for my tote. This Oulisen cane is so much better. It is sturdy, compact, lightweight and easy to convert from one small foot to four sturdy feet by opening a switch, dropping the legs, and closing the latch again. It will be the cane I take with me when I expect to walk on a variety of surfaces or have to take public transportation.

The OULISEN walking cane is sturdy, has 5 heights settings, a wrist strap and a dual-mode non-slip base tip. The base tip can be set up for one or four legs for better stability and the cane also has a handle that can be used by right or left-handed persons. When not in use, it folds easily and can be tied down using the wrist strap. The current price of $10 makes this dual-tip foldable and adjustable cane a good value.

I liked the fact that this cane folds up fairly compact. It was easy to unfold and to pop out the extra support feet on the bottom.

That is my biggest issue. Missing the band pictured. As soon as I took it out of the package it flew open and snapped together. That could be a danger for someone not expecting that to happen.

This is a no frills lightweight aluminum folding walking cane. It folds small enough to fit in a purse or backpack. Assembles in seconds. One thing missing is a strap to hold it together when folded. I wrapped the wrist strap around the pieces to help hold it together but it’s not ideal. The handle is hard plastic. It’s not soft or foam which would be easier on your hand when using. My current cane has a foam covered handle and this not only is easier on my hand but it also prevents the can from falling down when you lean it against something. The cane is skinnier tubing than my current cane. I wouldn’t want to put too much weight on this cane. I wont use this cane as my primary cane, but it’s good to have a backup cane. For $6.00, it’s a great buy. Most canes are $20 or more.

I used the cane without the four feet deployed for a bit until I could figure out how to get them to drop down. On grass, it was adequate but on the sidewalk, it seemed like it was going to slip if I put too much pressure before I lifted the cane.I tried everything I could think of to push that little button to bring the feet down. Nothing worked. I resorted to a pair of Channel locks but even those did nothing.I don’t trust the stability when I am using the cane with only the one point of contact so I won’t be using it until I find someone who can manage to get the feet down.

This cane is a good price and snaps into place very conveniently. This might be ok for helping with balance and such depending on the weight of the user, but I only weigh about 150 pounds and am very confident that this would break if I put my whole weight on it. I just tested it and when I put a good amount of my weight on it, it bent noticeably. It did not collapse, but the test seemed to put a permanent lean in the cane and I’m very confident that it would have broken if I kept going with my full weight.I think someone could get seriously hurt using this and don’t recommend it, especially if they are over 150 or so pounds and need to put their full weight on this.. I don’t want to call this a total bust as it is well made and handy, but it’s just not sturdy enough and I’m going to toss it. I think this is probably ok for general use for someone who is light weight, but it’s not worth the risk for me to have this collapse. I think most people are going to be better off paying more for a more robust cane.

The Oulisen Walking Cane is a good foldable cane for the current price of under $7. It snaps together all in its own; literally a bit shocking as I wasn’t expecting it to “jump” into place like it did. It is adjustable by pushing a button and sliding it up or down (better than a twisty type connector). It’s very lightweight, but almost to the point where I feel it’s better at providing light support to someone walking rather than providing more weight bearing support. I am taking it with me when I travel in order to provide a little more stability during the walking tours. I didn’t receive the band shown to hold it together come down, but I was able to use the wrist strap. One single wrap doesn’t keep it as tight as a double wrap around did. Not impossible to do, but the closure strap would have been much nicer to have.

The two best features of this cane are that it is truly lightweight and also that it is attractive. Love that it folds up into a small package and can be carried easily into locations where the cane might need to be tucked away (airlines, bus, etc.) The design is attractive, and, the handle is easy to grip and strong enough to give balance and light support. It comes with the ability to set the length of the cane to fit one’s height and comfort. Although the cane folds into a small package and unfolds into a full length cane, the cap at the top only slides into place and does not screw into place to tighten up the sections firmly as other similar canes do. It gives it a bit of a flimsy feel. The cane itself is made of very lightweight, pretty thin aluminum. This makes the cane very lightweight but doesn’t give a feeling of strength and security that would be preferred. It’s my opinion that the cane is good in the points stated above for looks, balance, and walking assistance, but not ideal for heavy set people who really depend on the cane for upright security.

