The media could not be loaded. If you¡¯re able to follow all the rules included in the instructions, this works just as described. It¡¯s key to keep it dry, so don¡¯t install it in the shower. It¡¯s key to use the right kind of soap. I tried glycerin soap to begin with and it just gummed it up. I didn¡¯t have to clean it off, though, for the white block soap to work just fine. If you¡¯re trying to kick the habit of liquid soap or body wash, this could save you some significant moola, though if you¡¯re aiming to use less plastic, it is made of plastic so that¡¯s probably more of a wash unless you¡¯re able to keep using it for a long time. I think this would be a great solution for someone who has a favorite bar soap but struggles to safely use it, like my Mom when she broke her shoulder last year. The fact that you can mount this for one-handed use really helps, especially if you¡¯re at all concerned about dropping the slippery soap and having to bend over to pick it up. Time will tell how well it holds up but I have great hope for this little device.

This bar soap dispenser is such a useful and well designed product. It's very easy to use and works great. Just add your bar of soap and press the dispenser level. The soap comes out finely shaved and never more than you want. I highly recommend this product!