I received the Walking Cane Oulisen Cane for Man | Mobility & Daily Living Aids | 5-Level Height Adjustable Walking Stick | Comfortable Plastic T-Handle Portable Folding Cane with Special Tip.OK, I really, truly do like this cane…EXCEPT there were no instructions on how to operate the latch to expand the tip from the single tip to the Quad-Tip position! As an older woman with arthritic hands, I could not pop open that little latch for tip expansion.I finally had to have my husband mess with it, and he finally got the latch popped-out for adjustment.Other than the difficulty I personally had with getting to tip to the quad-foot position, I like the rest of the cane. The Good: – When expanded, this is very sturdy cane for a folding style one. – The adjustable Tip really is a great idea and quite useful. – The color is a basic black finish that goes with pretty much everything.- There is an attractive gold band at the top of the staff that adds some class. – There is a wrist leash with a snap to double as a wrap when the cane is folded. The Not So Good: – The difficulty with the Cane Tip Latch operation, which I already mentioned. – The Handle is very hard, and for me it was uncomfortable, so I added a handle-pad to my cane.As with ALL of these Folding Cane Styles, even though the height adjustment can be “locked”, the rest of the staff does not lock, so you need to be aware of that and use the cane accordingly.All-in-all;This is a very nice folding cane, with a very useful feature of the adjusting tip positions.I permanently leave my Cane set with the Quad-tip position. For me, it is too difficult to flip that clip out to do any adjustments.I love that Quad-Tip, so it works fine for me in that position. The price for this cane, around $15 at the time of this review, is very reasonable and well worth it.I am very happy with this Folding Walking Oulisen Cane.

This walking cane is indeed very light, so light that I don’t feel that it is made for anyone over a certain weight. It seems a bit un-sturdy to me. I feel I am okay using it in an emergency but this can will not be my regular use cane. Really feels that it is more made for children because it feels to light to feel comfortable putting all your weight on it when walking. Overall ok for a kid but not for a heavy adult.

This is a foldable lightweight cane. Folded, the cane measures 10.5” long and has a handle that is 4.75” long. The cane is made of 5 pieces of aluminum tubing connected with elastic shock cords. The last 2 pieces telescope and expand with a button on the side to make the height adjustable (5 heights). The handle is molded plastic with some texture for grip. An elastic strap holds a nylon cord near the top that can be used for hanging the cane when not in use. Fully assembled, the cane measures between 33” to 37” long according to the selected height adjustment. The bottom tube is ¾” in diameter, and the rubber tip is replaceable.I really like the portability of this cane. It also feels surprisingly stable despite its light weight and folding construction. I am a 115 lb woman, and my balance and stability issues require me to use 2 canes or walking sticks at all times. With my weight, this cane feels very stable, with no give or wobbliness to it. I’ve had issues before with canes that had self-standing feet and flexible tips, and also with other folding canes that seemed to give way just a bit when I put my weight on them. This cane is rock steady when I put weight on it. Nevertheless, it is a little noisy when I walk with it as the various joints between the tubes get stressed. I wish that the nylon cord were elastic or had a clasp so that it could hold the tubes securely when the cane is folded, or that there were a Velcro strap or something, because the loose sections simply want to fall in place all the time. This cane is great for travel, for sticking in a bag as a spare to have when you need it. Overall, this cane works well, at least for light weight people.

I am impressed at how this is collapsible and how easily it pops into place. Being only 5’3″, I appreciate that I can make it shorter for me so my elbow is slightly bent and more comfortable. The handle is okay on comfort, I may add a bit of cushion but we’ll see. The end has a tip that is securely attached and it is so lightweight, it’ll store easily in my carry-on when I travel. It did lose a star because it doesn’t feel like it will support my full weight. I use it more for balance vs. heavy leaning so it should be fine. The construction of it is very cool.

The product seems to be very well made. I absolutely love the ability to go from a single tipped end to a quad tip end. This is where my “all terrain” words come from in the reviews title. When using the quad tip it covers more surface area for greater stability when moving about on uneven surfaces plus the cane stands up alone and doesn’t have to be propped up on any surface for stability. It is also full adjustable from 32 to 36 inches and only weighs 1.2lbs. It is easy to fold up by pulling down and out on each section to separate them from each other to which it fold down to approx 1 foot in length. The only thing it doesn’t have is some way to hold the cane together once it’s broken down. The handle is made of plastic and reminds me of the old time “Hurst” shifters in muscle cars of the 60’s & 70’s which to me is very comfortable to hold. Comparing prices of similar canes on the market the selling price for this one is really good especially for the features it offers you. Overall I would definitely recommend the cane to anyone needing assistance with walking as this one gives you the added stability of the quad tip feature which doesn’t come on any canes I have priced similarly.

This cane is like my 5-Star Honey Bull in construction and weight and has the same good foot. I bought it because it has the extra side handle, which I have already used to get up from sitting without any other aid, a very good feature. The light and alarm work and are a bonus. My problem is that the side handle has a hole that appears made to accept a spring peg like exists for the overall height adjustment. But there is no spring peg for it How does it hold up my weight? Glue? Friction? I’m putting all my weight into the side handle when I use it to sit up. Will it stay in place? There are NO instructions with it. I’ve had it two days and will keep using it but I want to know how the side handle is held in place. Otherwise this would be a 5-Star for sure.Follow up: Six month later the electronics failed, both light and siren. New batteries and it doesn’t work.Internal wiring may have failed. It’s now an okay cane but without the light I needed.

I do not recommend this item. The alarm sound is weak, flashlight looks like a kids toy and both of them stop working randomly – then you have to take off the batteries and put them back on so zero reliability. The cane itself serves the purpose but honestly due to the overall built quality of this product I decided not to trust on it and just trashed the whole thing.

Purchased for my Dad. He really needs a cane but is reluctant to use one. He has trouble getting up from a seated position so I like the handle on the side which can help when needed and folds up when not needed. The base is solid. Weight is light without feeling flimsy. Our caregiver liked the light at the end and may get one to use while walking her dog at night. It helps my Dad balance and he’s even admitted it does, but still doesn’t like the stigma of a cane. At 94 he still is not ready to admit he may need help.

Comes with storage plastic case in folded up position. Great to keep in car and snaps to full length on removing from case. I like the molded handle with impressed finger grips unlike most of the budget canes which are smooth. Also, the wrist strap stretches which is another nice touch. Of course these sectional canes may be a little wobbly at first but on use I find it does stiffen up somewhat and is supportive as it should be, and very lightweight for extended use. At such a small price point, it is a good cane and I recommend it.

I saw a cane on social media that looked interesting. It had a flashlight, a siren and an extra foldable bar to help you out of a chair. It was on sale for $69.00 . I decided to look on NiceShine and found a similar cane for about $20.00. I decided to buy it. It was the best decision I made.I use the flashlight to guide me when I shut the living room light to go to bed and it lights the way to the bedroom. I feel secure using it. I would highly recommend it. It is sturdy and easy to use and it folds up too.

I have several canes. This one needs rework. The battery lid opens where hand is, so is alarm where fingertips rest. The cane separates so easily you can use it to pull, push or lift anything. I personally do not find the getting up handle comfortable to use.Very disappointed and surprised so much in bad locations. One night 2am grab the cane alarm went off, thankfully not too loud.

The handle grip is plastic and has no real grip, the light on it does not shine bright at all… Barely lights up enough to make any difference, and the alarm on the side of it broke on day 2! Good idea but poorly made.

This cane is pretty good. I purchased three of these for some elderly people at my church because I wanted them to have the flashlight feature for added safety when they’re walking at night time. They all really like the cane, and they like the flashlight and handle that assists them when they stand up. They also like the siren on the cane in case they have a problem, fall, or something of that sort. The only thing I noticed about the cane is that it’s not really all that stuff or strong. It certainly does not have a very confidence building strength feel to it. I would just say it’s good for the price, but you are getting what you pay for sturdiness wise.

Unstable…rickety..impossible to stand from a sitting position while using it..(unstable)..no confidence from falling..light and siren work great..good as just a canebasically a fancy walking stick..

Totally misrepresented on this site, so short like for a child or a little woman, much too short for a grown man close at 5;11. Totally unsafe size. Poorly made and designed. Very light weight and when put together is shaky to say the least. Loose at every joint, very light weight and will not support me when needed. This is a totally no go for me. I am requested return ASAP because they totally poor quality, misrepresented as to size and quality. I cannot suggest to anyone to buy these terrible canes.

this is a cute cane but it is cheaply made and on my first use, the back flap that holds the batteries inside popped open and the batteries fell out. I replaced the batteries and put tape over the plastic flap to keep them inside. The side-handle for getting out of the car is useful. and I like the light (another reason the flap has to be secured with tape). but there is no getting past the flimsy construction. Not strong enough for the obese.

The handle is the weak point here. Mine broke the second I took it out of the box and the device that holds the batteries constantly opens by itself. However, it is still a decent cane at a reasonable price.

Very cheaply made. I wouldn’t trust it to be a safe cane. Hard plastic handles an base, cheap light weight tubing for the cane. Not safe nor very practical. Beware!

I bought this for my aunt and she loved it. The light is so bright at night so she can see where she’s walking when she gets up in the middle of the night. I would recommend this to anybody and the siren on the cane is loud . The only thing I wish I could’ve had another hole to go down one notch. It’s a little high, but she’s using it.

There wasn’t anything I liked about it. The cane was too wobbly, it fell down too often, it wasn’t stable when I stood up.

Very strong and sleek design. Stands on its own without being noticeable even when using. Very light weight. Husband loves it but I didn’t let him see the box lol.

It’s a really nice cane. The only thing I couldn’t get it to go below 5 foot three. I just needed another notch on it to make it feel comfortable, but it didn’t seem to look like the picture and that is why I returned it too because I just needed a little shorter otherwise a friend of mine who is taller she is the one that told me about it and loves hers. It’s nice to have a little siren on the side. You never know when you can you need it if they made it smaller I would get one again. I’ve lost height. I went from 5’5 down to 5’3. That’s the only reason I gave it two stars.
